Love love love this place. If you want a good sub/sandwich come here. Definitely get more than your money’s worth of meat. The staff is super friendly too. This is a “mini” monster roast beef. I also a appreciate the deli meat layer they put over the veggies, so that you get meat with every bite.

It's quite simple. If you like really good sandwiches with plenty of choice and great friendly service then this is THE place to go in the Gulfport/Biloxi area. There really isn't much else to say. I loved my sandwich and was happy with the friendly customer service. I think the last time I had a sandwich this good was at a Deli in NYC. I will definitely come back here!

This place is awesome! Soon as you open the door, you smell the bread and all the meats. It smells WONDERFUL!!! The staff is very friendly and very helpful. This was my wife and I first time visiting. The staff told us they best seller and let us try the tuna. They also asked if we have any questions to ask. I'll give the staff, atmosphere, place and smell a 10+. It was so cute once we got back to the car to see hers and his on the wrap. Now let's talk about the subs. They are to die for and well worth the money! They have the monster and lil monster. We went with the lil monster chicken salad and tuna. My wife doesn't eat anyone chicken salad but hers! However she spoke very highly of it and on a scale of 1-10 she gave it a 9+. On the scale of 1-10 I give the tuna a 10+. Reminds me of my wife tuna. It was waaayyyyyyy better than Subway, Firehouse and Jimmy Johns. We will definitely be back to try more subs and have already started recommending friends and family. If I could give more than 5 stars, I definitely would. Thank you for the great experience and great subs!

People were really friendly and great atmosphere for a sandwich shop. I found that the prices were a little higher than I'm used to for a lunch time sandwich. At $11 for what effectively was a 6 inch sub, it's a place I'll only visit occasionally. The meat was of higher quality than your chain sub shops and the vegetables were fresh and crisp. All in all a good place to eat so long as you don't mind paying a little bit more for a sandwich than you're probably used to.

Food is always excellent and the service is always friendly, but this last trip they had a young lady preparing my sandwich and was touching her nose even though she did have gloves on, but with covid and many bacteria that you just put on your gloves is a no, no. So teach your young people to when preparing food for the public trust me we are watching.

A monster size sandwich at a Monster sandwich shop. I ordered the little monster sandwich and it was still huge. The sandwich was really good, but the bread couldn't withstand all the meat and toppings. This was a real messy meal, get a lot of napkins. It was still good, but my bread fell apart. The people that work there are nice. The parking is a nightmare during lunch, so I parked 2 stores down in a vacant lot and walked over.

I have been looking for someplace just like this. I love how their sandwiches are more meat than lettuce unlike some other deli/sandwich shops. They are quick and helpful. Make sure you understand these are huge sandwiches but you get your money's worth!

I got the Reuben which was amazing. The thousand island dressing was tasty and tasted homemade so ill have to ask next time I go. My girlfriend got the monster footlong Italian sub (pictured). She went ham on it. Pun intended. We got the kids the egg salad with bacon and they loved it. So overall, great food worth five stars. If I dare say, best Reuben in Gulfport/Biloxi area.

This is one very special eatery. The subs and sandwiches are extremely well prepared and fresh. We love the Italian sub, but there are so many subs to select. You can create your own from their wide selection of toppings.When they say monster size subs that's exactly what you get. They are big enough to satisfy any size appetite. The service is excellent and they always greet you with a friendly smile. The prices are reasonable and a total bargain. I look forward to our weekly visits. I highly recommend you stop by. Best place to get a New York Style deli sandwich! I usually get the Italian on marble rye that comes with generous portions of ham, copocolla, and salami with gouda cheese and toppings. Today I got a turkey with bacon on marble rye with gouda cheese and toppings. Always delicious! Fast and friendly service even during the lunch rush! Military and 1st Responder friendly! Love this place!

Staff is super friendly and welcoming. I had my first sammich from here a couple days ago and it was delicious! The owner is super friendly and was very prompt with cleaning as people were getting up and leaving. Their BLT was fantastic and the corned beef was super freakin delicious. THEY HAVE BOTTLED BARQ'S! So many restaurants discount how important first impressions are, and the importance of friendly faces. I was greeted by the team when I walked in. I’m sure I looked lost, being my first time there, and they offered some insight into ordering and options without me asking. Picking up on cues and anticipating needs from your customers is great service! My sandwich was really good and good quality. Even the little sub is huge! I will definitely be back and I’ll definitely be telling others about this really great sandwich shop on 30th!

WOW subs! Packed with tons of meat and always fresh. No way we can eat a whole sub. Don't think that they are open evenings so go early. Egg salad on rye was always a favorite but they've changed it and I no longer care for it.

