Wow! One of the best sandwiches I've ever had. I got the Gouda Smoker, added avocado. Seriously tasty. Fresh ingredients, bread was just lightly toasted, flavors all went together well. I liked the vibe too. Chatted with the owners, who were super friendly and helpful recommending stuff. If you get the lunch deal, the orzo is a good bet for your side. And there's a bunch of different dessert bites to choose from too. Highly recommend!

Ordered her the Vegan Yummy Hummy with Gluten free bread. And wow, it’s hard to get it right and this is amazing. I had the not so sloppy joe with the house pasta side instead of chips. Soooooo yummy!

Their new location is open! It has the same nostalgic, welcoming feeling as their previous space. I loved seeing Robin and her family, and tasting the same great sandwiches. There’s plenty of indoor dining and they’ve extended their hours to 3:00pm. I can’t wait to continue my regular Robin’s Nest tradition. Thanks for great service and sandwiches, as always!

We love Robin's Nest! There's a sandwich for everyone's tastes to include vegetarian, vegan, and they even have gluten free bread!! The staff is amazingly friendly and the food is extremely consistent. Sometimes the wait is a little long during lunch but that's because everyone downtown knows it's good!

The Robin's Nest is a little sandwich shop with plenty of choices. I'm not sure exactly how many sandwiches are on the menu, but I would definitely say it's more than 30. This one is the Gobbler and it's delicious. Everything I have tried there is really good, so you can't go wrong. If you get a combo meal, ditch the chips and get the pasta salad. You won't regret it. The restaurant is small and only has a few tables, so if you plan on dining in, I would avoid going between noon and 1:30 p.m.

This place is a favorite of everyone I work with! It’s owned by the sweetest Italian mom and son. I have Celiacs and I’m lactose intolerant—and I can eat here! They have gluten-free bread and I’ve never gotten sick from eating here. Super cool! You can expect fun themed sandwiches or twists on the classics. For example, there’s “the gobbler”—which is a Thanksgiving-like theme of roasted turkey, avocado, Robin’s special cranberry sauce, and more. I personally love “the roobin”—a pastrami masterpiece (shown with GF bread in my photo, although it doesn’t do it justice)!There’s something for everyone here. And their sandwiches are huge. I LOVE ROBIN’S NEST.

Awesome sandwich shop downtown! Generally busy during lunchtime so plan accordingly. So many great sandwich options and mouth watering dessert pastries. The Gouda smoker was soo good and deserves all the intense customer pressure it can get. The Robins grill was also magical.

So This place came recommended by some coworkers and they always said that it was “good”and “really good.” As a foodie, I am going to have to stop you right there and say that this place is exceedingly under-hyped. The food is beyond exceptional and they by far have the best sandwiches in Utah. It’s seriously no contest. The staff is amazing too. Very charismatic and helpful. Overall, I will be becoming a regular. I had their “ The Natural” sandwich and the soup of the day and I was really blown away by the quality and flavors. Seriously Brava.

The Salsero Chicken sandwich on the toasted chiabatta bun was delicious. Quick service (got in right before the 1pm lunch rush) and the lunch deal is a steal! Half sandwich with side of pasta + cookie and a drink for ~$10. Bargain city. Highly recommend if you're on a business trip or in the city area of SLC. Sad this doesn't exist in Denver.

I love this place and have been coming here for years. Quaint family owned and operated business with excellent customer service. My favorite go to menu item is the “rooster call” sandwich (chicken salad), although everything is delicious. It’s the perfect spot for a perfect lunch.

I had the Heritage sandwich and man, it was fantastic. Perfect balance of flavors, meat ratio compared to the other toppings, and the perfect amount of food. The only flaw I found was the pasta salad. I found it very bland compared to the sandwich. Regardless, I will definitely be back for that sandwich!

Absolutely nothing here disappointed. The snickerdoodle was the best I’ve ever had (don’t tell my grandma) and the sandwich was one of the greatest experiences of my life. Don’t think about it anymore, just go eat.

Everything is good here. They have the best sandwiches I’ve ever had! I get the Gouda sandwich and it’s superb every time. I also love their peanut butter cookie. Lines are long but it’s worth the wait. However, if you’re in a rush this may not be the place to go. You may get turned away because of the wait time, it happened to me on a busy day.

Are you sick of jimmy johns and subway?…. Me too. Don’t waste your time at any other sandwich shop downtown SLC. This joint is a locally owned joint with excellent grub. When I was there, the owner gave me a great recommendation and helped me order. Support local businesses and eat better food. This is a win win. Also they have great gluten free bread.

I love this place so much! I asked once "you sure there isn't a bad sandwich up on the menu"? (Menu has so many sandwiches) I was told in response to my question: " Listen, we've made a lot of bad sandwiches in our day. But NONE of them made it on to that board" That was the best answer I've heard about a restaurant and their menu. I love the rooster call (but no onion).everything is so good and fresh. They have wonderful lemonade too! Seriously the best lemonade. The perfect sweetness to tart. So good. Go give them a try. There hours are funky and hard to learn wish they were open more but what you gonna do

Their sandwiches are always tasty and satisfy any employees so we know we will get good food and service when hosting a meeting. I will always go back there and highly suggest you do too!

