Went over here for the first time on Superbowl Sunday to get a sub for a few people. I got the Italian, it was delicious. I was surprised because I thought it's just a sandwich..it was above my expectations and I can say they have great quality. I'll definitely be back and I recommend going. It was around 3 pm when I went and it was very busy but the staff was kind and everyone's order seemed to be moving right along. Thank you.

The meatball sub is the best meatball sub in Wichita. Makes a certain well known sandwich place look pathetic. Meatballs, marinara and Italian seasonings. I always add the sautéed peppers and onions and it tastes so fresh. The marinara is fresh. The mac and cheese is simple yet tasty. Maybe a little more salt. I also got a large drink- and they have the make your own flavored Coca Cola freestyle machine. Little pricey, for some more than others, but you get the quality you pay for. The Large sub is definitely large and stacked. I got pickup and it was waiting for me in 10 minutes even with the later lunch rush- about 1330. Plus they have new take out paper bags that hold the large subs better and it’s recyclable since it’s paper. On a personal note, I had covid-19 during Christmas and lost my taste and smell for at least a month. Even afterwards, for a few weeks, I felt foods tasted bland and uninteresting. We got Firehouse and it woke up my taste buds and was delicious.

Store was very clean, was welcomed at the door, and the staff made my difficult sandwich perfect. DoorDash messed up the order(the usual) so I just told the staff what I wanted and they made it fast and accurate. Specifically the older gentleman working was very helpful. 10/10 would go again.

Great food and the employees are friendly. Try to eat there at least once a week. Also the owners are top notch. They have helped feed the Wichita Fire Dept at their expense and immediately after the Andover Tornado last week, they made, delivered, and fed the first responders. I highly recommend this sandwich shop

Best Firehouse Subs in Wichita! Subs are flavorful with good portions for the price. I loved the italian and engineer sub. This is my favorite sub chain compared to others. Staff are always welcoming and gets my order right on every visit.

First time we came here we walked right out. The cost was more than we wanted to spend. Today, we decided to try it. Dang it, we should have tried it the very first time we entered!! Our end cost was cheaper than we expected and filled our bellies properly. They were training so our order was messed up but the staff promptly caught on and resolved it on their own without us informing them. Trainee was apologetic, having worked in fast food/restaurants I totally get it, no harm no foul, she owned up to it, learn from our mistakes, right? Man, I ordered the Italian and that was friggin DELICIOUS! Definitely better than Subway or pizza hut's versions of the same thing The sub was very flavorful and not over stuffed. My wife finished her sub before I did, she really enjoyed hers. The atmosphere was good, clean and spacious. Will definitely be eating here again.

Hadn't been here in yrs but grandson wanted, so we 'dashed' an order. VERY TASTY!! We were very pleased with the food. Only bad thing... couldn't enter the sweepstakes because there's no code on 'third party ' receipt or none inside! We will enjoy again!!

First time trying, it's so delicious, even when are order was ready the employee was so awesome wish I knew his name,that he brought us our food though we were a take out order. Definitely a must try if you never have. It is pricey depending on how many adults and amount of food your ordering but it's worth the money trust me 😃

Consistent quality and good natured employees. Always busy, so tables are not always wiped but your not eating off the table and food is worth wiping the table yourself.

Not to the standards I've seen at other locations. Dine in area was dirty. Tables hadn't been wiped down from previous customers. Had the beef and cheddar but it was very cold in the middle. I took it back up and they made me a new one. 2nd sandwich had the same issue so I just ate around the sides where it was warm. Guessing it was a supervisor that helped me, she was the only one welcoming customers and that acknowledged me when I took my sandwich back. Just not the service I generally receive at other firehouse locations.

The food and service at this Firehouse location was outstanding. The staff was courteous and helpful from the minute I walked in the door, to the moment I departed. My sandwich was fresh, warm and delicious. I ordered a large sub because I was hungry, but the portion was too big. I suggest not getting a large sub, unless you want to make two meals out of it. I highly recommend this Firehouse location.

I have been to MANY Firehouse Subs across the country, this one was nice, clean and with great customer service. The elderly gentleman ahead of me was upset because his online order was wrong (his wife only ordered 1 sandwich) they took care of him, no questions asked and he was super happy. I have an aversion to dairy & my husband hates veggies so I always special order. They got it right the first time! Only 2 problems for me: no Barq's Cream Soda & no Lay's Barbecue chips!

Clean place to eat. Nice and spacious. Great food. First time eating here. My boyfriend ranted and raved about it and i finally got to try it and i loved it. Worth the money. Staff was polite as well. My philly sandwich was cold inside and i asked them to heat it up. They told me they couldnt heat it up but could remake it. I was fine with that. But when they remade it, even though i paid $12 for a footlong, when they remafe it they only gave me a 6 inch.

Ordered the large Firehouse Hero, and it rocked my world. Roast beef and turkey were piled high, crunchy veggies and the perfect ratio of mayo to mustard provided me with the ultimate sandwich experience. The large sub definitely lived up to it’s name - making two meals outta this one.

Hate to say it, but these subs are fire. This isn't slopped together, thrown in a bag Subway, it takes more time and craft to put something this delicioso together. I see people complaining about the wait, but good things take time. Besides, consumers always forget it takes real time to cook good food. The hot sauce bar will keep me coming back for more. Always friendly staff making an always mean sub.

I absolutely love Firehouse, I will drive from Derby, by all the other sub places just to eat there. Ive never had a bad experience. I found them when I was living in KC and was eating there several times a week. 1) need one in Derby area. 2) need to deliver yourself, not grubhub. I love this place!! This place puts Subway to shame on so many levels! And each patron can donate towards a firefighter foundation to procure more equipment to make firefighting more efficient, esp. In cases where victims are concerned.

The sandwich smelled like pickle so I couldn’t finish it, and I had to settle for the roast beef because there isn’t a BLT option. Extra tomato was great, and so were the brownies.

Not happy at all! Watching some little ones and my boyfriend ran to grab us some food while at the hotel. Needed two different orders. The women that checked him out was very rude and wouldn't change it to 2 different orders. After he called and talked to someone to make the order. Called to complain about how rude she was. Said sorry this isn't the first time. She didn't give him a receipt so she wouldn't refund or anything. So rude very disappointed.

I had the surf and sub I wasn't very happy the bread was Soggy I suppose because of the vegetables for some reason the meat taste sweet not just to me but my family also. It was just a disappointment, maybe they were having a bad day.. I do like the firehouse so I will just assume they were having a bad day I'll go back again one day

I really like this place, but you pretty much have to eat there or within minutes of getting your food or your bread is soggy. I wish there was a solution to that, bc I have four kids and do not want to eat there. But other than that, the food is really good.

Hands down my favorite sub place. They actually pack your sub full of meat and it is always fresh! Definitely worth the price. This is where I chose to eat for birthday ! Firehouse hero is my favorite sub ask to add bacon ;)

Hot sauce bar is phenomenal I love all there choices of spicy goodness you can add to your sandwich..menu itself isnt bad it's pretty laid back but has a few signature sandwiches that really stick out but to me the hot sauce bar is the main reason I go at all with out the bar this place would be just another subway shop
