Reviews of Faicco’s Italian Specialties
Omar Arias
Amazing! Got the Italian Special for $21 and fast service on a Saturday evening. They give you a huge portion that will last more than one sitting. I added mayo. You can also create your own combination that's not on the menu. Only thing I'd say is I have tasted a better (juicier) mozzarella and (sweeter) peppers from a Bronx Italian shop but those are just my taste buds, I like sweet and salty. I think $15 may be a more reasonable price based on size. The meats/cold cuts were excellent, I'll be returning.

Based on reviews, I expected to be blown away, but overall I was pretty disappointed. For $20 per sandwich, I’d expect a truly amazing experience but the only thing mind blowing was how BIG the sandwiches were. Otherwise, the flavors were pretty bland, although I appreciated that the meat and cheese and other garnishes were freshly sliced. I felt like maybe I was missing something - the sandwiches don’t have any sauce or anything, so there isn’t much flavor and it’s just unclear what the hype is all about.

Make sure to grab a ticket to get called up to order! Spending $15-$20+ on a hero may sound a bit pricey but this is FAICCO’S (and it can really serve two)! I highly recommend the chicken cutlet, with fresh mozzarella and pesto hero—add spicy peppers, trust me.
Mona Tong
Only got one item from here— the $1 Rice Balls—which I enjoyed! They came warm and toasted, and had a nice fried exterior with a super soft and mushy, delicate cheesy rice-filled interior. It was very flavorful and well-spiced, albeit a little too salty.
I didn’t try the expansive selection of heroes/sandwiches on the menu, but they seemed pretty expensive (~$19 on average), but they did sound delicious. Also just a note that credit cards have a 3% surcharge.

The Italian sandwich from Faicco's is one of the biggest and tastiest Italian sandwiches I've had in New York City. For $20 you can get a sandwich the size of football that will undoubtedly feed you for the entire day. The staff is so welcoming and kind. I highly recommend you check them out. I will definitely be returning

This place just didn't knock my socks off. And for $20 per sandwich, that's really what I would expect.
I hate to only give 3 stars for what looks like an authentic Italian shop full of character and characters...but it's all I can muster.
Ordered an Italian. The sandwich is large, and comes with a healthy amount of meat and fresh tasting ingredients, but the flavors are just mild...and kind of all blend together. Also, why only serve a massive sandwich for $20? Why not a smaller sandwich or half sandwich in addition to the gigantic one that one person would struggle to eat? I was only able to eat half, and just felt like the other half simply wasn't worth it, and to me, that speaks volumes.
Ava
I really wanted to like this place because the sandwiches looked so good. But unfortunately that’s all there was to it.. looks much better than it taste. We ordered the italian special and for $20, i expected a phenomenal sandwich. While the portion is huge, there is absolutely no flavour and the quality of ingredients are subpar. I wouldn’t bother coming back to try the other items, it’s just not worth it.
CB
Got the chicken Parm sandwich and it is well worth the price! Also had the prosciutto balls and they were 10/10. Welcoming staff and generous portions!
Chris Gregory
Turkey club was pretty good but not phenomenal -- I prefer Anthony and Son's in Brooklyn. Absolutely absurd helping of Turkey was fun.
Meatball Parm was ok. Bread was quite wet, and didn't have much sauce. I expect way better for $20.
Service is very good.
Atmosphere -- Pretty chaotic shop, no seating because it's pretty small.
Nova
The staff are amazing sandwich was delicious these guys made me feel like if i was part of there family really welcome from the minute i stepped in to the minute I stepped out especially the guy who did my sandwiches he explained to me so i can get what I really wanted God Bless everyone in this store Thanks

Faiccos has always been and will be a true experience - whether eating a sandwich or buying delicious items to take home. Their sandwiches are unmatched and there is no better sausage anywhere in the world IMHO.
Today I stopped for a good lunch and their Italian hero with proscuitto, ham, capicola, soppressata, fresh mozz and roast peppers hit the spot! Get 1 but be ready to be hooked.
John Mermelstein (John)
I had the Italian Special. This is probably the best • Italian sandwich, grinder, hero, hoagie, poor boy, sub, wedge I have ever had. . The quality of the ingredients is a step above. I can see why this shop is so highly rated.
The top photo is;
Veal parmesan with broccoli rabe sun-dried tomatoes and mozzarella cheese
Henry Kilpatrick
Low key, huge sandwiches, great prices for what you get! Authentic classic nyc Italian.

