Ravi and his team assisted us with staffing the event including bartenders, they also stocked the bar with all the non-alcoholic needs we had, and rentals. The staff was very professional and worked so quickly. They were so helpful throughout the day, and I would book them again if we had an event. We booked Chic Chef in 2019 for our September 2020 wedding, which was rescheduled for September 2021 due to COVID. So many things changed over the course of our wedding planning process, but never once did I regret my choice of caterer! Ravi and his team were ultra flexible, ultra responsive, and incredibly easy to work with. I started with a basic buffet package and ended up adding rentals, switching to family style, adding more items to the menu, and purchasing a bar package. They rolled with the punches and were incredibly kind as my wedding plans changed with the changing situation. When I arrived at the venue on the day of the wedding, I couldn’t believe how beautiful the rentals looked. I had ordered several colors of linens and everything was exactly as I imagined. We knew we loved the food from the first moment we sampled it, but we kept hearing it again and again from guests. I heard things like, “My wife told me to stop making moaning sounds while I was eating the chicken, but it was so good I couldn’t!” and, “I stole some stuffed mushrooms off the appetizer plate at the head table and then realized they were for you; sorry, I couldn’t control myself!” In addition to being delicious, the team worked hard to keep the wedding on schedule. Food came out quickly and looked beautiful and we were right on time to start dancing. Perhaps the most unique thing about Chic Chef is just how wonderful every single member of the team was, not just to us, but to all of our guests! People were especially complimentary of the bartenders -- Alex and Jonathan -- who were so friendly and incredibly accommodating to special requests. The staff also made me, my husband, and our families feel like royalty! Anytime they saw me doing anything for myself they offered to do it for me -- even helping to pack up gifts at the end of the night. Glasses were always full and more food was always available before we even requested it; Chic Chef made sure that I was not one of those brides who never got a bit of food at her wedding! I’m already dreaming of the next time I can use Chic Chef for a special event! I have no doubt that whatever the occasion, whatever the menu, they will deliver incredible food and amazing customer service!

Ravi and his team were such a lovely addition to our wedding. The food was delicious and They took such wonderful care of us (my husband and I were so impressed by how often they checked in with us to make sure we had all of the food/drinks we needed). Also, the bartenders were incredible (see picture). Not everyone can pull off dancing with a mop, but Ravi’s team certainly did. :)

Wedding Event 9/24/22 – As soon as we met Ravi and his team for our very first tasting in our search for our wedding caterer, we walked away not just with full stomachs and having loved everything we tried, but also knowing we’d be in great hands if we chose to proceed with them. Chic Chef set very high standards that other caterers/tastings were going to have to measure up to. Needless to say, we had one more tasting after Chic Chef and then cancelled all other tastings. Chic Chef was the right choice from the start. & It wasn’t just the food that made our choice easy, it was also the people! Leading up to our wedding, Lucy was very responsive and super flexible with our changes! The only difficulty was narrowing down our menu because everything was so delicious! Chic Chef played a huge role in making our special day amazing and memorable! Our ceremony and reception were at the same venue and in the same room so this required a room flip, which Chic Chef executed seamlessly! During the room flip, our guests were able to enjoy a cocktail hour with delicious appetizers - between the tenderloin crostini, the quinoa stuffed peppers and the pork mini tamales, there was something to cater to everyone’s taste buds and each had their share of compliments! Likewise, our guests are still raving about the dinner (the chicken florentine with a side of brussel sprouts and Anna potatoes, and the eggplant Parmesan rolls) and the assorted mini desserts (flan and churros)! The taste as well as portion size and presentation were fantastic! My father-in-law took one bite and immediately approached our head table to let us know Chic Chef was an excellent choice! The compliments continue to roll in, one even stating they wish they had remembered to take a picture of their food before they devoured it all because it tasted as great as it looked! Apart from the food, the service was spectacular! Enrique and his team were very attentive to our guests as much as they were to us as a couple, which is all we could’ve hoped for as we wanted each guest to get the full experience of our event. The entire team was so polite, accommodating, and made us feel like royalty. They were also so much fun! It made us extremely happy to see them happy and seem like they were also having a good time being there with us. We can go on and on, but all that to say, it was a great pleasure to work with Ravi, Lucy, Enrique and the Chic Chef Team! We keep telling each other, if we could, we would relive that day all over again, and Chic Chef is a huge factor and wishing we could do so. We highly recommend their services and hope to work with them again in the future! (More photos to come...)

