Coffees, Soups, salads and pasta, served in a big open restaurant! Drinks are self serve, and specialty coffees take a while to make lol! When you’re done eating, enjoy some muffins, big cookies or a brownie. The blueberry muffins and cinnamon crumble sell out early!

i hat the uptown turkey avocado sandwich. The sandwich was good, great turkey, friendly service but almost zero avocado. Eleven dollars for a cold sandwich, i can accept that, except for the fact that the avocado was the selling point for my choice of sandwich! see picture.

I ordered a pick two with a chicken pomodori and the chicken orzo, both of which were really yummy. However, I got the garlic bread as a side and it was absolutely burnt black. It was a little frustrating because I feel like they took advantage of it being a to-go order so they could pawn of a mistake.

Was in the area and needed lunch so popped in here. The panni and soup were both filling and flavorful. The items were also visually appealing too. The staff was very kind and responsive. Definitely would stop by again to try something different on the menu, or maybe the same - that Tuscan panni and tomato soup was so good!

I went to Corner Bakery for lunch. There were many choices on their lunch menu. I wanted to get something healthy, so I decided to try the Power Greens & Grains Salad.⁣⁣ it was a good choice. ⁣⁣ It was the perfect blend of baby kale, arugula, spinach, ancient grains, chickpeas, cucumber, oven-roasted tomato, and honey balsamic vinaigrette. ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ The salad was really good, and filling. I wouldn’t add more than one container of the honey balsamic vinaigrette as it’s on the sweeter side. That container packs a lot of salad, but don’t be fooled! It is still calorically dense due to the chickpeas and other ingredients. If you’re watching your calories, be sure to check out their website for details. Otherwise, it was satiating and delicious. I’ll definitely try their other salads. ⁣⁣

When you walk through the doors, you are hit with the fresh baked smell of pastries and delightful foods! You walk to your right and they have a counter to your left of yummy goodies to buy! All fresh! Once you have ordered they give you a number and you can stay and eat or wait for it then leave. I stayed and had an amazing experience, I enjoyed the fact that they bring you your food and leave you be, and you don't have that awkward moment of a mouth full of food as they ask, "how's everything taste", they don't do that here because they know it's awesome!! Great atmosphere and wonderful customer service!! Can't wait to bring some family and friends for lunch date here!!

Came here for a work lunch meeting. The line was out the door (apparently they were short-staffed), but the service once we got to the counter was impeccable. He took the time to check and make sure my meal was gluten-free when I told him I had an allergy, rather than just "assume" it was. I got the shrimp power salad (minus the croutons). The hibiscus lemonade was super delicious and paired well with the freshness of the salad.

I can't really fault anyone because the mistake got rectified but had to try a little harder to get my order correct, being that I ordered a different side and was clear about not wanting any cheese in my meal. I asked twice and I got my fruit bowl after. And it was a little confusing how to get my lemonade. Imo the portions aren't huge but it's healthy and I enjoyed it.

I got their chicken carbonara and chicken pomodori panini and the lemon bar. I consider myself a lemon bar officianado at this point as I try them everywhere I see them. The crust was a little hard to chew but the lemon was so crisp and flavorful. Overall an 8/10. The pomodori was so packed with flavor, I just about died. I will definitely try that one again. Finally, the carbonara was amazing! All the ingredients worked together so well and made a simply delicious dish without the need for additional seasoning. Check this place out, small but amazing food!

The food was pretty good. Unfortunately, I think they were short staffed. They were all working hard though, and the guests were patient. I had soup, salad, and 1/2 sandwich. The bread was good and fresh. The sandwich, turkey & avocado, was great! The salad was mostly arugula but had great dressing. I had a cup of potato bacon soup. So filling, and almost too much with everything else. My boytoy bought me a cheesecake brownie, which I had to take with me. It was a little dry on the edges, but still a yummy brownie. Just not as good as what I make at home. A good meal. But, pricey. Not a place for big families. The seating was filled with adults, professionals. We sat out on the patio. Some of the tables had table coverings. Ours did not, although I wish it did. Pretty much all the tables were in shade. I'm not disappointed with this experience at all. Nice and close to Red Butte Gardens.

