Flavor alert! Fozzie’s has absolutely massive and extremely flavorful sandwiches! To be honest, I don’t think anyone in our family has ever fully finished a sandwich, so be prepared to share or have leftovers. They do have a gluten free bread option that is really tasty, so be sure to check that out if that is something you need in your diet!

Amazing salads and fantastic sandwiches. The menu has tons of interesting options with ingredients like goat cheese and mango. Interesting shakes as well. The restaurant is best for takeout since the inside counter is very small but there are a good number of outdoor tables.

Doesn't look like much on the outside. But they have an extensive sandwich menu. As well as desserts and shakes which I haven't gotten around to trying yet. My first visit I got the Big Bend Mafia sandwich. It has Italian sausage, shaved beef, provolone and some pickled veggies I can't pronounce. It was more than I could eat. My wife got the half pound gouda burger and loved it. We will definitely be back to sample more of the menu. Outdoor eating or carry out only.

I came back to town after moving and I had to stop buy. It definitely wasn’t nostalgia. It was even better than I remembered! Friendly staff as always and your gluten free bread is amazing! I may have to stop by again before I leave town.

First time here, arrived just after 11am on a Thursday, not busy. Wife ordered the Miss Piggy with fries and I ordered the Big Bend Mafia sandwich with chips. Order was ready in around 10 minutes but sat on the counter another 10-15 minutes before they bagged it up and gave it to me. Sandwiches and fries were lukewarm by that time, a bit of a disappointment, but they were otherwise delicious and the homemade chips were good, not over-salted. Realistically, during these trying times, nearly everyone is understaffed and Fozzie’s was no exception. Despite this, the staff was friendly and did their best under the circumstances, very commendable. We’ll definitely return to try other items on their impressive menu.

I decided to try something different for lunch and found them. When i went into the shop there were a few people ahead of me. Then more came after me. So it picked up right when I came in. Unfortunately i waited about 40 minutes to receive my food, which I'm pretty sure probably isn't the norm. Once i got got back to my truck i opened the bag and began to eat my sandwich...and it was worth the wait. The sandwich (nacho pollo) was way better than i expected. I wanted another one once I finished even though I was full.

I’m kicking myself for waiting so long to try Fozzie’s. We’ve lived nearby for 4 years and never went in. The first thing I realized walking in was the massive menu, so now I’ll have to make a mission out of going down, menu item by menu item, trying it all. There aren’t only sandwiches 🥪 , but burgers 🍔 , hot dogs 🌭 , salads 🥗 , gyros 🥙 , shakes, sundaes, vegan and gluten free options. As you can see in my photos, they put lots and lots of fresh vegetables on your sandwich! Mine was spilling with arugula and grilled portobello mushrooms 🍄! The sauces are homemade and wonderful. My tiger sauce was creamy and tangy! Don’t miss this place, but be sure to order ahead! They have outside homey patio furniture and picnic tables to eat at for a perfect date spot after a walk or bike ride.

Used to love the mango tango salad, but since new management (ownership? Something) took over the quality has really dropped. I thought maybe it was a one off, but after a few chances this just seems to be how it is now. The food is ok but a big step down from what it used to be and today I received pita with mold on it. Pretty disappointing.

1st time here and had the BABLT. It was really good. Parmesan chips were half soggy, half crunchy but had good flavor. Cookie was really good too.

Order arrived sooner than expected 👍🏾 Chips were a bit soggy but good..the burger was huge and full of flavor...when you ask for extra bacon you get extra bacon. 😋 I will definitely be ordering again... I gave four stars because the guy that delivered was not friendly at all and definitely didn’t deserve a tip with his attitude..

I got the Greek burger and Parmesan herb chips. It was a super messy sandwhich, but the flavors were there. This would work better with gyro meat slices instead of big chunks. I called in my order and it was ready when I arrived 20 minutes later. Great place for a quick flavorful lunch.

First time trying Fozzie's and we loved it. We had the Cheese steak, Kids Chicken Tenders with Chips, and Catfish PoBoy. The portions were so large; definitely worth your money. We also got a signature shake which was delicious!