We hired Chic chef to help with staffing for our wedding at Greenhouse Loft, and they were excellent. All the staff were extremely professional, and helped ensure our event ran smoothly. The dinner we rented was absolutely beautiful! We also ended up running a bit behind schedule and they were great and being being flexible and accomodating. We would highly recommend their services!

We hired Chic Chef for our wedding reception as well as an event at our home the next day. We were beyond satisfied with the quality of food and the impeccable service and attention to detail. Everything at our tasting was delicious--it was hard to pick! Our wedding was outdoors and Chic Chef brought everything required to ensure that our food was timed perfectly and served at the right temperature. I honestly don't know how they did it, it was like magic. We are so glad we went with them. Ravi was great-- you can tell that he absolutely loves what he does, and he excels at it.

I honestly cannot recommend Chic Chef enough. Every single person I interacted with was incredibly helpful and clearly loved their jobs. Their food tasted delicious and the service was quick and efficient on the day of. I love how there is a twist on standard wedding food, all of the guests were blown away. Beyond their delicious food, they are organized and communicative throughout the entire planning process. The captain and crew working that day of made sure that they went above and beyond to take care of anything going wrong so that the bride and groom have a seamless day. I LOOOOOVE CHIC CHEF. They are so good at their jobs, hands down one of the best vendors at our wedding! If not, the best! They made the day so easy for me! I had some issues the day of my wedding, none of them their fault and ravi was so patient and helpful. The food was phenomenal, everyone loved it. Especially the hour d'ovuers!! Honestly, they are so well priced and accomedating. They do a wide range of food as well, we had a mexican-vietnamese wedding and our menu reflected that. Honestly, they are the best caterer. I havent tasted better food at anyone's wedding 🤣🤣💕

WHERE DO I EVEN START!? Chic Chef Catering is HANDS DOWN THE BEST! My husband and I can't say enough great things about Chic Chef they catered our wedding 9/2021. From our first time meeting, to the tasting, to picking out table cloths and colors, to our drink menu, to every aspect of our wedding it was one of the most memorable experiences for my husband and I. I love how the staff treated our guest, extremely attentive and respectful. The bartender(s) were amazing kept the guest happy and they enjoyed our signature drinks as well as the customer service. I love where I'm waiting for everyone to head to the ceremony room and I'm starving and Ravi brought me food. I'll never forget it. Thank you Ravi! Ravi if only we could've gotten a picture with you because you and your staff were absolutely phenomenal and everyone LOVED the food. Not getting a picture is one regret we have but keep being a phenomenal company because we will keep recommending you! This will not be our last time with Chic Chef.

I went with chic chef for my wedding and I’m so happy I did! The food was AMAZING, it tasted exactly the same from when I did my tasting. Based on other catering quotes I got back during my planning process Chic Chef was by far the most reasonable in price & what they offer. The day of my wedding Chic chef followed my timeline perfectly down to the minute when it came to dinner, late night snack, and dessert! The wait staff we had also made my husband and I feel like royalty- our waitress made sure many times that we were good or needed anything and also made sure we always had a fresh drink. They even set up all of mini desserts and cake that I got from another vendor( a lot of other caterers don’t do this because it’s not their product). Weeks before my wedding chic chef had me fill out a form with all the info for the event and then still had someone call me to review it and make sure nothing was missing! That really helps a bride feel at ease. Only feedback I have for chic chef would be around the communication. I would have to email them 2-3 times with questions to finally get a response. But once they responded they were amazing and always answered my questions and put my mind at ease. So just know in the end they do an amazing job with your event. But that’s my only feedback for them.

