The sandwiches tasted pretty good but I was not happy with the portion size in relation to price. I paid for double meat on my subs and I do not feel that the amount of meat on my sandwiches was much larger than the normal size at most places. The service was good and the location was clean and pleasant but for a place that markets it's portion size as being much larger than normal. I found the double sizes I paid for to barely hit what's considered normal at most other sandwich spots. I probably won't be back, since I don't feel that I received my money's worth and my advice to them is that if you're not going to put that much meat on your sandwiches, do away with the marketing implying that your sizes are larger than normal

Look y'all this place was AMAZING!!! This was my first visit but certainly not my last. Fast prompt service, very polite staff. The atmosphere was a whole vibe and I LOVED the musical selection being played. The food was hot and fresh. Not to mention the coupon on Groupon was $12.80 for $20 worth of food!! I got the 12in Steak Bomb no mayo and large fries and drink to get it close to the $20. That was $18.45 so I got chips to get it to the $20 mark. $1.25 out of pocket. It was all worth it. I give Jon Smith Subs 5 stars and a 10 out of 10. Run don't walk to try them out 💪🏾

We ordered catering for a company event. The food was fresh and delicious. The meats were of high quality and plentiful on the sandwiches. We also ordered a catering sized salad with grilled chicken which was huge, and very tasty with lots of veggies. Everything was so reasonably priced, and the staff were amazing! Not only did they call me the day of the event to see if I needed to update my order, but they also delivered our order to our office!!! We will absolutely be ordering from here again not just for catering, but also for lunches. Thank you guys soooo much!!!

Loaded with meat. Very fresh. Excellent customer service! We ordered a large sandwich to share, they wrapped it separately and brought it out to us. We did not order beverages but we’re offered cups for water.

When I realized I couldn't get a Bachi burger, irritating because the place has been "temporarily closed " for longer than that phrase implies; I came across Jon Smith Subs, the local chain I grew up with in FL! I had a taste of home and they COOKED my Italian Steak, extra onions, extra cheese, light on the marinara, they way I've always eaten it. Both days! The fries are cooked to order so they are hot. Love hot fries. Bread is soft. I had no friggin' complaints. And because it was SO unexpected it tasted even more delicious. Steak is sliced thin with the veggies, well proportioned with plenty of meat. They've been open a year, still smells new, dining area nice and clean. As in FL, your food is brought to you at your table. Customer service was good, employees pleasant. They suffered me and my excitement about Jon Smith. They have cold subs but I've eaten only their steak sandwiches since I was little. I'm over 50. Try them in Vegas!

Meh. I had heard mixed reviews about this place . I was in the area, so I figured I'd give it a try. The staffer, just naturally assumed that I should know what to order but didn't offer any guidance as to what was good or popular. So I figured I'd try a safe bet, mushroom steak. I asked what came on the sandwich, guy said steak and mushrooms. Ok What I got, was exactly that, some steak, a few mushrooms and 1 slice of cheese, cut in half, some mayo - which I wasn't expecting. While the bread was super soft, that was really the highlight of the sandwich. The portion of steak, was underwhelming and seemed a bit tough. The quantity of mushrooms was negligible and the cheese was just set on the bread, not cooked into the meat, like most places do. Fries were good, hot but not salted or seasoned. The drink, I ordered small, which is what I got, small. So my gripe is, that against my better judgment, of going to my goto sandwich place, which I would have received a 12inch loaded mushroom cheesesteak sub, chips and a 20oz drink, I received a mediocre 6inch sandwich, decent fries and a small drink 3 stars , probably not. 2 1/2 more likely Was it terrible? No. Was it same value as my regular place? No

Stopped here on the way back from a 14mile hike to my Charleston. Been wanting to try it and glad we did. Good service, fresh made food and ingredients and far better than any chain. They also do burgers. We got the steak sandwich and Cuban. Both were great, Cuban even better. Go support this spot!