This place has some amazing sandwiches! I am a huge fan of the gobbler, I find myself ordering it at least every other time. They also have a nice Orzo pasta that complements the sandwich well. They do a great lunch special that gives you a drink and a mini dessert, this place is perfect for lunch, I just wish they were open on Saturdays! Check the hours before you go, they close before dinner as well.

The food does taste really good, literally the only redeeming quality of this place. The service was poor, I tried to make a selection for the side options provided when purchasing a sandwich, the lady said it’s taken care of. Come to find out they forgot all the sides and dressing for my order. Amazing that places with poor quality service such as this will ask for a tip, makes me think McDonald’s will start doing the same.

A great sandwich shop. High quality ingredients. Friendly staff. I think they've got some great twists on classic and some great house recipes. I really like the orzo pasta side option. It's nothing super special, but the pasta is always cooked right and it's got a nice flavor. My only complaint with Robin's Nest isn't their fault necessarily. They are too popular! It can take a little bit to eat here if you go right at lunch time. But it's always a good sign to see a line out the door of a restaurant.

My favorite sandwich place of all time! Seriously, you are not going to find another place with a better selection of sandwiches. My dad and I have met here for lunch every week for almost a year and the menu hasn’t gotten old. I suggest the Gobbler of you like a good turkey sandwich or The Sink if you like ham sandwiches. Even if you don’t get either of those, you can’t go wrong with any of the sandwiches on the menu.

Very unassuming storefront; if you didn't know about this place you might wonder what is the line out the door for? The line moved quickly and the gentleman taking the orders was very patient and not rushed as many would be with such a long line. The choices were great and there was no attitude when substitutions were request. The prices are very reasonable, the line and service was fast and the sandwich was AWESOME! The bread was fresh, the ingredients were fresh and flavorful. I can not understate how great the flavors were together. Whoever created the sandwiches did a great job and no one flavor overpowered the others. Great job guys!

It was refreshing to go to a restaurant that does things in a very classic way. We went right at the lunchtime rush, and there was a line out the door, but they work quickly and have extremely friendly service. The menu explains exactly what they offer and there are many different options. I look forward to returning and trying other great sandwiches.

Popular lunch spot for a reason! I got the meatball (meat-bomb, I believe it was called), and it was delicious! My wife loved the salad, and the bread stick that came with hers was amazing! It was our one day in the City on our trip, and I always try to do local places, vs Jimmy John's a few doors down ;) We sat and hung out in the corner table and watched the lunch rush die down and just checked out the place. Great establishment :)

I have been going there every Friday since our lunch room closes at 13:00 on Friday's. Just about every time that I have gone there, the line is either out the door or close to. It's always busy, and is wonderfully generating repeat customers. The sandwiches are full and delicious using romaine lettuce instead of iceberg, which is impressive. The soups are wonderful and always savory and rich with flavor. The management offers wonderful customer service and I often see the manager working alongside with her son. They are always kind, warm and makes you want to come back. I definitely recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a good soup and sandwich joint. :)

I read lot of reviews saying employees rude, mean etc. you didn’t realize that’s part of the Brooklyn, NY. Experience. Is everyone the mask police these days? Lighten up we’re talking food here. Probably full the most part it looks good. Rather than destroy this team just go somewhere else. Their staff is probably hard working and someone digging into them just really enhances their day. It’s easy to say leave your attitude and problems at home. You want to go to really good restaurant come to Manhattan and spend about $500 for a steak dinner for four, or go to jack in the box. It’s a diner, maybe some customers have to change their out look

Favorite lunch place downtown. Great variety of unique fresh warm sandwiches accompanied with a perfect sized dessert bite. Only complaint is that they are a little slow. Wish they had room to add another food prep station to speed things up. They lose a bit of business since the lines are long.

Sandwiches are awesome! The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because i went there at noon, and of course, that is their peak time. Even with that they were fast. Very friendly mom/son operation. I will definitely be back!

I am giving this store a 4/5 for a few reasons. I recently used their catering services for 230 people. While the food was fantastic (5/5) the customer service was unexceptional (3/5). Catering was very responsive initially, but as the event day loomed closer, they stopped responding to emails and phone calls. This was highly stressful and concerning as an event coordinator where lunch was uncertain in the days leading up to the event. Next, day of the event, the catering showed up 15 minutes late while our guests waited. Once the company arrived, the catering coordinator mentioned that they "usually don't do events on Saturdays" and that he "expected we tip his deliverers." I found these comments unprofessional and inappropriate, especially when the date had been given months in advance and this issue could've been solved easily before. As mentioned previously, their food is the saving grace. Their flexibility with dietary restrictions was very helpful, and we enjoyed the wide variety of catered sandwich options. The boxed lunch was a good value for the price, which may somewhat make up for the lack of communication from the company.

The order was ready on time and they helped us load the boxes. The Robins Nest employees were great to work with; they provided outstanding customer service to us. We'll order from them as often as possible!