Chic Chef Catering is incredible! I used them for my wedding and they were incredible to work with. They were easy to communicate with throughout the entire process. As soon as we had the tasting, we booked with Chic Chef immediately and didn’t even try any other caterers it was that good. They met with my venue to do a final walk through a few weeks before the wedding. Day of, everything was executed flawlessly. The food was SO good. From the passed appetizers, salad, bread options, and entrees- everything was amazing. We got so many compliments from our guests raving that it was the best food they ever had at a wedding. I really loved that they offered linens as well- made it super easy for me. Thank you SO much for providing the wedding food of our dreams!

Chic Chef provided us an absolutely wonderful wedding experience. All of our guests were completely gushing, not only about how delicious everything was, but also about how polite, helpful, and friendly all of the staff members were. As the bride and groom, we were of course very busy and distracted throughout the night, and the Chic Chef team was so thoughtful, kind, and helpful - finding us throughout the night to see if we'd like a drink, asking if we'd want a plate (or more) of our appetizers sent to the bridal suite so we didn't miss out while taking pictures, the list goes on. It couldn't have gone any smoother, and we highly HIGHLY recommend them to anyone looking for a high-quality, reasonably priced caterer with absolutely DELICIOUS food and wonderful team members. Chic Chef was incredible to work with and had such a big part of making sure our day went smoothly, and the food was incredible! On top of that, the pricing is incredibly reasonable. They truly check off every box. We got so many compliments about the food from guests, which isn't always super common with other weddings I've been to! They offer such a wide selection of types of foods and we had a hard time picking our menu because there were so many great choices! We also utilized them for bar service, and the bartenders were great. Their team was so helpful in helping to set up and take down so much of our decor which I was SO very appreciative of! All of their staff members the day of our wedding were so helpful and professional, and really made sure that we were taken care of and happy. Additionally, working with them in the months leading up to the wedding was great and they made it so easy to customize things to the way we wanted! Would absolutely recommend Chic Chef to anyone planning a wedding in the Chicagoland area!

At the start, there were some hiccups in communication as Ravi was in overload, but once we started the planning, everything went very smoothly. We ordered Christmas Eve dinner for four from Chic Chef. It was very good. There was actually more than enough food for more than four. The horseradish sauce was delicious with the prime rib and everything was cooked perfectly. The mulled wine and rum balls were a great way to finish the meal. Since we picked up, everything was individually packaged and we could assemble at home. I highly recommend this place and their attention to detail will not disappoint. I attached photos(apologize as I was taken them as we are instead of playing the food for the photo). Really good meal!

Chic Chef was ABSOLUTELY incredible as our caterer and bartending service for our 160 person wedding at The Hive in Chicago a few weeks ago. Ravi and his team went above and beyond in every single phase of the process. Chic Chef was there by our side as we had to reschedule TWICE due to covid - making it as easy as possible for us so we could do the right thing for our families. Over the last few weeks before the wedding, Ravi & team made sure that everything was going to run smoothly, providing super helpful guidance from their experience doing weddings in Chicago. You want to feel how I did going into the wedding - so comforted knowing I was in great hands through all their help leading up to the wedding. The appetizers were presented beautifully and tasted amazing (tenderloin crostinis and ceviche were a hit), the food was delicious (loved the stuffed mushrooms especially!), and there was never a wait at the bar! The service was incredible throughout the night and I noticed how much they did to make sure everything was going smoothly. On top of everything, Chic Chef made it much more budget friendly - incredible value. I am so glad I chose Chic Chef and recommend them to anyone planning a wedding!

