The team at Emily’s were fantastic! So fun to plan our event with Cheryl who answered all my emails promptly. Rick put our mind at ease and helped with the planning. We had Sasha and Kris the day of our event who took care of every detail especially our crepe station. True professionals from the first call to the end of our event. And the food was DELICIOUS! Highly recommend Emily’s!!

This is long overdue – but my husband and I used Emily’s catering for our October 2022 wedding and we could not recommend them enough (hands down the best decision we made). Rick and Cheryl are absolutely incredible. Cheryl was our main contact person and I truly couldn’t have done all the planning without her. She answered every question and offered her expert advice which made making decisions so much easier. I swear she answered my emails within the hour of me sending them (you can’t find that customer service anymore!) She was prompt with all the quotes, menu adjustments, and payment receipts. She made you feel like you were the only person that mattered! From the moment, we had our tasting with Rick I knew we were in the best hands- his knowledge and expertise around creating our menu was priceless. He helped us adjust and perfect our menu down to the nuts on our salad!! The day of the wedding staff helped us make sure all centerpieces were set up and that every table looked perfect. All staff were attentive and friendly- our quests could not stop raving about how fun and amazing they all were. We as the couple had one server to ourselves- she made sure our drinks were refilled and that we had everything we needed! Our bartenders were awesome and made sure everyone was taken care of. Servers/bartenders were dancing and having a good time all while making sure every quest was attended to! Now the food was absolutely perfect!! The passed hors d’oeuvres were incredible- all of them were unique and presented in such fun ways -mac and cheese in cast iron pots, grilled cheese with tomato soup, mini lobster tails, etc. Every quest could have some of everything if they wanted- there were plenty of servers and options. We decided to do a sit-down meal (NY strip, Red snapper, and Grilled Airline chicken) everything came out perfect- and the steaks were even made to our quests liking!! People are still raving about our food and ask us all time who we used. Long story short you cannot go wrong with Emily’s catering group! We will use them for every future event.

Emily’s catered my daughters bridal shower. Everything from the initial planning right through the day of the event was managed exceptionally well. Emily’s is very helpful with menu planning and other details. They are friendly and professional and a pleasure to work with. On top of all that the food is outstanding! Everything was so delicious and presented beautifully. Guests were raving about the food all day. I would highly recommend Emily’s for any event.

Emily's catering is as close to perfection as you can find in caterer. Let me start with their service. From the start they answered every question and worked with us every step of the way. And at our daughter's wedding on 11/6/21 they went way above catering service by helping us set up the chairs, decorations, memory table while putting together a beautiful table. Everyone, and I mean everyone was impressed with the food, from the appetizers to the deserts it was delicious!! The staff attended to every detailed, got us more wine to avoid going to the bar and there was so much great food!! They are worth every penny and their prices are very competitive and better than most. They made our daughter's wedding a pure joy. I would recommend them without reservation. Thanks to Jana and her team, Cheryl and Rick.

I cannot say enough great words about Emily's Catering Group. We went to my cousin's wedding who used them. We were stunned with how great they were that we ended up using them for our own wedding. We told Rick our idea since we didn't want a traditional sit down wedding and he put our idea to life! Cheryl was the kindest person going back-and-forth between emails to make sure that everything was accounted for and set for the big day. We still have family members talking about the food at our wedding!!! I highly recommend Emily's Catering Group!!!

THE BEST. I hired Emily's catering group for my wedding on 10/17/20, and I cannot recommend them enough. Being a bride in 2020 certainly had its challenges, but thanks to Emily's Catering Group, figuring out food and beverages for my party had zero challenges at all. I give them 2 months notice to throw together the catering for my wedding (again, during COVID times), and they blew me out of the water with their professionalism, quality of their food, and just help and responsiveness in general. First of all, their food is AMAZING. Its not often that I have been to a wedding where the food was exquisite, and thanks to them the food at my wedding was. I cannot tell you how many times my guests came up to me throughout the night with compliments on how absolutely delicious everything was. Like seriously, incredible. Second of all, they were so flexible with me in regards to food options, the pace of the food coming out (I opted for a various food bars and tons of apps sprinkled throughout the night), which to many other catering companies that I spoke with provided a bit of a logistical issue. Third of all, Cheryl and Rick the owners are incredibly sweet people, and the thought of supporting a small, family-owned business was perfect and just what I was looking for during the unprecedented times in 2020. Including the owners, all of the staff were so polite and professional. Dont walk, RUN to have Emily's Catering Group cater whatever function you have in mind. I have ZERO regrets, and you won't either. PS, did I mention how good the food was?!