Great subs for the price! I tried the 6 inch chicken bomb and the 6 inch pastrami bomb during their Friday promotion: all 6 inch subs are only $5 if you belong to their sub club. The subs were great and full of meat...much better than Subway! I'll be back to try more.

Love it! Have been to this location 9-10 times. It's great every time, from the food to the staff. Always polite, warm and welcoming. The cheeseburger sub is the best I have had in this town. Reminds me of growing up on the east coast. My girl changes it up every time but has been very happy. The french fries are awesome and fresh. We go about 2-3 times a month, I wish more but my waistline says "NO"! Again, this place is great all the way around. Keep up the great work!

Very tasty. The sirloin bomb was excellent. Meat was delicious , the onions were perfect, the bread was good. The fries are crisp and yummy. The milkshakes are awesome. The super- sales lady who took our order was very friendly and nice. Special orders we made were correct. Overall a good experience!!

I can understand unforeseen circumstances. When I arrived, the young lady behind the counter was obviously flustered, and come to find out they had run out of sanitary gloves and she wouldn't take the chance of handling food unsanitarily. I can appreciate that. She took my order, and let me know it would be a while. We have had Jon Smith cater lunches at my work, but never tried the steak subs. Steak bomb with no mushrooms was the call. I haven't had a steak sub in quite some time that filled me up the way this one did. I am currently basking in the feeling of satisfaction from this sub. It was great. The location is great and the workers do a great job. Recommend.

My husband and I were looking for a Subway and saw Jon Smith Subs. We decided to try him out. I ordered the Pastrami Bomb and my husband ordered the Authentic Italian Cold Cuts sub. That was the best pastrami sub I have ever had! My husband enjoyed his sub as well. We will be going back soon. Also, great customer service.

I have been a regular customer now for 2 weeks! I've tried the other sub shops around town but this one is the best tasting and friendliest staff. It's imperative that we continue to support our small businesses in Vegas. I fully support great small businesses like John Smith Subs. Every sub I've eaten was made to perfection, just the way I ordered it. Ohhh I forgot to mention the french fries, those fries are some of the best I have had in a long long time. (Nice and crispy) David is awesome, rembering my name the second time I visited. That really goes a long way! Thanks David, the sub you made was absolutely delicious!

1st time here. Food was good, price fair. Glad to see they offered fries. Only customer in store. Wasn't really greeted or thanked as I left. Had the Italian steak,pizza steak back easy, good,could be been more meat for the roll. Roll had nice east coast crunch to it . Not nearby to house but if I'm in area will definately try another sub.

I absolutely have fallen in love with the fresh ingredients here. Ashton greeted us at the door and explained how they marinate the steak for a full 24 hrs before cooking it. Fair warning the gator sandwich you’d want to split if you don’t want to nap in the middle of your day. I ate 3/4 of my steak sandwich and lost all my motivation last night. It’s really good and so are their cookies!

I drive past this place often and finally decided to give it a try. Probably the best tasting sub that I have ever had. I got the Steak Bomb and it was no mistake. The meat is so flavorful combined with the grilled onions, peppers, provolone cheese and bacon! Everyone's gotta give this place a try.

Got the 6 inch steak bomb for $7. OO. Would have been better with more than 2 tablespoons of meat. No flavor till I put salt pepper and mayo on it. Would be the bomb if it had more meat and spices.

Asked what was on sandwich and clerk never said mayonnaise. Got home and sandwich had mayo. I threw it away as I don't eat mayo after it has warmed up in a car trunk on way home. Asked owner to call. A few hours later he did, and understood my concerns made good on things. Total class act

Nice find by my cousin. Haven't had a steak bomb since last year back home in Boston. Never had a steak bomb w tomatoes or bacon so I opted out but did add extra cheese. Pretty bomb if ya ask me!

Great food, owner Larry is a very personable guy! Sub portions are triple in content and freshness than any other sub place in Vegas! You cannot beat the prices either! I would give more stars if able!!
