It is pricey but they are consistently good every visit. I'm happy that when other places that I loved start skimping on portions or service and taste starts lacking, I can always come here for the same great food!

I have been hearing so much about this place, because my nephew (@Bruce Tompson) always bragging about it. So today I had the time to check it out and I was definitely not disappointed! I am a firm believer in supporting Black Own Businesses and I have to admit that some times it's not worth the headache but Tasty Treat is the Bomb. I had the Shrimp Alfredo pasta and added a piece of grilled fish on top of it. It was soo flavorful and just melted in my mouth. I purchased an additional bread stick because it was so soft and moist that I ate it before I finished half of my fish. The Crawfish Juice is so delicious. I will most definitely return this week to try something else. I highly recommend this place not only because it's Black Own but because of the quality of the food and it is very affordable.

This was my first time in New Orleans LA. this restaurant was amazing. Clean. Friendly people. I was greeted with a smile and a polite hello. The children that opened the business for the day were very polite and well behaved and very knowledgeable of the menu. I got tge fish and shrimp plate. While the portions are a bit on the small side for the price. You have to keep in mind that this is a small family owned business. The prices will be a bit higher than larger establishments. But very well worth every penny. The food was AMAZING. Seasoned and grilled to piping hot perfection. If i could eat here everyday and try everything on the menu I would. The restaurant is located inside the Big Easy Travel Center. Its very clean and well kept. If you have a chance to stop here don't pass this place up! Im contemplating on going back for more !

The service, food and vibes were AMAZING! I’m so in love with their outdoor setup, the visuals are so cute. I highly recommend tourist and locals to experience Tasty Treat, it’s a dope spot to eat, have drinks and hang out!

Been living in NOLA 6years..that was the absolute BEST burger ive had! I actually got a combo. Everything was good, the fries had cheese and bbq sauce and the wings were nice and juicy. Will return! Been following on IG for a while,worth the wait!!

Fries were a little soggy and wait was a little long but the burger and wings were delicious. Due to pandemic, they were only allowing one person in at a time which was super annoying. Everything was hot and it was a good amount of food for the average price.

Three stars because the cashier with the green hair was really nice and accommodating. She recommended different meals and when she saw I wanted to get my daughter back in the car because it was about to start raining, she offered to bring our food to the car for us. Her customer service was impeccable. They were out of waffles so she came out in the rain and offered alternatives although staff had run out to get waffle mix. Once our food was done, she brought it right out in the pouring rain without an umbrella. Now, the food was just ok. We ordered the steak and baked potato and chicken and waffles. The steak was pretty basic and kind of tough for $20+ and the chicken was over fried. Waffles were basic waffles that definitely tasted like boxed waffles. I think tourists who aren’t used to good food come here and it’s the best food they’ve ever tasted but for locals, it’s basic at best and very overpriced for the quality of food.

Trying to support a local black owned business. Saw the high reviews and headed over in nearly 30mins traffic just to support. VERY DISAPPOINTED. I noticed a lot of people patronizing weren't locals but tourists looking to get a local meal. That explains the false positive reviews. The food is decent but VERY overpriced for the small portion size. The staff on the register pick and choose who to greet when you come in and have NASTY attitudes when you ask them a simple question about the menu. I definitely would NOT be driving out of my way to this place ever again. You can get tastier food for less money at so many other establishments in the city.The chef seemed like a nice person from what I've seen of her online. She needs better people representing her brand.

This is a review of Tasty Treat's Food Truck. I booked Tasty Treat to come for two events recently and they did not disappoint! Blake was so friendly and helpful in setting up the booking. They were on time and our guests were very happy with the food. I personally had the fried fish and french fries and loved it! I can't wait to have their food again and book them for another event.

It a small place but it has a lot of potential. The cheese burger and fries I had was damn good. Actually one of the better burgers I have had in Nola. The burger is not fancy, it's not some artistic master piece it's just a good ole homemade burger that will fill you up and leave you satisfied. The fries are crispy and full of flavor. I look forward to trying the wings the next time. This place is will now be in my rotation of restaurants.