My now husband and I are so happy that we chose Chic Chef as our wedding caterer. They were very easy to work with and answered all of my stressed out bride questions even up to one day before our special day. They were willing to work with us from the beginning when we mentioned our budget concerns and provided a great environment when we did our tasting. The captain that was present on our day at Stan Mansion was absolutely amazing! He was very attentive to both of us and even had some fun of his own on the dance floor! Everyone raved about commented about how the entire staff passed the "vibe check!" Would absolutely use them again. Ravi and his team did a flawless job executing our event for 300 guests this past week. Throughout the planning, Ravi said “don’t worry about it, we got it.” And when the event came, that’s exactly what they did. Soon as guests walked in, Ravi’s team passed around Indian fusion items and also made specialty cocktails for us. The dinner of paneer wraps, pav bhaji, fajitas was amazing! The highlight was also seeing Ravi join our family dances during the middle of the event. We would highly recommend Chic Chef for food and services!

We hired Chic Chef catering for our wedding and all of our expectations were definitely exceeded. The price was extremely reasonable for the amount of items included in the package. We went with a buffet and it was definitely the best option for us. The tasting was laid out so professionally and everything was so delicious. The garlic mashed potatoes were some of the best we’ve ever tasted and Ravi was right there, answering our questions and getting our feedback. A month before the wedding, they sent a representative along with my venue coordinator to meet with me and between the three of us, we made a timeline for the day. They were so considerate that they wanted to know when events (toasts, cake cutting, etc.) were taking place so that they were to not make noise during those times. They were readily available for any questions and even let me add on a non-alcoholic bar package, as well as change one of my appetizers within the last week. They were flexible and accommodating. On the day of our wedding, they were absolutely amazing. Appetizers were sent to our bridal suite after the ceremony. The servers hyped up our tables when it was their turn for the buffet and got our guests cheering. Everyone was so nice and our plates were handled by servers instead of us getting up and standing in line. Our guests loved all of the food and eagerly went back for seconds. We were able to rent our plates and silverware from them as well and it was all lovely. Ravi even dressed up our sweetheart table and checked in on us from time to time. The service was wonderful and the food delicious. All our guests continue to comment about how delicious every meal was! They provided the tools to cut up our cake at no additional cost and sliced it up for us so that it came out along with their array of miniature sweets. Ravi said he’s never seen so many people get up for dessert. He told me it was his first wedding at our venue; he could have fooled me because they were pros. All this to say that their prices are unbeatable for the amount of service and the wonderful experience that comes with it. I can’t wait to hire them again. Chicago Chef Catering comes highly recommended and trust me girls, you can trust them with your special day, it will be worth it!