What a gem of a place! We ordered the Turkey sub, which we shared between three people, and it was perfect. It had a ton of Turkey in it, lettuce was fresh, and bread was light and delicious. The service is great and fast and the quality of the food is fantastic.
Rob Zo
The best Italian deli I’ve been to in New York and possibly the best sandwich of my entire life. I had one of the specials with a chicken cutlet, vodka sauce, mozzarella, hot soppressata and possibly something else - my life changed after the first bite.
I returned on my next trip to NYC 5 months later and still think about this sandwich nearly a year later.

Bleaker street is the “little Italy” of greenwich village. Get rice balls here! Do not need any sauce. Also get some fun drinks here! And their famous aged sausages! They sell them whole or pre-sliced in containers (great to-go snack!). This is still owned by original Italian family (4th generation) Latin workers run the place as is the case everything in Manhattan!!! The owners moved to Brooklyn where they have a larger shop with aged sausages. The family business is a story of “out of spite” family empire when Italian immigrant found a bone in his sausage & set out to make the best Italian sausages in town. Here we are!
Michael C Fleschner
My cousin turned me on to this place. So last week happened to be passing by stopped quick grabbed a Italian sub, fried ravioli, and some prosciutto balls. Absolutely delicious.
Electronics Guru
Shh! Don’t tell any more people about this place! Possibly the best combo sandwich on earth wow
Alfredo Mandarino
Authentic Italian Salumeria in the Village.
Take it from a born and bred neighborhood person this place is the real deal. I have been eating their goodies since I was 5 years old. I remember the brother and sister and apart their absence not much has changed.
Pavel Push
Fantastic place. Small old-school deli with huge italian heritage. All sandwiches got tremendous size and likely to feed King Kong. The price is quite modern and a bit higher but yet again, this is cutting off all tourists and you can find yourself deep into habd made sandwiches heaven.
Really worth all the price tag.
John Roche
Got the Italian Special and it was easily the best Italian sub I’ve ever had. The bread and the prosciutto were the highlights but it was all so good together.
Tom O'Hara
One of Manhattan's top places for an Italian sub. Come hungry or bring a friend as these subs are meant for two. My favorites are the cutlet, parm, or traditional italian.
Ricky
I love that I am working in the area now by far the best quality and Italian meats I highly recommend the 4 meat sub it was great get the sub dressed with everything can’t be beat thanks again looking forward to it again
Vince Wu
Faicco's is a legendary Italian butcher shop/deli/market/sandwich shop whatever you want it to be.. I've been coming here to get heros for as long as I remember. The heroes here are unbelievable, just ask anyone in this area. The amount of meat they stuff into these heros aren insane!! Delicious!
Désirée Gómez
Awesome sandwiches, the staff is really nice.
Lauren Benio
Absolutley delicious! I've been wanting to check this place out for a while and so mad I haven't done it sooner. Sandwhiches are around $15 but can easily fed two and are beyond delicious. Staff is super helpful and nice regardless of how busy they are. Go here and grab a sandwich, you won't be disappointed. The shop also has meats and other prepared foods to purchase- great selection!
Christopher Barulich
The best Italian sandwich in NYC!!!
I decided to go to this place because the reviews are really good and I was blown away after eating my sandwich. The guy who made my sandwich was extremely friendly and the place was very clean. This is as good as it gets so go here if you want top quality. Will definitely be back here soon!
Heather Wasitis
Best sandwich I've ever had in my life. I still think about it 4 years later.
Adi Martinez-Roman
Great service, AWESOME sandwiches!!!
Rose Marie Volpe
Great place everything you need in an
italian kitchen 😋. Take out is also a 10.
Rebecca Thompson
I absolutely love Faicco's food and staff. Just get anything, it's all amazing. Love love their rice balls. Nobody makes them better.
Bryce Parkllan
This is one of the best Italian places to go to. They have a lot of great imported Italian ingredients, and they make some amazing sandwiches/heroes. The ingredients are fresh and the flavors meld together in a wonderous harmony that is unmatched by any earthly thing. You might think I'm exaggerating, but you're wrong. Oh, and did a mention that the sandwiches/heroes are HUGE! After half a sandwich I'm usually stuffed. Definitely split a whole sandwich with two people, or have leftovers for another meal
Ian
Firmly believe these guys make the best sandwiches in NYC. Idk if I can even call them sandwiches they’re so big, more like meat monsters. Also a great place to come for any Italian groceries you may need. Pastas, olive oils, meats, cheeses, breads, canned goods, etc. are all available for purchase. Truly an iconic spot and I hope they keep chugging along.