What great people. We had a bit of a situation on her hands. We had a large graduation cake that we needed to find a place to store while we went to a graduation. These kind people let us put it on one of their pickup shelves. It completely saved the cake. It would have been a melted mess in the car and it was much too heavy to carry all the way over to the ceremony. I've also had their food here, and it's delicious. Great food and great people.

Cute interior and friendly staff. I had a pasta entree but some of the meats were still frozen. I think this place is better for a quick bite or if you just want to seat while savoring a dessert.

Looks pretty good. The muffins were good, but the cinnamon roll was not. It had a kind of biscuit or quick bread quality rather than a nice light yeasted roll. There price of everything was a bit high, which is okay if the quality merits it; I'm not convinced it does. I'm willing to try some other menu items, but they have not won me over.

The food here is good. I’m more impressed with the staff who are constantly working hard. For what it’s worth, I’d be happy to take my used dishes to a central place in the restaurant. I think that expecting the staff to collect used dishes from tables, in addition to their other responsibilities, is a bit much. This would also free up space for customers waiting for a table.

They were so kind to me. I had no idea they closed early. With 10. Mins until closing, they made an order to go for me and my son who rarely get to eat out. The cook still made made my food with care and it was delicious. The employee at the register was so patient and sweet The last employee who came out to clean was so nice and let us sit and enjoy our food. It's so nice to be treated kindly. I LOVE the sign making sure customers remember that employees are people too. We enjoyed ourselves. Thank you so much

The food was delicious! We sat down inside to cool down on a hot day while riding bikes in the area. I got the BBLT and my wife got the Chicken Pomodoro. We also shared a Cesar Salad. Everything was delicious! The service was super fast too. It was a really good, reasonably priced lunch. We will definitely be back!

I needed to celebrate after making it through 35 minutes in a MRI tube at the Huntsman, so had to stop at the Corner Bakery for a Chicken Pomodori Panini and a chocolate brownie! Great as always!

The salads was great. Everything was super fresh and delicious. The one disappointment was that we ordered tomato soup to go (dinner when we got back to Idaho) and they put the croutons in the soup. By the time we got to it they were mushy and not very appealing. Plus it changed the soup just enough to make me question whether I would order it again

You know I love the Corner Bakery, but this one is just annoying to go to because it's always busy. Yes, I know it's because it's basically on the U campus. I get that. But ordering online for pickup is definitely a must for this location. Plus, they have an app! So at least they make it easy.

I tried to do curbside pick up. I ordered online, waited for my time, pulled in and called the number. The phone rang and rang. I finally went in and waited because I was not sure where to go. The line took forever and when I got to the front, the young man pointed me where to go. No " Hello" or " Have a nice day. " I am usually pretty understanding of situations due to the fact I own a business that deals with customer service, but this was not a good experience. Also, my salad was tiny and had 5 thin slices of grilled chicken on it. The price did not equal the quality or hassle of receiving my food.

I work in the catering department, and although my last job had slightly lower standards than most, I’m impressed with how much effort the Corner Bakery will put into portions, and they’re pretty sizable as well! You’re getting exactly what’s on the picture! It’s been rough adjusting to the post-COVID world, but they still kept everything clean and exact. They have a killer management team that definitely will take care of their restaurant and customers. Very blessed to be a part of the team. The food is also delicious, as a lot of customers have said. I found it very comforting in these times that along with the good food, the back of house is well taken care of.

The odd part was when we pulled in and called the number listed on their pick up sign...the receiver of the call was not friendly and a bit rude. They were upset they had to do a curbside pick up. Most of the restaurants in or near Reaearch park close early. I was pleased to find the Corner Bakery Cafe open when the others were closed. Service was quick and the food was good. The salad came with its dressing on the side, which was a nice touch. The toughest part was having to circle around on a street to the north to get into and out of their parking.