Chic Chef Catering did an AMAZING job for my 10 year class reunion event! Ravi was very responsive to requests and did everything he could to work with our budget before the event. During the planning process we realized we would not be able to use servers and Ravi was very understanding and made sure his set up staff made everything easy for us since they would not be there during the event. He kept things light and fun and honestly, it was so nice to have someone with this energy during our wedding day. He made us remember that weddings don’t have to be so serious, and that it should be a fun and happy day! We were set on having Lou Malnati’s pizza as our main entree, so finding a caterer who was willing to work with us could only be Ravi and his team. In addition to the pizza, Chic Chef provided passed appetizers, a salad, and soup for our dinner menu. The soup was SO GOOD. So many of our guests demanded for the recipe. From the day of the tasting up until the end of our wedding, working with Ravi and the Chic Chef team was nothing but spectacular. Having a palate for finer foods, I knew that I wanted the food at my wedding to be spectacular; and it was everything and more! Nothing but amazing remarks on the food from all our guests and some guests went up for 2nds and even 3rds (buffet style)! Not only was the food amazing, but the whole team was efficient, energetic, and professional. They worked well together as well as with all other vendors involved during the day. Due to COVID, we had to change our wedding plans completely and switch to a backyard wedding at a property we’d never seen and plan a new wedding in a couple months. We had a great experience using Chic Chef for our wedding! We first contacted them because they had great reviews on a number of sites. It was soon apparent these guys really knew their stuff. Ravi, the owner, knew all the right questions to ask -- things we'd never thought of. After a bit, we found out that Ravi regularly does huge Indian weddings of 500+ people, which made our 130-guest wedding (big in our eyes) a cakewalk. Anyway, my wife and I both love Indian food, so we decided to choose dinner from Chic Chef's Indian menu. The food was absolutely amazing and helped make the night extra special. The serving team was professional and attended to our guests' every need -- and I want to thank Enrique, who helped make sure our family who'd come from out of the country was made to feel comfortable. We had some unusual requests, I think, and Ravi and his team listened and let us stamp our own personality on the event. Also, a special shoutout goes out to Lilly, a member of the Chic Chef team whom Ravi set as our day-of coordinator. Lilly went above and beyond, sending detailed diagrams and purchase lists (they let us buy and bring our own alcohol to help reduce costs). On the day of the wedding, she decorated the venue to make my wife's vision come to life and made sure everything went according to plan, allowing us to sit back and enjoy our wedding. Where do I begin... We started our wedding planning process in September 2019. Through Covid times, there were many bumps in the road. One of those bumps was being in position to find a new caterer in late 2020 after having issues with our original. Mind you, it's even more challenging to find a new caterer that is able and willing to go to Galena, IL. When EventsOneEleven (day-of coordination services) first recommended Chic Chef to us, we had no idea how personal of an experience we were signing up for. Their communication and care for us surpassed all expectations throughout the planning process. We specially requested a chicken empanada appetizer, it was SO YUMMY! As the bride and groom, we loved our meals - only sad part was we were too full to finish our plates, haha! Steak is typically the most popular plate choice, which our guests loved, but the Chicken Florentine is just so freakin GOOD! I would say a must-have chicken entree if you are wanting to offer a chicken option to your guests. Personally, I never gravitate towards mashed potatoes as a side but they were so amazingly delicious that I couldn't resist. For late night bites, we requested Street Tacos (chicken and steak). Guests absolutely loved them and they were an easy eat during drinking and dancing. Our friends and family were raving about the food and the service. The staff was so SO friendly, fun, and attentive. They truly went above and beyond and were easily one of our favorite vendors. Chic Chef is absolutely a top-notch choice and they made our day extra special! <3