Shimi Liderman
Great value for money! Sandwiches are huge and super fresh (one is more than enough for 2 people). As with most delis, they don’t put any sauce inside the sandwich, resulting in a somewhat dry mouthful. Still, this is a really good spot 👍🏻 …
Dustin Pratico
The best sandwiches you will have. Come hungry because they pack on the meat! LOVED it! Will become a permanent stop whenever I am in New York. A MUST visit.
Christine Mamuad
Impressive selection of Italian goods, meats, cheeses, and food in general. Tried out an arancini and loved it. Would definitely come here for all my Italian food sourcing needs!
Kristy Jo Winkler
First class service and sandwich. They are giant so be sure to share. Loved chicken Cuker with mozzarella and pesto.
Winnie Asawakanjanakit
The most filling sandwich I ever had! I would recommend the chicken cutlet with mozzarella and pesto. The potion was a bit big for me but sharing between 2 people was perfect!
Josh Zignego
An authentic Italian deli in the heart of Greenwich Village. Not only were the chicken parm subs (which are GIGANTIC, btw!) and arancini delicious, but it was a very cool experience just going here. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting a true Italian deli!
โด นัท
If you are going to have a sub then hands down these are the biggest and the highest quality consistently for many years.
Julie Kinzie
Love this place! Great Italian sandwich, the people on our flight home were jealous.
Jay DiPietro
Far and away my favorite sandwiches in New York. These sandwiches aren’t cheap — but you get what you pay for — A LOT of food (these sandwiches are literally heavy to carry) and incredibly high quality ingredients.
Despite not being vegetarian, my favorite sandwich is the veggie which is the perfect combo of artichoke, sun fried tomato, fresh mozzarella and olive oil.
Faicco’s also has a good selection of high quality meats at the deli counter including fresh cuts of pork and beef, and some premise items like breads, meatballs in sauce, etc.
On the left wall when entering are various imported dry grocery items like olive oil, olives, pastas, etc.
Gregory Patzelt
This place is absolutely amazing. My father owned an Italian deli my entire life with the most amazing chicken cutlets. They would sell close to 100lb a day. This place is the closest I've gotten to those cutlets. Amazing food, service, and atmosphere here too. Super clean. In addition this place has an insane amount of butchered fresh meat that's top notch quality. My new favorite spot.
Raymond Iris
The best Italian hero I've had in my entire life. This place is as authentic as it gets.
Richard Sledge
Some of the best chicken cutlets in the city. Definitely in the top 3. Huge and tasty sandwiches will take three meals to finish one.
Debbie Edmunds
LOVE Fiacco’s!!! EVERYTIME we are in the city we got by Fiacco’s and buy all kinds of goodies. Tried new things that we find there! EVERYTHING IS EXCELLENT! Highly highly recommend! Wish we lived closer!! But then I would go everyday!! Lol!!!
D M
I moved to LA but sometimes I sit back and think about fiaccos sandwiches and realize I should move back to NYC
RE AD
politically incorrect Italian owner and excellent pastrami. Great service. Friendly, large portions. What else do u want
tom oconnor
I sampled their Arancini on a food tour and they were great, had to go back and order their Italian Sub for my train ride home, $20 and that sandwich turned out to be three meals in one, what a sandwich! Love the staff and the service.
Nitin Malla
Wow. Absolutely delicious 'next-level' sandwich. Expect to take 15+ minutes for sandwich but that's because they warm it with oven (not microwave) and take care with the preparation and presentation. They have 2 versions of bread chicken cutlet sandwiches, one with broccoli rabe and the other with pesto. Both were amount the best I have had anywhere. Sandwich is good for 3 meals.
Jay Ritter
Love this place. I live in CT and make the trip as often as possible. In addition to the food being top notch, the staff couldn't be friendlier. They always treat you like they have known you for years and that never gets old. Lots of Italian staples as well as some great imports.
Stephanie Diaz
Grab a friend and order an Italian and a Chicken Cutlet Pesto, eat them at Washington Sq park with a couple of seltzers. Can’t be beat.
Richard Aponte
Roasted pork, Fresh mozzarella & yummy marinated sundried tomatoes.
Jason Krebs
Can’t go wrong. I sub the mozz for sharp provolone and add spicy peppers.
mary juliette
I went with my friend about 2 days ago to try their Italian Deli sub after watching something on the food network around it. It was an impulsive trip but it was totally worth it. They practically give you the whole cow and big the portions are massive. Their neighbor restaurant was just as friendly and they must have a deal going on with them because they allowed us to sit across their outdoor patios even though we initially bought from Faiccos. They just had a very welcoming, no pressure, casual vibe to them. The service was fast, the meat was high quality, and the homemade cheese was to die for. The owner was really welcoming to my friend and I and the whole staff was pretty interactive. There is definitely a charm to this place which is saying something since usually in deli's workers have to work so fast it's hard to communicate anything to their customers. But they managed to make us feel really welcome. Excellent service & food.
