That about explains it review over... but seriously, I was more than impressed with the level of service and quality of food that reflects Marcus & his wife's dedication to running a thriving family run business in downtown Seattle. If this is what downtown has to offer for its residents, then things are looking up! Highly recommended. 💯

Service: When I walked in the young guy was busy on his phone and didn't acknowledge me until I asked if he worked there (because he had on a t-shirt), he said, “oh ring the bell.” He is the cause for me giving the 4 star review. Overall, the burger was pretty good.

as a vegan i just got fries so i cant say a ton about the food besides decent prices, and it smelled great but the service was amazing. they were running a bit behind and gave us complementary fries and food and were super kind.

Great spot! Tasty late night food and craft beer. Staff was hard working, and kept up even with how busy it was. Food was worth the wait as we enjoyed everything they had to offer. Highly recommend. We were just walk ins on a whim and she made it worth dropping in.

Service was a bit slow even when I ordered online but I will say even though it was slow the food was absolutely worth the wait definitely deserve the 5 star rating and they have a wide verity of sandwiches to satisfy all your appetizer cravings all in one sandwich

First off, the customer service here isn’t the best. The cashier appeared to be high(substance unknown) we told him three times what we wanted and the order still came out wrong. When we asked him for the items missing he had to check the computer to make sure that’s what we ordered. The thing is, there was me and my boyfriend and 1 other person in the restaurant so I was confused as to why he had to verify our order. Again. The food itself isn’t so bad, I had a Philly cheese steak that was… Seattle style. Nothing like you would get on the east coast and nothing like you’d get at an actual cheese steak joint. But it did the job. Would i return here? Mmmm.. if I was drunk and they were the only burger place open aside from the fast food chains yes. Other than that no. This is a late night option not a go to for good quality and service.

The food was real good and had a decent menu for how small they were. The bacon cheeseburger was awesome, the wings, were good and the cheesecake bites were heaven. The staff was friendly and polite I will go back even if they are a little in the ghetto!

This place is tops for a bite ,best burger in the area. The menu is loaded with delicious choices ,but the deep fried dessert's are well done for indulgence. This place is generally open very late, nice after Seattle's unofficial 10p.m. curfew.

Great hole in the wall burger place. Located sub street level, so stairs are a thing. There is an elevator but not sure if or how accessible. Descent menu with a lot of unique choices. Don't worry they have a more traditional side on the menu for the less explorative Burger connoisseur. It was great to have a burger that was juicy and well seasoned instead of a dry piece of cardboard. The appetizers we had were awesome. The chicken fingers are chicken strip size and very good as boneless wings. They have mac'n cheese bites that won't disappoint. A little crunch and a lot of flavor. The same can be said for the fries, lightly seasoned, slight crunch and soft inside. Overall, glad we tried a knew place in Seattle. A definite recommend to anyone looking for a good juicy burger.

Yum on the fried Twinkie! This place was cool. I tried the Fat Shack sandwich. A little bit of everything I wanted. My bf had the classic burger. The sandwich is best when eaten fresh, I ate the other half a few hours later and wasn't as good. I'd like to go back and try another sandwich. Employees were cool, place was clean. Thanks to the employees for following Covid rules and working hard.

The food is crazy combination sandwiches/burgers, fries, fried Twinkies, etc. Mediocre, not the best, though the fried Twinkie was pretty darn tasty while still hot!! What makes this place somewhere you would want to visit again is the man that was working. He did it all: cashier, cook, waiter, etc. Very nice guy.

Walked in for our very first time, not quite knowing WHAT to expect. I looked at the menu on the wall and knew I had walked into the place that was made just for me. Sandwiches fit to fill even the most hungry stoner, or late night snacker. Thomas made us feel right at home, and kept us happy and comfortable the whole time we were there. Highly recommend. Get it.

