We stopped by here on our way through Boise for a quick breakfast and it was so delicious!! They are very inexpensive when compared to other cafes that have bagels! Also the staff was super friendly and took the time to explain menu things to me! A super great experience! We got the Cafe latte and a toasted blueberry bagel with honey walnut cream cheese with a little honey. So good for a sweet but not overly sweet option!

Came here to look for a breakfast sandwich option & I’m glad that I executed my decision! I had the Asiago bagel, with egg, bacon & jalapeño cream cheese.. deliciousness ! Come get your bagel sandwich here. They have 4 locations in the treasure valley. The prices are very good as well.

The perfect bagel. The everything Bagel with salmon and the works! Perfect crunch (toasted) with the quintessential chew. Yum! (Ignore the soiled ceiling titles and air vents, the place is otherwise very clean!!!

Coming from the East Coast, I have pretty high bagel expectations and I'm not entirely sure they were met here. I did enjoy the service and the atmosphere, however if I came back I might order something a bit different. Four stars for the vibes.

Nice bagel shop with many good staff members. Clean, lots of tables in doors and some outdoors too. I would say it was a little expensive for the lox but everything is expensive now. I enjoyed my bagel with lox spread very much and will be going back to Blue Sky Bagels. 10/22

Best bagels on the planet! You have never had a bagel till you have had a blue sky bagel! Tried a garlic bagel with lox, cream chease, tomatoe, onion and capers. Soo good! I don't think you can go wrong with any of their choices.

I started going here twice a week because those dang sandwiches are bomb, healthy, filling even when I'm starving, and cheap. Great soups are a huge plus. Seriously, you get every veggie you can imagine including CAPERS, avocado, cucumber, and jalapenos... for FREE?! I'm in and out with a huge sandwich and a coffee for $10 in less time than it took to type this. Kudos to the employees, tip them every time or you'll accidentally itch your eye with jalapeño juice on your fingers. I learned the hard way.

The staff was very helpful, especially for a first timer. There was a very good selection for bagel sandwiches customizable to the what you want. I had a turkey, cheese, lettuce, tomato, and cream cheese onion bagel sandwich that was excellent. Ordered an addition 6 assorted bagels and cream cheese to go. The have a nice assortment of bagels and several flavored cream cheeses. I definately will be back.

Blue Sky is the absolute best place in Boise to get bagels. Always fresh and delicious. They have a variety of great flavors so there is an option for everyone. (The flavors in the attached picture are everything, asiago and sunflower with plain cream cheese.) Their cream cheese (packaged in store!) also comes in several different flavors like honey walnut, jalapeño, bacon scallion and lox. They also make great bagel sandwiches for both breakfast and lunch. I highly recommend stopping in to grab a bagel (or in my case six bagels), you will not be disappointed.

Great bagel sandwiches. I got a Pastrami and swiss on an everything bagel with lettuce, tomato, sprouts, honey mustard, and garlic herb cream cheese and it was fantastic. Will definitely be going back again

The best bagels in Boise are here. That's not saying much, since there aren't exactly a lot of great bagel bakeries, but these bagels are dense and chewy and have that great skin that shows they were properly made. I love that if you come at the end of the day you can get half-priced day-old bagels. I always take whatever they have left. They make sandwiches on their bagels and they always put on lots of toppings. Their veggies are fresh and you have a choice of meats and cheeses. The deli meat tastes like it's Boar's Head or another quality brand rather than some generic packaged stuff. Their coffee is pretty terrible, though. I'd suggest either just getting a soda or going somewhere else if you need caffeine. That said, a bagel with cream cheese is one of the tastiest breakfasts in Boise.

Blue Sky Bagels is easily one of the greatest bagel places in Idaho, maybe even the entire Rockies area. Plenty of bagel options, of which Blueberry is absolutely amazing. There breakfast sandwiches offer bacon, egg, ham, and plenty of other options. Blue Sky Bagels is a wonderful place for breakfast and I absolutely loved it.

We stood in line for a bit without being acknowledged. I got a wheat bagel with the honey walnut cream cheese. It tasted yummy. I would like to go back again but I feel that the customer service should improve to make the experience so much better.

Good selection and friendly staff. Lots of options for bagels, cream cheeses, sandwiches, and coffee. It could definitely be in a better location but it's lower traffic as a result so it's a toss up. My wife ordered a huge cater order from them (around 200) for her work, and I would get more cream cheese than they recommend (maybe two or three more for that large an order?), it came up short. I eat here frequently and it's kinda the go-to bagel shop in downtown.

However there is a lady that works there that seems like she hates her job and any order that isn’t simple is an inconvenience to her, she looks miserable every time we have visited, not sure of her name, always wearing a headband. Hands down the best Bagel joint in Boise! We come here every other week for a bakers dozen. Love their outdoor eating area and bike racks allowing for bike for bagels family friendly outings. Great place for afternoon bagel sandwiches too - not just breakfast.