😋😋 our family stopped by this restaurant for dinner For a quick meal. Didn’t really know what we wanted but the cashier was very helpful in helping us shift through the menu. We decided on the hamburger and hot wings. The hamburger 🍔 & wings were really good. The hamburger was very flavorful. The kids really enjoyed the over sized Uno cards and Jenga game. We be back again.

Upon arrival in New Orleans I was searching for my usual Friday night favorite, fish and potato salad. My favorite hole in the wall was not open due to Covid 19 restrictions, however I was told about this spot and decided to pull the trigger. The first thing I tasted was the potato salad and tears practically came to my eyes, it was so darn good. The fish was seasoned perfectly, the mac and cheese were OK and the corn was awesome. I will be back when I visit again in December.

Rode blue bikes from the FQ just to eat here. I've been following Tasty Treat Food Truck on Instagram and I had to go. It did not disappoint. Friendly staff, plenty of seating inside and out. Our Blackened Shrimp Pasta was an even tie, if not better than Katie's. A generous portion of fish was on there too. It was so wonderful. Find the truck or stop into their brick and mortar location. I'm so glad I went. Thanks for a great meal and all the high five's. :)

Tasty treat never disappoints. I usually go with with blackened pasta. Grilled fish, topped with shrimp, on a bed of pasta. They really have a deep menu but I can't get past the blackened pasta. It's that good. Follow tastytreatfoodtruck on Instagram and you can see all the goodness. Oh the meatloaf fire too.

The food looks soooooo good on instagram. I've been to this place three times. The first time was when they were on the food truck. Everything was great. Food was nice and hot and it tasted great. It was overpriced for the amount you get, but I didn't really mind. Support black businesses! The second time I went is when they were in the restaurant. It was my birthday weekend and I was so disappointed. My bf and & I went for lunch, It was only like 11am and they already ran out of that days specials. So my boyfriend ordered some wings and macaroni. The wings had no flavor and the macaroni and peas were really cold. I got the fries with the riverwalk sauce. My fries were kind of cold and my cheese sauce was really cold. And the sauce did not taste that great. I decided to give them another try for taco tuesday. Three of my friends, my bf and I all ordered different things and none of us liked anything. One friend order the fries I got the first time, she said they were okay but barely had any crawfish. Another friend ordered shrimp tacos. She only got 3 shrimp and a bunch of lettuce. At least they use the good salad. Another friend ordered the steak nachos. Her steak was sweet. How and why, I do not know. Not a good combo for nachos. My bf order the chicken taco. He said they were pretty good. And I ordered the chicken quesadilla and a beef taco. The beef taco was good. The quesadilla was not. They use that cheap tortilla shell thats really nasty. On the bright side we got to play giant Jenga. Improvements: 1)Serve hot food. 2) The DJ was toooooo loud. It was only about 10 people in there. No need for the music to be blasting like that. Turn the music down so you can hear when we are trying to order our food and when they call it to come pick up. 3)Wipe the tables down. They sticky. 4) Post a sign saying to come pick up your food. I saw the other groups of people confused about whether they should pick up their food it if it will be brought to them. I'll go eat at the food truck if they bring that back but not at the restaurant.

I’ve tried to come here twice in the last 2 weeks. Once around 7pm and right now I’m here at 11:10am And it’s always closed. The website and Instagram says they open and close for 11 On most days So there’s no way this place should be closed every time I try to com, like they can feel me coming and they close up shop. This food is too good to be playing hard to get. Either update your website times or open up on time. You got hungry people watching your Instagram stories who want that first thing in the morning. Guess it’s a con to having a successful business.

I love to support our pepl, especially when its appreciated. The cook came from the kitchen to ask how everything was & i can barely answer because of my full mouth, lol. The food is always good. The level of service seems to depend on who is there that day. I’d recommend management to get obvious signage that you order at the cash register and THEN sit down. I’m still confused all on if the food gets brought to you or if you go to pick it up?! That would help too.

Let's just say our first experience was everything. The owner went above and beyond to meet our expectations. No one really cared for the rude young lady working the front counter. She could surely use some Customer Service training. If we happen to land in NOLA we will be back again.