Anne m
SO yummy and fresh! Pretty amazing prices for so much food! 10/10 recommend.
Israel Torres
One word great. They have good quality stuff. But the sandwiches are what every place should be like. I have been going there almost 20 years. And yet have i ever a bad experience.
Gary “smittygman” smith
Now these guys make a summwich One sandwich equals two people 😂
George Richie
Not the prettiest place, but the chicken cutlet with mozzarella and pesto was good. This place deserves 4.5 stars.
Robin Bisarya
Went there with a walking food tour nice!
Hanna Mo
Sandwiches here are hefty and so yummy. Perfect for bringing to Washington Square!
Jessica Kittle
Our guide brought us here on a food tour and it was delicious! We sampled both the soppressata and arancini and they were both fantastic.
Ty Lawson
The best sandwich spot in the city. Never dissapoints!!
Sanjiv Verma
The staff made us feel like family and the sandwich was unforgettable. This is going to be a staple for all of my future visits to NY.
Tom K
Get the Italian Hero. Amazing and filling!
Emma Flaherty
Service was speedy and the food was delicious. I got the Italian special and while yes, the sandwiches are on the pricy side (mine was $18), they are so big that it’s easily two meals. Lots of other cool treats too, like Italian sausages and olive oil. Definitely worth a trip if you love cured meats.
Brianna Lucas
best food you will ever eat!! I would definitely recommend them!! workers are amazing and so kind and sweet! please stop and support this local family tan business!!! They do not discriminate if you are VAX OR not which I LOVE and I support fully!! thank you so much
Chris Apps
True Italian.
Fast moving operation
A Solid sandwich.
Bartosz Jaworski
Doesn't really get any better than this place for Italian sandwiches. They have huge sandwiches for reasonable prices with top quality ingredients. My go-to is the chicken cutlet, mozarella, pesto sandwich. One of the best sandwiches in NYC.
Sean Moran
This was the Italian deli I have been looking for. As someone who was raised in the mid Atlantic and relocated to the South, Italian delis are something I have missed. This place was top notch. I ordered the Italian Special and it was the best deli sandwich I have eaten in the last 10 years. Fresh sliced deli meats and cheese piled a mile high. The experience and staff were great as well. I will be visiting again next time I am in New York.
Mary M
Amazing food! Stopped in today for lunch and ordered 2 chicken, mozzarella and pesto heros. The service was very fast, was reasonably priced and the portions were huge. We ended up only being able to finish one and will save the other for dinner. Will definitely stop by next time we visit the city!
Dia Y Allen
Love this place! The employees are always nice. The food is on point! Very pricey but the sandwiches are two in one
Stefan Opsal
Best sandwich in West Village
Willard Cook
For an Italian sandwich this place is the best and by best I mean the bread is fresh, the meats are tasty and not over processed with too much salt. The cheese is good too. One unique sandwich they make is the sausage and broccoli rabe. Delicious if you like that kind of thing. The sandwiches are plentiful with all the trimmings and you can eat half and that generally is plenty but they are so good that you end up eating the whole. The fresh meats they sell are excellent. The hamburgers superb. It is a genuine Italian store with all kinds of mouthwatering eats and Italian specialties.
Jeremy Block
It’s exactly as perfect as it looks. You won’t be disappointed
Nick Kennedy
Best Chicken Cutlet sandwich I've had in my entire gd life
Tracy Stoliker
This place gets my utmost respect ✊ for serving you weather your vaccinated or not. Your body your choice. Taking a stand for us American 🇺🇸 citizens is everything! Go enjoy some food and be free. We live in America 🇺🇸 …
Susan K
Great old school Italian grocery store. Highly attentive and polite staff. I got the chicken cutlet, pesto, mozzarella sandwhich. It is so delicious that I want to cry. At $15 it is a bargain bc it is 2 to 3 meals. The chicken is perfectly cooked/seasoned and it has just the right amount of pesto/mozzarella on a really great Italian roll.
I plan on going back to try some more if their offerings.
A Booth
Classic Italian, I eat a lot and could only finish half. Definitely split with someone.
Heather Neiderhiser
I seen your sign. Thank you for keeping your doors open and not discriminating! I wish your business nothing but success during these hard times. GRAB the Italian special! Such a great spot and makes you feel like your right in 🇮🇹 Italy …