My first visit dates back October, 2020. My partner brought me to this spot for breakfast. The menu is quite vast, and I don’t often see that in LA bagel spots. I can easily customise my bagels, here, so I was stoked. I got an Asiago bagel with sundried tomato cream cheese, while my partner had a bagel (can’t remember) with blueberry cream cheese. Both had amounted to 4$ something. I was bewildered. That’s the price of one generic bagel in LA with just cream cheese. We got two with our own customisations, I’m more excited now. I loved my bagel, it was a good bagel, one I prefer over the ones from LA. The sundried tomato cream cheese is a godsend, and our bagels were brimming with the cream cheese spread. Love this place. Kudos.

Always great service. Even if you aren't a regular, they make you feel like it (at both locations). Of course the bagels and cream cheese are great, but their sandwich and soup options are also great. They serve Dawson Taylor coffee which tastes great and the service is pretty fast. They are very popular, so it can slow down a bit in the middle of the breakfast or lunch rush.

I really enjoy stopping at Blue Sky Bagels when I am downtown Boise. They have wonderful Bagels and make wonderful Bagel sandwiches. Parking is kind of limited but adequate. This little cafe is nestled besides some trees just outside of the city center. The bagels are great the wait staff are fun and the prices are good.

Average quality bagel. They had a decent variety of bagels, but no "salt" bagel. I tried the "everything" bagel instead and it was OK. I asked for the bagel to be toasted until crunchy, but not burnt, but it still came out just barely warmed-up. I haven't found another bagel shop in Boise, so I'm probably going back, but I was disappointed.

Great staff, fast, and really priced fairly. Everything is good. I loved the coffee and kombucha. Funny how the most relevant review is from a guy who says 'I come from the east coast....' I haven't been recently, but I used to go all the time when my mom worked downtown. I can't think of a single time that we went for lunch where this place wasn't packed with people. Despite being so full, everyone was still very happy and polite, especially the staff. I've never had a bad experience here or a bad sandwich. You can bet that if I'm in the area I will be having lunch here again!

The best bagels in town (and, unfortunately, there is no competition) Their salmon fillet sandwich is pretty good if you know to ask for capers, which are not listed. Busy but efficient on weekends, unless you get someone who is hung over. At my age, that’s amusing not annoying. One star off because they buy good quality coffee and then do something to make it nigh undrinkable.

I was getting a bagel for a friend, and they had said pecan cream cheese. Blue sky bagels is a traditional small town cafe and bakery in a growing city. Whether you're a regular coming in for coffee or just passing through town, blue sky will greet you with a warm hello and an even warmer bagel. Their food is made fresh, including cookies and cream cheese. Blue sky is a local favorite! Honestly nothing better than a fresh bagel with butter and honey, or get fancy and have them make you a delicious sandwich. While the downtown store is the best and original location, there are 3 other locations that have the same positivity and great food. The blue sky staff is a family that includes their customers. Sadly no gluten free options but gluten is better in bread anyway!

I'd say the only negatives are that the employees only provide serviceable customer service and that the dining area is a bit drab. Bottom line is that this is a good lunch shop with some really tasty sandwiches.

Real good bagels for a cheap price. Got two bagels (asiago cheese and cranberry orange) for $1.99. A great choice for a quick bite to eat for lunch or a snack. Bagels were excellent, but be sure to eat them fresh or rather soon as lack of preservatives means they spoil quickly. Nice environment with plenty of seating.

What can I say, if you are looking for a good bagel in Boise, this is a very safe bet. They have what you would expect in the way of bagels and bagel sandwiches and pricing is reasonable. My personal favorite is an everything bagel with jalapeno cream cheese! Perfection! Great place to stop for a cup of coffee, grab a bite, and catch up with friends.

Amazing breakfast sandwiches! Every time I've visited it's been very busy, and with good reason! Despite the line being out the door on many weekend mornings, they move people through surprisingly quickly. They definitely have an efficient system behind the counter. I recommend the asiago bagel with ham, egg and cheese, sun dried tomato cream cheese, and mustard if you like a little extra kick. I'll also add bacon as well if I'm feeling the additional protein. Also do yourself a favor and get some kombucha! It's locally brewed and on-tap with a choice of two flavors that are frequently updated. Always delicious and also very good for you!

Cool, hip staff with a good value on bagel sandwiches. I got the Turkey Breast, and they let you choose your cheese and fixin's as well. I felt like I was walking into a coffee shop when I first entered, just the way the dining area looks. Good food, pleasant staff, solid value. Oh, and they're a Think Boise First member. Bravo!

I would love to tell you how good this is but I am stuffiing my face with an egg bagel. They make things the way you want them said bagel has tomato and that perfect lettuce that compliments things with out with being obtrusive and has flavor. Yum. I love this place but they mess up my order more than I would like, and I'm usually already at work by the time I notice. A couple times I have got the wrong bagel type, a couple times there has not been enough cream cheese so it was like eating a dry bagel, one time there was cream cheese on only one side of my salmon filet bagel so some of the condiments didn't stick. I keep giving it the benefit of the doubt but when it isn't busy and they screw up it makes me never want to go back.
