As I watched people order sandwiches I decided to place my own, "can I have a small of what that man just ordered?" I was greeted with a laugh and a, "we're in New York baby, we don't do nothing small here!" That was how I was introduced to one of the best and heaviest sandwiches I had ever eaten. My heart was so content. We opted for "THE BOMB" - I had to lug it on the subway and didn't eat it until we got to Times Square near our hotel. I had never been so patient in my life and boy did this patience pay off. So much flavour, crisp yet soft bun and while I nearly broke my jaw eating it - I loved every second of it. Don't be scared by the title - that sandwich is all you need. I will be back again next year for the same order as my early morning breakfast! A breakfast of champions - my husband and I had energy until after lunch. Don't miss out!

Was there today. This was comes so highly rated. Everything is takeout. No Seats. The sandwiches are huge. The Italian bread is exactly what it should be, delicious. There are so many combinations of meat. At 2pm there were about 10 people waiting in line. The service is very fast. It is everything that all the reviewers say. After we were finished my friend who was with me said the would be coming back. This is exactly what a NY Deli should be. Thanks.

Looking for an awesome hero sandwich? This place is an institution serving best hero sandwich’s for the past 30 years. The sesame bread makes all the difference. Each hero sandwich is made to order and loaded with meat. Each sandwich feels like it is 5 pounds. The Boars Head ham loaded up can get salty. Try a low sodium version or turkey. Bring cash as it is cash only.

Literally the best sandwich shop in all of new York. Would highly recommend the bomb as just like it's described it does come fully loaded. It's a heavy filling sandwich that doesn't leave you feeling too guilty either and always super fresh. The people here are super friendly and super fast at what they do, during lunch rush can literally run through a store long line in a matter of 15 minutes or less. The macaroni salad is also great as well and pairs great with the bomb!

I saw a guy on YouTube proclaim this place as 1 of the best in the city, I had to try it. I got the Italian combo. Great doesn't even begin to describe this monster of a hero! Very tasty, they aren't cheap with the meats!!! I can stomach the price (16 dollars), beyond well worth it!!!! I definitely will return and try some of the other sandwiches and buy a ball cap.

my oh my this place is rad. got the only vegetarian option on the menu in the egg salad hero ($8.50). there must be like a dozen eggs in that thing—it’s massive. bread has a great sesame kick. service is fast and guys behind the counter are super nice. cash only.

Sal and Kris is hands down the best sandwich shop in NYC! Forget your bodega! Forget that awful place called Subway and go here!!!! You pretty much aren’t gonna eat for the rest of the day. The sandwiches are made fresh and the bread is out of this world! The staff is fast, efficient, and always helpful. Do yourself a favor and take your behind to this place and thank me later!

Been going to the Hero Kings for a better part of 25+ years and they have never let me down with their selection of cold cuts and sides.....and the fact that you can make your sandwich your way is awesome.... what's the old saying "Often imitated, Never duplicated." Their hero's are so desirable that when I go visit NY expatriates in PA, FL or NJ, they always ask me to bring them "The Bomb"& a Manhattan Special. Keep up the good work Boys.

This spot has a place in my dreams. I haven't gone in a while but still recommend it to anyone I meet craving HUGE TASTY sandwich. I show them a video of them cutting my hero and it baffles them how huge it is. A single "The Bomb" sandwich will easily feed 4. It's my "treat myself" spot for a deli sandwich. One time I came in and I was waiting behind a fireman ordering for the whole department, at least 20 heros. Heros need heros. Please, for the love of everything deli sliced, make your way here at least once in your life.

Went to this place for the first time ever and not only was the food deliciously made, but also quickly and efficiently. The people and atmosphere were awesome!! I loved the family friendly feeling to the place. Has a very welcoming vibe to the place. The sandwiches are the biggest portions out there. Worth every penny! My favorite were "The bomb" and "The Franky sandwich" (not an actual sandwich name, just really delicious combo!, "Thinly sliced prosciutt, fresh mozzarell, oil, vinegar, and oregano" Will definitely come back for the best sandwich shop in town. I will miss the sandwiches all the way from Las Vegas! ALSO REALLY LOVED THE HAT!!!

From when we first read about this deli we had high expectations. Upon arriving at the deli you can see that it is a piece of history in Astoria. When we got inside you could smell all the fresh ingredients the amazing meats, cheeses, and the fresh bread. The sandwiches were delicious and extremely filling.