Faicco
The word in the office was that there was a place that sold amazing sandwiches but a little bit of a hike away. The weather was nice and my schedule allowed me to get away. Some co-workers and I made the little trip to find that out that the place was actually an Italian butcher shop that sold all sorts of meat products but had a sandwich section in the back. It was located in a party of the West Village that felt more like Little Italy. Anyway, the place was a bit of a tight squeeze - take out only. It was another one of those places with seemingly endless options and happy staff that liked to bark at customers for their order. Very NY. We all ended up ordering the same thing. Chicken with mozzarella and pesto. At $13, it's not a cheap lunch option. One side note. The place was amazingly clean and didn't have any strong meaty smell. We walked our sandwiches back to our desks for the great reveal. The sandwich was huge. It was stuffed with the ingredients generously. The breaded chicken was thin, the crust was still crunchy. The mozzarella was the perfect ratio to the chicken. I could have used a little more pesto, but it was quite flavorful. And finally, the mark of a truly good sandwich is the bread. Their hero was the hero of this sandwich. Slightly crusty, but not so much to cut up the roof of your mouth. The inside had a pleasant chew. And it had just enough flavor to bring forward a flat doughy canvas for the flavors of the other ingredients. Let's just say none of us could finish our sandwiches despite really wanting to just inhale the rest. I'm looking forward to returning and exploring the other sandwiches. Bravo.
john everett
Amazing butcher / Italian deli. Simply the best!!!
Andrea
Update: Service and quality slipping. Sadly, doesn't seem like the same shop I reviewed some years back.
Been shopping here for 40+ years. Originally specializing in pork they've expanded into an all-out Italian specialty store and butchery. Meats and poultry, serious prepared foods, pasta, canned goods, delish overstuffed sandwiches like the humongous chicken cutlet with pesto and provolone on serious Italian bread. OMG.
Carol Koronec
Always great to get sandwiches from the best store
Paul LaRusso
A very fine delicatessen where they treat you like family. The mottzarella is premiere. The men making sandwiches have a great sense of humor
Cathy K
Its been 2 years since going to Faicco's and we've been thinking about the Italian special ever since.
Our daughter in in NYC now, and its the first thing she asked about.
This place is the best.
We took 2 sandwiches to the airport for our flight.
Quite hilarious to watch them go through the scanner at security.
Couldn't wait for the flight. The 4 of us inhaled a half each in the boarding area and were stuffed. Saved the other for the flight back to Toronto.
Go here!
V F
The best sandwich in town!!!!!
They are very big.
Al Leung
Old school Italian deli with great service.
Nicholas Feitel
Is it possible for this place to be better? The west village is too blessed to have a place like this in it still. World-class quality, wonderful service, even frequent celebrity sightings, if you're into that sort of thing. Get a sandwich, get a frozen eggplant parm, tip the guys and thank your lucky stars.
robert beekintiong
Faicco's is more than just a place to get a good cut of pig. They have a ton of specialty items you can't find anywhere else, like fermented pork (better than it sounds) and delicious rice balls combined with the prosciutto ham you can find. The staff is always friendly and helpful, which is a rarity in the city. And they have a good selection of cheeses and deli items as well. I don't know if they make the mozzarella themselves, where they get it from, or what's going on, but it's simply better than any other mozzarella you can get anywhere else. Try some for yourself and you will be amazed. It's like tasting the cheese for the first time again. They also have every kind of sausage you can ever imagine, and a wonderful selection of olives that are fresh and delicious, stuffed with pork if so desired.
Crystal M
A NY staple. One of the best Italian sandwiches in the city. They aren't stingy and load up on meats, cheeses and veggies. A lot of the time they try to give you a premade sandwich that they "made a few minutes ago." Just asked them to make you a new and fresh one.
The vibes are old school and awesome, but don't expect to sit here.
So delicious and meaty.
Paul Jacoby
I travel the country eating italian subs. This Italian had some amazing aspects but there are a few things that held it back from me giving it 5 stars. I usually eat half the sub as is and then pick apart the other half for a better analysis. Lets get started. Bread was great. Not the best ive ever had but it was really really good. The meats probably were the best ive ever had. Sliced razor thin, every Italian meat was amazing. Amazing really does not do the meats justice. Mindblowing would be better way to describe their charcuterie. The mozzarella was very good but i think it could have used a little salt. The lettuce was diced thinner then i have ever seen it, it was amazing. The tomato was good(hard to expect a great tomato this time of year). I liked the dressing alot. My issue was the peppers on the sub. I did not care for them. It was a little overpowering yet bland. It kinda drowned out the vinegar in the dressing. They were not spicy enough for me. Im sure i could have asked for provolone but i like to try an italian as is and i like an Italian with BOTH fresh mozz and sharp provolone. No onions also was a big negative for me. Dont get me wrong still a very solid sandwich but not 5stars. If i ordered it with provolone, sub onions for the peppers it would be potentially the best ive ever had.
Jonathan Kim
If you’re looking for a classic Italian hero, look no further than Faicco’s. The Italian Special was densely packed with prosciutto, ham cappy, soppressata, lettuce, tomatoes, and roasted peppers. Every single bite was absolutely perfect. The salty and savory cured meats were perfectly balanced by the crisp lettuce and tomatoes, and the smokiness from the roasted peppers.
If you are ever in the area and looking for a great Italian hero or just need a local place to get meats, Faicco’s is your place.
Hunter Haubert
Unique take on an Italian sandwich, not my favorite but definitely top five, the only thing that's missing is the tang you get from the peppers. Its a big sandwich and does fall apart, definitely split one between two people! Friendly and Fast!
Sam Stern
Best Italian sandwich in the city. The sandwiches are big, delicious, fresh and their bread is outstanding. And they’re quick! If you like deli food, it doesn’t get better than Faicco’s
Lady Ace
Lapin and I came here after visiting Gardenia. The store was quite packed and there wasn't much room to move about. The staff was very friendly (unlike Di Palo's) and were constantly checking in on you along with offering suggestions. They have a decent selection and we picked up a pound of hot sausage. The prices might be a bit on the higher side but well worth it. Lapin loved them and definitely wants to go back (mostly to get a pound of everything).
Anne Stowell
Amazing service, everything is delicious (buy their meatballs and broccoli rabe, any sausage, sandwiches, they have good eggs...) and they’re actually butchers. If you buy a chicken they’ll ask if you want it cut up and HOW you want it cut up. Support a local, neighborhood business!
Elena Guillermo
Great place and loving the sign and what it stands for! Power in numbers and so happy you allow people in and not whether on the their vaccination status! 🇺🇸 thanks again! …
Georgette “GG” George-Quinn
I used to live down the block on Cornelia street. Would get all my Italian meats here and they had vats of fresh mozzarella and fresh ricotta that was delicious! A wonderful family owned gem in Greenwich Village
Ryan Rockmore
Your one-stop shop for all Italian meats and imported goods. Staff are incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. Whether you’re from the boot, an Italian-American, or just love the cuisine, this is your place for great quality for a great price.
Michael LaRocca
Do yourself a favor: buy Faicco's homemade sopressata, fresh mozzarella, and a loaf of Italian bread. Make yourself a sandwich and you'll have one of the best days you've had in a long time.
Logan Polley
I inagine the foods really good here but not only that but they stand for our rights as American citizens and don't agree with this leftist vaccine mandate props if I'm even in new york I'm coming over.
Scott Keirstead
Definitely the best Italian sandwich I've ever eaten. I'm not sure if that's saying much, but, I know I drool just thinking about this place. Located in the heart of West Village, this is a great little place just exploding with history and culture. Please visit.
Will M
They really put their whole italussy in this meatball sub
Alex Koronec
Great place for all your favorite family food and you can't go wrong with the Italian deli sandwich which includes all of your favorite Italian cold cuts along with lettuce, tomatoes, mozzarella and balsamic vinegar. A salute to the sandwich which is able to fill you up
Mother Rock Star Foster

