We could not have asked for a better caterer for our 1/15/22 wedding. Sherry was absolutely AMAZING. I originally selected Goodrich because of their clear menu (with pricing) and website layout. She was so communicative with phone calls and emails leading up to the wedding. They wrapped my plate and sent us home with a tote bag of food, which was such a lovely touch. Her staff was kind and so respectful with our masking policy. I will recommend their company to anyone who asks me if I know a good caterer. The food was tasty. We did not have a single complaint. I’d give them ten stars, but we can settle for five.

I am so glad I used Goodrich Gourmet for my wedding!! I planned my wedding and because of the back log of 2020 brides I had a hard time getting timely quotes from caterers. Sherry made everything easy by having different levels and options outlined already. The basic package was good but we went with the 2nd tier because their were so many more options that caught our eye. We also added a Mac and cheese bar with was a major hit. Sherry and her staff were awesome, they kept food coming and did a great job keeping the venue clear of plates and cups all night. I would recommend Sherry and Goodrich Gourmet to anyone planning their wedding, she was so easy to work with and the food was some of the best wedding food I’ve had.

Sherry was very easy to work with. Had great communication skills and responded in a timely manner. After our tasting there were a few items we wanted to try, she went out her way and delivered them to my job so we could try them. The food at our wedding was hot and good. Everyone loved the kicked up ham biscuits. I ate 3 myself! we also had a few guests that had special diets, she prepared ratatouille for them and they loved it. our buffet consisted of the jerk chicken, talipia, potatoes and mac and cheese. everything tasted really good! We would recommend Goodrich to cater your wedding!!

I have attended a few weddings with Goodrich Gourmet's catering, and everytime has been a wonderful experience! The food is immaculate, and the service is top notch. The catering crew is phenomenal; they are friendly, professional, quick to clean, and ready to serve the food. Goodrich Gourmet recently catered my daughter’s wedding and I was so pleased!! From just the initial search online, I knew that Goodrich Gourmet was the catering company for me. First, their catering menu options on their website with the clearly outlined packages made it easy to see what was available and figure out my budget even prior to contacting them. Once I made my inquiry, Sherry was very quick to reply and I believe she even called me before replying to my email. I really appreciated the wonderful and clear communication throughout the whole planning process. I just had a sense that the care that was shown to me in just the planning of the menu and table settings would also reflect in the meal preparation at the event and I was right. The table settings were beautiful, the food was fabulous, and weeks later, friends and family are still talking about how good it was. In the course of planning this wedding, I encountered vendors that were just doing their job, but it was evident that Sherry and her team, really cared about our event. She wanted it to be good for us and that we would be happy. To top it all off, they sent the happy couple off with a sweet picnic basket of leftover goodies to enjoy. I highly recommend Goodrich Gourmet to cater your large event or even your next office lunch, which I did as well because they were so great to work with. Wow! These guys are not just food and made my wedding perfect. They do everything! They prepared a beautiful appetizer and dinner spread that tasted absolutely amazing. They also set up and broke down most of the wedding. On top of that, they handle the linen rentals. These guys do everything. I heard many compliments on the food all night. They even made sure we had a plate at the sweetheart table after we came back from photos. They worked so hard and made everything so beautiful.

My venue had a preferred list for catering. After getting a few quotes, I went with Goodrich Gourmet for value and food. Goodrich Gourmet's food is so good! The tasting was great. Sherry was easy to work with when it came to rentals. On my wedding day, an employee gave us a sampling of our cocktail hour food while we took family photos. My only regret is that we didn't get more of that food! For the reception, Sherry made my husband and I a plate and served it to our sweetheart table. I had no idea she would do that, so that was a nice surprise!

I would highly recommend Sherry Goodrich and Goodrich Gourmet! We shopped around a little prior to our tasting and hiring of Goodrich Gourmet. I found their price to be super competitive and Sherry was wonderful to talk with and get the feel we were going for along with our budget to come up with a custom and affordable delicious menu. We were married in a beach house/backyard and wanted a casual feel, so we went with the drop off catering option. This turned out to be a great decision for us. Sherry's team set up all of the food for us, put extra pans in the oven on warm and it was like they were never there (other than the awesome food they left behind)! I was busy getting ready and it was wonderful that all of the behind the scenes work went so smoothly, I didn't even have to think about it. The food was SO GOOD. From the tasting I knew we had found our caterer. Everyone at the wedding complimented us on how wonderful everything was. We also ended up with extra (had some no shows) that we worked on the remainder of the week! (Which is great because you just spent lord knows how much on a wedding, no grocery shopping was an extra bonus). This was a DIY bride's catering dream come true! If you are looking for great food, at a great price, from a super nice lady, please give Goodrich Gourmet and Sherry a call! You will not be disappointed.