First off let me start off that this place is expensive and I totally understand due to high food costs. But let me also add that the quality of meat has declined since the dad passed away. Totally convinced its not Boars Head but cheaper imitation meat because taste not the same. So buying cheaper imitation meat but charge higher prices doesn't bode well. Don't get me wrong the sons are cool but the dad was old school and a businessman. He would never close for 4 days for Thanksgiving LOL!

My friend live in queens and she recommend me to check it out this deli. Because they have an awesome bomb sandwich. I live in bk so that's way too far, til today I got tot work near here so that's time to check it out. When I enter the store, only 2 people were there ordering, but after my turn, suddenly there were about 7-8 people start to line up after me. My friend said it usually very packed on the weekends. Anyways. I order the bomb, which she recommend. Fill with all kinds of hams cheese and veges. The sandwich is super huge. I think definitely good for 3-4 person. It taste really good, the ham already had a lots of flavor to it so they didn't add too much sauce. The bread had crunchy texture on the outside but not too hard to bite. Everything combine so well together. And I only ate 1/4 of it.

Ordered the bomb, $16. Was prob longer than a foot, maybe 14 inches. Lots of different meats and pickled veggies. I give it an 8/10. Solid sandwich but nothing life changing.

Ok so I drive 2.5 hours to get a sandwich from here.. The bomb was delicious.. upscale sandwich for sure.. The American was insane!!!! The deli meat and cheese was fresh and flavor packed.. The guys behind the counter were pleasant, all in all a wonderful place to get a sandwich..

One of the best subs I have ever had. I order the bomb, apparently the biggest sandwich you can order there. Most certainly the biggest sandwich I ordered in my life, that is for sure. Within are layers and layers of different ingredients and meat. Topped with sauces, lettuce and sour peppers. I love it! The staff in this shop is just great. You can easily feel that they like their jobs. They are enthusiastic and make you feel happy. I'm going here one more time again on this trip!

SKC's Deli really does deserve their title of being the "Sandwich King of Astoria." Their sandwiches are amazing. Typically, delis that makes large sized sandwiches suffers from low quality ingredients, but not at SKC. Their meat and bread are always fresh due to the high foot traffic. We typically order the Italian Combo (instead of everyone's favorite, the Bomb), because we really don't enjoy the American meats that much. We also like ordering a potato salad on the side to change up the flavor to help consuming the large sandwich. The place is cash only, but a $20 bill will buy you more than enough food for at least 2 people. Parking is impossible around this place, but typically the patrons park up the curb at the no standing zone right outside the shop. The service speed is so quick that the meter maid is not quick enough to cite all the illegally parked cars during the busy hours, so they don't even bother stopping.

They have the best heroes ever. Everything on the menu taste phenomenal. The cold cuts are all fresh. The dressing on the sandwich has so much flavor. I advice you to order the bomb. It has a little bit of everything. Plus it just explodes in your mouth with flavor.

The was a long line when I went. But there were two people working the counter. So the line went quickly. $14 for the Italian Sub that I bought. After eating one part of the sub, I do not think it is worth it.

At a glance this place looks like a normal deli, but beyond the hungry customers lies deliciousness. I discovered this spot a couple months ago and have been addicted ever since. I drive in from Brooklyn almost every week for the most delicious deli sandwich I've ever had. The sandwiches are HUGE! Almost like the ones you see in scooby doo. You can easily share with multiple people and they'd even cut it in four if you ask. This place is cash only but they do have an ATM inside if you need. Overall, if you're looking for an amazing sandwich, this is your spot. There's a reason they're called the sandwich king of Astoria.

A solid sandwich The Bomb is as it's name implies. It's a monstrous deli delight who's weight is comparable to a new born baby. Get ready for a delicious challenge but I must say the Italian bread needs a little work sometimes it can be a little to hard to enjoy but I see what it needs to be able to hold up. Get there early and for $9.50 be prepared to be full for 2 days.

We had been wanting to come to this deli for a while, being new to the area, and it was great! The place was crowded but 2 large heroes only took around 10 minutes or less. The amount that you pay compared to the portions are crazy. Only got around to eating half of our sandwiches. They have a lot of options and the food was delicious and fresh. I guess their sign was true cuz they are the sandwich KINGS🥇😋.