Will definitely check this place out if ever in NY. Thank you for standing up for American's rights! Much love from Texas.

When my sister comes to visit, she is downright nasty about fitting Faicco's into her schedule for sausage to take home. Don't get in her way. She's right though. This is the place for the most delicious Italian specialties. Just walk into the crowded shop and take a whiff of pure heaven.
xiao hello
Been trying to make it to Faiccos since I moved to manhattan 2 years ago. Hours are tight so it took me a while to find the right opportunity. Finally came in on a Saturday around 1.
The place was hoppin with people. And I don't blame them. The place is great. Between packaged products, deli meats, beef and poultry and sausages, cured meats, etc this place has some awesome products.
We went for the sandwiches but ended up getting rice and prosciutto balls, as well as a slew of different dried meats.
The rice ball ($1) was amazing. The prosciutto ball ($1.50) was good but a little too heavy for me. The hot sopresatta ($16.99/lb) was amazing. Got a quarter lb. Also got a garlic caciattore dried sausage ($16.99/lb). Haven't cracked into it yet.
Now for the sandwiches. We got the chicken cutlet with broc rabbe and the italian special. Both were between $12-14. The cutlet with broc rabbe was good but just slightly too dry. The fresh mozz helped though. The italian special on the other hand was incredible. Absolutely perfect. Hot peppers, dried meats, prosciutto, veggies, just awesome. We subbed turkey instead of ham which was a great move. The thing was absolutely loaded. Great deal. See pic.
Side note, get a side or two of hot peppers. Highly spicy peppers. Soooo good. Even if they are just eating alongside the sammies.
Will definitely be back any time I'm in west village.

