Never met a Snarf’s I didn’t like, and the Cap Hill location is no exception. First time visiting the “new” side now that Snarf Burger is next door and Snarfs moved into the former laundromat. Consistency and character is what will have me coming back again and again.

I’ve been coming to this place since I lived in Austin and found it!! Honestly their sandwiches are some of the best ever!! Their brand is adorable and there commentary on everything and advertising it’s just absolutely hilarious! They have an adorable mobile car, you can order mobile orders before even going in - their customer service is amazing and their sandwiches are very affordable!!

When you are tired of the same old chain sub sandwich shop, Snarf's Sandwiches steps in to take the reins. Employees are making sandwiches up front and seem perpetually busy, but are on point getting food in your saliva drooling mouth hole. They don't try and offer every topping under the sun but stay focused at making delicious foods that hits the spot! Mmmm mmm

Snarf’s makes me drool if I just hear the name of it. This is by far my favorite sandwich shop in all the lands. The bread is legit, they toast it perfectly, and their service is fast and friendly. My order every time: Italian on White Bread with everything but NO hot peppers and EXTRA MAYO BABY!! And they just knock it outta the park every friggin’ time. Plus, they are right next to their sister store SnarfBurger - so if you wanna deli sandwich and your buddy wants a burger - y’all can both be satisfied. Plus there is indoor and outside seating. Totally travels well. But it won’t last long CUZ ITS SO DANG GOOD.

I ordered a pro Italian sandwich sans cheese and it was enough to share it with my teenager. It was delicious. Four thumbs up! The staff was friendly I didn't have to wait long.

I had their roast beef and found it to be a bit bland. The prices are bit high for sandwiches. I believe I paid 14 for a foot long? No drink, just the sandwich. Despite that, the staff seemed to be orderly and clean when preparing everything. Service was quick.

Delicious! They'd have weekly purchases from me but...won't use delivery services. They used to deliver in house, was always fast and still warm. I'd much rather give a big tip directly to delivery person. Not corporate entities that are taking over.

I may be absolutely oblivious, but I was unaware until today that they utilize Doordash for their delivery. We ordered food about two hours before close, it was an $11 delivery fee (plus extra for tip), and the driver didn't tell us they'd silently left it at our door long enough for everything to be completely cold by the time we realized. I realize much of this is Doordash's fault, but if I'd known that's who they use for delivery, I likely wouldn't have placed the order, so Snarf's gets a chunk of the blame. The food is usually really good, but this time was disappointing for sure. Pick it up yourselves, y'all.

Snarf's is a local legend, started in Boulder in 1996 and still going strong despite the vagaries of the sandwich biz. I was introduced to Snarf's one summer afternoon by my daughter. She asked that I bring her here when she had to make a lunch-run for her coworkers. Later, I came back on my own! I could write about Snarf's interesting sandwiches and the fresh-chopped, just-baked, oh-so-premium ingredients, the gluten-free and veggie options, the homemade dressings and soups, the kid-friendly approach, the interesting side dishes, the fun atmosphere of each shop, the colorful mosaics. But here's what I really want to pass along: there's a "Not On The Menu" Menu! (Cue dramatic music!) These are special specialty items, created by team members or customers over the years. They have options that you can't find at other shops, such as BBQ Beef Brisket, Pastrami, Prime Rib, New York Strip, Etc. Pricey, but worth it in moderation. There is a secret sandwich menu- ask for it!

First time checking Snarf's out. Ordered a meatball sub. Nice toasty crunch bread but soft on the inside. Could have used a little more sauce in my opinion. Also never a big fan of chopping meatballs. When you quarter them they technically no longer count as a Meat-BALL any more.

The hot and sweet burger is really epic. I suggest 1 patty; otherwise the heat and the sweet ratio moves down in scale. The chicken Sammy is fried. I was hoping for grilled. No biggie though. I wish they would do medium rare; if they did it would move them solidly into best burger in Denver territory. Also worth mentioning; the folks working there are always happy, helpful, and pleasant. I hope they get paid a livable wage and always tip them!!! (Maybe if we tip enough they'll stop w that well done rule).

The atmosphere is very unique and the staff accompany that vibe, it’s a loud and bustling place. They were consistently busy making orders back to back. The people that have issues with service have never worked in a restaurant let alone a busy one, yet still lack empathy for the industry, and just expect staff to kneel at their feet and to be pampered with everything for their money. To me the service was quick and straightforward, just the way it should be at a walk up order place. There are no white table cloths at this place if you can’t already tell. 11/10 for service and speed. The sandwiches were amazing and style and variety of available toppings was great as well. You can tell they use high quality house made bread and ingredients here. Very spot on with the pricing for what you get as well. This is a great spot for lunch and sandwiches and it’ll be my go to for a long time.