Great hoagies. This place is famous for the bomb.. one of NYCs must have sandwiches. Don't get me wrong, it's a great sandwich. But I am partial to the Italian combo. Something about the sharp provolone and salty meats that really does it for me. Lunch and dinner rushes are usually pretty busy but they have plenty of people helping out so it moves pretty quick. my only gripe is that is cash only and it does close pretty early if you think of it as a sandwich shop. Also, there are times when the bread is stale, super dry and crumbly. Maybe you like that. The bomb is what's in the pictures.

Definitely the best sandwich I’ve ever had. For years. After 3 hours in the car. At a funeral for someone I didn’t know. These sandwiches are so good I think about the next time after my last bite. Insane. The bomb is huge. Feeds 3 people easy but you won’t want to share after the first bite. Sauce is hottttttttttt! But don’t go easy. The pain is like the first 6 months in NYC. The "Alpha Twins" recommend the place to me and I asked for Nick who the all knowing hero pro. He recommended the two most popular sandwiches, and being a good student I followed his lead. I ordered the Italian Sub for lunch and The Bomb for dinner. Great subs , stuffed to the max on a great fresh hero bread. The condiments rounded out the finishing touch. The hot peppers were my favorite. These guys are the real deal and became my all time favorite sub shop. Just writing this review makes my mouth water again. Look at his sub and try and tell me you aren't looking for the car keys now! Go....

This is my favourite deli in Astoria! I always go for the Fully loaded Italian combo. The sweet red peppers toe this sandwich together big time and the meat is always fresh! You could feed 4 people with it and a bag of chips to share. Pro Tip: Definitely ask for your sandwich to be cut in to four pieces though, wether you're sharing or eating it yourself,it makes the eating experience a whole lot easier.

The best delicious Italian cold cut hero sub sandwich in the town with reasonable price. The sandwiches are freshly made and custom order. Their special sandwiches are the Bomb, which is everything or Italian combo. During the lunch time, make sure to order ahead over the phone if you don't want to wait long line. This place is cash only transaction. The sub is very large size and can share among 2 adults and ask them to cut in either 2 pieces or 4 pieces. I definitely recommend this lovely local deli if you are looking for good price with high quality of meat.

Prices on par with any decent NY deli about $16.99 for a hero. The bomb their signature sandwich is out of this world. So much flavor your taste buds barely know whats going on. As I've gotten older it's much harder for me to finish these sandwiches. The enormous size . Be smart. Get it dry, take the condiments to go. The 2nd half of the sandwich will get soggy. This will always be a 5 star joint in my heart. It's not the price, parking, or the staff. I've been lucky enough to have pop hand me cuts of meat to eat while I waited when I was small. I'll never not love or recommend this place, but let's be honest some things have changed. I'm an Italian combo guy, and the meat has gone from imported and top shelf to horses pepperoni and salami. It's not the end of the world, and I get it the sandwich can't cost 20 plus dollars. That won't stop the kid in me being a little bit sad. With that being said I have had one just this week, and I'll be back for more. I'll tip with a smile and genuinely enjoy myself from ordering it right up to the last bite.

I was visiting my son in Brooklyn and he took me to this amazing deli. I can see why they call it The Bomb! It is the Biggest and Best sandwich I have ever eaten in my life. It's hard to get all the flavors in one bite, it's so BIG. I wish we had a deli like Sal, Kris & Charlie's Deli here in Texas. Looking forward to eating here again on my next trip to NYC. So I google best cold sandwich in NYC and came across Sal, Kris & Charlie's Deli. Seen the reviews and everyone talking about "The Bomb"(name of the sandwich) so I was sold. I needed this sandwich in my life. I drove from Lower Manhattan to Astoria Queens and arrived at the deli. Super friendly, clean, authentic REAL sandwich spot. After taking my first bite all I could say was "Oh my God". This sandwich was amazing. This monster of a sandwich was the best cold sandwich I have had in my life. I can't believe I had not gone here before. Definitely #1 sandwich Deli of NYC. Definitely will be going there more often and definitely will be spreading the word to friends and co-workers of the sandwich kings Sal, Kris and Charlie's Deli.

IF you consider yourself a connoisseur of an excellent Italian Hero Sandwich and you have never gotten a hero from Sal, Kris & Charlies Deli then you may not have experienced the truly perfect sandwich. There is a reason that this place has patronage from customers of nearly every type of human you can imagine: Truckers, Cops, Construction Workers, Hipsters, Professionals, Housewives...you name it and they will often be on line at the busiest times of day. It is not just that their customer service is excellent, warm, attentive and friendly, cause it is, but it is also because they are so adept and efficient at delivering to you a hero on fresh bread with fresh ingredients. HERE IS THE THING (and its my theory): their turnover of inventory happens so quickly that literally everything you are eating from this place never gets the chance to grow stale. If you live in or anywhere near Astoria, Queens and you have never been to this place, you have no idea what you are missing out on.

