Took plain pancakes which was very soft. Also took the salad power bowl. The salad power bowl was fresh yet flavourful and the baked potato was toooo yummy. Also tried their white chocolate mint which was refreshing.

Warm and inviting interior with plenty of seating, lovely outdoor seating, a place to park your bike if you're coming off the Oakleaf Trail, and a nice selection of traditional and healthy menu items. The Truffle Hot Cocoa is absolutely decadent and a must, and the Bacon Avocado Egg Bowl is a healthy, delicious and light way to start the day. I'll definitely be going back to try the lunch menu.

Some things on the menu are delicious, while others can be hit or miss. But the staff are always friendly and it's a nice atmosphere. I go here often to have breakfast and work. My 6yo also loves it. Very kid friendly place!

I went through drive thru to order dinner for my family and was helped by a young man by the name of Luis. He helped with assisting me in using my rewards and was on top of everything. I asked if he was a manger and when he told me that he wasn’t I was surprised. He is great at his job and is always on top of things when I come to dine in .

The last time I came here, I asked for oatmeal with milk, brown sugar and butter. I was given 2 coffee creamers for milk and no spoon. That taught me to check the bag before I leave This time I was asked if I wanted everything on my oatmeal, I said yes. I probably should have asked what everything is because, there's no milk or butter. Maybe I'm old. 😂 Kaden is pretty awesome. He's very friendly.

Corner bakery serves sandwiches, pastas, soups, and salads. A healthier and heartier alternative to Culvers. Similar experience to Panera Bread, with an upscale retro feel. Milwaukee is SLEEPING on this place! I got a whole MEAL for only 10$!!! I purchased a "Choose Two", opted for a Club Panini and a Chicken Carbonara, which included a roll, as well as a drink. No gimmicks to sell itself, just real delicious homemade food made by talented staff The picture speaks for itself. (Roll not pictured... because I ate it haha, also I have eaten halfway through my delicious carbonara) Food is quality and the staff is a delight, I was able to study comfortably with several plugins available to me. Wifi is a little difficult to access, its a popup sign in. Overall, amazing experience, would come again to study and eat, the "Choose Two" option meal could serve 2 people in all honesty.

Cool little bistro that's popped up in Shorewood within the past month. Went here with bae today and I gotta say that I'm impressed. Good food with healthy size proportions and well-priced. I got the Chicken Pomodori with a side of Chili and carrot sticks and I thought it was pretty well priced for $11. Not only that, the staff are pretty nice and service was pretty fast. Would be more than happy to come back.

We used the bike repair spot, which is very nice, but the air pump didn't work very well. Luckily, John had his small pump which got us going again. We went up the street to U-haul and used their air compressor to fill the tire the rest of the way. Corner Bakery Cafe's bakery was far superior to U-hauls though.

I have ordered pasta dishes, soups, salads and sandwiches. I loved them all!! You absolutely must give this place a try. They have great hours and a variety of dishes including a breakfast menu. Also the servings are a good size. I always have to divide my meal so double the deliciousness!!!

1st timer!! We were just driving by and needed a snack, so we stopped and we are so happy we did! The drive through employees that we encountered were all friendly and super patient, considering we did not know what we wanted to order. The meatball panini, hot mocha drink and fudge brownie were all so very tasty! (Better quality then Starbucks) We will certainly be back!!

I have ordered breakfast many times through Door Dash. The order is always perfect. The bacon is crispy without being burned. The pancakes are fluffy and the iced coffee is really good. Have not had a problem yet with my order. My father loves the bakery items as well.

Good breakfast foods (any of the stuff with avocado in it is fantastic!) served sort of coffee house style (order at counter, they bring it to your table). Lots of outdoor seating, with umbrellas, and a bike station with air pump. Pretty cool

For a quick bite in the area, this place has really consistently good food. They have a fun bicycling theme that creates a nice atmosphere. Food prep is fast and the menu has a good variety. Definitely worth the stop.

Really nice place, I like the atmosphere quite a lot. They do have a decent bakery in there as well, but I wish they would expand it just a little bit. I think they should also expand upon breakfast options but they do have quite a bit. Overall a really nice place to get a decent meal at a decent price.

Sad to leave a mediocre review as I don't typically leave a review unless it is a 5-star experience. I stopped by after the long morning checking out the neighborhood as I am planning to move to Shorewood in a few months. I struggle to select a star rating because of the mixed customer service I received. The front cashier (I believe her name is Angela, but I could be wrong) was extremely rude and unwelcoming. She looked as if she was having the worst day ever! She made me extremely uncomfortable for switching my order to dine-in instead of to-go. The front person can make a lasting impression on a first-timer. Please consider changing your attitude towards customers! On the flip side, another employee - I think it was Maria, who was exceptional! I'd rather bring my business elsewhere else if the front cashier continues showing unpleasant attitude. I really wanted to like this place but my experience fall way too short of my expectation.