Great sandwich shop usually things or made like you ordered. One of my favorite sandwiches is the Black and Blue. My last two orders were to go. All I will say is my sandwich was good, but they need to find a way to keep the wax paper from pulling all of your cheese off the sandwich. Maybe they should put the cheese on the bottom and not on the top. 😏

Y'all, food was SO MF GOODT!!!!!!!! Went in today and I was so damn impressed by the food, service and ridiculously friendly staff and owners. This place is something really special and an asset to the city and neighborhood for sure!!! Don't miss out on this jewel y'all!!! By far the best BLT that I have ever had! Will most definitely be back ASAP! Worth the trip!! Trust me. Tons of vegan and vegetarian options too, so there's something for everybody! Cheese sauce on the fries was spicy and flavorful and everything was amazing. Try it once and you'll be back🙌🏽🏆🤤🤤🙏🏽🥳😎

Meant to change this for the better a while back. Changed my negative review to positive. Too hard to stay negative, especially with this place. 'One hour for one sandwich. Ran out of chips.' originally - on a busy weekend. So, just poor managing. But, the people are really nice! Generous and the cooks are great and spot on for quality and price. It's so good, while I'd rather not wait an hr, it still is semi-worth it to wait. Just go there, it's worth it. 😋

Moved to the area from Chicago suburbs. Haven’t had a good Italian beef around here until trying Fozzies the provolone has a real Smokey taste and the Gardena is very mild different then I’m used to but very good.

Food is decent. They really push ordering on your phone via a QR code which I find to be a pain. It probably took 3-5 more minutes to order through the website. I much prefer ordering at the counter.

I'm so disappointed, I used to love Fozzie's. They've recently updated their POS/register and maybe they're trying to streamline their menu. But things have gotten really iffy. My previous visit, I ordered the Jackfruit bbq sandwich which I specifically worded "do you have?". After paying and waiting a bit I was informed they were out of it so I subbed for a black bean burger which would've cost less, but I wasn't given the difference back. Now today's trip will probably be my last time here. They've removed the htipiti spread from their menu now too. They don't do milkshakes anymore. And there wasn't any feta on the Gyro we ordered. The food is always good, but they've taken away so many of my favorites it's not worth it. :(

The Italian beefs were great. Even without the au jus that I asked for on the side but didn't receive. The fries were okay, I imagine they would have been better if they were hot. That's on me though not the restaurant. And the salty kisses shake was fantastic.

I just had the most pleasant experience at Fozzie's! I ordered the Club Med which was delicious as always, and my husband ordered the salmon burger (special). I'm not a huge fan of salmon burgers but it was sooo tasty! We also tried the htipiti spread. I think I probably would have preferred the hummus (just a little more relaxed flavor), but my husband just about demolished the whole dip! Everything was so tasty! We also had a brownie and chocolate chip cookie. The customer service was excellent, and the food was delicious and so refreshing. I love how many veggies are in all of their dishes, I always feel full but not disgustingly full like you would with other greasy restaurants. It's been a while since we had visited previously, but we won't be making that mistake again. We'll definitely be back soon!

The food Fozzie's servers is SO GOOD! Like the real deal, fat tasty Blackbean Burgers with actual greens and peppers on them. They also have great thick shakes in fun flavors. Like pumpkin pie all year round, yasss! The Gracey is another favorite of mine. And yo there in house made chips are pretty good too. Like all around great lil food shop!

The food is great, no complaints there! Just from experience, though: I placed an order for curbside delivery. When I called the number provided, I kept getting a busy signal. Eventually I went inside to pick up my order and found that it was ready. (It wasn't even busy inside, either.) Personally, (and I'm not cheap or complaining at all!), I feel that leaving a tip, plus going inside myself to get it defeated the purpose of curbside delivery.

