We love coming to the Sugar House location. The service is great and food is even better. We appreciate how clean they try to keep it and the friendly staff. They also have high chairs for toddlers & nicely spaced tables & seating areas for easy access as well. My personal favorite is the Houdini paired with some rosemary fries! Can’t beat a good burger & fries. I also enjoy the Cockle-Doodle-Doo with some sweet potato fries!

Note: shortstaffed at the moment, please be patient. Tables/benches had small insects, food crumbs on the floor. Ordered at around 8p.m. Disliked that the menu was far from the register, kept having to go back and forth! The restaurant is accommodating to Dairy/Gluten allergies. We were thankful they could substitute items and remove ingredients for us. Beet salad was great w/out the cheese. The Gypsy burger was too well done, but still tasty and great 👍. Must try the sweet potato fries with fry sauce!

Cubby’s is always a solid choice for lunch...or any meal for that matter. I’ve had their breakfast in several occasions and really liked it but I think their strengths are in their other offerings. While the biscuits and gravy, breakfast burrito, and French toast are fine, I have to say I really like their salads. The buffalo chicken one is my favorite one so far. You can’t go wrong with the rosemary fries and if you like sweet potatoes I would recommend getting 1/2 and 1/2. If you’re not afraid of adding a few extra calories to your meal be sure to chase it down with their Blueberry Buttermilk Shake! You’ll be glad you did.

The steak salad was amazing!! I feel like good steak is hard to come by these days, this steak was juicy and tender. I got the rosemary fries with the chipotle sauce too because "balance"!!!! Amazing lunch!!

Honestly way more impressed then I thought I would be. The Blender Bowl and HuckleLala we're so flavorful and packed with incredible ingredients! I was blown away by how amazing they tasted and looked. I loved that the blender bowl came with the veggies chilled but the rice was warm underneath. Super good combo. The HuckleLala shake tasted divine and is honestly probably the best shake I've ever had!

Came on a recommendation for their Italian beef sandwich, which I guess they don't sell at this location. The food that we did order was amazing, though, especially the rosemary fries! My partner says this may be their new favorite place.

Food is tasty. I order the wild rice and kale salad (extra dressing) and my husband gets the tri-tip steak sandwich Cali style and we split half and half. Their sweet potato fries are also excellent. Overall really delicious and quality food. Maybe not totally worth the price, but still giving it five stars. We don't go often but when we do we love the food.

I am very impressed with Cubby’s. The staff are friendly and hard working and eager to please. The restaurant is bright and clean. Their salads and sandwiches are fresh and with creative and delicious combinations. The burgers are some of the best I’ve had. Be sure to get the sweet potato fries - even if you think you don’t like sweet potatoes as you will never find them prepared better - especially with the maple dipping sauce. Total game changer. And finally, DO NOT pass up the Rice Krispie treats, mistakingly thinking they are just an ordinary treat that you can get anywhere. These are made with ground vanilla bean and are on a whole new level. Completely blows away the boring standard. Welcome to your new addiction.

We dined in at the Orem, Utah location. I noticed that they had reusable metal baskets being circulated however 90% of our order came out in to-go containers. Seems very wasteful not to mention a waste of money. Although I am happy that the packages were compostable. Unfortunately the utensils were plastic (why compostable packages but not utensils which are really bad for the environment?!). Nothing on their menu was actually vegan so I had to modify my order. It still came out with chicken, haha, cmon you guys. What I did order was very enjoyable though, the potential is there!

Best burger in SLC under $15. I mean that, their Houdini Burger is my go-to burger these days. Simply delicious! They have great salads as well, a little pricey, but worth it. The meat is local and the veggies are organic. If you're into that sort of thing check it out, you won't be disappointed.

La squish hamburger that’s supposed to be “limited” was super good. I got it in a double and added avocado. I almost ordered another but knew it would then defeat me later. The sweet potato fries here are the only ones I’ll eat. Other wise I hate eating sweet potatoes. It was fast, and fresh! Glad I came here tonight for a hamburger that wasn’t basic. Had some love on it.

I ordered the Tri-Tip Steak Salad and a side of Rosemary Fries. HOLY COW it was amazing. The salad was soooo delicious I will definitely order that many more times in the future. I had placed a pretty big order for our office staff and the employees that helped me with this order were great from placing the order on the phone to picking it up! My husband and I have been here several times and we've never been disappointed! Seriously amazing food for a reasonable price. Our favorites are the Gypsy and Dragonslayer burgers, rosemary fries, chipotle fry sauce, and blueberry buttermilk shake. That being said, I've never had anything here I haven't liked. We've tried other locations and this one cooks their burgers the best. 😋

Slightly higher prices compared to other fast food places, but the quality of the food is absolutely worth it. My understanding is that all the food is organic. The place is clean and they are following all covid-19 guidelines from what I can tell. Every other table is kept vacant, saw an employee wiping a table down immediately after some customers got up from their table and left. Definitely will go back to this location again.