Great environment, great prices, great food! I ordered the pick two with a side salad as well (which their house vinaigrette was spot on) The chicken pomodori panini was amazing and the mac and cheese had plenty of sauce (super creamy and cheesy)! If we are ever in the area again I will definitely eat there!

This location has a great socially-distanced outdoor dining patio. Manager made sure to direct the new employee helping us that kids eat free with entree purchase on our Monday evening visit (saved us $5!). Unsure of other times this is the case. Food did take a while to come out but it was fresh. My daughter was able to get pancakes. Limited breakfast available all day with a few exceptions like potatoes and oatmeal.

I work nearby, so I'm usually there during the lunch hour rush. The service is always quick and I've always gotten exactly what I ordered. You can easily get here, order, and eat in less than an hour - even when it's busy. Parking can be difficult sometimes. Outdoor patio is great in the summer! Love that they let you bring your own reusable drink cup to fill your drink (they'll charge you for a small/reg drink).

Great customer service! I ordered a meal to eat there but knew I wouldn’t finish it, so I asked if they would do a half order or pack up the other half to-go. The cashier was beyond helpful and said she would take care of me! She made it happen. Shortly after, another friendly employee delivered my food and we engaged in a short, sweet conversation. I usually come here for breakfast but the lunch was satisfying. I got one of the panini sandwiches and cup of soup. The portions were perfect and k could have taken a half Danica home, but it was so flavorful I ended up finishing the whole thing off! Definitely coming back for lunch again!!

Wonderful environment and excellent food! They serve all day and have a great selection of choices on the menu. There breakfast is absolutely amazing. If you are in the area for breakfast definitely stop in and give it a try! The place has a ton of seating and it's nice to hang out for a little while and chat after eating.

This was a nice place to stop and work for a while. I probably came at the wrong time because it was right around lunch and it was completely packed with the exception of a couple of tables in the back and outside. But overall, I had a pleasant experience, the Wi-Fi was quick and easy to connect to. And nobody really bothered me.

They make a killer BLT. Heavy on the bacon and with good lettuce. I prefer it on wheat with regular mayo rather than the aoili they usually put on it. My old favorite was the egg salad but they don't have it anymore. The chicken soup is pretty good. Nice place for lunch with friends or alone with a book. The people have always been nice too.

Words cannot accurately describe the love I have for this place. The food is spectacular, yes, but the service is the kind of one-in-a-million service you can only wish for. At a recent mix up with our catering order, they did not even hesitate to do everything in their power to fix it. Our fantastic delivery girl was completely on top of everything, and made sure we were all completely satisfied before leaving. My utmost gratitude to our lovely delivery girl and the team at Corner Bakery for making sure our company got exactly what we needed! Thank you!!

Decent food, friendly staff, and clean. However it’s a bit overpriced. I can go else where and get the same items with the same quality if not better for less. The servers need to pay attention better, maybe it was a bad day, which we all have, but I shouldn’t have to send back an order twice to get the right one I ordered from the beginning. I really would like to recommend this place because it does have the potential to be really good. But right now I would recommend going somewhere else.

This is the first time I have ever been to the Corner Bakery Cafe. There is a great selection of items on the menu and the staff are very friendly. The items are slightly higher priced than I would expect. I ordered a Turkey panini, a commuter sandwich, two drinks and a cup of soup. The soup was very flavorful but the rest was very bland and made me feel like I should have gone home to make the same food for cheaper. It was a great experience but wish there was more flavor to the food for the price you are paying.

They have the best cheddar broccoli soup! And the chocolate muffins are seriously like heaven on earth!! Now, one of my problems with this place is they can leave things out of your order, so make sure if you're getting a To-Go order, check it before you leave. Muffins after 2pm are 1/2 price which is the best time to get them really all of them are good. Salads, esp. the Caesar, are great. Sandwiches are good. Their pastas are great. You pretty much can't go wrong at CBC, but they are pricey.