Great food. Gets busy around lunch. Very few tables inside and the dining area is small usually crowded with people in line. There are outside picnic tables. I suggest calling ahead and picking it up, especially around lunch, but sometimes it doesn't matter because you will still have to wait 5-15 min. to get to the cashier. They need a separate line for pickup orders. The food is excellent.

Great local hot sandwich or salad spot, diverse menu of sammiches, burgers, hot dogs, and salads. Today was my first time, and I'll be back. The chicken parm was goooooood, and a good price for it. Wish they had cold wraps, though; any of their salads would be great wrapped in a tortilla for easy eating by hand.

We were huge fans of Angelo's on Lindbergh for a few years. Then they closed about two years ago and we have been looking ever since for a replacement Italian Beef. I think we tried just about every sandwich in the St.Lous area that makes them and none compared..... Until today. Oh. My. God. This will be our new spot when we need that Italian beef fix. Thank you guys so much. It was absolutely amazing.

We moved to St. Louis and got take out from Fozzie's for work and I was hooked. Not only is their menu ridiculously huge but every item on it is delicious. We love getting their shakes regularly (best chocolate shake I've had in quite some time!).

I'm going to give this place a second try. Half of our family loved it and half thought it was only ok. It felt like the sandwiches were assembled using precooked items that were just heated up vs making them on the premises. I'd pass on the catfish sandwich, definitely pulled out of a bag and heated up.

Great sandwich but very small dining area. Plan to take with or eat outside at their tables if the weather suits. Go for the "da dip" sandwich, but be prepared to get messy.

I’ve been to Fozzie’s twice (and had catering at my work) and it is so good! My personal favorite is the Big Tex. It’s probably the best hot dog that I’ve ever had. Indoor seating is a bit cramped, but it is nice to sit outside when the weather is nice. Service is fast, the place is clean, and the food is really good. What more could you ask for?

We were driving thru St Louis and wanted to try something local. We thought the GPS was wrong because we couldn’t find it. Their sign is badly faded. IGNORE THE OUTSIDE. We almost didn’t stop because it looks pretty sketch. But we trusted the reviews and the Sandwiches were amazing! Our family had the Pretzel, Gyro, and Italian Beef. Great portions and delicious. We tried their homemade chips, both Parmesan and BBQ flavors. I thought they were a little stale (prob leftover from lunch) but my family liked them. Definitely would stop again on our way thru the City!

I loved this restaurant the first few years. Something has changed in past few months. The gyro hasn't been consistent with the amount of meat. Most recently I got the chicken parmesan. It was bread, 6-8 generic chicken strips, a lot of sauce and some cheese. My favorite has been the Da Dip. I will give it one more chance

Love this place. Sandwiches are reasonably priced for how huge they are. The menu is varied and it's easy to be vegetarian and eat here. The staff is always polite and the service is quick. My one minor quibble is that the sandwich bread crumbles pretty easily and the sandwiches can get messy. Oh, get a shake. You won't be disappointed.

This place has the best Shrimp po boys, the best single griddle burgers too. Usually semi crowded as many locals love this place. Their prices are UNBELIEVABLY good. So I always tip well so they don’t go out of business. They also grow their own ingredients!! Lettuce, tomatoes etc. it’s so fresh, therefore so good. I always forget to take a picture of my food because I eat it as soon as it arrives. Whoops!! I go here at least twice a week. :/

The food is amazing. They have their own garden out back that they create dishes from seasonally and the head chef comes up with some amazing specials almost weekly. I have been working my way through the menu and have not found a bad sandwich yet. They also have many vegetarian vegan and gluten-free options for those with dietary restrictions. Plus I really like the clever names they have for their food.

Great place for a carryout or delivery. Limited seating inside. Outdoor seating for warm days. I love the fresh vegetables! I believe that they may have the best lettuce in St. Louis. Great burgers, excellent salads and even the hotdogs are great! They have vegetarian entrees, but it's not my style. Yet, I am willing to bed the meals are just as good.

