First time eating here and it was very good. I ordered the cheesesteak with mayo, tomatoes, mushrooms, and banana peppers. The restaurant was very clean and the service was fast. I wasn't able to catch the managers name, but he was on his feet and was wiping down tables, checking the tea jugs, and keeping thing in a smooth running order. Good to see a manager not just tucked away in an office. Will try again and I do recommend this location.

I grab a sandwich from this store at least once a week for the past couple years. I have never been disappointed. Beyond that, I've pretty much always been thrilled with my food. Sometimes, a great lunch is just what you needed on a rough day and that's what I got. So this is me wanting to give Penn Station of Kanawha City a well-deserved shout-out. Much love.

I am literally obsessed with the chicken teriyaki sub. The people are friendly, the restaurant is clean, and the atmosphere is pretty chill for a chain fast food shop. No complaints!

First experience with Penn Station was great! My fiancee and I both ordered Cheese Steak subs which were awesome! I also ordered an artichoke sub with mushrooms and cheese. Didn't know you could get one! Artichoke sub? No other places I know sell them. Wonderful!! I got him to take a bite, after much pleading, of my artichoke sub. He screwed up his face and did it. The expression turned into Wow! He was amazed at how good it was!!

I've had good service and food there before but this time was horrible. The floors throughout the store were sticky The employees weren't courteous to anyone. Some customers spoke out to one employee and she ignored them and kept walking until I yelled at her and she stopped and turned around and spoke to him and they addressed their issues she said oh well pretty much.

This was my first time eating at this restaurant. The food was good. I can't remember the type of sub I ordered. However the sub was made kind of sloppy, as there was way too much mayonnaise. There were only a couple of people there but then the pandemic probably cause that. Overall I enjoyed it.

Usually the food excellent. Today my husband ordered a cheesesteak. No mushrooms. No pizza sauce. And there has never been pizza sauce on the ones before. it had both on it. They were busy so he didn't take it back. The windows are dark and they open sign is not working or just not on. My husband told the manager last week and again today. He said it was the angel of the sign . It was not on. We really like Penn Station and have always enjoyed going there. And we will eat at Penn Station again. Just not this one. . .

Only customer. Approximately 20 minutes until close. Ordering and take out was quick. Entire order correct. Unfortunately staff was not pleasant and felt I had irritated them because they had one last customer. I complimented staff and was given blank stares in return.

Ordered a large amount yesterday for an office lunch meeting. Very disappointed. All the fries were barely cooked, some cold, all greasy and not crispy. The cookie was burnt black. You know someone saw this when they wrapped it or bagged it. That's the sad part - the personnel knew what they were putting in our bags. I have tried to call them four different times and no one ever answers the phone. An email was sent as well to which no reply ever came. Sad....it used to be a favorite of ours!

The sandwiches were only ok. The worker wasn't particularly friendly, and the bread wasn't done, too doughy. We used to love their sandwiches. This location is not following COVID protocols, additionally.

Philly sandwich was pretty good. I like the new multi-grain bread. Service was pretty decent considering how busy they were. The sweet tea was good. I really like the spices they put out by the condiments. Makes the fries awesome. My only complaints: The meat was mostly on one side of the 8" sandwich and the fries were either black or 1/2" long. I fixed the sandwich with a fork. The fries, well I guess I didn't really need to eat them anyway... P.S. I really hate that they did away with green peppers on the menu.

The best Philly Cheese steak sandwich that I have ever consumed!! They have the freshest, highest quality ingredients that are showcased proudly for complete transparency....as well as one of the cleanest prep areas AND dining areas in any restaurant. The employees are all very professional and clean looking, and all stay very busy with the specific job assigned. I am never disappointed with my delicious sandwich,the fresh cut seasoned fries, and the homemade lemonade I always order! I try to keep coupons for here, as it truly saves a bundle on 2 dining...it is less than 14 bucks for 2 people to get a sandwich, fries, and drinks with the cutout coupons from the monthly coupon clipper! Love this place, and my hubby and I sneak here at least once a month to splurge!🍞🍟🧀

first off i love this place! They make all there sandwiches fresh as soon as you order they have the best lemonade you could ever ask for! The employees is usually nice along with the managers. It feels like you are family when you walk through the door when they greet you. When they call you they dont call you as a number they call you as a person! I truly love this place!

I love Penn Station. The sandwiches are always great. I eat at this particular one very often. I highly recommend it. The only reason this isn't a 5 star rating is because of fairly frequent issues with orders. But you'll get that if you eat somewhere often enough. Friendly people quiet atmosphere and great subs.

This carryout order turned into a headache but, sandwiches were great. First, a menu change has happened. No more sausage and peppers, rueben, and some others. The wait to get the food after calling ahead was about 45min after I got to the store. Chicken Philly and steak Philly both with Let, T, Mayo were excellent.

Penn Station is what my brother and I call "fast food plus". It's still fast, but it's much higher quality (at a higher price) than typical fast food. It's fast, but not junk. I absolutely love the Philly here (sadly, I live outside Philly, and haven't found an actual Philly that can compare). My brother swears by the Italian sandwich. So yes, I would recommend it as a good place to get a hot hoagie/grinder/sub/sandwich.

The subs are excellent. The service great. The prices are high. I was impressed by the food though. Usually I don't go to sandwich places because I can make a sandwich at home. But this sandwich was really good.

Has the freshest ingredients, fries are great, and the lemonade is squeezed right in plain view. I love that you can see the workers and the used everyday ingredients- that are never skimped on quality-from order to eating the first bite! The food area to the restrooms' cleanliness is apparent from every angle. The prices are just a tad more, for any cheap, dollar menu grabbers, but to get great food that is actually good for you, you can bet on paying a little extra. To save on my special visits, I always try to clip the coupons in the newspaper and save on dining for two people at less than 14 bucks! That includes sandwiches, drinks, and fries! I was a Steak Escaper, but I quickly converted when Penn Station opened the first one in our area- Kanawha City. It has grown so much, and I know of 4 locations that are in close enough proximity to make the drive if had the craving !!
