We moved here from coastal South Carolina about 4 1/2 years ago and had never heard of poutine! It took about 2 years to work up the nerve to try an order of poutine, and we are so glad we did! Maudite’s poutine is simply delicious, and we have tried almost all of the 12 they usually have to choose from! Last week my wife had her usual (VeeTee) and I had the Somewhere South which Joe was kind enough to customize by adding grilled chicken and jalapeños…amazing! Try them all, you can’t go wrong!

My friend told me the poutines were good here. So I dropped in to try it out with my fiancée. I grew up in Québec and I say "C'est la meilleure Maudite Poutine en ville"! Best damn poutine in town! Great balance of crispy fries, tasty gravy, local squeaky curds, and delicious brisket. The staff & co-owner were very welcoming and friendly. We will be back to try the other varieties of poutine and menu items. Highlight recommended 👌. Thanks, ladies. Cheers Alicia & Sara

You'd think being so close to Quebec, there would be more than one dedicated poutine place in Burlington. Luckily, the one we do have, Maudite Poutine, is excellent. The poutine itself is pretty authentic, with squishy cheese curds, noteworthy because so many other places just shred normal cheddar on gravy fries and call it 'poutine'. The poutine here has a good amount of salt and seasoning, and there are plenty of other toppings that you can add. I haven't tried anything that isn't poutine 'cause if I go out of my way to get here, it's because I want good poutine. Staff is friendly as well. The only real negative for me is that they're only open Thursday-Saturday; not much to do if the craving hits on a Monday

We booked Maudite Poutine for an event with 95 people at a wedding barn, which included poutine 3 ways and green salad. It was FANTASTIC. The poutine is great on its own but the fresh ingredients in the toppings and side salad took it to another level. And working with Leah and her team before and at the event was a pleasure!

Sublime poutine! (If there is such a thing!) They take care with each ingredient and have great ratios of each; it all comes together in a delicious way. If you are a fan of poutine, I highly recommend!

Slightly disappointed. The cheese curds in our poutine were not melted and had a rubbery texture. Also we ordered brisket on our poutine and instead got corned beef or something.

*Edit after eating* Holy h*ll. Delish. Will be back ASAP 4.9 stars as of today? Not surprised. Will add one anyway. Haven’t even tasted it yet (I’ll be back if need be; no way that’s the case though), but I got the Habs brisket and omg the smell 🤤 Anyway was surprised at home today what the prices of MP was, as with its popularity I assumed $$$. I’ve had poutine from here to Ottawa and $12-ish for a classic is a fair average I’d venture. Don’t be put off by the size either. They’re like Chinese food takeout in both feel and shape, but also in how they’re densely packed. Just got home. Took a little taste over the ride home and geez sooo good. Devouring. Yum.

Excellent! Owners are super friendly, food is incredible. Poutine is obviously fantastic, but the burgers are awesome too. Great addition to the neighborhood.

Maudite Poutine has the best late night poutine in Vermont! It's in the space where Magnolia used to be along with Orlando's bar and Lounge so you can drink, sit and eat. Great restaurant addition to Burlington!

The lady behind the counter today was extremely friendly and lovely, including to the customer before me (they clearly knew each other, he was homeless but had just gotten housed!). Food came quickly (classic poutine), and it was so good. My first experience with real squeaky curds.

Young girl at the checkout and the staff in the kitchen were super friendly. (Original) Je suis fier de voir ce plat de la gastronomie québécoise traverser les frontières pour en faire profiter nos voisins du sud et plus particulièrement du Vermont.