OMG!!!! Filet that literally cut with a plastic knife! Ravi and his team is AMAZING!!! Serving a piping hot gourmet meal in the middle of a forest preserve in not easy. They literally bring out a full mobile kitchen and execute perfectly. I really don't know the secret to their magic but they were able to serve 86 perfect meals (3 options and special dietary needs) in 7 minutes! How do they do this? With a phenomenal leader, chef, and staff. On 5-21-22 it stormed for about 24 hours prior to the event and they were able to adapt to the last minute decisions and provide champagne service and exquisite appetizers, wine service at the tables and fabulous food! I am picky with wedding food and wanted it to be amazing, and that it was. Everyone raved about the food and still mention it to us. I highly recommend their great quality, delicious meals. ALSO - they were so diligent with serving food, filling glasses, being organized, and were very on top of everything the day of. We had no issues with the flow of the day or lack of food. We had our wedding on August 2020 and we were worried due to the pandemic..but Ravi was spectacular. At first it was worrying finding vendors online. But when we had our first tasting, we immediately felt in love with his food. A year later (August 2020) we had our wedding and i cant stop receiving so many compliments about the food. The day of my wedding Ravi told me not to stress on my day, he took care of me and everything so i didn't had to worry about anything. Chic chef (Ravi) definitely did a superb job. We hired Chic Chef to cater our wedding and it was a great success. Chic Chef made several changes to their standard menu items to better suite our tastes and the food was delicious. Ravi did a great job working with us to hammer out the day-of details and arranged for the needed rentals of tables, chairs, linens, etc.... When the Chic Chef crew showed up the day of they were well dressed and super attentive to our needs. Ravi was flexible throughout and continuously reassured us that him and his team would be there on our big day, regardless of the number of changes. The new venue had minimal prep kitchen space, but again, Ravi said he would make it work. On the day of the wedding, we were blown away by their level of service. CHIC CHEF IS THE BEST! We cannot say enough good things about them! Ravi + Lily bent over backwards to help accommodate us with our tastings during the COVID-19 pandemic. They were so flexible and so easy to work with. Lily and Ravi were very responsive to every email and every question we had. They even worked with our budget and helped us chose things that worked well with our venue. Having great food at our wedding was so important to us, and everything we tried was DELICIOUS! The day of our wedding, we got SO MANY compliments on our food and the service Chic Chef provided. We had the chicken florentine and the Brazilian churasco for our entrees, and the asparagus and rice for the sides. They were perfect. For our apps, we had the veggie eggrolls, the tuna wontons, and the bacon apple crostini. AMAZING! Our passed apps were TO DIE FOR and there was plenty to go around for all of our guests. We chose a buffet style for our reception because it worked well with our budget- let me tell you, if you are worried about buffet style, like I was, DON'T BE! This was a served buffet and everything was warm, flavorful and delicious. Everything looked very professional - and it was perfect. Ravi from Chic Chef works so hard to make sure your wedding is perfect. And he will not nickel and dime you. We wanted an open bar and he suggested we opt out of their liquor package and suggested we buy our own alcohol to save money. It worked out perfectly. They guided us on how much alcohol to buy and we had plenty for their bartenders to serve throughout the evening. Their bartenders (forgive me, I forgot their names!)were so fun and engaging! They even started dancing and had fun at our reception which our guests loved! Also, during the reception, we wanted to have bottles of wine on each table to self serve as the bar would be closed during dinner. The bartenders opened all of our bottles of wine and ensured everything was at the tables before reception start. It worked out so well! Now let me get to the star of the show (other than the food itself) ENRIQUE! A HUGE THANK YOU TO ENRIQUE! He was absolutely the best part of our wedding and he made sure our wedding was perfect, and it was all thanks to him! During cocktail hour we took pictures, and he followed my husband and I around with appetizers and drinks to make sure we actually got to eat the food! Throughout the entire reception he made sure we had everything we needed. He even brought us water to alternate with the alcohol we were drinking, which my husband and I appreciated! ;) We loved his light up serving tray too! Chic Chef is, in our opinion, the ONLY caterer you need for ANY event. We would recommend them and hire them in a heartbeat. Thank you so so much Chic Chef!

Where do we start.... We found Ravi and Chic Chef while online searching for a potential caterer during the Fall 2019 to hire onto our team of vendors for our 2020 wedding. The tasting was amazing, the team was super responsive and friendly, and the price was extremely reasonable. We walked out of the tasting knowing that we were sold and immediately made the decision to hire Ravi and Chic Chef for our 200 person wedding. And then the coronavirus crisis struck........ The team at Chic Chef kept in constant communication as we navigated through uncertain times and we approached our July wedding that we were unsure we’d be able to have. About three weeks before the wedding date, we decided to go through with it. With all the new restrictions in place, we switched to an outside venue, cut the guest list from 200 to 60 and had what felt like zero planning time. Chic Chef was more than accommodating with our new plan and excited to begin cooking and serving our guests! Ravi made himself available immediately to tour the new outside venue and helped put together a schedule for the night. Chic Chef was there for support every step of the way! The guests raved about the food during and after the event! Our ice cream sundae bar was a favorite for many. Ravi personally ensured the event was spectacular, he would constantly come up to our sweetheart table to ensure my wife and I didn’t need anything. (We even caught him busting out a couple socially distanced moves on the dance floor! Once dinner was over of course!) The Chic Chef staff was professional and played a huge role in making our day run seamlessly. Their team worked really well with our other vendors, which was key. We hired Chic Chef Catering for our wedding which was originally scheduled for 6/13/2020. Due to Corona virus we moved the wedding to 7/25/2020. Unfortunately we still couldn't throw the wedding we originally planned but did have a small backyard gathering. We had to make so many changes and Chic Chef Catering made it easy to deal with so much uncertainty. The food provided was amazing!!! Almost every guest asked who catered our event. The lemon pepper wings, sriracha shrimp, swedish meatballs, crab cake sliders and cubano sliders were huge hits just to name a few. We couldn't have asked for better food or a better company to work with!
