Clean clean clean and two amazing dudes run this store. Loved the philly. The bun is fresh and the meat was well done.. everything was perfect here. Highly recommend ! Enjoy.

The chicken was fresh and had a great flavor. The fries were well-seasoned and the Phillies were great. This place has a unique atmosphere, great food, and friendly staff. I think it is a must-try for downtown food, especially if you're looking for some tasty food that has no place in a diet.

Good portions, I was satisfied after the meal. Average Philly Cheesesteak. There were bites here and there that were great, but the seasoning was inconsistent. Not enough onions and peppers. Fries are good, but they're just deep fried and seasoned ole-rida crinkle fries. The seasoning is good, but quite a few of them were grease-soaked, so that's all you tasted. They must've been out of the regular fries.

Great place to pop in and grab a bite. If you want a no frills-classic taste- quick n hot meal, look no further. Philly and fries was perfect and just what I expected. This place is cozy so be prepared to rub shoulders with fellow Sioux Falls diners.

I wanted to like this place, I really did. First... No kids menu. Your luck may vary, my kids would eat the fries and nothing else. Fries.... Up there with 5 guys. Very good. Philly.... I recognize having been to Philly they cheese whiz is an acceptable form of cheese. Problem was the meat was way over-seasoned with a seasoning blend that somehow managed to overpower even the cheese whiz. Whatever seasoning was on the meat was all I managed to get out of the sandwich.

Such a friendly place! You can sit down here for your second visit ever and they guys like... remember you! It's such a warm spot to go to when you need something comfortable to eat and friendly people to be around! Also the owners are amazing people who really care about there guests I wish them well and this is one of those spots I can't say enough nice things to say about them!

Mama's Phillys is a must-try if you are downtown looking for something to eat. The staff is friendly, the food is reasonably priced, and the quality is great. The atmosphere is relaxed and cozy. The store is a bit small and can be reduced to standing room only during the summer, but the wait is well worth it I assure you.

I have very few negative things to say about this place. Before they closed off seating, the interior was a nice little environment. Owners are always very friendly and they know how to make good food real fast. I have yet to eat their chicken, but they easily have the best cheesesteaks i have ever eaten. Prices are about what id expect them to be. You get a decent amout of delicious food, so you get what you pay for. Unfortunately they aren't open in the evening, but considering the small location and the handful of workers, I cant really blame them. If you havent tried Mama's yet, I really can't recommend them enough!

Amazing as always! Such fantastic Philly Cheese steaks! Definitely get the "Swiz" (Swiss and Cheese Wiz)! Friendly staff and so patient and kind to our daughter! Can't wait to go back! My in-laws always request Mama's Phried and Phillys each time they come to town!

I could say the same here that I did of mama's ladas- this is proof that a simple menu is a recipe for success. Get the swizz sandwich. I've not tried the chicken, though I hear it's good. Loved the joint as hamburger inn, but mama's phillies blows it out. My biggest complaint is the hours. I feel like not being open for dinner is a shifty call, though I suspect it's due to size and capacity compared to demand. They're open late for bar close during summer, but I think it would work for them year round. The food is that good.

Can't recommend this place enough! Cheesesteak is excellent, tons of flavor and the perfect amount of meat. Fries are seasoned to perfection. Staff is super friendly and service is quick. Menu is limited but they excel at what they serve. Definitely stop by for lunch!

I really like this place. It's small, smelly, divey, with awesome food. It's perfectly priced with a whole bunch of small-town charm. If you're looking for gourmet don't go here. If you're looking for some of the best fried chicken and Phillys. Then this is your spot.

Amazing Philly cheese steaks can get them with both Swiss and cheez whiz. This is by far the best cheese steak I've had, well cooked and the options of two different types of cheeses to include cheeze whiz is amazing. Guys there are extremely friendly and treat people like they've known them forever. While their hours aren't that wide spreading it's well worth it to make a trip downtown when they are open.

Kind of just wandered in and was PLEASANTLY surprised. Wow. The cheesesteaks were excellent, but the fries were amazing! So crispy on the outside and airy on the inside with a great salt and pepper seasoning. We will come back, for sure!

Good, no frills sandwich. Not quite a true Philly cheese steak because they don't use the chewy Amoroso bread characteristic of the Philly locale sandwiches. Chicken was good, especially if you like the flavor of black pepper which seems to be their twist on their offerings. Interior is like a drug store soda counter, with outdoor seating as well.

This is a small hidden gem in Downtown. Very small and cozy counter top with a very simple and easy menu Phillies or chicken, Philly fries are my favorite beer options available and they take cc. totally recommend

No matter if you are from Philly, or just want to experience an amazing food from Philly without the costly travel. Then head on down to Mama's, you won't get any closer to a true Philly without leaving to the east coast. When you order your Philly you gotta try it with both provolone, and cheese wiz. You will not regret it. Along with my Philly I got some jalapeño cheese balls, just the right amount of heat to cheese, and a nice crispy shell surrounds. So stop on down to Mama's for great company, and the best Philly in the Midwest.

Mama's has an adorable diner experience and terrific waitstaff. My Philly sandwich was scrumptious, fast & hot - be sure to do both cheeses!!! Definitely a goto lunch place. Highly recommend.

This place is so awesome! I don't live here, but I came straight here from the airport for some lunch. The cheesesteaks are fantastic. It's the same people running the grill as every other time I've been here over the past few years. You can tell they're serious about making great food.

Hole in the wall hidden gem!! The food is amazing! I got the Philly with cheese, the lady working reccomed getting it with the nacho cheese too.I’m glad I listened as I highly recommend the extra cheese!! I subbed out my fries for the jalapeño cheese balls which was a move!! Those baby’s were delish. They serve beer which was very tempting but I decided to go with a fresh can of dew. All in all I will be going back to this place as the staff is very welcoming/friendly and the Philly is to die for.