Sherry and her team did a fabulous job catering our corporate Thanksgiving Luncheon. I have catered many times before and I would definitely make Goodrich Gourmet my "go to". We hired Goodrich Gourmet Catering for our son's rehearsal dinner 7-12-19. The food was delivered on time, the presentation was beautiful and everything was delicious! We had strawberry and walnut salad, roasted red pepper chicken, garlic smashed potatoes, shrimp and grits, grilled summer vegetables, and rolls/butter. Everything was perfect and our guests raved about how good the food was. Sherry worked with me on thickening the sauce on the chicken dish and adding a little more flavor to the chicken. We hired Goodrich catering for our 10.10.2020 beach house wedding. Throughout the planning process Sherry was so helpful, professional, knowledgeable, super friendly and seriously FLEXIBLE. We invited 114 people, and due to Covid, we unsurprisingly ended up lowering our guarantee to 40 ppl. Also, after a first round of selections and assembling the menu, I decided to switch things up and I made some off-book requests. Sherry was able to expertly pivot without issue and made suggestions that were right on. We met our contracted amount by adding an extra hors d’oeuvre and including higher-end rentals which hit the mark and made everything more elegant and lovely. It was PERFECT. Goodrich also offers a wide and attractive selection of rentals for dishes and silverware. Our florals were simply fresh green garlands and along with graduated votives, their dinnerware aside the brushed gold flatware complemented each other so well…it was so pretty (simple and elegant). Many of our guests made a point of telling us how great the food was and even went into which items they liked the best. Sherry even made special plates with a little bit of everything on them for my new husband and me. This was such an unexpected treat since we might not have eaten otherwise being that we quickly abandoned our table to mingle and visit with our friends and family. The bartender also made a point of checking in with my husband and me throughout the evening to make sure our glasses were always full. The service, Sherry and her team were just terrific, really top notch. My personal favorites: Petite Beef Wellingtons, Honey Smoked Salmon Mousse Canapes & the Carmel Apple & Goat Cheese in Phyllo, Ginger Macadamia Crusted Salmon with black pepper merlot reduction and the Slow-Roasted Beef Tenderloin with Horseradish Cream sauce & au jus…but frankly EVERYTHING was delicious; all the food was beyond yummy. Catering and the bar are arguably the most important components of making or breaking a wedding experience for guests. Not only did my husband and I thoroughly enjoy ourselves, but when more than one guest confides that your wedding is the best one they have yet attended…the success is hugely due to the food. You MUST hire Goodrich Catering. You will be so glad you did.

Goodrich Gourmet was very courteous with the ordering process and patient while we waited for final numbers on people that were going to RSVP. Staff was very flexible with starting the order for the food that was needed at a lower number and then increasing it closer to the event. Great communication with staff regarding getting the cake made up and reasonable with prices as far as the amount of people being served. The food itself was phenomenal and everything was great! All of the guests attending the grand opening ceremony I was a part of raved about the buffalo chicken with blue cheese over triangle chips and the bruschetta was out of this world. The staff brings the food in and nicely sets everything up for you and gives great input on what will work best. They also provided cutlery and plates and napkins. Whether it's a small event such as a grand opening or a big event like a wedding, Goodrich gourmet can handle it and make the event seem special no matter what. Most importantly any guests attending will leave with a great taste in their mouth and add to the memories of the event. Sherry Goodrich did a great job and was extremely courteous throughout the whole process making sure the needs for the grand opening ceremony were met. I used Goodrich Gourmet for the first time for a Retirement Reception for a Dean at EVMS. I was impressed at first by the selection and the pricing, but come the day of the event, I was blown away by how professional Sherry and her staff were. I chose Goodrich Gourmet because they had BETTER ideas and upped the game on this event. Goodrich was our third catering company that we contacted, and after talking with Sherry and doing our taste testing, we knew they'd be the caterers for our wedding! Sherry is the sweetest and her communication was very on point throughout the whole process. She was very patient with us and really took the time to make sure we had everything on our big day. She and her team made sure we even had plates on our Sweetheart Table so that we could actually eat at our reception. THE BEST! Pre-wedding: Very thorough and flexible with the menu. ALL of the food at the taste testing was delicious. We actually switched a few items because we couldn't decide. Wedding day: She and her solid team were early and made sure everything was good to go. They even went above and beyond to make sure our food tables had some decorations. We forgot our cake cutter, so she came prepared with hers. They put our plates on our table so we had food as soon as we got in from taking photos. The sweetest part about Goodrich - They put our leftovers in a very sweet picnic basket with a lovely note. That right there sealed it all. I recommend Goodrich for weddings and ANY events! Their food is delicious; they have a solid team; and their prices are very reasonable. We had a lot of guests come up to us during the reception and even weeks after the wedding asking who the caterer was because "that was the best wedding buffet food [they've] ever had!" Thank you, Sherry. You really made our Special Day one to remember.