Tasty gluten free sandwich options on actual sandwich rolls! They have a full gluten free menu (posted on the side of the wall - I didn't notice it at first). I got a ham and swiss and based on how good the gf sandwich was, I bet their regular sandwiches are pretty good, too. Fast and friendly service as well

Snarf’s on Capital Hill has become my favorite sub shop in Denver and that says a lot. Being from the Northeast I am very picky about subs. The sandwiches are stuffed with meat and cheese just like the subs I remember in NYC. The meats and cheeses are very fresh and quality cuts too! The bread is really good and the toppings are always fresh. The staff is friendly and attentive, the vibe is always upbeat but chill. The Snarfburger next door is pretty awesome too.

Pretty good pastrami sandwich. They say there's cheese on there but it just disappears. The bread was good and crunchy toasty. Potato salad had zero flavor. Was it from cans or precooked potatoes and an indescribable white sauce that wasn't mayonnaise. I went up and got some of the brown mustard and that helped. There was one shred of carrot in it but no egg. The guy taking orders at the cash register was slow as can be. He had nine people backed up and no sense of urgency. Even the sandwich guys were standing around looking at him. It wasn't the cleanest on the dining room side either.

Love the sandwiches and selection here. I only wish there were more locations! They do a great job at building the sandwich too, which you appreciate after visiting a few fast food sandwich places. There is an ample amount of meat if that's how you like it, I'm sure you can ask them to go easy, love not having to ask for more though. I've been twice to two different locations so far and had a good experience. I'll go back!

I’ve gone to Snarfs for years and love their food! I moved and was visiting for the weekend and stopped by this location. Most of the staff was friendly but there was an error in my order and the person behind the counter was unbelievably rude, said it wasn’t on the ticket and doubted me, then obnoxiously said he couldn’t hear me w my mask on - which he could, rolled his eyes, threw the wrong item in the side, then picked it up to put the right ingredients in it, forgot the avocado I paid extra for and threw it in the counter said it was ready and walked away. I was terrified he messed w my food and was so surprised w how unbelievable rude and nasty he was to me so quickly. Ive worked in the service industry before and know how stressful it can be, by yeesh what an attitude. Lost a customer for life

One of my favorite sandwich shops. Everything about the sandwich is good, starting with the perfectly toasted bread and finishing with the hot peppers and other condiments. They have a great selection of cold and hot sandwiches. My favorites are the Italian, the new York steak and the prime rib. My daughter is a big fan of the artichoke feta, adding some roasted chicken. They aren't Subway quick, so give yourself a few minutes. They are always worth the wait.

Really good sandwich! I ordered online (so easy) but it wasn't ready when I arrived. It was busy and I was patient. About 40 minutes after ordering I asked about it and they just said it wasn't ready and sort of brushed me off. Fifty minutes after ordering I asked again and was told they were having problems with the online process, and they started making the sandwich. When I got it, it was really good. The manager said he'd refund me but it'd take a few days. It only took about 90 minutes for the refund, thank you! Food is really good and even though service was a bit rough they took care of me. This treatment will ensure I keep going there for a great meal. I'm glad I didn't comp myself a bag of chips.

I've adjusted my review from 2 stars to 5 stars. My initial review was advising people against going to this location due to the dangerous encampment that had set up on the sidewalk out front that the city let fester for months on end. The city has now cleared the camp. This business was hurt by the encampment not only in lost business, but with the employees being constantly harassed by the people in the encampment. Please visit this cap hill location and give them your business and some much needed friendly patronage! They sure need it after their ordeal the last few months!!

I wanted to leave a review after just my second time placing a group order with the Cap Hill Snarf's. They are absolutely amazing! I do a lot of catering orders as part of my job and I was ordering from a different unnamed chain sandwich shop. That other shop majorly messed up 3 different orders and I was just done. I decided to try out Snarf's, having frequently ordered from there myself. I was not disappointed! They are fast, reliable, accommodating and delicious. Everyone in the group agreed that this is the best lunch we've had so far. We'll be ordering from here a lot!