We had Emily’s Catering for our wedding at The Hill-Stead museum and everything was absolutely perfect! Everything from set up to clean up. They were quick and attentive, food was AWESOME! The biggest worry we had was our centerpieces and table decor that they had to set up since they bring the linens and everything was displayed just how we pictured. Rick the owner was there for a little for food prep, came out to make sure our food was good and we got everything we needed. They deserve more than 5 stars!

Emily's catered my June 2021 baby shower at The CT River Valley Inn. Not only was the booking/proposal process easy (and staff unbelievably courteous and accommodating!), but every single step of the planning process from thereon was flawless. To boot, the food at the shower truly was delicious -- and I'm not just saying that because it was my shower. We took home the leftovers and ate every last bite. Every staff member at the shower also was professional, kind, hard-working, and EFFICIENT. So happy we went with Emily's! Cannot recommend them enough. You will not be disappointed.

Rick and his assistant Cheryl helped to create the most amazing menu for our wedding. They paid attention to EVERY single detail and worked very hard to make us and our guests happy. Anyone we spoke to about our wedding mentioned how delicious and abundant the food was and how wonderful the staff was. We highly recommend them and are looking for another reason/party to have Emily's catering group again!

Emily's Catering was the first vendor we booked when we began planning our wedding 2 years ago. Food and drink was the highest priority for our wedding after finding a venue. Even though our date was 2 years away, Rick invited us, along with our parents, for a tasting. It was evident before the end of the meal that we could trust Rick and his team to provide a quality dining experience for our guests. Additionally, since we were planning a tented wedding at a non-traditional venue- he explained they can provide linen, tableware and drinkware as part of our package (as well as open bar service), which lessened the amount of items we would have to rent from an additional vendor. From the start, Cheryl was prompt with communication for quotes, contracts, and any questions. When we had to postpone our large wedding due to COVID-19, she was patient and understanding as we worked together to find a new date during such chaotic times for the wedding industry. About 3 months before our original date, we ultimately decided to have a small wedding and dinner for 40 people in our backyard. Once again, Cheryl was nothing but helpful as she talked me through menu options, and worked with the chefs to ensure some of our dishes would be Vegan friendly for myself and a few of our guests. We ended up doing a buffet meal, which every guest has continued to compliment, and I could not have been happier with. (The roasted corn salad was absolutely perfect for a summer wedding). I am so appreciative of Rick and Cheryl for being so accommodating, and of course providing delicious food for our special day. It only makes me more excited to experience our plated dinner next year! Overall, I would highly recommend Emily's Catering for delicious food, and high quality customer service. Thank you Rick, Cheryl, and team for all that you do!

The BEST catering service in the Northeast!!! We hired Emily's Catering in Summer of 2019 for what was supposed to be our September 2020 wedding, but was postponed to September 2021 because of COVID. From the start of our first tasting we knew there was no one else we could go with! They are incredible - the food is amazing, the service is impeccable, & they made our night absolutely perfect. Emily's also provides linens, glassware, flatware, barware, bar services, etc so you have everything covered. The menu is incredible - sooo much to choose from & they will customize to your requests. We still have guests telling us how amazing the food was, to the point that they thought the passed appetizers were the main course!! Can't say enough good things about Rick, Cheryl, & Emily's Catering staff. THANK YOU for making our day so special!!!

Emily's catered our 8/21/21 wedding. They provided the full palate, including appetizers, dinner, desserts, the cake, staffing, and the bar and bartenders. The food was delicious and the staff professional. We could not have been happier. The guests were all very complimentary of the food and drink. Highly recommended. They earn all of these 5s.

