I was craving for dumplings and I found Sherpa Foods at Farmers market. The moment, I ate it with Red hot tomato sauce, My eyes got rolled with the taste of it. Amazing!! I am a vegetarian and they made steamed dumplings, stuffed with cabbage and onion and some spices and served with( hot, medium, mild) of dumplings sauce, it was perfectly blending with steamed dumplings. Price was also nominal with respect to quantity like 6 Momos of $7. Check pictures for more details.

Sauce is fantastic sesame is truly delicious not often sesame and tomato are used in conjunction but now I know better! Love me some momo

WOW!! Tried the beef and vegetable dumplings tonight for the first time. They were absolutely AMAZING! Sauce was fantastic!

Friendly, authentic and absolutely delicious. Every Saturday at the farmer's market and during the week at city market I pick up at least a pack of the beef momos and a jar of the hot momo sauce. Both are beyond addicting. Burlington is lucky to have such rich cultural diversity, and the amazing foods shared is one of the reasons I'm proud to call the city my home - never thought I'd find myself craving Nepalese food more than Ben and Jerry's ice cream on a weekly basis, yet here I am... Do yourself a favor and try the amazing food these guys produce for the community!!

I tried the momos first because I though the name was cute. I've never actually had the hot momos but I always get the vegetable momos at grocery stores when I go shopping. I think the dumpling shape is really cute and the momo sauce they come with is perfect. Once you try it ou can't go back. Perfect balance of spices so it's rich and flavorful without overwhelming the delicate tomato flavor. They make a perfect lunch alone or as a side. I usually share them with my sister but I can eat the whole container on my own.
