Keane’s catered our wedding recently and it was one of the easiest and best choices we made when wedding planning. The take-out tasting process was fun and delicious – we knew immediately we wanted them. They were laid back and so easy to work with through the whole planning process, giving helpful suggestions along the way. Kim’s coordinating was phenomenal! She made us feel so comfortable and we knew everything was in experienced hands with her on the day-of! The staff were all professional and fun – ready to help put a smile on guests’ faces in addition to serving up top-notch food. We had several guests with various food allergies, and Keane’s staff were excellent with explaining ingredients and avoiding cross-contamination which put our minds at ease. The best part of it all was hearing 40+ guests say “this is the best wedding food I’ve ever had!” Weeks later and we're still getting comments about it. Book Keane’s immediately – you won’t regret it.

Keane's catered my daughter's wedding and they were absolutely fantastic. In addition to delicious food and amazing staff, every step of the way Kim, my main contact at Keane's, was always there to provide very helpful advice and suggestions when we needed it. We discovered Keane's while looking for a less-traditional vendor to fit our dream of a "tacos and margaritas" theme. Keane's both fit our budget and threw us the wedding of a lifetime, even going out of their way to accommodate a winter holiday wedding. Our guests loved the brisket and raved about the cocktails. Kym helped stay us on top of everything and was very professional. Cannot recommend enough. We kept coming back for Friday night take out to "taste test" and will be back again in the future!

We used Keane’s for our wedding in June and I’m still thinking about it in October. The absolute best experience from staff to quality of food. We didn’t have left overs because so many of our guests went up for seconds. They just truly went above and beyond with service as well, handling table set up, providing gluten free desserts, and addressing any and all concerns I had. If you’re looking to book a caterer, go with Keane’s!

I don't know where to begin! Keane's Wood Fired Catering exceeded all expectations. My husband and I used them to cater our wedding rehearsal lunch; my husbands family is all from KY so they know good BBQ. I dealt with Katie to book the right foods and the communication couldn't have been better. Luke was the staff member that was at the rehearsal lunch and was as professional and friendly as they can get. ALL the guests were saying how every food items was delicious. I wish you guys would open a store down south! =) Thank you again!

Keane's provided our catering for our outdoor wedding of 150 people. Our experience was incredible-- from working with their event manager Kim, she was SO helpful in our planning, to the onsite staff who delivered the best event we could ever ask for. If there were more stars Boru would get them from us. We needed a caterer for our wedding that was just a few months out from when we booked them and Padraic came through spectacularly. He was thorough, thoughtful, and in constant communication from the beginning until the end. The food was out of this world, and the service might have been better. Not only did Padraic come for an initial site visit on his own time but he also personally showed up the night before our wedding to smoke the pig and was there all night working. He stayed through the next night to oversee, serve, and downright dazzle our guests with this absolutely beautiful spread of delicious food. All the little details: the serving platters and bowls, the plating, the silverware. Our friends couldn’t help but take pictures of how nicely it all was presented. The cornbread needs its own review, it was that good. We had people call the next day asking who had made everything because they couldn’t stop thinking about it! To top it off, he was like an angel pork fairy who leaves leftovers both warming in the oven ready for the late night crowd after he left, and in the fridge to be enjoyed all week. He even came back the next morning to collect what people were still using and check in to see how everything went. As if Padraic wasn’t enough, his staff was top notch. Every single person serving instantly felt like a friend. Especially Mary, who sought me out to make sure I ate, and if you’ve had a wedding you know how important that is. I don’t know how else to say that if you have the chance to book Boru BBQ for your event, no matter what it is, DO IT. You will not regret it. It is literally, the best money I’ve ever spent. I wish we could do it all over again, we loved them. I'd like to update this review to include that six months later, people are still talking about the food at our wedding. If you want a lasting impression at your next event: book them today.

Most successful family BBQ ever and all thanks Padraic at Boru! Had his food for the first time at a catered event 6 months ago and couldn't wait to have his Brisket, Corn Bread, Pickles (frankly everything he makes) for our next family gathering. Padraic was extremely diligent with helping us make the day a super success and taught me how to cut the brisket. Can't wait to hire him again!