These sandwiches... I can't even handle how delicious they are. I'm telling you right now, the Club Med and the Big Bend Mafia are winners and you need to try them. Go crazy, order both at the same time and devour them. I'm confident everything is delicious and I want to try more sandwiches, but these are already both so good, choosing between just these two is enough challenge for my mealtime. Do yourself a favor and go here. As someone who REALLY loves good sandwiches, this place is top tier.

Fozzie's is definitely a favorite of mine. They have great sandwiches and shakes, there's nothing on the menu I wouldn't recommend. A lot of the produce comes from their on-site garden, and you can tell the difference. My only complaint is that there isn't any nutrition information for any of their food. My favorites are the Italian Beef, the Gyro Burger, and the BABLT.

This place literally never fails me. No matter how I feel, no matter what I get, it’s always delicious, it’s always quick, and it’s always worth the price. The staff is friendly, the outdoor seating is lovely, and it’s great if you need a quick, nutritious, filling bite. My personal favorite item will always be the bacon-wrapped hotdog, mostly because it’s so funny. Super tasty shakes and fresh ingredients from the garden out back.

Such good sandwiches! I get the lamb gyro and while difficult to eat with my hands, a fork and knife work just fine. Their shakes are great too. Update: here for another visit and just need to say that staff arguing with each other in front of customers does not provide for a good experience. It makes me not want to come back. I understand that being a delivery driver is hectic, but really, be professional and save your complaints about other staff for times when there are no customers in the store.

This is definitely a no-frills restaurant. The bathroom was a little iffy and the indoor seating (used by winter visitors, like me) is minimal. It took a while for us to get our food. It appears that many of the patrons of this restaurant order takeout, which is maybe why it took so long for our food to come out; many people came and went with their takeout orders. Something very annoying to me was the fact that everything is served in the kind of hotdog boats you get at a concession stand; flimsy and too small for any of the sandwiches they serve, especially considering how messy they are. It wouldn't hurt them to serve things on reasonably-sized plates, even if they're paper. Apart from these things, I loved the Club Med sandwich. I think goat cheese in sandwiches isn't used enough, and I was happy to eat a sandwich that had goat cheese and tasted excellent. I also ordered the black bean soup to try, and that was significantly less good. I don't know how flavorful the soup is supposed to be, because all I could taste was black pepper. I'm not exaggerating; the pepper overpowered whatever else was in the black bean soup. I could taste the black beans a little, but that was it. I didn't finish this soup because I just wasn't enjoying it. My dad had the BLT and really liked it, saying there was a lot of bacon and it had good flavor. My mom thought her gyro was very good, but the slaw was not good at all and she didn't finish it. I think I will come back to get the Club Med again, but next time I'll do takeout.

If your taste buds are in the mood for a lip smacking knock out your eyeballs sandwich this is the place. Been here a few times and always a good experience. Great sammies that are tasty and reasonably priced. Highly recommend the lamb gyro or BLT.

One of the best sandwich shops in town. They have some really creative sandwiches. Always double-check your order, because they always forget something small, like extra sauces or add-on desert orders. It's not a big deal unless you get them delivered.

I've loved everything I've eaten here for years. Today I brought a guy I work with that is from out of town. He had previously told me that he liked gyros, so I ordered both of us lamb gyros and am order of fresh-made parmesan potato chips. My co-worker absolutely loved it all. He just kept making Mmmmm, Mmm, Mmm sounds. Fresh greens. Fresh crumbled feta in the fresh made sauce. Whole kalamata olives. Fresh pita. And the lamb meat was really juicy but there were also some bits of browned meat mixed in that made it really flavorful. If you order one, I highly recommend eating most of it with a fork at first, because they don't skimp on anything and it's big enough that it's really difficult to just eat it without getting it all over your hands and face. You like gyros? You'll love this one! Sorry....I had already eaten mine before I thought of taking a pic. Next time.

I'm not a vegetarian but I have soooo many dietary restrictions due to health that it is hard to find a place I can actually eat at. I am so grateful that they have healthier veggie options that taste amazing! I love the availability of the wheat pita/buns and great ingredients like arugula which I love. The black bean burger is so good but I'm glad I can make substitutions as well, such as I ordered the It's Gouda but got a black bean burger and a wheat bun instead and it was out of this world. I would never even have heard of this place if it wasnt for my friend Mike but I thank him and this awesome place for being exactly what I needed.

