Fancy That catered my daughter's wedding and the food was delicious! Everyone raved about it. Harvey was great to work with and easy to get in touch with. He is very quick to respond to emails. All in all a wonderful event!

Met friends here and most of us had lasagna & salad special. One had the Chicken bog and raved about how good it was. Yesterday I enjoyed the ten fried shrimp w/onion rings. All crispy and delicious because they were breaded and fried here to order. Next week I plan to get lasagna again!

Come here! This is a small local favorite! You can get a good meal (breakfast or lunch)) that doesn't cost an arm and a leg. It's not a fancy hipster place, nor would I consider it a hole-in-the-wall. It's cozy and clean. The service makes me feel like I'm in a small family-owned diner that cares about everyone that walks through the door.

Updated May 2019: My husband and I still come here for the best breakfast in Columbia!! Every Saturday after Soda City veggie pick up. Can’t beat the price and friendly service. My husband and I go to Fancy That! for Saturday breakfast as often as possible. Great coffee and even better food for a price you just cannot complain about. But recently we had them cater our wedding here in Columbia, South Carolina and I have to admit they blew us away. The food was amazing. They also handled our bar as well and we were very happy with everything they provided. Fantastic service and again at a great price. We just love Fancy That! and recommend them to everyone we can. Best Chocolate Covered Strawberries EVER!!!

Busy place with fast and friendly service. I had the French Toast with fresh fruit on the side and bacon. The presentation was very good. I liked the French Toast and loved the taste and crispness of the bacon. The fruit was not fresh, grapes and pineapples so I didnt care for it. It is a small place connected to a parking garage and major hotel downtown Columbia. The staff was warm and welcoming. The prices are equitable and they do have multiple options for breakfast, brunch and lunch. I do recommend this spot.

I met my daughter for lunch, she had been ranting and raving about the place. She was right, it is great. I have the Columbia Cheesesteak with chicken, delicious! The service was fast, friendly, and our order was exact. You should definitely eat here!

Was super at communication up to the event. I priced around and their pricing was the best, especially for what you get and their variety of options. We had a brunch wedding so we had shrimp and grits as the main and they provided a bloody mary/ mimosa bar. I have received SO many compliments on the food and I have already had friends book them for jobs. They were also outside on the hottest day of the year and didn't complain once- they were pleasant the entire time! Would definitely recommend and will use again in the future!

Excellent food in a no-frills, diner-like locale. Fairly small with limited seating. Foam plates & plastic dinnerware. Reasonable prices. Shrimp and Grits had plenty of Shrimp, spiced just right, and creamy grits. French toast was regular bread (not the thick kind) but was four slices. Breakfast wraps had onions and peppers and was very tasty. Sunday morning crowd was mainly college students.

This place has moved to St. Julian Place in Middleburg. I believe they are occupying a commercial kitchen in one of the residential buildings. They are a welcome addition. I believe they currently do take home meals and of course catering. But they are also doing home cooking lunch deliveries in the area for $10. You get a drink, a daily special, cheeseburger, or salad and a dessert and they bring it to you. Great deal. Food is home cooking like your mama makes it but significantly higher quality than Lizards Thicket.

Nestled in an alley off of Hampton street in Columbia SC is a gem of a restaurant. We saw signs for the restaurant while shopping at the Soda Market. We were welcomed by friendly staff. We ordered the double Mimosas. I got the Shrimp and Grits with fried green tomatoes (my first time trying the tomatoes. It was worth the wait for a seat.

A Delicious Surprise! 2 thumbs up to Fancy That Bistro. I was looking for a grillled chicken sandwich with something other than fries as a side. Less than 10 min wait placing my order in restaurant and during peak lunchtime demand. Fresh, hot grilled chicken that tasted great and wasn't smothered in spices. Absolutely incredible fried okra - fresh, not greasy - my mom would have been proud to serve. And lucky me!-chocolate brownie with fudge icing. OH my gosh good!

My wife and I come here every Saturday morning after getting vegetables from Soda City Farmers Market. Hands down they’ve got some of the best breakfast in Columbia. Their pimento cheese is awesome, and goes really well on a bacon egg and cheese croissant.

A really cute hole in the wall! My French toast was fantastic, and my mom loved her shrimp in grits. The prices are great and the staff is sweet. I'm definitely going back!

This is a great little hidden away diner style cafe. Wonderful flavors and great prices for some good comfort food. A new go-to place for solid tastes and atmosphere. Wish I had found it sooner.

Harvey, the owner was a great host. Very friendly and attentive. The waitress was so sweet. Even though it was crazy busy. She always smiled and courteous. Will definitely be back!!

Breakfast was great. French toast was excellent. Mimosa with grapefruit juice, lovely. My omelette was banging. Unfortunately, they ran out of pancake batter, but the French toast seniority made up for it

I was recently in Columbia, South Caroina for Hurricane Florence and needed to feed 44 tree men . Not only did they accommodate us, they also opened early and stayed open 3-4 hours late every night to make sure that all of my men were feed. The food was always delicious and the staff were amazing, especially Harvey the owner, Marissa and Britley. A big thank you from all of us at Tress LLC. I recommend this little bistro to everyone. You will not be disappointed. Amazing staff and amazing food.