Amazing sandwiches, service and price. Not surprised this place is packed at lunch. They are doing more that just adding meat to bread and seem to serve up sandwiches at a fairly fast pace. And not just sandwiches, your meal comes with a side of orzo salad and one of the best cookies ever, salted carmel chocolate chip. I love when a deli plays with flavor combinations and nails it. For example the oink aloha with Black Forest ham, cheese and pineapple salsa. Don't worry purists they have plenty of classics with an Italian, blt and club.

You can't go wrong with a lunch special at The Robin's Nest. A full tasty sandwich on fresh bread, the orzco pasta was really unique and delicious or you can get chips, plus you can pick a dessert and get a drink all for $10. Service was great and everyone was friendly. It is a pretty small joint and the line went out the door, but the line moved pretty quickly and most people took their order to go. Lots of variety as well. Definitely earned a repeat customer.

I work downtown and have tried every sandwich within walking distance and the sandwiches at Robin's Nest are easily the best. My favorite has actually been the Natural (veggie sandwich) with avocado. Unbeatable. The desserts are great too, especially the white chocolate chip cookie with cherry. Be sure to get the orzo pasta on the side. It can be busy and slower at peak lunch times though.

Great spot for lunch if you get there before the crowd. Otherwise the wait is prohibitive. The founder is my personal favorite, but I haven't been disappointed in any of the sandwiches I've had. Orzo salad is delicious.

This is my absolute favorite sandwich place in the US. I travel a lot, so it's not like I haven't seen my share of sandwiches... Whenever I travel to SLC, I actually book my appointments so end up downtown at lunch time - yes, its that good. I always go for "the Natural" as my go-to sandwich there. It's not that its BIG (it's actually just an average size) that makes it special. Its everything they put on it. I can't imagine any improvements...

this place is awesome. The food is always good. I finally got to try the Rooster Call(aka chicken salad) WOW. so good, also have had the Gobbler (turkey/cranberry, etc) and the French dip(goes by another name) and that is probably my favorite. Amazing rice crispie treat dessert. Only complaint is its a bit pricey(but you def get your moneys worth) and its cramped in their tiny location. otherwise, HIGHLY recommend.

There's a reason there's a wait anytime you come in between 11 and 1:30—Robin's Nest is delicious (and worth waiting for). Everyone is friendly, and helpful. No matter which sandwich you get (and I haven't had a bad one yet), I highly recommend getting the orzo pasta on the side. The desserts are great as well.

BEST FRENCH DIP EVER!! Seriously. Go here and get the big Dipper. It's the most tender roast beef cooked to perfection. Everything else is really good too. I don't drink coffee but I hear their coffee is amazing as well. Lunch only place. Worth every penny and more

A broad selection of great sandwiches. My favorites (in order) are the Gouda Smoker, Robin's Grill, New Yorker, Cowboy. For lunch I try to go before 1130 because it gets busy. Also there's a trax stop across the street which is convenient.

The bread was great as was the staff. I had "The Madam" minus ranch and bacon. Owner offered to replace the bacon with avocado at no charge and swapped mayo for the ranch.The Brownie I had was very good too. Wish there was one in PA!

If I could give 4.75, I would. The son and mom own it and it's homebred touch was apparent in the food but still had a very professional look and process. Sandwiches, soups and desserts. I can vouch for the desserts and sandwiches. Can't go wrong. I had the Yummy Hummy (vegan) and my girlfriend got The Natural (vegetarian) (we went halvsies). Mine was very clean and fresh in both flavor, texture and appearance. Her's had a bit of spice, like pepper jack and roasted red pepper, to it with a zingyness to the garlic spread. Very tasty and good texture balance. My .25 deduction was for the delicious homemade hummus 😁. It's missing something if it's going to be used as a condiment. Needs some zingy, zesty pepperiness, pesto-esqueness or something. I dunno, I'm not the chef but the sandwich called for somethin. But still better than not having hummus, no doubt.

It is easy to see why this place is so popular, the food is SO good, the service is personable and it doesn't break the bank. If you come during peak hours be prepared to wait a minute to order, but it IS worth the wait. So glad I tried this place today and I will definitely be back

You can't go wrong at The Robin's Nest! Every item on the menu is delicious. I recommend the C.O.B.A.L.T. sandwich. Go during lunch hours to get a great deal with the lunch special.

I tipped these guys really well and I mentioned it to an employee, only to find out he hardly (if at all) gets any of the tip money. I thought tip jars were for the people doing the actual work for your food/service. Hopefully they wise up and treat their employees with the tips they deserve. Otherwise, great place!

I love the Robin's Nest. The sandwiches are fresh and delicious. It's best to come early for lunch they get pretty busy. I try and head over at about 11. My favorite sandwiches are the The Roobin, The Big Dipper, and The Oinkity Doink. The Roobin is a fun play on a good old Ruben sandwich. I am always on the look out for a good Ruben and this is one of the best! The big dipper is savory French dip. I love the Oinkity Doink but mostly because of its fun name. :) If your in the area don't pass up the opportunity to grab a quick bite at the Robin's Nest.