Fantastic tri-tip steak sandwich and rosemary fries. I also tried the buttermilk huckleberry shake and wow, it was fantastic! I rarely get fruit shakes but I will definitely be ordering that again. Also, the restaurant had ample seating and a fun ambiance. The workers were friendly, the bathroom was clean, and the dining area was clean as well. I will definitely be returning!

I was on my way home to Las Vegas from Park City when I stopped at Cubby's with my wife and three kids. It was our first time there, but we had heard good things--especially about their fries. Two of my kids ordered the chicken fingers and weren't sure what to think when they came out grilled and not fried. It took some coaxing for them to eat them, but once they tasted them, they were delighted. My wife ordered the "Cockadoodledoo" (chicken sandwich) and loved it. I ordered their famous tri-tip sandwich with all the fixins on it and absolutely LOVED it. This was one of the best sandwiches I've ever had. We also ordered the rosemary fries and buffalo blue cheese fries, which were worth the visit in and of themselves. If you go to Cubby's, expect a cool, clean environment, good vibes and a delicious, new twist in your favorite foods. This place is great.

I hate to say it, but I think Cubby's is going in the wrong direction. When they first opened the shop was clean and inviting with a great menu. Food was hot and tasted really good. However, the last few times I have been to the Sugarhouse location it's been a different story. Tables are dirty, the condiment area needs attention, and the food seems to be on the decline. To be fair, I really liked the Mr. Beef sandwich which has been pulled from the menu. I've tried the tri-tip steak which is all right but the Mr. Beef is better. Their sweet potato fries are tasty as well. However, the last few times they seem to be not nearly as crispy as they used to. I'd still eat here but I think the quality has gone downhill.

Cubby's has delicious food. I usually order the Tri Tip sandwich, but sometimes I just go for a burger. They have an expansive menu with burgers, sandwiches, chicken, and salads. The fries are really good, but their best item? The sweet potato fries with the maple glaze. You won't regret it.

We had a really great lunch here when visiting Salt Lake City. It was really nice inside but we sat outside and had our food brought to us, they have great outdoor seating and the food was super delicious. And just minutes from downtown and lovely parks to walk in. Recommend to anyone visiting SLC!

Good food if somewhat pricey. Have gluten free options and dedicated fryers. I'd gladly give it higher marks but the restaurant tables need to be cleaned more frequently and with a clean rag. Tables lately are sticky and the floor needs sweeping. But like I said the food is good and the cooks have always been helpful and friendly.

The food was delicious but the service was pretty bad. I went in on a really slow Friday morning at around 10:30am. I ordered one breakfast burrito, which was delicious. Really unique mix of ingredients prepared very well. The restaurant itself is nice and open, with lots of light and a great view through the front windows eastwards across highland drive. The service was not good at all, though. They took just under 20 mins to prepare and serve my order and I was offered different menu items three times after declining the first time. Nice, unique place with poor service.

Ya know, I keep giving this place a chance maybe once every year and it just doesn't do anything for me like it does for some people I know. Not to be rude but the cashier today wasn't clean shaven and she didn't seem to listen to what we were ordering. She finally got it right. But then, the time we waited for our food was much longer than expected. I would say easily over 10 minutes. And it tasted just mediocre to me. Sorry but only three stars this round.

Great food but not the best if you want to feel energized. Delicious like lots of unhealthy out-to-eat food. But not great if you want to feel "healified." At least the fries and burgers. I went to the Provo location and didn't remember it being so heavy but maybe I had a salad there or I was able to handle the food better. The fries are awesome though!

This was our first visit to the sugar house location and it was the best experience ever! The food was amazingly delicious! Austin Wells was managing the lobby and was friendly and made sure several times that everything was good with our food and atmosphere. He went above and beyond to make sure our experience was great. We will highly recommend.

5/5 - One of the great things about all Cubby's locations is consistency, and this location is no different. The interior is pretty neat, with plenty of seating and a cool theater nook. The food is pretty great as well. You can't go wrong with a burger or a salad, (or anything else really, there's something for everyone!) and their chipotle fry sauce is incredible. Give it a shot, you won't be disappointed!

Great place for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, the salads are fantastic (Wild rice and kale and the Lemon Chicken are the best). The Tri Tip sandwhich is surprisingly awesome with BBQ sauce and mustard as well. The shakes are great, just dangerous as you will want more.

Bacon bacon bacon. They love bacon at this restaurant. I got the dragon (Bacon burger with blue cheese) and tried the BBQ burger (can't remember the name) and the Kid's grilled cheese. All came with bacon, and it was the good, thick-cut stuff, unlike the fast food places. The BBQ sauce is really good, but not that it's a bit thinner than store-bought stuff so it does soak into the bun and turn it into a squishy mess.

Table was sticky, dirty. The bread was a bit tough (stale?). I had the mustard BBQ tri-tip sandwich, hubby got the sweet BBQ version. I think if you combined them, it'd be the perfect combo. The rosemary fries are fantastic!