Goodrich Gourmet Catering company catered a Christmas Party at my home where we had over 65 guest in attendance. From the initial telephone contact, to on site delivery and set up, they were friendly, helpful and professional. We were unsure whether to do more of an appetizer menu, entrees or meal stations; so Sherry Goodrich made some suggestions based on her catering experience and it helped us come up with a plan. Delivery and set up was on time and extremely efficient. Some of the menu items we ordered were... Crab Dip NC BBQ sliders Buffalo Chicken Triangles Handmade Barbecued Meatballs Cheese & Cracker Display Kicked Up Ham Biscuits Bacon Wrapped Scallops Jumbo Shrimp Cocktail Tomato Basil Bruschetta Fruit Display Everyone LOVED the food. The Buffalo Chicken Triangles were a big hit as well as the Handmade Barbecued Meatballs and NC BBQ Sliders. If you are looking for an event cater; I would highly recommend Goodrich Gourmet Catering. I also have used them for catering smaller luncheons for work as well. Again, they are professional and always on time. Their menu is extensive and can put together any menu items that would go over well in an office setting. They include flatware, cups, plates, napkins and the like. My experience with Goodrich Gourmet Catering is always an excellent experience. I would highly recommend them for ANY occasion.

I contacted Sherry within less than a month from my grandmother’s 80th birthday dinner for my family. We wanted a very specific menu and would be in Virginia Beach from out of town. Sherry was patient and helpful with all of her descriptions of the food that they could provide on the first call. Following that call I picked our menu from their menu and we were rolling! A week before the event she called to clarify what beverages, and set up time. The food drop off was very quick. Now the best part- the food is OUT OF THIS WORLD. I was the favorite relative that night for booking Goodrich and people could not stop talking about how great the food was. Steak cooked to perfection that we even had leftovers for breakfast steak the next day, scallops, shrimp, lobster, sides, salads and a huge tray of cheesecake bites, strawberries, and brownies. We were all very full and very happy. I would reccommend Goodrich to anyone and everyone. Top notch place run by wonderful people with great food.

Our group used this Catering Company for 6 days straight (last week) for breakfast only and were never disappointed. The delivery ladies all arrived on time and were extremely organized and friendly. The food was always brought in and on the counter, ready to eat within minutes. It was hot and delicious when we ordered the Deluxe breakfast. The scrambled eggs and fruit were especially delicious. We made changes to our order nightly, sometimes at very late notice, and they always accommodated our requests. We would definitely use this company again and would highly recommend them to others!!

We hosted the Rehearsal Dinner for our son's wedding earlier this month. We live in the Richmond area and had no knowledge of caterers in Virginia Beach, where the wedding was held. We began our search online, and several things about Goodrich Gourmet Catering caught our attention. We made an appointment with Sherry Goodrich, and met with her in May. She was genuinely concerned with getting to know our wishes, and since we had never done anything like this before, she offered excellent guidance in the areas where we weren't sure. We were comfortable from the start in entering into an agreement, and we did so as soon as we found a suitable venue (a conference room at The Wingate by Wyndham, Greenbrier Circle in Chesapeake -- also an excellent choice). Sherry was thorough with all aspects of the proposal and contract, and she was extremely willing to make any adjustments that we asked for along the way. The evening exceeded our expectations in just about every way. The food was delicious and exactly as described; the service was above and beyond. Sherry and two servers were punctual and efficient with set-up, service, and clean-up, and they were beyond helpful with respect to a few last minute matters that needed attention. Planning a Spring Tour for the Stoughton High School Norwegian Dancers included trying to figure out how to feed 24 High School Students & 10 Chaperones breakfast in 2 Sandbridge Beach Homes. One call to Sherry at Goodrich Gourmet Catering Co and our worries were over. We had early (6:00 a.m. early) HOT breakfast delivered to 2 beach homes on time. We also had to change up our delivery times the night before and Sherry had no problem accommodating us. Sherry was absolutely wonderful to work with the 8 days we were touring the area. Goodrich Gourmet Catering Company catered my wedding reception hors d'oevres and dinner on September 25th, 2015. I had an absolutely wonderful experience working with Sherry Goodrich to plan our dream wedding dinner. She was always available for me and willing to help me out and was understanding when I kept changing my mind back and forth. We had been having issues with the time frame for my wedding and she was willing to help me figure out ways to make things work that I was unable to see on my own. She was an absolute joy, and treats you professionally but like a good friend at the same time. She really cares that you get things exactly how you want. I was so happy to have found her. Our hors d'oevres were available to pick up during the day as we needed as we had a gap between the wedding ceremony and reception. We got the artisan cheese display with fruit (which everyone went nuts for ) as well as the bruschetta, which I absolutely looooved. Dinner was at the venue as promised, on time and with all of the discussed details. We had a strawberry salad with different dressing options. The vinaigrette and blue cheese made it spectacular. It was displayed beautifully, like artwork rather than just a salad. For our meal options, we had the roasted red pepper chicken which was raved about as well as the penne alfredo pasta with chicken. It was seriously the best alfredo ever, and everyone told me so. Our sides were rolls and butter and asparagus with balsamic glaze. All in all, we got everything we were looking for out of our first meal as man and wife, as well as customer service that was out of this world. I cannot rave enough about Goodrich Gourmet Catering and Sherry Goodrich. Choose them. You will not be disappointed; your expectations will only be exceeded. Thank you Goodrich Gourmet Catering!