I like every Corner Bakery I've visited; this one is no different. The atmosphere is very welcoming and pleasant. The staff is very friendly. I love the food and the coffee. Today I got a stack of pancakes. They make some of the best pancakes I've ever had eating out.

Really good sandwich, salad, soup, and more place. I don't usually give five star reviews to chains, but everything I have had here is really good. The menu choices and number of options is fantastic. My favorites are the mac and cheese with bacon, uptown turkey, and the club panini with a side of cesar salad. Sadly they dropped the meatball panini from the menu. I haven't tried much of their baked goods but they look great.

This place is great for a nutritional and deliciously different spin on traditional breakfast. Adding grains and greens to scrambled eggs not only made me feel I was eating healthily, but it was delicious. I recommend the Corner Bakery for breakfast if you want to try something unique!

My parents and I went to the Corner Bakery, we met up with my sister, Daughter in Law and my two grandchildren. They had just visited The Hogle Zoo. We haven't gone out much ever since The Virus came upon us in March. I love The Corner Bakery, it's close to home, everything there is prepared at the time of service, the selection of pasteries and goodies in the display are fresh and clearly marked. The workers there where obeying safety protocols, traffic in the place was scarce! What a shame! It was so nice our food was very tasty, seeing my family together again was so nice. Glad you were open.

My wife and I used to visit occasionally and we always loved the food. The most recent visit felt like the food had been sitting under a heat lamp for a while and it still took about 10 minutes to get to us. It was dried out and not very appealing. It may have just been an off day. We will probably try it again but it was a that's enough experience to have us change our tradition of stopping there.

Good is wonderful but this place is very, very busy every time I have been here the line to order food has been at the door or overflowing outside. It can also be hard to find a seat. There is 1 spot in the seating area that is good for disability seating but there is no seating designated as disability seating. Because of the crowds it can be very loud inside.

1.99 up charge for their idea of a fruit “medley” was 4 or 5 cubes of cantaloupe and a single pineapple chunk for variety. Panini was more like a sandwich with nearly burnt bread than a pressed sandwich. Other than that vibe was okay and service was kind.

I absolutely love this place. I go there for lunch everyday. They have really delicious food, huge quantities for cheap price and extremely friendly staff. Their desserts are worth dying for and don't even get me started on the coffee. Literally, the best iced lattes in the world.

I really enjoy dining at this Corner Bakery on Foothill Drive. Great menu options: salads, sandwiches, soups, pasta dishes, and breakfast options earlier in the day. Of course, there are always great dessert options as well - my personal favorite is lemon bars. The Choose Two for $8.99 is a fabulous deal! And the Shrimp Scampi Linguini is excellent! A good place to dine before U of U games or other events on campus.

Just needed two take-out salads for a friend in a near-by hospital. A little difficult to find parking - there's not enough spaces there. Placed the order for Harvest Salad and Spinach Sweet Crisp. Waited 10 minutes to get order - which was brought to me bagged and ready to go! At the hospital we found everything we needed in the bag - napkins, forks, extra dressing and small crackers. Salads were delicious and I plan to do that again!

Ok! It's an excellent bakery and a good Cafe. My wife and I eat there at least once a week. Counter service (usually carry-out fresh bread and pastry for us) is always fresh and eating-in is high quality and efficient. I've never been disappointed with a meal there and it is our only destination for paistries. (I would give it 4 stars instead of 5 only because my favorite waitress hasn't given me a kiss yet!)

Food is fine, but a little basic. For example you can only have your eggs scrambled. I did like the steel cut oats. It is, however, a good place to work on a laptop. There are quite a lot of tables, so as long as they're not busy you are not in the way.