My friend drug me their the other night. Was so excited to try this place because of all the great reviews I have heard from people . Let me start by sayn the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. They have quiet the menue I must say. Nice lil place. But now it goes down hill .Got just a regular burger and fries. It was by far the blandest burger I had ever had . No flavor at all. The fries were so so . They were out of deep fried oreos.... that was the purpose of the 40 minute trip there. But otherwise it's a nice lil spot

Fat Shack Underground - at the bottom of the steep stairs lies a paradise of fast food goodness. Thank goodness they close after midnight so those who are pub crawling have the ability to add sustenance to their drunken debauchery. Even better! They have a bar as well.

Pretty cool little dive. Low lights, cool vibes, & good food. We got a "standard" sized burger & the munchies variety platter. The burger was a double cheese burger with tomato. Pretty standard. Had the option to add bacon, Mac & cheese, & a few other options. The fries were decent. Sort of lemony. Had the jalapeño honey mustard for dipping sauce. It was really good. Not too spicy, but had a little kick. Variety platter includes onion rings, chicken fingers, mozzarella sticks (with marinara), & deep fried Mac & cheese bites. Mozzarella sticks & chicken weren't anything to brag about. Mac & cheese bites & onion rings were really good. They didn't have any of the bread for their sandwiches so we didn't get a chance to try them this time. Good chill spot with decently priced eats.

The Philly Cheesesteak and fries were top tier late night greasy goodness. The fries really deserve their own line in this review. Crispy and perfectly seasoned. I don't know what sacrifices had to be made for them to hit all of the wickets but it was worth it, whatever "it" was. Beautiful.

I had a shake in my order that didn't get delivered using Uber eats. I contacted the store and they had me talk to the manager (he literally drove all the way to where I was at, to hand deliver the shake). Best customer service I've seen in a while. And to the manager, Thank you!!

Online ordering only - ignore the sign outside that says dining room open. Loved the atmosphere - we would've really enjoyed eating here! Food was good (hamburger was amazing), but small portions and high prices. More than $1 for each mac and cheese bite? They are literally one bite each. And don't bother adding onion rings to your burger. I had to open it up to see if it actually had any on it and I found one solitary small onion ring on it. Definitely not worth $1.75 extra. They didn't give napkins or ketchup, so if you need those you'll have to ask.

Food is amazing. Fast service. The chef (maybe owner?) came out and greeted our table, asked how the food was, thanked us for our business. THEN he started joking with our young daughter, saying "you're looking at me like I owe you money! Do I owe you money?" And he legitimately opened his wallet, and gave her a dollar bill. Might not seem like a lot, but it made her day. Did I mention the food was knock out amazing too? All of the staff as well were very nice and friendly. Great atmosphere. You're definitely getting a one of a kind setting.

Awesome location, in the hidden level under Seattle! It's unfortunate that we visited this place right after the Seahawks game as they were very busy and clearly struggling a bit. The guy taking orders was clearly stressing a little but remained friendly and professional. We waited quite a bit for the food (we got take-out) but that is because they were very busy and so my review does not reflect on that. I got an order of chicken strips and a vanilla shake; the shake was simple and delicious and the same can be said for the chicken! The honey mustard sauce was amazing! My partners meal however was very underwhelming, he got the Fat Shack sandwich which simply had too much on it; the fries on it were cold, you could barely taste the cheesesteak, it was very dry and we're not really sure if it had jalapeno poppers on it. We also didn't receive the fries we ordered but again it was very busy, and we bolted outta there as soon as we got our order, not bothering to check. We would go back 100% if ever in Seattle again to give them a second go (or try a different location), hopefully picking a less busy time!

Food was great! However they are only doing online orders... Which is fine , but their website has online orders shut down so you have to use doordash. I still made my order, I ordered the original burger and cheese fries. The burger was great, fries where okay. My disappointment went to no utensils to eat the cheese fries. It wake it very messy without a fork to use.. Good burger tho, well seasoned and fresh toppings. Cheese fries were okay, could have been cooked a little higher heat and for a little longer.