We had some issues with our rental vendor and the Keane's team hopped in and helped us figure out a plan to work around that. They were all wonderful and made sure our special day went smoothly. Where do I even start. I found Keane’s in early 2020 when the world hadn’t turned upside down yet, to cater my wedding in Massachusetts. Long story short, 3 venues and 3 dates later, Keane’s hung in there with us and drove all the way up to VT to make our day extra special with their incredible food! Their staff is unbelievable, Kim their events manager was so accommodating and flexible, Padraic is so nice and the most amazing Chef. Everyone at the wedding kept saying how “this is the best brisket they’ve ever had” and I can confirm. Everything was absolutely delicious and I can’t wait to enjoy their food again in the future! One of the best wedding decisions I made 😀

Keanes was great! Everything went smoothly and they helped with every step of the process. I’ve never had catered barbecue before that was so tender and juicy, even the brisket wasn’t dry and was perfectly cooked, which is hard to find! Everyone loved it.

HIRE KEANE'S TO CATER YOUR EVENT! We hired Keane's for our wedding and we were floored by their service! I (the bride) am a vegetarian and I never thought I'd hire a meat-based restaurant to cater our wedding but Keane's was an amazing choice! They have a huge menu that adequately accommodated our guests with dietary restrictions and preferences. Kim is incredible to work with and made sure, through countless rounds of e-mails, that we got exactly what we wanted from our event. I can't recommend Kim, specifically, highly enough. On the day of our wedding my now-husband and I received a personal dish of hors d'oeuvres to attempt to eat in between chatting with guests during the cocktail hour! Unfortunately, as the bride & groom, you barely get to eat on your wedding day but this definitely helped us get our hands on some food. We also got served first during our buffet style dinner and all the staff were so lovely! We received so many compliments on both the food and the service at the event! We received the HIGHEST compliments on the brisket (my husband's grandfather, who's 86, said the brisket was the best piece of meat he's EVER had), the mac & cheese (our gluten-free guests were THRILLED to be able to eat a huge selection of the food at the buffet), and the portobello mushrooms (my friend who doesn't like portobello mushrooms loved it and I personally thought it was a much more unique treatment of portobello mushrooms than would usually be served at a restaurant). We also heard from so many people who got shout outs on their outfits from the catering staff which made everyone feel wonderful. Keane's did a stellar job and we're so grateful they were part of our day!

I was referred to Keane's when I needed to cater a small family luncheon and within 30 seconds of sending my inquiry online I received a phone call to talk through my options. The entire transaction was super easy- with booking, payment and pick up. I ended up deciding to go with their Express catering and it was perfect! The portions and quality were incredible. The brisket, mac and cheese, stuffed mushrooms and chicken were all favorites, as well as the individually wrapped cornbread. Just amazing! I recieved compliments from every family member. We will definitely be ordering from here again.

Can’t say enough amazing things about Padraic and the team at Keane’s Wood Fired! When we first put in an inquiry for our wedding, Padraic set up a call to touch base about our event. His kind, friendly and energetic demeanor was a breath of fresh air. We booked without even tasting the food (a first for Keane’s according to Padraic!) We ended up going to Trillium Brewery one weekend to try some of the food and we’re blown away by how delicious everything was. We realized then that we had made a great decision. Kim (event manager) was so helpful and easy to work with throughout the planning process and was very responsive to any questions we had. The day of the event went very smoothly and our guests all raved about the food! Love love love Keane’s :)

We had Keane's cater our 70 person wedding in Scituate, MA. To say they were amazing would be an understatement. From setting up the tables to the food, everything was amazing. Working with Kim throughout the whole process was wonderful. She was easy to work with and very accommodating to what we wanted. She even drove all the way from Cranston to visit the venue. All of our guests said it was the best food they have ever had at a wedding. We even served the food family style, which Keane's did a great job with. All in all it was wonderful and we certainly will use them again for future events.

AMAZING!!! I hired Keane's to cater the welcome BBQ the day before my wedding as well as the brunch the day after. I was planing out of state and they were beyond great to work with. Kim was our main communication and her husband delivered on the day of. Everyone was raving about the food and they brought everything we needed for the event. The brisket was out of this world and the charcuterie boards on Sunday were such a hit. Highly recommend 10/10 for sure!

I recently threw my Father a 60th Birthday Regatta and dinner at Sail Newport. Keane's tending to my every need, was very professional, the food was great, and they far exceeded my expectations! We ordered Thanksgiving dinner with all the fixings. The ordering process and pickup went smoothly. Everything was delicious - especially the brined and smoked turkey! It was incredibly flavorful. Sides were well prepared too. Portions were generous. We had enough for leftovers the next day. Would definitely order from Keane’s again.