Love, love, love Snarf's Sandwiches! I believe there are now 3 locations, and I am glad one of them is so close to our house, YAY! But, that could be a bad thing? Nope, it's a good thing! All of their sandwiches are toasted, on white or wheat bread (you can't go wrong with either choice), and the sandwich is made fresh, right there, with your choice from the given list of toppings. The inside is fun and colorful! There is usually a wait, so call ahead and place your order. Or, they have delivery within a certain delivery area. Good sandwiches, also salads too. Parking is free! See you there! Yummy!

The sandwiches are so so so good. I love the the pickled veggies and the toasted bread. The best part is that Snarf's is the way they treat their staff. Snarf's hires a cleaning company to clean the restrooms so the cooks etc. Can focus on the food and not the $#/+

Very good burgers and sandwiches. The French fries are nicer than McDonald's, they pepper them. Reasonably priced and lots of add-ons to burgers (grilled onions, mushrooms, avocado, bacon etc.) We go all the time! The only thing is I don't quite understand why they ask for a tip on the bill, there is no wait staff and it makes you feel pressured to leave a tip. Don't think that's fair. I've noticed a lot of places do that now.

Had great service and food here. Phone in ordering was quick, the person on the other end was attentive and thorough. Received exactly what I ordered so I know it was communicated down the line well. I was told 15 minutes until it was ready. It was ready by then if not a little before (I might have taken a tad longer than 15 to get there.). I needed to order an extra sandwich once I was there and they made that up pretty quickly as well. Everyone I interacted with was friendly, helpful, and nice. Price vs. quality/quantity is very good. I usually order the large, pro, size sandwich but once I eat it I realize I should have ordered the medium, Snarf, size. I am just used to smaller sandwiches from other companies. I have gone to other Snarf's but none compare to the CapHill store. Food is usually as good but the staff and the service are nowhere near as good. There is a closer store but the staff attitude is enough to make it worth my time and energy to go a little further to CapHill. Thanks all.

I love snarls and have always loved them since I lived in boulder 8 years ago. They never fail to disappoint. You can tell by the weight of their sandwiches and the absolute deliciousness of their bread. Best sandwich bread I've ever had. They're a little more expensive than some but it's well worth it. One of the better sandwich shops around. I would rate it a 5, but, it's a sandwich shop. I love that all of their sandwiches are toasted. Love that! I love their Portabella Sandwich, as well as the BLT, Heck, I like the majority of the sandwiches. I also love that you can pick and choose what you want on the sandwich, from their list of toppings, such as pickles, lettuce, tomatoes, oil and seasoning, etc. The parking lot is small, very small, so you will have to park on the street somewhere. I like the bright various colors on the walls inside the restaurant, and the bright green plastic chairs. The interior is bright and inviting. It can be noisy inside, but that's ok too. They also deliver! What more could you ask for?!

I love Snarfs. They are definitely a higher quality sandwich than your typical Jimmy Johns or Subway sandwich. Order online to avoid the longer wait times. Reason for them losing a perfect score is staff can sometimes be hit or miss if they seem to care and the long wait if you forgot to order online.

Just a WALK from Cheeseman Park. Great place & Great food. They also deliver. Their sandwiches are great, they come with ALL the goodies, sauces & toppings at no extra charge. Always get the Sprouts! I still have yet to try their tuna salad. Their chicken salad is very bland, nothing too crazy. They allow you to get different size sandwiches which is nice for your own stomach size.

Good, unique sandwiches. It's weird that you can't get their "specialty" sandwiches as a small (only medium or large) and it's even weirder that you can't get a cold sandwich (something about the bread having to finish baking in the oven). Speaking of baked, did I mention the staff? Still, all in all, a pretty tasty sandwich.

Went the 11th and Ogden location and the promoting the grand opening by giving away free everything. I got a single cheese burger, fries and vinilla shake. Burger was a little over cooked and a bit dry BUT, they were very busy what with them giving away free food. Very good fries, very good shake and burger. Service also good. Great prices for what you get. Looking forward to going back once they settle in. Good music too.

Snarfs is awesome. The staff, the food, everything. If you're new to Denver, Snarfs is sort of a staple and you should give it a try. Also, the negative reviews on here are clearly all made by certifiably insane people - they can't be taken seriously. That's just the reality of running a business in Cap Hill.