Ordered the Angus classic, which has double patties. Good flavor, had a bit of spice to it, which was what I liked about it. I was just underwhelmed with how small a double burger is in comparison to the price. However, I am a big eater for meals, so my expectations of quantity may be a bit skewed.

This place is absolute chaos at night. Very Seattle vibe how u immediately have to walk down stairs to actually enter the restaurant. The line was extremely long and so was the wait. A lot of people ordering down there. Felt like a lowkey might lounge but no one was drinking while waiting around. My food turned out tasty. No complaints. Well, the food was trash the next day, which speaks on the quality, but for late night fast food, this is the spot. Even the employees are nice, even while being chewed out for forgetting a chocolate shake. That young manager will go far in life, he handled that situation way better than myself or most people I know.

Big fans of shark tank and saw this was next to our hotel and had to go. It was AMAZING! Best food around and was super filling! The host was great and helped us navigate the menu. We were taken care of so well and will definitely be going back. 10 stars.

This place is LEGIT. My girlfriend and I just moved to Seattle a few months ago and needed a late night place to get our wing fix. We tried their regular buffalo sauce and were not disappointed one bit. They make them fresh so the food is incredibly hot when it comes out. They also have Reese’s Cups milkshakes so yeah, these guys know whats up. Joey, the manager, is also a very cool dude and great with customers. Overall I can say with confidence that we found THE late night food spot in Seattle. Give them a try, you won’t be disappointed! P.S. if you’re going to leave a bad review over Covid, you don’t deserve to review. Make your own food at home. These people work so hard to try and meet our expectations during these times and most restaurants are hardly paying bills. Be a team player and stay at home and follow the CDC guidelines for self isolation if you can’t handle touching a doorknob.

Their whole menu is a little different But they honestly really started because there was no late night eatery places that you could fill yourself up on it was just fast food and quick little bites to eat. Ok… I don’t have a lot of good things to say about this place but first and foremost, the soda fountain and ice dispenser were covered in a green MOLD! 😳 Second, the sandwiches were over priced for what we got but I can understand bc of the pandemic. Vegetarian options were limited but I did order the veggie sub with mozzarella sticks and never received the mozzarella sticks on my sub… I’m giving three stars because the guy behind the counter was friendly, courteous and working very hard to serve a late night crowd.

The food here is amazing. The cheesecake bites desserts are absolutely spectacular. I love their Fat Shack sandwich as well. I was surprised at how well they compress and wrap the sandwiches to go! I was able to take the Fat Shack sandwich large to go and when I went to eat part of it that night and even two days later, I was able to cut it lengthwise so it would re-open and put it in my air fryer at home for a few minutes and it heated right back up and had it's original amazing taste and texture. Wasn't too soggy from the sauce as I would have normally expected! Yum. Definitely try this place out. I hear they deliver as well through common food delivery apps!

First and foremost- this place has a very polite staff. Every other aspect of this experience drops from here. . Significantly . . . ... Lower all expectations- & you will enjoy this much more. The idea of serving carnival food seems cool- when its cooked properly. My sandwich had one patty cooked much longer than the other patty... I had expected them to be the same color... foolish me.... & make sure you directly ask for condiments... The wait time was reasonable and expectedly incorrectly quoted by 10 min. Not that it mattered- as I was positive I wanted to try the food after the last Experience. This is one of my roommates favorite late night places. Not mine... I am not sure if the purchaser knows about premiums items- or they made a lower quality decision for profits. You can taste the difference. Perhaps- by design- they have chosen to be just above fast food in a city of delicatessens.

It was snowing and no restaurant were open and no one was delivering! So I went outside downtown seattle to look for something to eat! Came upon fat shack and let me tell you the FOOD was DELICIOUS! the general manager Joey was super nice and he was the only one working that day! His whole crew called out and he still made it in during a winter storm! I was very satisfied not only with the food but with the service! I definitely recommend it to anyone😊 Going back today when he opens!