Excellent but expensive. The tri-tip is excellent in any sandwich. The burgers usually have sauce that is very different but tasty. Beware of the greens as they can throw off the taste of the burger. The fries are all good.

Cubby's is great! It's a step-above the usual sandwich/soup/salad joint, but still casual. I've never had anything there, that I didn't like. I especially enjoy their burgers. My faces are the Che, and the Dragonslayer.

Slowly going downhill. It's tough. I used to really enjoy Cubby's, but the last few experiences have been mediocre. I left lunch today with four guys from my office and every one of us left feeling underwhelmed by the food for the amount paid. Average ticket was $12-$15, which is fine for a good lunch, but leaves you frustrated when it's mediocre. I think this is a common experience for a lot of people lately. Bummer, because Cubby's has the potential to be great. It feels like they've expanded too fast and the quality has suffered.

Excellent, I notice the Thanksgiving point location, portions are bigger than the Provo one. We go almost every week, quality of food is amazing, clean , sometimes the fries are a little darker than normal, but if you ask them for a new ones, they help right away.

Cubby's has the second best burger I can pay someone else to make for me. (The first being Lucky 13 in Salt Lake City). The burgers are delicious (I like the Dragonslayer)! The fries are delicious (I like the buffalo sauce fries). The salads are awesome (so my wife tells me). They even have good soda options. The only drawback is how crowded it can get. So come early and often!

Cubby's is pretty consistent across their locations. I like that this location has easy underground parking that they validate. My go-to orders are the dragonslayer + rosemary fries or the tri-tip steak salad. I've liked almost everything I tried though. I recommend getting food to go and having a picnic in the nearby sugarhouse park.

WOW. So this is truly the BEST restaurant for a split relationship (one person wants massive burger and the other wants cute little salad, or however your relationship works). My wife and I love to go here because of the different types of options you have. You want a big honky tonk burger? Get the Che Burger. I am forever converted to it. It has bacon, bbq sauce, and a bunch of other stuff I cant remember at the moment. Want a healthy option? The Black Bean Burger. It's legit amazing. I'm not one to EVER get a substitute for meat for a vegetarian burger but DANG. I was really quite impressed. (Their gluten free bun was good too). Need a side? Buffalo fries and the sweet potato fries are our "Go-to" extra. If you like buffalo sauce and messy stuff then I'd for sure get the buffalo fries (my fav). If I'm being honest, I'd probably eat here every other day but because of monetary barriers, I have to suffice to every once in a while. GO.

Casual sit down. The meat is the reason you come here. Cubby's always has fresh patties and from quality ground Chuck. Their variations on burgers are delicious--the Houdini and the Gypsy are go-to's for me. Watch out for the Wasabi Burger, though... They piled the sauce on too thick, and it was like eating wasabi with a side of burger instead of the other way around. Salads are amazing, and don't forget the rosemary fries. All in all, I have generally had a solid meal every time I come here.

Excellent Veg Burger, Black Bean n Quinoa. Thank you for having grilled chicken for kids and not fried. The vegan key lime was excellent, only made with coconut cream and maple syrup! I will come again!

This place is amazing great prices great food always cooked to perfection and I would always recommend this place to everyone. The only reason why I will not give 5 stars is because without fail when I ask for my condiments on the side so by the time I get home it's not soggy they always forget whether it's a new person or an old person that's been there since the beginning when I ask for my stuff on the side they always fail. Not too big of a deal but when I spend that amount of money I want to get it the way I want it but definitely go to this place.

Delicious, fresh food. I came here for lunch and left feeling satisfied. I got the Cockadoodledoo Sandwich with Rosemary and Pepper fries and a quinoa salad. The sandwich was amazing, just the right thickness of chicken and a great bun. The fries were okay, but I couldn't really taste the rosemary or the pepper. The quinoa salad was good, but a little heavy on the red onion which overpowered the other flavors.

Dragonslayer is a great burger. They have Maple syrup sweet potato fries that are delicious. The underground parking can be validated with purchase. They have a good truck, but their full menu is available in their restaurants. Their beef is delicious and is probably one of the things that makes their burgers so good.

Cubby’s I love you! But why is your service always SO slow? I usually get takeout- dressing is sometimes forgotten, and a few times orders were simply missed in the queue. Typically wait is 20-30, not 10-15 as they say.

I am from Chicago so I know Italian Beef sandwiches. This one was very oily and didn't have a payoff in flavor. I did enjoy the buffalo blue fries but once they cooled down, they went bad very fast.

Cubbys is trendy and delicious. I feel cool there, especially while downing a dragonslayer burger. I was living in Provo when the very first Cubby's was built. Unfortunately, with the expansion of the restaurant, the quality has dropped slightly. Food is still awesome tho.

I thought the food was really good and justified what others say is too high of a price. Place is clean and service was pretty quick. I always look for friendly staff; here they seemed a bit apathetic toward our presence, although that might have been because we walked in right before closing. Nonetheless it was a good experience.