My fav sub shop in Denver for a few reasons: 1) the bread is just the right texture, has a crunch, chewy, and without tearing the roof of your mouth like some other places 2) the meat - I get the prime rib it is fabulous. 3) the toppings are great,they have their own hots for folks into that, and horseradish sauce goes so well with the prime rib. Highly recommend taking someone here for a sub experience the way it should be

Still the best sandwich shop in Denver. I'm a fan of the roast beef and provolone. Usually the beef is still nice and med rare, sometimes slightly overdone but the taste is always top notch. Bread is crusty but not painfully so. Grab a shake for the full value visit!

Normally love Snarf's, and I keep wanting this location to be fine, but I've had multiple SLOOOW experiences here. It sometimes takes 30 minutes to get your sandwich - even when you order ahead of time online! Avoid this location. Edit: they've gotten better, but be warned!

I love their Sammy’s and everyone knows they take a while to make them, however, the last two times I’ve called ahead 15 mins before and showed up I had to wait 10-20 mins for my sandwich. Seems excessive if I’ve called ahead and was given a 15 min eta. I also witnessed a customer asking for a refund because she had to wait so long. Lots of people behind the counter making mass orders so not sure what’s going on. Hopefully they get it together soon.

After work some friends and I stopped by for dinner, 6 person's total. Like the dog friendly patio. 4 of the 6 sandwiches were spot on, the 2 French Dip's were not. Flavor was great, meat was un-chewable, had too many tendons and was very under cooked and so tough. Bread, cheese, and au jau was very flavorful and hot. Too bad. I will try again but I will be cautious.

I have discovered that it is best to call in your order or order online because of their high volume. It makes it difficult for them to quickly serve sandwiches to walk in customers, as they are already making a bunch for online and delivery. That being said, their product is AMAZING.. I just ate the philly cheese steak for the first time and it was one of the best sandwiches I have ever eaten. the italian is great, as is prime rib. the zapps chips are far superior to lays, and they have ice cream..which i haven't tried. Be prepared to spend a little more than your used to, but the end result is well worth it.

The portobello/provalone sandwich I had here was one of the best sandwiches I think I've ever eaten! At first, the price looked a little high (~$12 for a footlong)... but it was well worth it! Fresher than Subway, toastier than Quiznos, and just better than Jimmy Johns all around! The menu was quite extensive, so I look forward to going back.

Went in on a whim at about 5 minutes to noon. Ordered the Italian 7" sandwich. It took like 25 minutes to get it made and I was starting to get a little bummed. But I got it and sank my teeth into it and man-o-man was it delicious. I did ding you a star for the wait, if I had it in ten minutes, that would be a 5 star review.

My roommate has been raving about this place for the past month. I decided we should finally go check it out. It's nestled in Capital Hill in Denver, Colorado on 12 the Ave.. As we walked up the street and I glanced up I noticed the sign posted on the outside of the building. It was very trendy and sported a fun appearance. It made me feel kinda giddy as if this was going to be a fun adventure my roommate had the look on his face like a little kid going to the amusement park. Walking inside there was the ambiance alternative music flowing through the air. As I glanced around the bright and vivid colored room I noticed several very cool upscale dressed customers. All whom were laughing and carrying on having a great time. For such a cold snowy morning it made me smile. There were posters all over the walls and windows supporting musical talent from the Filmore and the Ogden which are.classic concert venues located a few blocks north on Colfax Avenue The menu is bright colored and the choices vary from avacado and veggi subs to New York strip steak. I seteled for the Prime Time (prime rib and provalone) with all the fixings. They offer various bread types all home baked and the aromas that flow through this place are absolutely wonderful!! The offer regular sized 7" and large 12" (I chose the 12") The employees were all laughing and horsing around and seemed to be enjoying their afternoon. As I unrolled the wrapping paper on my Prime Time sub sandwich I knew it was going to be half now and half for supper and I was right about that. Boy was it good! Shaun (my roommate was correct and I have to agree with him %200). Snarf's also offer a serve yourself drink bar so refills were unlimited. As I finished half of my sandwich I felt content. I walked around and looked at some pictures. I realized that Snarf's isn't the first. Their sister restaurant is called The Shack and is located in Boulder Colorado. Not being from Boulder I had no idea. The restrooms were clean and all in all I loved it and I'll be back. 😁

But irritation is hard to ignore when I try to order from their website at 730pm and site is closed for online ordering (too late in the evening). This is at least the 3rd time we've forgotten about this b.s. I'll try to never forget again. When looking for delivery past 4pm (cough, unlike a grandpa)...don't waste your time. When wanting to eat and looking for subs....walk there. Sure, I could head on over to the joint by foot. But there are too many other online shops available. 3rd time (that's a minimum) Snarf's has lost my sale
