After passing by a few times and being distracted by the delicious 🤤 aroma I finally decided to go in. I must say, I was not disappointed. The inside was clean and not too busy at the time so I didn’t have to wait too long. The fries were fresh, hit and tasty. The sandwich itself was full of flavor. I did not expect to be taken aback by just how delicious it tasted. I also enjoyed a crisp, refreshing juice Lilikoi Lemonade. They had some unique sauces that really added to the overall flavor which left me feeling pleasantly full. Whenever I get the chance I always like to stop by for a good bite. Definitely recommend!

Dude, this is the best sandwich place. They have so much more too!! I had the Cubano and it was absolutely the best I’ve ever had. It was like an orchestra of flavor. The lemonade is delicious and refreshing. Outdoor seating is kinda nice and inviting on not so hot days. Place is really clean and just all around good vibe in a great area of town. Go eat and enjoy!

I tried the 12” Spicy Chicken Club with Jalapeño Ranch Fries and I must say, they both were wonderful. Could’ve used a little more sauce on the sandwich but it was still great. Will definitely return. They offer inside and outside seating but you must have vaccine card.

I had a lobster roll plate special. It was a bit pricy at $28, but they had multiple deals where if you order 3 its $75 and when you order 5 its $110. It was a good amount of lobster for the price. The brown butter sauce paired really well with the lobster. The pasta salad was pleasant and the pickles had a nice acidic bite. I felt the coleslaw was the weakest part of this plate. It felt a bit too rich after having the butteriness with the roll and the creaminess from the pasta. Overall an enjoyable meal, but I think I’ll stick to other things on the menu next time.

All I will say is ONO BAH... one of the only places in town to get a good Cubano sandwich.. and a few other creative ones too. Like the pastrami ... and after work you want a beer and a sandwich this is the spot...

I was disappointed with EARL overall. The first thing you notice when you order is the price. These sandwiches are pricey. Portion size is decent, and it'll fill you up, but you're paying $15 or so dollars for a sandwich. I had the Cubano and was disappointed with it, but maybe I had the wrong expectation. It felt like a checklist of Cubano elements but none of the follow through. It was not flattened, I barely tasted the pickle and mustard, and the meats felt like generic deli cuts. The waffle fries I ordered on the side were absolutely fantastic, though. Best part of the meal. I really wanted to like this place, but it felt like an overpriced sandwich that was just mediocre.

To Jacob the reviewer who got me to come in, thank you! We NEED these types of places down west, too bad it doesn't happen. 😭 Ordered the Cubano, it's my absolute favorite sandwich and fries. And when I saw Jacobs review, the first sentence or couple reviewed it, I was sold! You go in and you can see the kitchen and where they prepare their food, which is always very cool, because you can tell how clean everything is. I also love watching people cook, too bad I was busy doing something. I wish I could get a beer at 11am. Too bad I'm not confident enough to do so. Lol The Cubano was so good, it was inhaled. All the flavors were so delicious, the mustard, the meats, the bread was nice and toasted, not the traditional Cubano because it wasn't panini style, but that's ok, the bread was so good. The fries are waffle fries, so crunchy, perfect amount of salt for someone who loves salt, they gave ketchup and napkins togo. You can always eat in or right outside. I would totally come back here, if I lived or worked close by. Which I don't. 😭 Awesome food. Friendly staff, the guy taking my order was really nice, trying to get my name correct, dedicated! If you like sandwiches and not just subway, please make the effort! 🤤

Visiting Hawaii for the first time and had to try this spot out. We got a huge spread to try everyyything!! Each item had so much flavor. I really loved the French Dip!! However, the Turkey Salad Sandwich was my favorite. It was so fresh and had a lot of veggies inside such as tomato, pickle, and lettuce!! So tasty. We also got a burger which was packed with cheese, pickles, lettuce, and tasty bacon as well. The Fries were absolutely delicious as well. I love love love the flavor of the cheese and the chicken bits inside the fries as well😛 This spot has a lot of different choices when it comes to food and every single one of them is so delicious!!! The workers here are wonderful and so helpful!!