What a fun, little place. While they DO have a couple tables inside, you'd be man-handled by everyone waiting in line. So, I'd suggest you eat outside. (Though I'm curious where diners go in bad weather or when it's really cold) Menu and vibe of the place is fun; lots of different things to try. I opted for the ham/cheese on pretzel bread (I'm picky). It was very good. Burgers looked good, too. And the 'hair of the dog' sounds incredible. I'll be back. :)

Fozzie's Turkey BLT is one of the best sandwiches I've ever had. All the ingredients were fresh. The basil mayo makes the sandwich. The wheat bread was pleasantly neither overly-crusty nor mushy. Decor gets a 2 simply because the interior is uncomfortably small. But ultimately that doesn't matter. You can eat outside at their several picnic tables, or take your sandwich to go. The service wasn't overly friendly, but I can look past that because the whole staff, from the counter service to the kitchen, was efficient and down to business. Especially considering how packed they've been when I have been there. Make it a point to go to Fozzie's!

This place is awesome. Delicious foods and shakes! The Foz-o-licious shake is a little intimidating knowing there is goat cheese in it, but trust me, it is fantastic! The place has VERY limited indoor seating since it is a tiny shop with high popularity, but everything gets packed up nicely so you can take it out to eat. Has a very fun vibe to it, and it is fun to come in the summer and see their garden growing.

They have some of the best sandwiches I've had. The only issue I have is the indoor dining area. It's hot and full of that lovely onion gas that makes you cry like a little baby. The patio is great and under a nice tree next to their garden.

Hands down one of the best spots in St. Louis for a good burger, sandwich, etc. The Juicy Lucy is by far one of the best burgers in The Lou. I would drive 20 minutes out of may to enjoy that burger. Hard the describe the impressive selection of sandwiches, soups, burgers and oh my lord, the absurdly good shakes. This has become my go-to for sandwiches in St Louis, and let me tell you, its a doozie. You can't go wrong with your sandwich choices, hot or cold. And they make a mean potato chip. (Get it with Parmesan for that added joy) Save room for a kid size shake of almost any of the special concoctions, and you'll be in food heaven. Can't recommend this place enough.

It was my first time going there. I had the juicy Lucy burger and it tastes ok. There's really nothing special about it. Their homemade Parmesan chips were stale. I would not eat there again but I would recommend it to others because everyone has a different taste

Fozzies is an amazing place for delicious sandwiches. It is very small inside, so I recommend eating outside or taking your food to go. There are 6 chairs inside and it gets crowded quickly. What a find. Get past the tiny shack, lack of parking, big line, and all outdoor seating because the sandwiches are excellent! I had Da Dip roast beef and my girl got the Club Med chicken. Short version: Fozzie's makes some amazing large sandwiches. Try the chicken parm - you'll love it. Long version: I tried Fozzie's for the first time last week and fell in love immediately. The restaurant doesn't look great (it's in an odd, somewhat-sketchy location; the building also isn't very pretty), but it's clean and cozy. Thankfully, the food is absolutely excellent. The sandwiches are very large and very fresh. They also take WUSTL Bear Bucks, which is great. Give it a shot!

Tried Fozzie's for the first time today. Got a juicy lucy burger. It was overcooked and stuff with garlic cloves, which were extremely overpowering making it inedible. Probably should have tried a sandwich since that seems to be there specialty. Also, witnessed a staff member screaming at a customer who was definitely in the right. A one star experience but will give three stars for now so I can try a sandwich instead!

Excellent cheap (seriously cheap) eats. The po boys and reuben are comfort food at its best. The Greek salad is a decent healthy option. Fozzalicious shake sounds weird (goat cheese?!) but works perfectly - great balance of salty/sweet and the cheese-ice cream mix is actually a really good texture combo.
