Nice quaint coffee and sandwich shop located on main Street on the south side of the Capital. Staff is friendly and courteous. Restaurant is clean throughout. Food comes out quickly and everything is fresh and tasty and healthy.

The best local lunch, coffee & chill spot in Columbia! I love the vibe, service, food and set up. Downstairs is so intimate for reading, writing, studying and the upstairs is a great spot to meet friends or coworkers for a quick bite that is fresh and delicious! The pumpernickel bread was just -- WOW. Delightful hidden gem in Cola!

I believe this is the best coffee shop in Columbia, SC. I believe this for three reasons: 1. Reliable drinks - the drink I order tastes the same every time I order it. 2. Fresh beans- they roast the coffee beans in the basement . 3. Pricing - for a coffee shop, their prices are reasonable. I love going into this coffee shop for a variety of drinks and enjoying the atmosphere.

I fell in love with this place as soon as I walked in! The atmosphere and overall vibe are unique. I had the iced mocha and it was hands down some of the best coffee I've ever had. My friend and I were talking about It for a solid hour because it was just that next level. There is a "secret" downstairs area that I absolutely loved! The floorboards upstairs creek each time a person takes a step which could annoy some, in my opinion however, it adds character. I highly recommend it :)

Very cool place! Had a grunge hipster vibe and really good food for a great price. Although it’s close to campus it is not overrun with students. Seems to be a crowd of professors and those working at the capital building. Also has convenient parking in back of building

Favorite coffee shop in Columbia! The atmosphere an d vibe are great and the coffee is even better. The shop is located right near the heart of the University of South Carolina campus making it a great spot for students to get their daily dose of caffeine, grab some delicious food and get some studying done without going out of their way. The baristas are also amazing! I've seen them remember drink orders for their regular customers more times than not. They are cheerful every time I go in there and always make me the perfect drink. The only downside is they aren't open on the weekends!

The fact that the place is almost always crowed during lunch hour should tell you something. Over the past several years, I have fallen for the turkey green apple sandwich on pita. The staff has always responded to my dietary needs for substitution and is always friendly. Immaculate is my favorite lunch stop. Not a coffee drinker but love the aroma of the coffee beans.

I could eat here every single day! They have the best turkey and white cheddar croissant I've ever had. Everyone is very friendly, and if you're a regular and you have a regular order, they remember you! Make sure you try the pasta as your side. It's amazing.

I love this place. I wish they were open in the evenings, bc I have such a hard time arranging to get lunch their when I visit colimbia. Their pasta salad is amazing. I love their roast beef horseradish sandwich on a croissant. I also wish there was more seating available. It can sometimes be hard to find a place to sit.

This place has great food and a nice decor. I got one of the turkey sandwiches and it was yummy. I was in the downstairs and I didn't require much service so I rated that option as good. The place is very popular so expect wait times for seating and scope out parking before you come.

If you are downtown, especially on campus, and you need a coffee or a good sandwich, this is a solid choice. The atmosphere is great as well, although it can get a bit crowded some days. Check out the daily specials board, they have a turkey Reuben occasionally that is out of sight.

Went for the Banh-M special on Wednesday. It was fine but so far from an authentic sandwich that I was craving. Thankfully/regrettably due to my waistline, I found an authentic place with a perfect sandwich 10 minutes from my house. Ten Ten Oriental has an amazing sandwich for half the price of Immaculate, although that has NO bearing on my review.

Loved the toasted multi-grain bread on my turkey and green apple sandwich. Cranberry scone was pretty good. Not a coffee drinker so I can't comment there. Parking is extremely limited and can be a challenge.

Good food, though a limited selection. Coffee is great, atmosphere is great, and the staff are super nice and very helpful. I love coming here because its close to campus, tasty, and just a nice environment to do work and hang out.

What's not to love about Immac? I've been here a number of times. Besides the great service, I think the best thing about the location is the character of the building and the big windows up front. I love. that. The great coffee is a no-brainer.

Solid coffee, and the egg and cheese with roasted peppers was very good and a generous portion. All seating uses old church pews the store was very (unusually) clean. I would use this place as an example of what a coffee shop can be.

A go to spot for coffee or lunch, Imacc (as many refer to it) features inspired sandwiches and fresh brewed coffees from all over the world. Visit the coffee beanery downstairs to buy the freshest beans in Columbia. Vegetarian options available. Dine in, sit on the sidewalk, or take out. Steps from the State House and USC, Imacc is popular with legislators, staffers, students, and professors. Gets busy for lunch, but the staff are fast.

I have always liked Immaculate Consumption. In this COVID-era, they have put excellent precautions, such as having tables separated a little apart from each other, limiting done in to 1hour, and requiring masks. they also have sanitizing gel at the door for when you walk in and walk out. Their drinks are just as good as pre-COVID-era.

I’m not local and it’s my first time at the coffee shop. What I love: *They made home made syrups for coffee, so if you are like me, who doesn’t like artificial syrups you’ll love their homemade syrups *Good coffee * Pleasant atmosphere *Super friendly and helpful girl at the register What I don’t like: * My table had trash from previous visitors and when an employee brought me my food, he just grabbed the food baskets but he left?dirty mags and napkins and he never came back to clean it completely. So I ended up to seating and then partially cleaned table * My croissant beef sandwich was ok. Next time would definitely try something else. * Also no one asked me what side I would like and they just brought me chips. However ,I saw on the menu that they have different sides. *Bathroom door lover was broke, so no way to use bathroom I still give five stars because overall it’s a very decent coffe shop and I know it’s not easy to run a small business like this! By the amount of people visiting it I can say it’s a very popular place. As they say :There is always room to grow
