First time here. I brought my husband here for his birthday. It definitely did not disappoint. Beautiful decor. Wait staff Kelly and Wade were amazing. Very helpful and patient. Started off with appetizers. We had the Alligator meatballs and shrimp lejon. Main course we both had filet mignon with twice baked potatoes and brussel sprouts. Everything was cooked to perfection. We ended our delicious meal with dessert. We chose the bread pudding and peanut butter and chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream. Will definitely return. Thank you for an Amazing. Spectacular. Delicious dinner.

The Marshallton is a fantastic upscale Steakhouse! Owner and Chef, Glenn, is as personable as he is talented. Food was all top notch, perfectly cooked to order. Worth every penny for the food and atmosphere. Interior is redone, comfortable yet sophisticated. Several areas could be closed off for private parties. One area looks as if it might accommodate a Brunch Buffet, so can't wait to see what becomes of that. Definitely will return.

All I can say is amazing!!!!! We found Appleton Caterers on the internet! We were planning a small wedding in our backyard with about 30 people. We met with Glen and Sheryl and they were amazing!! They handled everything from our tent to the officiant to the food!!! All we had to do was walk out our backdoor!!! It was a stress free day and we couldn’t be happier!! The food was amazing and all my guest enjoyed our special day!!!

Glenn and his team prepared an incredibly delicious and beautiful spread for my brother's memorial service. Everyone raved about the food all night. Since Glenn knew our family since our childhoods, he went the extra mile and hand-made a gorgeous turkey display made of fruit in his memory. We were all highly impressed with Glenn's kindness, skill, professionalism, and reliability. I would go nowhere else but Appleton for my catering, and I know they now have lots of new customers after last night! Thank you, Glenn, for being the man you are.

Recent purchase of stuffed cabbage. $12+ for the meal. Purchased the same meal sometime during the summer it was $8.95. Quite the jump in cost. Seems the recipe changed as well. Not as good as the summer purchase.

We had Appleton Catering make the food for my husbands 60th birthday party. The food was absolutely incredible!! They displayed the food beautifully on the trays. They delivered everything including steamers,linens, plates and silverware. Appletons eliminated all the stress of planning the party and our guests were really happy with the food! We will definitely be calling them again :)

I have picked up to-go meals on many occasions from Appleton Catering. The food is always excellent and surprisingly low-priced. The lasagna is unbelievable. The cole slaw is perfect - like the old-fashioned, non-gimmicky cole slaw your grandmother used to make. Appleton Catering also catered my wedding; they came over and set up a couple of tents in our back yard; later, they brought the food, including the terrific wedding cake. The food was great - sliced roast beef au jus, Chicken Chesapeake, meatballs, and desserts. My friends ate it all - every bit. A few years ago, when Target opened their Christiana Mall store, Appleton's did it up right. Owner/Operator Glenn Vernon commanded one of the stations they set up; he put on a show, worthy of the best TV chefs. Throwing vegetables in the air, spinning and twirling various foods and implements, he drew a crowd - we laughed and laughed. And I haven't even begun to sing the praises of Appleton soups. Glenn makes all the soups - incredible bisques and cream soups, various chicken soups, and the list goes on and on - about 30 different soups. You can buy them at their store, frozen or fresh. Whatever you need, give Appleton's a call. Glenn's lovely daughter, Katie, or his beautiful and talented wife Cheryl, will take good care of you; and when your event is done, you will be a happy person indeed.