The manager here is a good honest man! He is always at this location making sure quality is top notch. They offer really tasty sandwiches and the breakfast is delicious. I eat at all 6 locations. One of my personal favorites! Nice environment with fun music playing in the background. Polite staff members. Yum!

Not great but not terrible. It was a little busy at noon as expected but plenty of open tables. It took 10 min for the food to come out but I wasn’t necessarily in a hurry. Unfortunately the food wasn’t stellar. The panini had sat on my plate for long enough for the plate side to become soggy. The meatballs were tough and a little dried out. Not really impressed and would probably choose another option next time.

I was only there for a couple minutes. I got the avocado, spinach, and egg flat. I got it to go. It was missing the avocado. I requested no cheese. They did leave the cheese off though. Quality and taste was good. The salsa for the flat was great. My Chia tea was great as well. Service was good. I'll be back.

They didn't have the delicious bakery that I was expecting them to have. My son didn't like the place or their food. A lot of people do like the place because it was full. I didn't find it comfortable, friendly, cozy. I found the food insipid. We only went once and I don't look forward to returning.

I ordered the salad and soup combo and tea -$13.00. The potato soup is always good! However, the Turkey Avocado Cobb salad was not. I asked for no tomatoes. They clearly added them and tried to pick them off as an after thought. Tom juice and seeds, along with small remnants throughout the lettuce. The large, extra large, lettuce pieces that I could not manage made me angry—personal problem I suppose. There was also one large piece of turkey that I had to break up myself in order to eat. Blue cheese was ample though! Seriously. I love blue cheese, that was too much, even for me. Maybe it is considered an avocado substitute, cause I couldn’t find any of those? FYI your bread is Sooooooo hard. I dug out the middle and ate that. And just for giggles... I was asked If I wanted ice in my iced tea, but, I had to ask for a fork to eat with!!! Your location is hard to get into and it’s not worth the u-turn.

My daughter is vegetarian and sometimes that can be a problem but not at this Cafe. They are very accommodating and their meal sizes are perfect and their staff friendly and helpful. I use to go here for Great Coffee, but alas I have quit coffee, sad. Do not let that stop you, if you like, to grab a hot cup of Joe. All the condiment you would need are available to make your coffee just the way you want it or put the finishing bits on your sandwich or lunch. They have awesome breakfast sandwiches. I have also enjoyed the half soup and half sandwich for lunch; it is just filling and will not overload you. The sandwich selection is admirable and all I have had were very tasty and fast. The atmosphere is relaxed with many business and student types with an occasional mom with stroller, great place to people watch or just rest and power up for the rest of your day.

I have only been here once and it was with my mom and it was while I was trying the Paleo diet. So I did that weird thing where I took all the stuff off my sandwich, toast the bread, and ate everything else. Except I think the mayonnaise had sugar in it... however, my husband works just up the street from this corner bakery, and he goes there several times a week. He especially loves the Reuben melts. now that I am no longer experimenting with the paleo diet, I think I should go again. they also have some great pastries, which I do still need to stay away from as I have found it is sugar that causes a lot of my problems, but I'm sure a nice fat sandwich from this place once in awhile would be just fine.

The cost was a little over 9 bucks including tax so not horrible pricing although it would br nice to have at least a small drink included with the price. I thought the sandwich was really good, everything tasted fresh. The soup was also tasty, definitely wish I had more of it. It didn't taste like a store bought brocolli cheddar. The meal also came with chips. I would come back again, i think uts a good place for meetinga or studying if you can study with some noise.

Me and my boyfriend went there the other day. Both of us got the choose 2. I love that option. I can never make up my mind. Sometimes neither can he. So it works perfect for us. They have big salads, big bowls of pasta even for the half and half deal. Sandwiches are like home but fancy they are comforting. I got the tuna salad and chicken carbonara. The pasta was AAMAZING but the sandwich kept falling apart. He got a chicken panini and spaghetti and meatball. Boy were they delicious. We will be coming back😊.