Good sandwich. Even though seating was very limited I could sit at SALT if I bought coffee from one of the cafes (I went to ARVO). I liked most of their sandwiches - the chicken po boy, cubano, French dip, fresh goat (sometimes with added steak). The bread to sandwich ratio was good and the bread tasted so well balanced with a mix of crunchy outside and soft middle. The chicken po boy was a bit salty to my taste (but I like food with very little seasoning) but overall very good.

Delicious, one of my favorite sandwich shops in Honolulu. Bummed out the Wagyu meatball sub and the cheesesteak sandwich are 6 inches and longer the foot long subs. It so good why would you want less? Half the size for the same price is not cool, otherwise, it’s excellent.

BEST SANDWICHES ON OAHU. and the best sandwiches I’ve ever had and I’m not normally a huge sandwich person. Their French dip is INSANE. Already had it twice within the past week. Their po boi chicken sandwich is also unreal. For non-meat eaters or looking for something a little lighter, the fun beet is super fresh and delicious. The lilikoi lemonade is perfect too. It’s not too sweet. The garlic fries were the only downside, they were good but because we can only do take out right now, they got soggy and mushy so I bet they would be better fresh and eaten right away. Can’t recommend this place enough. The staff is friendly and pretty quick service.

The cubano is terrific. Right away you get a huge hit of the slow cooked pork. You can taste the sharpness of the melted cheese, and the pickle tops everything off. For sure, I would get another. Service wasn't so great though.

Have to say overall very good, have been to EARL's before just not this location. I had the Cuban which was excellent The fries are amazing My wife had the spicy banh mi, which was not very good. Would defiantly visit again, just wouldn't get the banh mi.

Their Pastrami sandwich $13 has thick hanburge, bacon, pastrami, cheese and cucumber in it. Very big portion for two ppl. I also ordered $24 Lobster roll. It was portion down, the price went up from $22. Felt it's pricy.

2021 Update: the menu is different but still delicious (best sandwiches on island) and their customer service is still OUTSTANDING 💕🙏🏽💯 I love these guys! The vegan sandwich options delicious! The service is also super friendly and helpful. Gotta come back for those garlic fries that I kept seeing pass me by... they looked and smelled ridiculous!

Was trying to find something on the lighter side. I ordered the Jam Slam. It was delicious. Light but creamy, well balanced. There is a pay parking garage nearby and side meters. No free parking that I know of.

I’ve heard of this place and finally tried it. Got the cubano and I was not disappointed! Man, I wouldn’t consider myself a cubano connoisseur but it was truly the best I ever had. One thing about that sandwich is that it can be heavy but not here. I kept looking at it to try and figure out why it felt so fresh and light, but had all the substance I love from a Cubano. I don’t know! It was just awesome!

This place definitely better than your typical sandwich shop. I got the special which was the pork philly with some jalapeño ranch fries. All together it was more than $20. But, it was worth it when I finally started eating. I do suggest to eat it right away because it is better right on the spot. It may be a little on the higher end in terms of price, however, it would be a nice spot once a month. They also serve cold beer!

The sandwiches are all delicious! Everything is fresh and made as you order it and made to absolute perfection! The staff is always very friendly and accommodating. And because of the quality, they do get busy at lunch time so call about 15-20 minutes ahead of time to put your order in and you'll be set!

I was skeptical of the social media recommendation.. however after following him on social media and his presentation sold me. So, today my husband and I went to get the crab cake sandwich. A bit shocked by the price but once we arrived home and took a bite into the sandwiches. It took me back to Maryland! We will be back to try other things off the menu. keep it up! Uh I was excited to try the Philly, but I was underwhelmed. Where is green peppers and mushrooms ?! I made better homemade and at when I ate at Charley’s.

We ordered the Italian and the Drew. Far and away the best sandwiches we've had on the island, and truthfully stands up to the best sandwich shops we've been to in any of your token cities. Bread is incredible, meat selection is top notch, and they really do special things to their flavor combinations. Each sandwich is totally unique from the next and equally delicious. Anything you choose you'll be completely satisfied with. To say we are impressed is a criminal understatement.

