First time order for me. Not impressed. I ordered two pizzas. The cheese pizza was burned, and the house special was emitting a very strange smell, like burning plastic or rubber. The experience cost about $30, and all I feel like I bought was intel on where not to eat again. The staff was nice, but that doesn't bring 5 stars.

Been here for EVER.. This is a family -owned. Establishment ; with very deep roots in our local community .They have excellent menu, and very good food. Consistently stocked shelves,and always friendly staff that's clearly held to account for representing their business with the high standard that is expected, After -all , this has played a parting their long-standing success... Usually everything is great. Takes time to master different skills at a place like this. Food and staff is usually great. Small location but still all around great people food and store. The staff is extremely friendly and if you go in a few times there usually good about remembering you.

The kind of place where if you’re paying with the cash in your wallet and you’re short 29 cents they’ll say “don’t worry about it” because that’s the kind of people they are. A tiny little place. A chain of two stores I believe. Food is very good and there's always somebody coming and going especially before work and at lunch. What I like to do if I'm in a rush in the morning and trying to catch a boat, I'll call in an order for a nice breakfast sandwich and a lunch sandwich... Throw in a couple of drinks, a bag of chips and a candy bar...BOOM! It's right on my route downtown. By the time I drive there it's ready to pick up and go

Love the food, but service is going down hill. Ordered a loaded steak and cheese no green pepper with maynoise at 730 pm on sunday. I got a soggy loaded steak with peppers and teriyaki sauce.i spent 10 $ on a sandwhich to throw it away. I'm assuming they closed at 9 they shut grill early gave me a old sandwhich. I can easily name the woman who tookorder and madeit. She was very rude as well. Dont like dealing customers and food service find a new job. That's been my only bad experience with the two females working.

Stopped in yesterday to pick up sandwiches from the refrigerated case. Quick in and out. What we chose to do. Whoopi pies etc. as we were going into Portland to visit my daughter for her birthday. Masks on and plastic divider up to protect staff. Door monitored in a polite and welcoming way to make sure proper distancing can be encouraged. We live in Norway. I knew they would follow best practices during COVID19. I was the only customer with a mask on. ALL no matter were pleasantly welcome. The owners are friendly and hardworking. You can also pick up other grocery items. Saw some wine also. Support small business. If I lived in Portland I would go to Anania’s regularly. Great vibe.

Listen folks this food is the bomb always good I don't care what enemy as you go to I always go to the one out on Washington avenue and the service is always good the people are friendly and the stores always clean and I always look for that but the food is always the bottom you cannot get anything bad out of the store