I’m incredibly happy I went with Keanes to cater for my backyard wedding I just had 2 weeks ago. The entire booking process was thorough (thank you Kim!) and professional. We were so excited to have the on-site smoker for our wedding we changed the original wedding date to ensure we had them! We could not be happier with their service and professionalism. During the wedding day one of the workers called out to me asking when I was visiting their table, to make sure I ate! Those small gestures go such a long way and I’m so grateful for the experience they brought to our special day. It made our day even more special. Keane's came through for us -- emailed them early on a Saturday morning to help with catering a last minute event. The owner responded to my email within about 15 minutes -- and in no time, we had the order placed. Pick up was smooth and easy. Food was delicious - everyone loved it. The classic BBQ was a great value with plenty of food for the group. Can't recommend this place enough -- we will certainly use them again.

My husband and I had Keane's Wood Fire Catering at our wedding and we have not stopped hearing from ours guests how incredibly delicious the food and service were! More than one person had said it was the best mac and cheese they have ever had. My husband and I worked in Austin, TX for some time and his parents had visited us down there and had their fair share of bbq when they did. His dad told us that the the food at our wedding was even better than all of the food he had in Texas. And even a few days later, I got a text from a friend on Monday morning saying, “I can’t stop thinking about the food from your wedding! Sooooo good!” As many can imagine it can be difficult to enjoy a meal on your own wedding night, but one thing we both said to each other after it was all over was WOW that brisket! Padraic and his team did such a great job from adding the charcuterie for the wedding party, to the beautifully displayed appetizers, and a fast and efficient buffet service. Not only have we gotten many compliments on how delicious the food was, but many guests have also been complimenting the wonderful service of the staff and how kind and thoughtful they all were. Padraic also has awesome vintage plates! Such a nice added touch that did not go unrecognized. Keane's was such a pleasure to work with, it felt so good knowing that we could trust them to take care of us and our guests. They exceeded our expectations and we feel so lucky to have had Keane’s Wood Fired Catering as a part of our wedding! Without any hesitation we definitely recommend them for anyone's next event!!!

More recently, I helped plan an engagement party for my twin sister and Boru BBQ catered the event. The food, as always, is delicious and probably some of the best BBQ around! I ordered the thanksgiving meal from Keane’s. It was fantastic. The smoked turkey was the best I’ve ever had. They say the meal serves 8 to 10 people and it did with everyone also taking home leftovers. I would highly recommend there service and I plan on using them in the future.

We ordered the BBQ pulled pork sandwich and the Mac and Cheese. The sandwich was good but small and would have benefited from a little more BBQ Sause. It came with several choices for sides. I had the salad which was good and fairly large, but nothing unusual. It was fresh and a large variety of greens. The mac and cheese was excellent and a good size portion. Service was prompt and friendly. Prices were a bit high for the quality.

We’ve had Padraic’s catering many times before so when he introduced the option for Gameday Pick-Up we had to order some good eats for the Patriots game last Sunday! Everything is so convenient; we called in the order on Friday and started the countdown. Sunday we picked the food up from their tasting room in Cranston while running the rest of our game day errands! Everyone loved the food (fed 6 of us!) and even had some left over that I could hide away for lunch the next day! Might have to make this a game day ritual!

I would give them six stars if I could. Padraic and his team are warm, welcoming people who went above and beyond to make our wedding perfect. Multiple people told us the food was some of the best they have ever had at a wedding. I’m so glad Boru does brewery pop ups so we can continue to eat this delicious food for years to come. this is authentic BBQ well prepared and delivered on time by a wonderfully friendly and helpful person named Jaylin. so how do I use the word authentic? I have traveled expensively in the south, in Ters to ur catered event xas and to Kansas City. The smoked meats are nicely done, not over smoked as is typical in New England. the flavors of all the dishes were will balanced and the seasoning was done so that it wowed all the guests at our catered party. ribs were meaty. moist, flavorful and done just right. brisket was perfect and the chicken was in high demand everyone went back for seconds and all commented on the beans and the corn bread. We loved this all I had to do was pour beer, open the bourbon and load the dishwasher.

Was looking for some BBQ takeout and wasn’t impressed by a lot of the other restaurants in the area, as I’m from the south. Great BBQ, for a good price, and take out was mad easy. Cant wait for delivery.
