We went here to get breakfast, and it was pretty good, the food tasted very good and it was on our table in less than 5 minutes. Service was good and price was not that crazy. Loved the coffee also, I had a cappuccino.

I ate breakfast here and had their BBLT sandwich and a Hazelnut cold brew coffee. The coffee tasted great and was just the kick I needed. The BBLT was a BLT sandwich with scrambled eggs. It tasted awesome! Would recommend!

Food was good although nothing outstanding and the chicken soup could have been a little bit more developed. The only challenge was that the staff and the customer service seemed a little fragmented and there seemed to be a palpable disconnect between the register the counter and the prep area and there was a lot of yelling going on. Overall good atmosphere if you are sitting down.

I happened to be walking past this place on a breezy and cold Friday afternoon, and took an immediate right into the entrance. I was having stomach camps, that is how hungry I was. The last time that I had been to one of their locations was years ago while I was working in Crystal City.. I was amazed to see that this place was pretty inviting and relaxed. Perhaps I honk it was more likely that I missed the lunch rush. Today was old enough that it required hot food or soup, and not just any old cold cut sandwich. Besides who eats salads on Fridays? I decided on the meatball panini which had provalone cheese and marinara sauce. The sourdough bread must have been made this morning, that is how good t tasted. I placed my order and came upon a seat close to thefront window. It took them just a few minutes to get this panini ready and I was getting to the point where my eyes were watering! I decided against the soup that was offered and I included a leamonade. Everything was great here!

We ate here two days in a row and remembered my daughter's order from the day before. Friendly staff and restaurant. Great coffee and my daughter loves the strawberry Lemonjade. Next time we are in the area we will stop again.

We went there on a hot summer morning in July. We were a mixed group of adults and kids and all of us were vegetarian. Ordered all that was veg- the wrap, the pancakes and bagels. While the food was good ( the wrap was nice and we added avocado) the service could do with some improvement. Our order was for veg pancakes and initially our plates had bacon, on being reminded by the server the cooks were trying to scrape the bacon off. I was watching at the counter and asked for them to redo the pancakes as we are vegetarian and wouldn't eat the pancakes that had been in touch with the bacon. They didn't seem apologetic instead were not happy to do it all over again but grudgingly did it. I continued to stand by the counter even though the lady told me they could bring it to our table as I didn't want any such thing happening. Another's customer had a similar altercation which had the cook walk out and confront him. Seems like the employees here are stressed and can do with a cool head. The food was good, pancakes were huge and filling, almost 2 adults and 1 kid can share those pancakes!

THEIR COFFEE IS OUT OF THIS WORLD. For a chain restaurants this location was excellent. Fast service, nice people, I got an sweet vanilla iced coffee and it was perfect. They seemed to know my taste exactly since I could actually taste coffee and not just sugar. Also got the chicken pomo-something panini and it tasted fresh and excellent. Totally going back to this place .

Great place to visit. As a Canadian, It was my first time in DC with my brother and this restaurant helped us and made us a great breakfast! It was plentiful and tasted great. My brother is a picky eater but he was thoroughly pleased with this place. Thanks for the warm visit guys! You made our breakfast experience amazing!!

This place is very nice. Quite similar to Panera, but with different food options of course. I enjoyed a cup of coffee while my family dined on delicious looking food!! Only bad thing about it is the location...parking is really difficult (as to be expected in this part of DC).

The entire menu tasty and all served really well cooked and quickly. Lots of pancakes, breakfast sandwiches, oats and so on for breakfast. My coffee was good too. Most appreciated the friendly service and that it is kept really clean, a lot of diners on this trip have been of the sticky table, slippy floor type. Only thing to watch out for is the calories, most of the menu packs them in.

Good breakfast/lunch options. I had the Strawberry Lemon pancakes with bacon and eggs and it was delicious! The service was very fast and friendly and it had a quiet, laid back atmosphere which made my experience here very enjoyable. I would rate this 4 1/2 stars if I was able, would definitely come back here.

