I hired Green Mill Catering for my wedding as my now husband and I wanted to serve breakfast food as our dinner. It was difficult finding a caterer that served breakfast, wasn't outrageously expensive, and allowed for a buffet-style dinner. When I tell you that our guests couldn't stop talking about the food, I'm not lying. Everyone LOVED the food! The servers were great and so kind! I worked with Katie and Sarah and both were incredibly helpful in their communication. I'd recommend Green Mill Catering any day!

Green Mill was absolutely outstanding for our wedding! They were very reasonably priced, and had so many different meal and appetizer options. We cannot say enough good things about our experience with Green Mill catering at our wedding. We looked at several vendors and Green Mill had everything we were looking for: 1. Awesome Food 2. Super friendly staff 3. Extremely responsive to emails and questions 4. Flexible with changes and requests 5. Value for the services provided They were cheaper than some options, more expensive than others, but when we considered the 5 things above that were important to us, Green Mill was hands down at the top of our list. During the wedding planning process and on they day of the event they went above and beyond. We hoped the food would be half as good as the day we taste tested it and somehow it was even better than we remembered. We received tons of feedback from guests on how impressed they were with food. We would absolutely recommend Green Mill to anyone looking for catering.

Green Mill did an excellent job from start to finish on providing catering services for our September wedding. Sarah and Katie were wonderful to work with figuring out the logistics of the big day! They made it very easy and stress free to make sure everything turned out just right for our wedding day. The catering crew did a great job keeping everyone happy and full. They were very professional and efficient. The food was outstanding and all the guests were complimenting and raving how the food was so delicious and filling! Can't say enough good things about our experience with Green Mill and their team! Would recommend to anyone and especially if you are looking for a professional, and efficient caterer. Green Mill Catering did not disappoint. Guests raved over the hor d'oeuvres and dinner menu at our wedding. For hor d'oeuvres we selected the plum BBQ meatballs and the spinach artichoke dip (both were a big hit with guests). For dinner we selected the lemon veggie penne and the vodka chicken which were delicious. Green Mill also provided a variety of options for those with dietary restrictions, which made our decision to choose Green Mill Catering easy. Sarah and Katie were a wonderful team to work with throughout the planning process. The food and bartending staff on our wedding day also did an excellent job and were super friendly. The entire Green Mill staff were professional and provided excellent service. We highly recommend!

We loved everything about our experience in working with the Green Mill. Staff was super accommodating, answered all of our questions and worked with us and our budget. We wanted something fun and laid back for our wedding and ended up doing a taco bar that our friends are still commenting about how good it was. (The late night pizza delivery was also a HUGE hit with guests). We worked with them for our alcohol and bar services and they were able to get in the craft beers my husband and his friends wanted for the evening. Highly recommend working with them for your next even!

Green Mill did an incredible job from start to finish! We worked with Amber for our wedding. She answered our emails quickly, met with us for two tastings, and worked behind the scenes on the big day making sure everything went perfectly. We booked Green Mill to both cater and do bar service at our recent wedding. My husband and I met in a Green Mill so when they were listed as an approved caterer for our venue, we didn't hesitate to schedule a tasting. The tasting was amazing! So much food and Renee was great to work with. We decided very quickly to book with them and Sarah was very quick to answer all of our questions. Service on wedding day was great and the food was delicious - the late night pizza snack was also an added bonus! They were also incredibly helpful with setting up and replenishing our dessert. We used Green Mill in Eagan to cater our wedding, and it was nothing less than AMAZING! Kristen was super helpful in helping us put together our menu, and take care of the other planing that went with it. On the day of the wait staff was extremely kind and did a wonderful job making sure everyone had what they needed. Not to mention everyone was beyond delighted with the food, and made a point to tell me how delicious it all was. The late night pizza was also a big hit. Amazing food, Awesome service, if I need to cater another event I will defiantly use Green Mill again!

Green Mill did an awesome job catering our wedding on New Years Eve. The food was amazing, and the staff that partnered with us was friendly and easy to work with. We found that our guests really loved the different appetizers and pizzas that we had picked out, and Green Mill made it easy on us and delivered on all of our expectations. Green Mill catered our wedding dinner on October 3rd and they were absolutely phenomenal! Their customer service is above and beyond- one of the best vendors I've worked with! They always responded in a timely manner, the tasting was amazing, they showed up on time and their presentation was beautiful! All the servers were professional and took every COVID precaution. We got compliments from all our guests that it was the best wedding food they've ever had- and I have to agree! They far exceeded our expectations. My husband and I couldn't be happier. Working with Green Mill was a smooth experience from day 1! Not only is the booking team (Andrea) prompt with their responses, many creation and contact, but they 100% translated my needs and requests into a seamless event. I loved that I was able to arrange practically every element of my wedding through Green Mill. From Food, to service, to bar to rentals. It was nice to work with one vendor who could provide all of these elements. I also appreciated that my main contact (Katie Canfield) was on top of all the details, leaving me and my husband able to enjoy our wedding and not stress at all about how the appetizers, dinner and breakdown were going to go. Green Mill is versatile and I would recommend them for events both large and small.