Gave this place a try after all my coworkers would bring up these huge sandwiches at lunch time and I was in awe. They told me to give it a try and I won't be sorry. Needless to say, I was definitely NOT sorry! I ordered the Italian sandwich which was pretty much an entire loaf of soft Italian bread. It was packed with fresh deli meats and sweet peppers. I ate the entire thing in one sitting, although the last 3 bites took some effort to achieve! This place is by far the best old school Italian sub place you can find. These places have all but just about disappeared so this place is a true Jewel in the neighborhood! I'll definitely be back! Rock on fellas!!

Massive sandwich that actually has massive flavor. Ordered "The Bomb" that was huge and split with a colleague for lunch. The sandwich was loaded with fresh lettuce, tomato, various meats and amazing peppers. I am amazed I finished half a sandwich that quick due to its explosion of flavors, get it lol. Its a staple of Astoria that everyone should visit. I have never heard one negative issue with this deli but praise for their items and prices. Bring a friend to not only help you devour these monstrosities but carry it out.

If you find yourself complaining about the size and quality of ingredients wherever you get your sandwiches, you owe it to yourself to try this place. Widely known for the enormity of their heros and filled with the good stuff. The place is usually busy but a bunch of (very friendly) guys behind the counter so things move pretty quickly. Sandwiches aren't cheap (around $12 to $15) but they're twice the size of a lot of other places. Parking can be pretty difficult and only made worse by "Open Streets" gaslighting program. If you can manage that you'll be in for a great experience.

-$13 Sandwhich, WORTH IT. -Get 1 sandwich, you can have lunch for two days. -No parking lot and not easy to find spots in the area.... BUT: you can park on the median or in front of Deli, but try not to do that for more then 5 > 10 minutes, which is a typical time frame for them to get your sandwich done if it's busy(which always is!). Definitely go check them out. The Italian sandwich is great!

Best sandwhich shop in the country. Get the pickled peppers on your sandwhich and you won't ask yourself why Peter picked them. The subs are 14 inches, you have to unhinge your jaw to bite into them (they're that thick), so $13 is 3 meals.

This place is honestly hit or miss for me. Sometimes they will make the sandwich perfect, sometimes they will leave stuff off that you requested. You can have the same person make you two separate sandwiches, and he will make them differently for some reason even though you did not ask for them to be different. Sometimes with no mayo and only mustard, sometimes with all mayo and no mustard, sometimes they will use their hot pepper spread, sometimes they will use the sweet one, sometimes they wont use any. It baffles me, I swear they just throw dice back there and slap whatever condiments the roll tells them to. Unfortunately, no other deli around can figure out how to put together a sandwich that tastes decent so I have to gamble and hope that the meat gods will be in my favor each time I go. c'est la vie!!!

Always delicious. I don't buy into "The Bomb" like mostly everyone else does. I go simple. Turkey and swiss with the works (lettuce, tomato, mustard, mayo, sweet peppers and vinegar) on whole grain bread. I can legitimately get 4 servings from one sandwich (and their whole grain is only slightly larger than a decent sized roll) and at $8 that's pretty awesome. The guys behind the counter are machines. Never screw up an order. Always consistent. Don't forget to tip! Not necessary, but definitely most deserved. Choose from old school and new school type sodas, a plethora of different style potato chips, salads (huge fan of their potato and macaroni) and more. Sometimes a wait but the well oiled machine is constantly moving and on the go so the wait is never terribly long. I probably waited a total of ten minutes today and that's usually the average; for me anyway. Cash only!

This sandwich is ginormous.. could barely hold it with one hand… about 15 inches in length and over 3 inches in height.. like, it’s meant to feed 2-3 people right? Chun and I only ate 1/2 of that sandwich for dinner, but to be fair, we had a late lunch and we had some chips with sandwich. It was the perfect amount, we didn’t overstuff ourselves, I think if we ate the entire sandwich, for sure some food coma… . The sandwich was personally delivered by @thehungryferret (thank you so much) around 2:30, and into the fridge it went. 6 hrs later, the sandwich was still intact, bread was not soaked with the mayo or the moisture from the peppers and/or lettuce… . I see the hype, I would prob get this sandwich again, or try their other ones… .