We used Emily's Catering Group for our Wedding in Ridgefield CT, and it was the best decision we made. My wife and I are so happy and impressed with how Rick, Cheryl, and the rest of the Emily's staff helped throughout our whole wedding process. We didn't want our wedding to be ordinary or typical of other weddings we had been to. They understood our vision and offered suggestions that would work with our style, as well as give us the freedom to be creative in our own way. In the end, it all felt unique, and exactly what we wanted. The menu was a huge hit (Southern Fried Chicken, BBQ Brisket and Butternut Squash Ravioli). And while the food was very much comfort food, it was all presented in an elegant way. A month later we are still getting rave reviews about how they just crushed every aspect of the food, drinks and service, cocktail hour, dinner and dessert. The staff was incredible; professional, personable, attentive and prompt. They made all the workings of the wedding smooth, and it all was happening behind the scenes. As great as the night was, we are sometimes a little saddened thinking we might never have a chance to throw a party with them again. It was a once in a lifetime experience. Seriously, Hire These Guys!

Rick and team were excellent from start to finish. Starting out with the tasting months prior to the wedding, Rick wines and dines you at their office to get a feel of what you would like. There is a plethora of hand served passed apps to choose from, as well as many different stations to choose from as well. My fiance and I decided to do a non-traditional, no sit down dinner wedding. Rick was more than excited to trial this with us. Helping us choose the charc station, meat station and mac/cheese station as food for the reception. Rick and Cheryl were there overseeing the entire operation, and seeing that it went smoothly. It was a homerun. Can't recommend them enough.

I just got off the phone with the owner, Rick, because i felt so compelled to tell him in person how incredible his catering of our wedding this past weekend was. He and his staff deserved more than just this review, which is why i called. I cant begin to tell you how perfect the food was. People, young and old, sincerely told my wife and I that it was, hands down, the best food at a wedding that they had ever had. Days after the wedding, seeing these same people, they are still talking about it. The food all came out hot. The portions were larger than I have seen at a wedding. The passed hors d'oeuvres...were unreal. Every single one was unique and, in addition to them obviously tasting good, it was the extra mile that they went in preparing them that was what people were raving about. They could not believe there was shrimp with a little baster of tequila, or mac and cheese that came in a little cast iron looking pot, or the quesadillas that came with mini margaritas, in addition to many more. the plated dinner was just perfect too. It came out hot and had all the flavors. We had airline chicken, NY strip and red snapper. Again, people are still talking about it and will continue to. it was that good... Every single staff member was attentive and courteous and dressed well. They came out with a smile and were more than happy to accommodate you. If you have any question about who you are going to use for a caterer for your wedding or any other event, you will be doing yourself a disservice by going with anyone else. I won't be getting married again, but will certainly be using Emily's Catering for any other events that we host.

The wedding this past Sunday Labor Day weekend, was made perfect with Rick Kersner’s outstanding support and recommendations. He planned it as if for his own daughter. Not only was the food unbelievable and creative his staff was right on with smiles and great service to all. (ყυɱɱყ!) We couldn’t have been happier with our decision to use Emily’s Catering Group (strongly suggested by Elisa of Esca Restaurant & Wine Bar & Evan of One for the Books Events). I mean who else thought that the food served out 𝒜𝓊𝑔𝓊𝓈𝓉 𝟪𝓉𝒽 - was 𝗼𝘂𝘁. 𝗼𝗳. 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀. 𝗪𝗢𝗥𝗟𝗗!! 🙋🏼‍♀️💍🙋🏼 It was E᙭ᗩᑕTᒪY what we were looking for, not a backyard BBQ or your typical catered wedding dish, but rather an 𝑒𝓁𝑒𝑔𝒶𝓃𝓉𝓁𝓎 creative assortment of food, where everyone’s meals were delivered at once, at a reasonable time, large hot portions and COVID conscious. Now let’s talk about the endless hand passed appetizers, Ahi Tuna Tacos, Grilled Shrimp Lollipops with Cilantro Pesto, & Miniature Maryland Crab Cakes with Sauce Remoulade... just to name my Top ③. And the meals themselves (two tasting pictures included), Airline Breast of Chicken, Grilled Filet Mignon, Mahi-Mahi and if you were a vegetarian, not to fret... the Roasted Portobello Mushroom was mouth watering.
