Great tasting sub sandwiches. Very nice up beat employees. I drive from Temple Valley to Hawaii Kai to get the sandwiches. I wish a Jersey Mike's would open up on the windward side.

It's a bit out of the way if you live more towards the west side of the island, but I have to say, its worth going there if you love sandwiches. Everything is fresh here. Everything is served with aloha. I love the hot sandwiches. You can't go wrong with any of the menu items...really.

The sub sandwich was SUPER GOOD! Better than subway, I got the cold sub along with the hot sub, both sandwiches were good cause there was "Mike's Way" selection on the cold subs only, the red wine and vinegar truly enhances the flavor. The only reason why I gave it a 4 out of 5 was because of the workers that were currently working tonight. The guy that was on duty really didnt know how to manage his workers well, he really didn't know how to communicate to them professionally because the customers, including myself, could hear what he was saying. So if you want to avoid the drama, just order a sub on the way out so you can enjoy it without the negativity 😊👉

Food is great, but service via the app is always terrible. There's no point in using it. Inevitably, I have to wait as the staff readies food for people that walk in as I sit there, after having ordered 20 minutes ahead.

Went in for the first time, looked at the menu but there were so many choices , decided to ask the girl that was working there what was good, she asked me a few questions and said I would probably like the Pastrami Rubin , so I ordered that, waited less then 5 min, paid about 9$ , went home with my hot sandwich and was actually pleasantly surprised on how good the sandwich was! So had a great experience in general , great food , good price, and great service ! I may be going back later tonight to get another sandwich :)

I really enjoyed my Philly Cheesesteak, however, the portion of meat was very small for the price. They also should offer Cheese Wiz like they do in Philadelphia. The sandwich in the picture don't look anything like the one you get to eat. Again, very small portions. They have to learn that in Hawaii we like big portions and we don't mind paying for it!

I'm from South Jersey and this is exactly what a hoagie and cheese steak experience should be. The employees believe in their products, which are made before your eyes. I thought I'd never see a freshly made Italian hoagie with thin sliced meats and Provolone. Whenever I visit my roots, a cheese steak and a hoagie are always in the plans. But now, I've got that here I. Hawaii Kai.