I've eaten at E.A.R.L'S Sooooo many times. Each time I go, I'm never disappointed. Who knew sandwiches could pack so much flavor!!! The French Dip is by far my favorite. The flavors are indescribable yet so nomzzzz. The sandwiches aren't very huge in size, but huge in flavor. I've also had the Turkey Jam, which is amazing. The Bacon jam is what makes that one. If you want a BIG sandwich, I would tell you to get the Spicy Chicken sandwich. Lastly, the Cubano and the sweet tea. I'm from Tampa, so I'd like to think I know a bit about Cuban sandwiches. It's not a Tampa Cuban sandwich but it's close. The sweet tea has just enough sweetness to it, but I don't think it's sweet enough to be diabetes in a cup. Overall, this is the best sandwich shop I've been to on Oahu.

We came here based off of recommendations. I ordered the French Dip, Jalapeño & Ranch Fries, and the special, the San Marzano Wagyu Meatball Sandwich. The food was pretty middle of the road, but not terrible! I would not recommend ordering the fries - they use a nacho cheese, and mid tier ranch sauce. The Wagyu sandwich was overpriced and not tasty. The french dip was the best thing I ordered. Come here if you need a quick sandwich and you’re in the area! I would not make a special trip to the area just for this spot.

ISYN, that CHX po boy is amazing! My wife has lived here her whole life, and she says it's absolutely the best sandwich she has ever eaten. I'm not gonna disagree, it's crunchy saucy zesty chix perfection nestled in a perfectly crusty Italian roll. Top it off with the lemonade and jalepeno fries and consider your food perfection weekend challenge mission accomplished.

Quite possibly the best sandwiches in our entire lives (Fun Goat and Fried Chicken Po Boy). Bread not too hard, not too soft; meats, cheeses, sauces and veggies all superb. Bacon Cheese Fries had proper amount of sauce over KRINKLE fries- yes, please!!! We will be back!

I was really pleased with this place. Came here on a whim and ordered the chicken po boy and the sandwich was amazing. I got the meal deal with lemonade and the potato salad and everything had a good, fresh taste to it. The chicken was white meat and was really flavorful and juicy. They have a lot of options for their sandwiches and don't be afraid to ask questions, the staff will help you decide based on what you are feeling. Recommend giving them a try!

BAM! This is not your parents place for sandwiches. This place is tops for unique sandwich choices. The Chicken Poi Boy is amazing. One HUGE sandwich. Flavors galore. The garlic fries are incredible. The dining area seating could use some improvement and the ticket times were 20-25 minutes BUT...THE SANDWICHES ARE AMAZING!! I had the Chopped Cheese and my wife had the Po’ Boy. I would go back in the hopes they cleaned the tables a little more and the ticket times were improved.

I was excited to learn they were opening in Kakaako, as it's more convenient for me than their original Kaimuki location. The quality and service are just as great and friendly. Ample seating and good parking options nearby. As always, come early if you have a particular favorite sandwich, since the crowd favorites tend to sell out quickly. Even if it sells out, just try literally any other sandwich--they're all good. E.A.R.L. is my go-to for delicious, satisfying sandwiches (especially after a good workout).

I'm not sure what is going on here today, but out of the like 10 items on the menu they were out of 5 of them. I opted for the beet sandwich for them to tell me they are no longer carrying beets.? Ok, well, can you put avocados in place of the beets? There is an extra charge foe the avocados....lillikoi lemonade.? Oh, no sorry we are out if that too. So $16 for a tea and sandwich.

HUGE sandwiches to fill your belly! If you're hungry and like loaded sandwiches, stop in and try the new E.A.R.L. in Kakaako. There's a range of sandwiches, from vegan to veggie to loaded with meat! Plus every now and then they have different specials too. Sandwiches are anywhere from $10-$14 and won't leave you feeling hungry afterwards.

We got the mushroom swiss burger. It was sooo delicious. The sauce inside was perfect. The bun was soft and light. They take cards and cash for payment.

Visited November 2021. I ate CUBANO. It was ready in about 10 minutes. The taste was quite light, It was quite a volume with a lot of ham sandwiched between cheese melty. There was also a very open toilet right next to it (laughs)