Extremely pleased with using Green Mill catering as our preferred venue choice on our Wedding Day June 16, 2017. The food was absolutely WONDERFUL and working with both Renee & Sarah was a breeze! I was told the late night pizzas were gone in an instant and everyone loved our salad and pasta dish choice. Family Style is the way to go future brides! It went so smoothly in serving! Our tables looked beautiful with the linens and all! I would highly recommend Green Mill as your first choice for your wedding day meal!

My husband and I used Sterling Catering (part of the Green Mill Catering name) for our wedding in October. We had an afternoon wedding, so wanted to simply do a happy hour with drinks and apps. Sarah and her crew were fabulous- super responsive to our emails, offered advice about what/how much food to order, but also allowing us to make all the final decisions. We went with heavy apps- and they were delicious! I'd highly recommend Sarah for anyone's future catering needs.

Tasting was easy to set up and food was amazing! I had heard from so many brides that they didn’t eat dinner at their wedding and I made it a point to eat because I knew the food was going to be delicious! Katie was amazing to work with and great with communication-which was so important especially during COVID. All bartenders and staff were great to work with as well! Our only issue was that something was originally missing from the buffet, but when my husband and I went up first to make our plates we noticed it and they immediately put it out (thank goodness because we got a lot of compliments on it!!). We would definitely recommend Green Mill!

Green Mill Catering was overall a good experience. Initially, we thought they would cater our January 2021 wedding reception at Watson Block. In the end, we had to pivot to hosting a small dinner at home with our immediate families and Green Mill was able to rework our existing menu to fit the significantly smaller crowd. It was a challenge to navigate all the changes due to COVID and Walz's restrictions. We finalized our reception/dinner details two weeks before the wedding day and Green Mill adapted. The only criticism is that email replies were a bit slow at times. We think it's completely caused by staffing impacted by COVID. Sarah appeared to run the show, so we understand the delay. Also, it would've been nice for Green Mill to proactively request an alternate contact on our end for delivery communications the night of the wedding. The food was delicious and because we catered to our house, we served it buffet style which allowed for people to try more of the food than would have been served on their plated meal at Watson Block. Overall, no complaints and they delivered despite all the COVID changes.

From our first tasting, to the end of the night when they surprised me with the top tier of our wedding cake that I forgot to ask for, I just really felt, well, catered to. They really went out of their way to make my husband and I feel special and to ensure we had a great day. I would recommend them to anyone!

We used Green Mill to cater our wedding in St Paul for 180 people and they were awesome! After our tasting, we were so excited about our food and when the big day was here, they followed through with delicious food! Our guests raved about the food and that couldn't have made us more happy! We had 3 tray served hors d'oeuvres during cocktail hour and a 3 entree buffet meal - everything went without an issue! Green Mill was very affordable too, which was also a huge plus. Sarah initially helped us with our tasting, quotes and the million questions I had. Then, Katie took over as we got closer to the date to help with all the final details. Both of them were great to work with and super responsive! Nick and Joe were on site the day of to help with everything and kept it all running flawlessly. Thank you all for everything!

Green Mill was wonderful to work with through the entire wedding planning process. They had excellent attention to detail and were so easy to work with. They were respectful of our budget and made sure we were taken care of. They made sure food allergies were taken seriously and provided excellent service. The buns for the pulled pork got a little dry but it was a hot day and these things happen. Overall highly recommend!

Green Mill catered my wedding and were exceptional to work with. From the beginning, Amber and Andrea went out of their way to answer questions quickly and set up tastings. Our guests raved about the food! The lasagna campanelle was a hit along with heart of palm cakes. This is a "from scratch kitchen" and their attention to detail shows in the food and service. I would highly recommend Green Mill catering and will use them for all my future events.

Green Mill did an exceptional job of giving us multiple choices for appetizers and entrees to meet varied palettes. On the night of the wedding when the reception began they were right there offering our guests our chosen assortment of goodies to munch on while chatting, hugging and generally relaxing. I say relaxing because Green Mill took out the worry and made it a priority for us to relax and enjoy the evening. Then guests meals were fantastic from the kids Mac n' Cheese to the three meals we all enjoyed. To top it off around 10:00pm they showed up with pizza for an end of the evening snack. You can never go wrong with pizza. Thanks!!