I ordered through DoorDash and ordered a single with bacon and no tomatoes. They gave me a burger with 3 patties with tomato and no pickles. Pickles make a burger for me and I tried calling fat shack 4 times and no answer. Their burgers are really good but I’m pretty disappointed that there were tomatoes and no pickles and they didn’t answer the phone after calling 4 times…

I ordered thru Uber Eats, Fat Shack forgot the other portion of my order. I called them and they told me to pick it up myself....or another time, like really I'm at work here in Seattle I can't leave!!! Plus I live DuPont, so they tell me to contact Uber to reimburse me that didn't work because it's not the drivers fault! This was terrible and now I'm out of $15 because their staff forgot to give the driver the other bag. Im mad af cause hell I was hungry and it's money wasted smh!!!

Been here twice, once when they first opened and again recently. The food gets a 5, but the service gets a 1 because lunch waits can be up to an hour and they seem to make a lot of errors with orders. The staff is friendly and works to make sure the customers are happy, but there is still room to grow in the service area.

This place is AMAZING! I thought this sub would be a huge mess to eat and it's not. It's made really well and it tastes like heaven. This is the first time I've tried this place and I have zero regrets. Bless you for making my new favorite food place. 😍 EDIT: Couldn't finish my sandwhich with all the food I ordered last night. I heated it up and am surprised the bread is not soggy the day after. What is this magic?

If you're looking for comfort food and then some this is definitely the place to be. Fat Shack has burgers, fries, wings, philly cheese steaks and more. Only the brave should try "Fat Sandwiches." The customer service was great and they're open late night.

They make there own deep fried twinkies and cheese cake bites. They have a variation of things to eat...if you get high. That is the best munchie meal..I love this place. Fairly price too. The food is great!!!

12/20/19: It's ok. It's nice having another late night option in Pioneer Square. Ordered the Classic burger and the Munchie Madness. Burger is pretty good and I'll order it again. Munchie Madness came with chicken tenders, fried mac and cheese, mozzarella sticks, and onion rings. I'll probably pass on that but the chicken tenders were good. No go on onion rings and fried mac and cheese. Maybe on the mozzarella sticks if they were cooked longer.

Working mere blocks away, when Fat Shack opened I was worried that it would become a regular haunt... alas, my contract position ended and now I won't have the temptation just around the corner. But, when I'm ever in the waterfront/PioSq neighborhood again, I will definitely stop in for a bite. The Cheesesteaks in particular are my favorite. Definitely a great place for late night eats, especially after a game at one of the nearby stadiums. Don't miss it!

Wow! This place has all the tasty late-night food a fat guy like me could want. Wings and boneless—choose your sauce! Burgers up to triple cheese! Onion rings and mozza sticks and a long list of dipping sauces. Idk about you, but we fat peeps love our sauces. #America But the star of the menu is the “fat sandwiches” section from whence you may order sandwich toppings of all those apps I enumerated. If you’ve ever thought, “this fried chicken sandwich could use fries on it,” the Fat Shack is the place for you! My sandwich had chicken fingers, bacon, fries, cheese sauce, ranch, and shredded romaine on a baguette. I got the “regular” size and that sammy was HYUGE! Wash it down with a Diet Coke from the fountain. (Don’t wanna waste any calories on HFCS.) Fat Shack also has deep fried desserts like any Midwestern state fair! Oreos, twinkies, cheesecake bites or chocolate chip cookies, battered, fried, and covered with twinkling angel dust. Ahem, confectioner’s sugar. Which I don’t do. A diabetic has to have some standards. No frivolous sugars! But the best part about Fat Shack in Pioneer Square? You can drop in after a night at the bar and soak up some of that booze with carbs and grease. Or order another drink. Whatevs. You do you, boo. 😚
