The Beef Pho is fantastic, it's a lot of food (I nearly always have leftovers for a snack later) and it especially hits the spot on a cold day. I am thoroughly impressed with their iced coffee. Both strong and sweet, it has everything I look for in an iced coffee, plus is a great deal in my opinion at $3. I haven't tried the Chicken Pho or the Bahn Mi, but they look lovely! The spring rolls are different from any I've ever had, and the fresh mint leaves in them is a bit strong for my taste, but they are very fresh tasting and well made with awesome big shrimp, so if that flavor profile is what you prefer, very good I'm sure.

This place has some of the freshest foods with the most authentic flavors. While I haven’t actually had their pho, I’ve tried the bahn mi and the spring rolls. Both are some of my favorite things to get from the whole market! Prices are very fair and their staff is very friendly. Wait times can be a little longer, but that’s because all of their food is assembled right in front of you. Great place to stop for a meal!

Considering my visit was not long after their grand opening, I'd assume some kinks are still being worked out. I thought the pho was delicious, as was the Vietnamese coffee. There was a wait but they were understaffed. They had also sold out of some menu items. It is also a bit inconvenient that the location does not have any seating, especially since you have to carry around your bowl of pho around until you find seating elsewhere (something to consider if you're there with the kids).

Unique among the pho available through the rest of the city, the broth of their signature pho is exceptionally herb forward. Chicken pho and Bahn Mi out out a simple, but excellent menu.

Really great pho. I'm always skeptical of take out pho but it's the only option right now. I wouldn't recommend getting it take out unless you have a way to reheat the broth before combining the other ingredients. Huge portion, I couldn't fit it all in this giant bowl that has worked at another similarly price vietnamese spot, definitely a bigger portion and the best I've tasted around here. I see a lot of comments about rude service, I think it's a cultural thing, staff in real vietnamese restaurants are typically hurried and curt. I lived in the bay area for years which has dozens of great vietnamese/pho spots and it sometimes seemed like the more curt the staff the better the food.

Located in the downtown market. This means prices are a bit high. Nothing wrong with the food, but good phone can be found others places for less. If downtown and craving. This is your place, though.

It feels like someone took at lot of time and attention to make something really beautiful. I had the chicken noodle and from the first bite it’s fresh flavors! Gorgeous basil with premium long and crisp bean sprouts. Adorable quail eggs. The homemade peanut sauce for the spring rolls is nicely balanced. Not too sweet or overly Americanized, and the right amount of tang and spice. Generous portions. Come hungry. Highly recommend!!

Pho 616 is one of my FAVORITE spots in the area! They have some incredible Pho that is very flavorful. I have eaten at this location 20+ times and have never had a bad experience with the food, and the service has always been great. If you do order carry out, make sure that you boil the broth for a few minutes so that it can fully cook the beef. I recommend this place to anyone who is looking to try Pho for the first time, or for anyone who enjoys some great Pho.

Great Pho! We had both beef and chicken and what a great broth. The bowl is pretty large and will leave you happily satisfied. Very clean location and the Market itself is super charming. You won’t regret eating here.

Hands down the best Pho I've had in a long time... Most certainly the best in Grand Rapids! The broth has so much flavor, the portions are big, and the beef was prepared perfectly. I will definitely be back!

Absolutely amazing. I got my order to go and by the time I got home the broth was still hot enough to cook the meat perfectly. Cannot recommend this place enough! The broth was rich, the rice noodles were perfect, and the meat was as delicious as it gets. Also highly recommend the Banh Mi! Will definitely be coming back.

Small menu, but the chicken and beef pho was phenomenal. Very clean and the staff was polite when ordering, but were openly on their phones while we were eating there. Because it was our first time there we had questions we felt we couldn't ask because they were too occupied with their phones. All around enjoyable and I would go again.