Green Mill Eagan catered our wedding reception in June 2019 and did an incredible job! The menu for the main meal included chicken tacos and Mexican street corn, and they also catered all the alcohol. I wasn't sure what to expect since GM isn't a Mexican restaurant, but they did AWESOME!! We have been told time and time again by guests that the chicken was amazing as was the rice as was the Mexican street corn. It was beyond our expectations!! They also did a great job with the bar and with the popcorn we ordered during the cocktail hour. They were very easy to work with throughout the entire wedding planning process and had very clear communication. Back when we did the tasting to decide what we would serve at the wedding, we were also very impressed! From start to finish, GM did a fantastic job and we would highly recommend them - we'd give them 6 stars if we could!

Green Mill catered my daughter's Bat Mitzvah party. The terrific service started with a tasting session where we were served portions of a variety of dishes to help us choose the best ones for our event. In addition to providing great food, the staff were very friendly and attentive. They arrived early in the day to set up the room and were well prepared when our guests arrived. I'd highly recommend Green Mill catering services. Our guests are still talking about how great the event was in large part because of the catering staff.

Green Mill catered the Horace Mann Elementary silent auction this past weekend. They did a really nice job with the whole event. Each vendor we looked at was given our budget and they came back very price reasonable with a wide array of food offerings. We received lots of compliments on the food quality and freshness, with just the right amount of food for the event. Green Mill also provided the bartenders for the event and the bar service went off without a hitch. We were able to pre-select our beer and wine offerings and the guests enjoyed the selections. All in all, it was a great event and we couldn’t be more pleased with Green Mill catering for the event.

Green Mill did an amazing job for our wedding on 12/7/19 at Warehouse Winery in St Louis Park, MN. They were very professional and the food was great! Everyone stated that they couldn't get enough! I used Green Mill Eagan for my September wedding and they were amazing!! Initially I was not happy with my tasting , but once I made Kristen the event coordinator aware of it she scheduled me a 2nd tasting right away. She put together a whole new menu and I was so impressed with the choices she had prepared for us I chose almost all of the new options. When at the venue they were clean, fast and very friendly. Also I was able to make payments instead of being required to pay in one lump sum which was very helpful on my budget. If getting married at ECC I believe Green Mill Eagan is the best choice for food, budget and professionalism ❤️❤️

I cannot say enough good things about Green Mill Catering. Until this event, I didn't even realize Green Mill provided that service and you all far exceeded my expectations. All I can say is wow! Not only was the food great (and the pizza a wonderful bonus) but the service was superior and I always felt like you had our best interest at heart with every step of the process. We greatly, greatly, greatly appreciated being able to pick up the table linens a day in advance and the manager at your Lakeville restaurant was so helpful and gracious. He loaded them all into our vehicle. The staff showed up by 10 am the day of the wedding ready to go! They were polite and professional and offered to light all of our candles 15 minutes prior to dinner starting! Sweet!!! We must have brought a bizzillion candles to the event so this was no small task and I was blown away that they offered to help with that! The young lady doing the clean up at the end of the night was also fantastic. She carefully set all decor aside as she cleaned. The staff replenished our dessert bar which to me was well above and beyond the call of duty. The staff also moved (reset up) the buffet tables and equipment outside since it was fairly crowded in the lean to. It was unbelievable service and attention to detail and I have recommended you (already) to every co-worker in my department that asked about the wedding. I cannot say enough good things about Green Mill and will use you again and continue to recommend you all to my co-workers and friends with kids getting married!

We went with Green Mill for our wedding after looking at 16 other catering and restaurant options. We are so glad that we did. We partnered with Green Mill for an organization-wide event and I am so pleased with the way things turned out. They really worked with us and were patient as we changed our minds and went back and forth a few times on the menu items. They accommodated our requests for how we wanted the food set up at the venue. And our guests raved about how good the food was. I was actually out of town the evening the event took place and received multiple text messages from colleagues saying how much everyone loved it. Several days later when I returned, the CEO stopped me to tell me he had at least 10 people tell him how much they enjoyed the food. It was a great experience from start to finish and I honestly can't think of one thing to critique. Thank you!

My husband and I own and operate Weddings In Echo Valley, in Clear Lake, WI, and had the pleasure of having Green Mill- Hudson here to cater a wedding in August. Missy her team were top-notch. Before the big weekend, she reached out to ask questions about our venue and asked if there were any house rules/requirements we had. She made it a point to come and tour our place and asked more questions, with a genuine interest about the venue and wanting to make certain everything went smoothly for not only the bridal couple, whom she was clearly attentive to, but for us as well. The service provided was both professional and personal. They worked great as a team and everything was seamless. In addition, the catered meal was delicious! Missy and her trusty and friendly team were awesome to work with and we would happily welcome them back in the future.

GMC catered our wedding this past weekend and I can’t even count the number of compliments we got on the food! It was melt in your mouth amazingly good. We had lasagna pasta and Hawaiian chicken! Also, the bartenders were superb! One even got out on our dance floor and danced to the Wobble with us! The other was a doll and she took such good care of me. I had a melt down at one point and she talked me down and made me laugh! They treat you like family and I can’t say enough great things about GMC.