My sandwich had barely any meat on it. Although, I asked if I could have some more steak on the sandwich and they happily gave me a little extra. My friend got a pasta dish that looked good, but it was a dinner sized portion. Coffee was good.

There was some mix up behind the counter with my food. I was wondering where it was but still a couple of minuets away from getting up and asking. When one of the workers from behind the counter approaches me and asked what I ordered, she takes my receipt and goes to make sure its being made. Come to find out the food runner was on top of her game, she noticed that people were getting their food before me and made sure I didn't have to wait too long. Excellent Service!

I am a NYC food and restaurant writer. I was visiting DC with my fiance this past weekend and we were on the hunt for a good cup of coffee after the not-so-hot one (no pun intended) cup we had at a hotel. I spotted this adorable, pinstriped awning when I was walking around earlier in the day and made a mental note to try it out. Just before we got into the car for the long drive back, we stopped in. It was around 11AM on Sunday and the place was bustling, but wasn't chaotic. Everyone was really nice and were being served in a timely fashion. Thelma, rang us up. I ordered a divine iced coffee and my partner in crime ordered a hot coffee. Both were wonderful. He did light roast and I opted for dark. We really wanted chocolate chip cookies. The display was out. I was super disappointed because since we arrived on Friday, I had been craving a old-fashioned, classic chocolate chip cookie. Thelma had a few trays that had cooled and actually packed us a little bag of the cookies. She was super kind and accommodating and had beautifully polished nails. I wish we hadn't had brunch because the food people were ordering looked soooo good. Especially the egg dishes. Well, I can't wait until our next visit.

This location is one of the best in the city! The staff are very friendly, polite and professional. They're desserts are amazing and they have a lot of healthy options to choose from including salads, pasta, sandwiches, paninis and soups! Definitely stop by if you're in the area!

It’s clean. We ate the harvest salad and meatball panini and they were yummy. The bathroom is clean. After we ordererd, We asked where we get our food and the cashier said to pick a table and relax. Then The waitress hesitated to give us our food because we didn’t have a number. I guess it was a misunderstanding but we ate our food and it was good.

The food was surprisingly good for a chain, but the best thing is I foolishly left my briefcase with my valuables in it by the table, and didn't realize until I was 2 blocks away. I ran back and asked if anyone had found anything and the staff immediately went and brought my briefcase out for me. I thanked them and left a tip for their honesty.

I really like this place, often I go there to lunch with co-workers and friends. I usually order a option called "choose and two", half Caesar salad and half chicken carbonara. The place is good near to metro center station, two blocks. The staff are friendly.

The staff was so wonderful to me on a hot day. They accommodated my coupon for a free little Bundt cake and then at the end of the visit the staff surprised me with a second Little Bundt Cake on the house. If you are working a late afternoon by the White House and need to use Wi-Fi this is a good place.

Great coffee options (way better than your typical burnt Starbucks roast I'm). Small space where you might be able to get a couple people together for a quick bite or conversation, but tough to spread out or really get comfortable... It's right on K and Vermont though, so can't really expect more.

First time visisting washington dc and forst cornet bakery cafe I've ever been to. This was close to our hotel sonwe gave it a try. Food was great and the staff was extremely nice. My daughter got pancakes and bacon, i got a small egg sandwhich flat with avocado. Everythig was delicious! Great place for a quick bite thats not fast food...try thr cold brew too!

Standard Corner Bakery food, which is good, but this location loses stars because the entire restaurant ran out of napoleons; not one napkin during a busy Saturday morning rush. Also, one of the two bathrooms "didn't work" & the other needed a key, which wasn't specified & everyone was confused, waiting in line. Corporate should stop into this place & get them in check.

I’m here almost every day, my campus is a block away. The food slaps, the workers are always cracking jokes and I can always find a table. Also - the iced caramel macchiatos are a godsend (or maybe i just like sugar too much).