Wow I heard there was a lot of hype around this place and man they where right. I had the bomb sandwich and it was delicious. The sandwich is huge! I had it cut into 4 pieces and I'm glad I did because I couldn't finish it. This was literally my breakfast lunch and dinner. The sweet peppers we're delicious and the meats and cheeses we're fresh and tasty and I could taste every piece. The guys were friendly and work really fast. There were about 5 or 6 people in front of me and I waited about 8 minutes to order and receive my order so don't be hesitant if you see a lot of people. I will be back!

Tried this place today based on recommendation of friends because I've been trying to find a great Italian sub and the local bodegas were good -- but not great. Hands down the best Italian sub I've ever had. I usually don't like crusty bread and prefer hot subs over cold cuts, but this changed my opinion on both points. Delicious mix of meats, a little heat from the sweet peppers, the perfect meat-to-bread ratio, and the bread is like a softer version of a pretzel stick. Perfect sub and nice staff. Check it out.

Service is wonderful and their sandwiches are seriously excellent. The Italian combo is a personal favorite of mine, especially if you add some of those pickled peppers on top...sweet AND hot! Better than Wawa. That's right you heard me. These sandwiches are sent from heaven after being kissed by an angel. They're so thiiiic and filling you won't have to eat for the next two days. You won't find such an epic "food to cost" ratio anywhere else in the city. My one and only complaint (always room for improvement!) Is that they sometimes get the order wrong. I know it looks cool not having to write the order down but it brings a tear to my eye when the pickles are missing.

Believe the hype. I tried driving here on a Sunday without noticing their hours and they close at 3pm! Since I really wanted to try this place out, I purposely took the train after work the next day just to try this place out. Arriving at 6:30pm Monday, no line, no wait. I Ordered the Bomb and asked for it to be spicy. After carefully building and compiling the mountains of ingredients for my bomb, the sandwich artist brought his work of art back to the counter where he can wrap it up. Just looking from a far, this sandwich was HUGE! $7.75 out the door in less than 5 minutes. I simply could not wait till I got home to try it. Unwrapping the sandwich on the sidewalk with people walking by eyeing my precious, I took a bite and it was the best sandwich I've ever had. The mix of Italian and American meats with spicy peppers blended so well together. They were made for each other to be sliced and piled high on a 12 foot sub. I wished I had a ruler to measure the specifications of this beast. All sandwiches should have a standard in height, weight and circumference and most importantly taste, this place should define the standard of all sandwiches.

If you are not eating your sandwiches from this place, I can't help you. If you are new to the area run, don't walk, to this place and get the Italian combo. Make sure you bring a friend to split it with because you will not finish it yourself. Upsides: GREAT sandwiches at a great price and the crew there is awesome. You will see lots of cops, firemen, and tradesmen there getting lunch. That's a sure indication that you should be eating here. Downsides: lines can get long, cash only and no seating. The last point isn't that bad as you can take that sandwich next door to the Astoria Tavern and enjoy it with a pint of beer. You're welcome.

I haven't been to this deli in thirteen years, and I now live in another country. Almost as far from Queens as is geographically possible (Melbourne, Australia). Regardless of this, I still remember the turkey subs at this deli. Service is second to none, and the subs themselves are the best that I've had in my life. Additionally, I'm happy that these guys don't seem to waste their time on having a (largely useless) website or on other marketing ploys; these guys simply have the best food/service around, and they don't need a bunch of smoke and mirrors to prove it. I took my wife here for her birthday and I must say I agree with almost everyone on their reviews here- its all about the ambiance and the decoration not so much about the food. I would say 10/10 for decoration and 7/10 for food. Oh yes the price is quite high as well so make sure you are ready for $40 entree choices. So to start on the good things- The decoration and the ambiance is amazing- it takes you to Moscow in an instant. The colors, the tea pots, and the RED everywhere!! Beautiful. Our favorite part of the meal was the tea and dessert, you must try it!! The black tea in beautiful cup and cherries on top with their traditional dessert is so great. We went for the traditional- Famous Tea Room Blintzes for dessert and any black tea is perfection. Now off to the turnoffs- The manager there is incredibly terrible. Very cold to the guests and also to his staff. I mean he was yelling at his waiter in front of guests at one point...we felt bad for that waiter. But we saw similar things happening around. Drama!! Also, service is 6/10 considering we had to wait a long time before our check was picked up...by manager not the waiter!! That was awkward since he picked up without saying sorry for the slow service while the waiter was nowhere to be found. Dont get me wrong, we do understand this kind of behavior when busy but we were there at an off time of 7:45 pm. Anyways that's that.