Great addition to the area! Going to miss Baker's Square, but looking forward to my next visit to Corner Bakery. The food was tasty and service was friendly and quick. Wish they had orange juice that wasn't in a small bottle, but they have lemonade which is good. The decor is really cool and I wish I had time to read the facts about the railway and whatnot. Definitely going to do that next time. RIDE YOUR BIKE! They have a great bike rack, maintenance station, and are pet friendly as there was a water bowl near the bike rack. Plus there is a nice path going right to the the bike trail.

Food is good. Great alternative to traditional fast food options. Service is good. Drive thru personnel are very friendly, However, have to check order EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. They are sooo inconsistent about order accuracy. For example, if you order a sandwich, it comes with your choice of carrots or chips and at least 50% of the time it is wrong. So I end up getting chips, instead of the carrots I asked for. Another visit, I ordered a delicious salad, and got the wrong salad dressing and no plastic wear to eat it with. Very inconvenient, because I am usually driving thru at lunch time and am back at work by the time that I realize that I have no utensils to eat with.

I ordered the chicken salad sandwich on a croissant with fresh baby carrots on the side. The chicken salad is very tasty with sliced grapes, toasted almonds, celery, chicken, something that might have been pomegranates, mixed in a nice dressing. I can't say what the other menu items are like as this is the only thing I order from here. When I have a craving for chicken salad I go thru their drive thru. The sandwich isn't advertised as being on a croissant but if they have any they will substitute. The sandwich is a little pricey as it only comes with a side of chips or carrots.

This particular location in Shorewood, on Capitol Drive, is right next to the Ghost Train, a great stop for kids visiting in the month of October! Our family group included three children for dinner. The cafe was empty, so service was prompt. The children's menu offers a lot of choices for healthy choices for the kids and the price was reasonable. They enjoyed a soup and sandwich combination. We were going to another event later and needed to be conscious of time. They cleaned their plates and wanted to know when we could return!

The Corner Bakery in Shorewood is simply the best. Their service is always excellent, and you're always met with a smile. They keep the restaurant so very clean, that you could almost eat off the floor. They clean up your table for you as you finish. The menu is excellent and has something for everyone. They have things that are good even if you're on a diet. Their coffee is excellent and the bacon is awesome! This is also a nice place to catch up with friends. The atmosphere is very relaxing and nice.

If you're driving up/down East Capitol and find yourself craving a good breakfast any time of day definitely stop in. Or try out the drive thru if you're in a hurry. Excellent service, great prices, and big portions. Everything was fresh, and the cookie I had was warm, although I was there early so it may have just been baked.

Went to pick up lunch for my mother and myself. Front of house workers were all wearing masks correctly. I did see some back of house workers wearing their masks on their chin or under their noses. I did let the manager know right away. She corrected everyone even though I got a glare and a woman rolled her eyes at me who was working on preparing our food. Food was delicious as always though. Just concerned about health practices.

My husband and I just moved in to Milwaukee in July. We are still getting to know the area and we are very close to Shorewood. This is such a great little town and being so close, it is so awesome. We decided to check it out one Sunday morning and the food was delicious. It was hot and ready to go. We got the order and the food very quickly. Everything you just want in a breakfast meal that is still typically fast food but has high quality taste. My husband and I will go here again and again for sure. It has a great atmosphere as well and very clean, too.

This is my third time coming to cornerstone bakery 🧁. The breakfast food 🥘 items are very delicious. Clean and nice restaurant; but I do wipe tables with my Lysol wipes every where I go b/c I like to be extra clean. I wish they had more of a breakfast selection. I go here about 3 times a week and order the same thing. They never give me the cream cheese I order but butter instead. I understand they look similar but that's as far as it goes. Today, I get no cream cheese. For $1.20 that they charge they should at least remember to put it in the bag. Maybe it's God's way of putting me on a diet!

A wide variety of options. I love their Anaheim panini and their chopped salad. My only complaint is that a few times I've ordered the Anaheim panini and received a bacon egg and cheese panini instead (i was getting takeout so i didnt notice til i got home and it was too late). Overall a good place for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. I love that they do breakfast food all day, it's nice for when you've got a craving for breakfast food or wake up too late for most brunch places.
