In regards to the food I’m going to let my photo do the heavy lifting that my words cannot. I ordered the BLOT and it was divine. Absolutely one of a kind and filled with amazing flavor. The pickled tomato and pepper Mayo add so much richness. Just the perfect sandwich. Awesome people running the show. Taylor is great. It’s just such a cool vibe and I want to go back asap to try the whole menu. Go now!

The B.L.O.T. was delicious! It had a nice balance of fattiness and tanginess. The bacon on it was tough and difficult to bite through, almost like it was dry/old? Were it not for that the sandwich would be a 5/5. Hopefully it was an off day. The Merguez burger was flavorful but a little dense/tough. Not as tender as I prefer my beef burgers to be. I'll definitely be back to try other sandwiches!

This new sandwich shop in Woodbine Food Hall in Salt Lake City is legit my new go to sandwich place up here! I had their Grilled Kimcheese last week and I’m still dreaming about it (spaced on taking a picture because I didn’t even take a breath between bites so made sure I got a pic the second time around). I’ll also say if you aren’t usually a kimchi person, don’t let that ingredient scare you because it’s delicious. Today, I had the B.L.O.T. and was equally impressed with that sandwich. The Hot Philly Pork tastes like a classic american meal wrapped into a sandwich with a spicy twist (there is some actual spice so if you’re a spice person, get this and if you’re not just ask for the chili oil on the side). Truly doesn’t seem like you can go wrong with the food here. The atmosphere is casual, clean, and spacious. Plenty of sitting options and the staff were professional, helpful, and friendly. Absolutely recommend this place and can’t wait to be back for another grilled kimcheese.

Crazy good! Had the Oh Schnitzel! It was maybe the most unique and tastiest sandwich I've ever had. The dessert was top notch as well! Definitely will be going back.

This is hands-down the best sandwich spot I have been to. My husband and I shared the grilled kimcheese and the meatless ball sub (sorry if I got the names slightly wrong) and we were both absolutely blown away at how great they were. If you’re anywhere near Salt Lake City and anything close to hungry, do yourself a favor and visit these guys! Can’t wait to go back.

The Deadpan sandwich menu is *bold* from top to bottom. I personally loved it, but this is not the place to get a standard ham and swiss or turkey w/provelone (so check the menu online to see what's available).

Was excited to check out Woodbine food hall, and was not disappointed! The schnitzel sandwich from Deadpan was freaking delightful. Took me right back to the streets of Vienna! Paired it with a Kiitos salt and pickle ale, and it was truly a perfect meal. Highly recommend that sammie, and the staff were super fast, helpful, and nice as well. We will be back to try the other menu items very soon!

deadpan is one of those places where you can rave & rave about it, but you truly will never know how amazing it is until you’ve tried it! i personally have had 5 menu items & have been blown away each time. hard to pick a favorite bUT a lamb burger?? c’mon. if you’re a first timer i’d recommend the merguez burger. if you’re vegetarian the grilled kimcheese is excellent!

I’ve had every sandwich on the menu which i believes entitles me to a thoughtful review. The lamb burger is as good as it gets… where else could you even think about getting a lamb burger?!? Also, i was skeptical about a meat-less meatball sub but holy cow it was so good! Nothing on this menu is not a 5/5. Good job. Another star in SLC