Went to Pho 616 today for lunch. I was blown a way by the freshness of their food. Their Spring rolls are delicious and their dipping sauce is amazing. If you ever go down to the downtown market give them a try

High quality Pho but the cost of rent to have a shop at the downtown market is definetly effecting the menu prices. There are at least 2 places a few miles south, towards Wyoming MI where can get the same, if not better quality, for half the price and twice the portion sizes. Still, I'm glad to see a quality Pho place in downtown GR for convenience. I just hope they are considering increasing their portion sizes if they can't lower the prices. Adding more broth with slightly more noodles shouldn't break the bank.

I give 3 stars b/c the broth was very good. However, I won't be back. Boiled gray meat is not my thing. The spring rolls are made with farmed shrimp from Thailand :( and that cannot be pork belly. I LOVE port belly. This tasted like dried out turkey. $15 for 2 rolls & a bowl of noodle soup is kind of steep, & I eat at the market all the time. Again, if this is your thing go for it.

Ordered through Door Dash, which I usually never do and was very impressed by how everything was packaged and how fresh and great tasting the food was. Highly recommend the chicken pho. I will definitely order from them again and can’t wait to try new dishes!

This is hands down my favorite Pho ever. The broth is so flavorful and the meatballs are the tastiest I've ever had, they don't have tendons in their meatballs which is a huge plus for me. They are flavorful and very satisfying. They're Banh Mi is also delicious (borderline addictive). Pho 616 makes for an incredible meal, specially pho for breakfast on a chilly day. I highly recommend Pho 616 if you're looking for a flavorful, bomb a** meal.

First review! So here go.... Visited on their second day of being open. Menu is priced well for the great quality for which you get. Gluten free option available with the pho. Clean, open environment. My pho was prepared very quickly and had great flavor. Staff was very nice and friendly. Id recommend to a friend.

I love Pho's. We go there as often as we can. This vist however, I must say, the noodles in the Spring Roll were hard and straw like . Not edible, +meaning hard to chew and swallow. We will be back though... ❤

This place has quick, affordable, and authentic Vietnamese food. The spring rolls are an amazing snack. The Bahn Mí always hit the spot. Don't forget to try the coffee for a sweet end to your delicious meal. An instant favorite for me.

Review from someone who's never tried pho before... I thought the pho was very good. The broth had a nice depth of flavor. The thin slices of beef were very tender. It also had some slices of what appeared to be a beef sausage, which was nice... I preferred the thin slices of beef over the sausage, though. The fresh sprouts and green onions gave a welcome textural contrast to the beef and noodles. I also tried their Vietnamese coffee. I drink a lot of coffee; however I've never tried Vietnamese coffee. For me, it was too sweet. The flavor was good, not bitter. But I couldn't finish the cup because of how sweet it was. I visited during lunch on Monday. There was a steady stream of visitors. They were able to take my order and fill it quickly. I will definitely be back for the pho.

Got the beef pho. It had a very good broth, but the beef and the balls were blah. No flavor and sort of tasted old. Good choices of Asian canned juice. Little too pricey for the $7 I normally spend on a bowl of pho. There’s way better on the south side. I won’t be back, but this is a good place for those who never had pho before.

This place has been my go to comfort food since I moved here in May. Their menu is small, but delicious. I highly recommend their chicken pho, which has always been made from really high quality white meat and fresh vegetables.

The most AMAZING Pho around!! I get the beef and order a side of shrimp rolls with the peanut sauce to die for!! So fresh tasting and the consistency is always there!

The food is really delicious and the soup is filling! Trying the different drinks is fun. The waiter seemed to be irritated when you mispronounce the food items (haha). Pricey for a soup and sandwich, but it's more than enough food for a dinner.

I love the eco friendly concept! A little pricey but being a restaurant in downtown you would expect it to be a little more on the expensive side. The broth tasted great and didn’t overpower anything. All in all 8/10 would recommend!

My wife is vietnamese and this is one of 3 places in a two hour radius that satisfies her craving for Pho. And the ONLY place that satisfies her craving for Banh Mi. Very authentic and delicious!

I visited Pho 616 on for the first time yesterday and I loved it. I ordered the bahn mi and the beef Pho. Goood food at a reasonable price.

Limited menu and the bowls felt cheap , pho and coffee tasted good but I'd rather drive somewhere else for more authentic vietnamese food and a wider menu