Years ago I did I’m in North Carolina now in my mouth waters for a sandwich from there
Chastain Mary
We have no idea why this Italian deli flies under the radar, but your days of not knowing about Faicco’s end right now. This place has been open since 1900, is currently operated by the fourth-generation Faicco, and makes what we’re fairly certain is NYC’s best chicken cutlet sandwich. That said, this is a classic Italian deli, which means they have not only every kind of high-quality meat you could imagine, but they also make a fully stacked menu of insanely good sandwiches - you can’t make a wrong choice here. As long as you try the cutlet at least once.

Stop in here on your tour of Bleecker. It's a great old-style Italian store with a nice selection of meats, cheeses, and sausages, as well as canned and jarred Italian foods. Sandwiches are a bargain considering how overstuffed they are, because you can pull out three-quarters of the filling and save it for later. (Unless you actually WANT two pounds of cheddar on your cheese sandwich.) Counter men are helpful and at least one or two will make you wonder what they're like on a date.
Anirudh Kumar
These guys are super night and the sandwiches are the size of your head.
Jason Ruan
Fresh, appealing Italian grocery store. Italian subs are delicious with lots of customization for toppings. Best coupled with Mama Rao's Lemon Drop Cookies as dessert. Subs are not expensive, but everything else has a markup due to the products imported from Italy.
Jim Petrocelli
Awesome as it was growing up in the village. We ordered sandwiches from the store on a Friday and sent someone into the city to pick up, this is the way sandwiches are supposed to be made, overstuffed, no stinginess and exactly as ordered without 4 thousand questions about what we ordered.....Everything individually wrapped in great fashion.Guys please don't change or go the way of Zitos or Brunos or for that matter to reach a little Sutters on 8th street.
We used to have Willies on Sullivan street too..
This is one of the last greats left....While your there pick up the best Pizza at Arturos that you ever ate or some of Faiccos custom stuffed sausages.
Hernando Betancur
Got the Italian hero packed sandwich very flavorful would have been better with provolone cheese nice staff definitely worth checking out
Jeryl Healey

Tried Fiacco’s Italian sub. Which is praised by many. Yes it was delicious
yes it’s STAKED. Though 18 bucks is unreal for any sandwich goer it is worth it if you are trying to split a sandwich.
Tyler D

Rob Cavallo
This place is great! This is not the typical NYC "Deli" it is the real thing. The sandwiches are packed with meat and sliced thin. It is everything a real deli should be and the food and service reflect it every time I go there.

Looking for something different, we came across the Italian butcher shop. The reviews are positive and so is my experience. I can recommend the lavish sandwiches with Italian cold cuts. The price is very high but the amount of cold cuts is a lot. Anyone who knows Arancini should keep their hands off them, because they don't taste good. You can't get to the original.
