Got lunch here to go. Service was excellent with a very friendly person taking my order. It took longer than I'd like to get my order, but it was lunchtime, so very understandable. Prices seem high, but the food itself is excellent, so decide for yourself. Would go again.

I still dream of this place... I don't live in ND anymore, but my god these are the best sandwiches I've ever tasted in my life! And the FRIES!! I'm ready to drive the 400+ miles just to have one blissful bite. I used to get one every Friday. When I first discovered this place I had one every night for a week.

When I was in town…..I was recommended this place from a friend, so I decided to try it out for lunch! Doesn't look like much when you walk in but don't let that fool you because the food is good! I ordered the small #4 - Cordon Bleu sub meal which had (Chicken Breast, Grilled Ham, Honey Mustard, Mayo, Swiss Cheese, Tomatoes & Lettuce). I got it without Mayo and lettuce. The small sub and fries is a perfect amount for lunch. I couldn't even finish the fries. The staff was very friendly and had nothing but good vibes! The reason I'm giving a 4 star is because the presentation of the food. Even though it was really good it looked like it was just slapped together. It was a little greasy and very messy, but over all I enjoyed the food and the staff! Would recommend to others!

Very tasty food, quick cooking visible on the flatops, unique for the area, good place to sit and chat and catch up with people at the time we visited not too busy. do recommend. Getting the large meal is like getting 2 meals, food reheats well.

Original post: Food is delicious, but it took 46 minutes to get 2 sandwiches and the shop wasn't super busy. Wouldn't have been as big of a deal had I not seen employees standing around texting on their phones while I waited... and waited. At least it was tasty. -- Edit: Went back today months later and the service was super quick and on top of it. Very polite and friendly. Food was delicious as usual, and you get a LOT of it! I'm guessing my long wait last time was just a fluke, because we typically have great luck, and tonight was great as usual. I think next time I will skip my usual order, the Philly, and try the Barnyard instead, which sounds awesome!

Love the subs here, but the fries are SEVERELY lacking. I've given them multiple chances, going right when they open up, and my fries always taste burnt and oversalted. While I do understand the need to cook them so they are done in the middle, they could easily pull them out earlier and them still be done. Also, the staff wasn't wearing masks, we are still in a pandemic!!! Disappointing to see.

The South University store is the best one. They have more (and better) sandwich options. Their fries are great, but ya gotta eat em right away. They have a VERY short lifespan. We have noticed that since COVID the wait times are excruciatingly long if you order in house. All in all, highly recommended.

One of the best subs I've had, but only if the actual chef is around. If not dont even bother to try and order. I was watching the kid prepare my sub and there was no seasoning, chicken was minced and bland.

Sandwich was great. Service was quick. Most of the tables needed to be clean. Major health code violation - individual cooking stopped to take our order...punched order into machine, took our money with gloves on, made change, then went back to cooking....ever heard of changing gloves after handling money? Otherwise great experience.

Good during the week, however there is rougher/slower service during the weekend. Love the chicken cordon blue sandwich. My husband always gets the Cajun chicken ranch sandwich. They always do a good job on our subs, sometimes you might have to wait a bit but I'm ok with that. Their cookies are really good too when they're fresh.

Open grill cooking up fresh ingredients. I love how everything is made fresh and to order. They even bake their own bread. Everything about this place is fresh. Chicken, beef, everything starts raw and is cooked right in front of you. Their fries are amazing as well, double fried and seasoned while hot. They also have cold subs if you're in the mood for that.

If you haven't been to this place you're not from here just saying. They do grilled subs and fresh cut fries. The staff is great and you can tell they like what they do. I've meet the owner a few times and he's just great too. This is a great locally owned place in Fargo Morehead with multiple locations.

One of my favorite sandwich shops in FM. Some of the best fries in town. Expect 5-10 minutes for your good. The Philly is my favorite and my wife loves the vegetarian.

Tons of different subs with some of the best fries I’ve had. I prefer over Firehouse and Subway. It’s a smaller place, so I was in and out within ten minutes, always look forward to eating there.

The best chicken cordon bleu in town and excellent fries. Even though it is probably considered fast casual, if you go during peak hours, expect to wait up to 15 minutes for your sandwich.

The GJ in Moorhead is light-years better food wise. The customer service is pretty much the same at both establishment's. Not sure why there is such a disconnect from one to the other in regards to the food.

I live on the East Coast but always need to stop in for a Cajun Ranch Chicken or a Chicken Cordon Blue when I'm back in town visiting family. These subs are better than any I've had out here in Philly.

I like the bread on their sandwiches, but whoa watch out, their sandwiches are often wicked salty. Their signature 'grand junction' chicken sandwich is way too salty. If you have a problem with high blood pressure and need to watch your sodium intake then beware.