What can you say that hasn't been said before, the only thing I regret is not coming here more often. I was interested on how everything would taste, meat to cheese ratio as well as the condiments. This is the best hero I have had everything is perfectly balanced and just a behemoth of a hero. I will have to get the italian combo next time, also they carry a number of different flavors of Manhattan special which is almost impossible to find. Bravo Sal, Kris and Charlie.

Sal, Kris, & Charlie’s Deli can be considered somewhat of an Astoria sandwich institution. This cash-only deli serves up high-quality cold cuts on even better bread. However, don’t expect anything fancy, Sal, Kris, & Charlie’s is exactly what you envision when you think of your typical New York City deli. Their claim to fame is “The Bomb” – a sandwich loaded with every possible type of meat, cheese and topping on (basically) an entire loaf of semolina bread. To say this sandwich is enormous would be an understatement. It’s pretty much the size and thickness of your arm and weighs a few pounds. This is by far the biggest sandwich I’ve ever had and I think I’m still full from it. Layer upon layer of delicious cold cuts are piled high and then smothered with toppings. This all sits in between a perfect loaf of bread – a crunchy crust and chewy inner layer. This sandwich is just what you’d expect if you took an entire deli and put it on bread. The bread was the real standout winner in my book. It reminded me of the bread from Arthur Avenue (I need to take a trip back there very soon). With all these different meats and cheeses, you can’t really pick out specific flavors, rather the taste of the condiments shine through. The mustard did slightly overpower the sandwich, which I didn’t particularly care for, so I’d advise anyone to ask for them to go light on this condiment. The Verdict At $7.75 for a sandwich that’s enough to feed a small family, this is one hell of a deal. Many of the comments on Yelp and other sites say they split these sandwiches with a friend. Good idea. I finished the entire thing in one sitting and thought my stomach was going to explode. Next time, I’ll be giving the Italian a try since I think that’s more up my alley as far as taste goes. If you’re on a quest to find some of the top sandwiches in New York City, visit Sal, Kris, & Charlie’s and get “The Bomb.” Come hungry. It’s an experience for any sandwich lover.

Are you kidding me? That sandwich was 2 meals. I live in CA and I miss NY delis and places like this. I want to fly in and out of LGA all the time so I can swing by here. Cash only, but their ATM doesnt charge a big service charge. Tiny place, gotta take it to go. The guys are on people so they can get in and out. I bet if you are in a rush, you could be in and out in 10 min. Parking does suck. I parked 2 blocks away after driving around for 10 min but it was worth it. I wish this place was in CA. I would be there everyday.

Get the BOMB. You won't regret it. Best sandwhich I ever ate. For 10.75 you get a meal which can be lunch and dinner. You can split it with a friend and can see who can open their mouth enough to get a good bite. Beware if you don't eat much. You will not be able to solo the beast.

I used to live in Astoria and Sal's happened to be on my walk between ditmars and the apartment for several years. Sad times were the hours they were closed and the "need" couldn't be satisfied. I don't write too many reviews… but this is the deli to compare all others against. Ive since moved out of state but I'll go out of my way to stop in Queens just to get an italian or bomb from this place on east coast trips. A true new york gem.

"The Bomb" and "The Italian" is the goto for something to bring on a road trip or a hike. I've had the pastrami from them as well and it was just as good. You will have enough to share and make someone else really happy. Tip: The heros run large so ask them to cut it in quarters. OR... eat the whole thing yourself and enjoy the food coma.

Ordered up "the bomb" with the works sandwich and it's plenty large with huge portions. Had to eat one half for lunch and the other half for dinner. Combination of italian meats, salami, mortadella, ham, mozz, and chedder with a salt pepper vinegar sauce with lettuce tomato. Delish as it soaks into the bread. For me though i've had better hero breads. As this one didn't quite hold up and was a bit dry.

Word around these parts said there was a sammy called "The Bomb." Rumor had it that it's a happy little number straight from a meat lover's shangri-la. Well, I went to S.K.C's Deli and put one of those suckers in my mouth and boy if the rumors aren't dead on. There's more meat on that thing then a Thanksgiving turkey. Imagine putting a large man's arm in your mouth. But a really good tasting arm with hot peppers and salad dressing and... I think it's time for round two... I'm going back.
