Very good sandwiches, at very affordable prices. Had an egg sandwich (very good), chips and drink for $4.61. Sandwiches are made fresh every day. Very simple, on regular bread. They also sell subs which are good as well. Only negative is drink refills are not free. But I guess that is how they keep most every sandwich combo under $5.

The pimento cheese sandwich is indeed Supreme: heaven-sent for under a fiver for the combo. One of the Top 10 deals in Houston: I could eat it daily. The shop also has a great nostalgic vibe with classic oldies playing.

Finally tried this spot and overall, the shaved turkey sandwich was pretty good and the guy behind the counter was very friendly. The pricing scheme is odd however... I'm struggling to figure out how a 6" shaved turkey sandwich advertised on their online menu for $3.99 turns into a $9+ sandwich after adding lettuce, tomato, onion, mayo, mustard (no chips, drink, or dill pickle were included in the $9+ total). There are a lot more sandwich shops in the area that offer a more complete lunch at $9-$10 price points. However, I am glad I tried it but could not help feeling taken advantage of via non-transparent pricing tactics.

I Love Supreme Sandwiches. They are well known for there fresh meats and I usually get there deviled eggs, (2) shaved ham sandwiches on white bread with mayonnaise and pickles with an IBC cream soda nice and cold from there fridge. It’s a good price, outstanding quality and definitely worth it. They have other options such as banana cream pudding, chocolate chips cookies, pimento cheese sandwich, tuna sandwich, and much more! One of my favorite spots to eat at.

I have only eaten here from DoorDash so I’m not sure of the customer service, but the sandwiches are very much normal sandwiches you can make from home but cheap enough that one wouldn’t mind ordering. My only complaint is that they aren’t on top of online orders as they should. I Always have to wait 10-15 mins for them to even accept the order & begin which makes me wait an excessively long time for delivery! Other than that I love ordering here for a quick, small, delicious & cost efficient lunch!

Today my day started out a bit rough my transportation for my dialysis was canceled and while I was awaiting a new ride to be ordered my stomach was a rumbling, when my new transport arrived it was a really nice and friendly man named Douglass, as we made conversation he mentioned how he loved this sandwich shop called Supreme Sandwiches down the stret from where we were headed and asked if I'd like a sandwich. His blood sugar was running low and he really really wanted a chicken salad sandwich. He raved about how delicious they were so we walked in and we were greeted by the owner and the employees behind the counter. I type all this to say that the service and sandwiches were top notch. Thank you Douglass! I'm a sandwich girl and this hidden gem is my new Go-To !! Try it you will not regret!

29 Years later and it's still better quality, service and affordability than any other sandwich shop there is. Homer (RIP) used to add a lil more mayo to the tuna but still fresh as ever. Miss the old days. Great memories!

Amazing sandwiches at a really great price! When you walk in you're greeted with an old time charm and whimsical candy selections. This place really feels like a 1950's ice cream shop, even though there's no ice cream. Lol The only thing that could use a little reconfiguring is the cashier (which in my years of going, she's always there), she's a bit unfriendly and I'm not sure if she's capable of smiling....maybe that's part of their plan, idk, but she's why I deducted a star. Everything else is wonderful

This was my first time eating here. I ordered my food through Uber eats so I’ve never actually been to the actual store, but I’m pretty pleased with what I got. Food was cheap, fast, tasty, and helped with my hangover from last night so i will definitely be ordering from here again! The only negative thing was the fact that they didn’t put lettuce or provolone cheese on my sandwich like I asked but it was still delicious 😊

Simple sandwiches at great prices. They have many options and this place is good for the office worker looking to grab a quick, quality bite of food and get right back to earning that pay check. They have good desert options as well. The ONLY thing keeping me from giving 5 stars is the parking isn't the best.

Yum! So far I have tried the egg salad and shaved Turkey sandwiches on wheat. Have plans to try some of the other many varieties and poor boys. They also have gumbo. Really great sandwiches for a quick bite. Their combo consists of a sandwich, chips and drink for $4.61....won't break the budget. You won't be disappointed in their sandwiches and prices.

Vegetarian options (egg salad, pimento, pb&j). This place has classic, simple and affordable sandwiches. They also have cakes, cookies and chips. If you're looking for a sandwich, with straight up wonder bread, like mom used to make...look no further. They have quick ready made ones (that are fresh) and special order too, they also have other types of bread. I think it's an adorable little place and I totally recommend it.

This place is a hidden gem. I'm a firm believer in a cost to quality ratio when it comes to judging a restaurant, and this place knocks the top out of that scale. The sandwiches are all tasty, but they are also outstandingly cheap. You can tell they work hard to keep their prices down. A lot of the frivolous extras you get at other sandwich shops (I'm looking at you strange pickle spear on the side of my plate) are actually extra here. But, that means what you came for actually remains cheap. I'm going to suggest the muffaletta and the po-boys. Simple, filling, and well made.

Great place for a cheap lunch. I think they make most if not all of the meats themselves so it tastes very fresh. I've only had an issue with the management. The managers seem to micromanage their employees and have ridiculed them right in front of me. I'm just there to get a sandwich and don't want to have to watch the staff bicker.

Cool low frills sandwich shop. Mostly pre-made sandwiches (tuna salad, chicken salad, turkey, pastrami, etc...) you can grab and go or get a hot sandwich. Chips, drink, potato salad, deviled eggs, good cookies. Oldies playing. It's cool and been there for 50 years. I like it for a quick lunch.

Your sandwiches are actually quite good, reasonably priced, and service has always been quick. Ive eaten here off and on for the past year while in the area but customer service makes it or breaks it. My experience today was mildly irritating, I was requested to pick up a sandwich for someone else which he informed me would be premade. I couldn't locate the sandwhich and simply asked one of your staff a question about a type of sandwhich, her annoyed facial expression and lack of customer service was disappointing. I asked 3 different ways in case she was confused with which she answered the same, stating poboy and rolling her eyes. I guess the hope tattoo on her hand means she hopes to cause a decrease in business for your restaurant. I don't believe she should lose her job for having a poor attitude and being disrespectful to your customers but maybe a little bit of re-education.

I ordered two freshly-made tuna fish sandwiches, a pastrami sandwich and an Italian cold-cut sub, along with freshly made potato salad. All of it was delicious and you can't beat the price.

You walk in, pick up a pre-made sandwich, pick up whatever else you want (a bag of chips, a dessert, a soda, whatever), and then make your way to the register to pay. If you want your sandwich customized, ask the guy behind the sandwiches and they'll fix one up for you (ie, adding lettuce/tomatoes costs extra). This is a great place to go for a very inexpensive lunch, and the sandwiches are great. The rest of the food is just okay (some cookies I got once tasted old, the banana pudding tastes like it comes from a packet). There is no free water, and refills are not free. Still, you can come and get a combo of a sandwich, drink, and chips for such a cheap price that having to pay for refills still makes it an inexpensive lunch spot. They apparently keep their prices low by charging you for every additional thing, thus minimizing waste.

If you're ever in the area, this is the best, most reasonable place to eat. Regular homemade sandwiches on regular bread. Not fancy but incredible. My co workers and I don't eat anywhere else if we are nearby.

Olde Tymie Deli. A previous review mentioned no free refills. Refills are $0.99 each. However, you can get a sandwich, chips, and medium drink for less than $5! What in the world could there be to complain about? Everything is made with fresh ingredients. Even the pre-made sandwiches on top of the counter have all been made within the previous two hours! This place can't be beat.

If you are in the mood for a good cheap sandwich I really recommend you stop here and grab the po-boy it is just a simple sandwich but the bread that it is in really makes it so good.