Let me start off by saying that I’m from South Jersey, not far outside of Philly, now living in central Mississippi. Every time I head down to the coast I immediately start looking for good places to eat. Cheese steaks, hoagies and pizza are probably the top three foods on my list that I miss from back home. I was in Gulfport for a work conference this past week and had visited my usual places until someone recommended Monster Subs! I am so glad they did. I ordered the Italian and was blown away by how close it was to an Italian hoagie from back home. These sandwiches are packed full of meat so you are getting your money’s worth! I’ve read other reviews and I understand not everyone likes that much meat on their sandwiches but sandwiches made like this are what I grew up on. Not that Subway junk. So if you’re looking for a great sandwich, I feel confident in recommending Monster Subs! I hate that it was my last day in Gulfport before I found this place, but I’ll be back!! The only downside for me is that I hate they’re only open until 5:00, I feel like 6 or 7 would be better to catch more of a dinner crowd and also because I could have gotten another sandwich on my way out!! (But of course Covid may be a reason for that I don’t know).

Decided to give this place a try since it had great reviews. I was very pleased. Was greeted promptly and asked if I needed any help. Not pushy at all. Extremely quick service. Dining area was certainly no-frills, but spacious and clean. I got a Rachel with chips. Sandwich was great. Ingredients were fresh. Will definitely be back when visiting the area again. Love seeing local eateries doing well.

Went here on my birthday. Absolutely loved it! Their sandwiches are freaking huge! Got a monster sub and it was easily 2-3 pounds and only $11, and which easily feeds 2 people. It was so packed with meat and deliciousness I literally had to eat it like a hot dog lol. The staff was also the friendliest people I've talked to in a while. The owner even came over to my wife and and just started talking to us. When they were making my sandwich I was really impressed how they cut their meat and everything right there in front of you, and I wasn't sure what some of the toppings were so they let me try it just to see what I liked. All around amazing place. So amazing they inspired me to write a review for the first time ever! Definitely worth a try!

MSN listed Monster Subs at this location as "Best Subs in Mississippi". But first, what is "The Best Sub" for you? If it's the total amount of meat on a sub roll, Monster Subs IS THE BEST!! There's about a pound of meat on their subs! I prefer balance and not too much of any single ingredient that dominates the whole sandwich.

Just found this place driving by and let me tell you, these sandwiches ROCK! I just had the Rachel on Chicago Rye, pastrami stacked almost 3" high! If you are looking for a true deli, this is it! Owners, father and son team, were awesome! Restaurant looked great and very clean. It's slightly more expensive than Subway but you're getting almost a POUND of meat on this sandwich folks! Again, the food was amazing and we'll be back again soon.

You need to go here hungry or in pairs. This is the most satisfied I have ever been for the price. This is no cheap meat fill-up either. The meat is juicy and freshly sliced. My first experience here today. When I walked in it was after the "official" lunch time and they were wiping down the walls behind the coolers. Walking in and seeing that turns on the spider sense for me. After observing and asking a few questions, I realized how clean the place really was. I ordered the Rueben and very much enjoyed it, but my only qualm would be having a toasting option for my bread. Highlights of my experience are: generous portions, a greeting when I walked in, food service gloves on all employees, and a clean facility. They have earned my five stars and I think they very much deserve it.

Absolutely delicious, and great service. I'm from Boston and I have been searching for a good cold sub shop like home, but all I've been able to find is poboys and nasty warm subs. I'm glad I found this place at the END of my pregnancy or I would be double my size. The establishment is very clean (one of the employees got a small cut on his finger from the slicer and they collectively took it apart and washed/sanitized the entire console before serving anyone, and apologized a million times for the wait. It is amazing to find good, timely service in the south, and even better that they recognized and acted on appropriate health codes!) All employees wore gloves on their hands, too. Oh, and they are not kidding with the name, they truly are MONSTER subs. Definitely not stingy with the meat and toppings. I'll be back! Try the italian! (I subbed the salami out and opted for turkey instead.) Sooooo yummy!

I'm still grieving the fact that we lost Lenny's and all the great folks over there, but in an effort to move on, I gave Monster a try today. Got the Lil' Monster Italian and holy cow, I swear to you I could hear angels singing in the first bite. Beautiful sandwich, and so much meat, I could only eat half. These guys clearly care about making a wonderful sandwich and take great pride in doing so. I love that! I really wish them great success so they stick around for a long time. I tried there reuben on my 1st visit the other day. There was plenty of meat, but with the rye bread being so thin the liquid from the ingredients made it a mushy mess (was told it could be that way and to not wait too long to eat.) I took the sandwich home (which was perhaps 1/2 mile).That's not how I like my sandwich, so guess that was a first and last visit all in one. It was good, but perhaps a thicker bread would be better.
