My experience with this place the food was amazing delicious in every way but when I was picking up my bag to get my food and pay my chips in the bag the employee was my customer service was not great the employer left the comment while talking to his co-workers while looking at me I was wearing a mask my family is very easily sick leave I go out in public wearing a mask so no one can get me sick or if I do get sick I don't want to get anyone else sick and the person with the comment saying that do I not me but the employee have Ebola to his friend while looking at me is that why he's wearing a mask it did not make me feel wanted I will never come back the food was super fantastic and amazing but the employee maybe not want to come ever again and it hurts me because the place is a fantastic place has fantastic drinks and fantastic food but I just felt disappointed people should understand when you're wearing the uniform you you shouldn't say things that's going to make the company look bad having one bad egg and a bunch of eggs that are perfectly good and kind it just hurts the situation to never come back and this place is not that far from my employer so I would love to come often to eat lunch there but in the situation never again it just hurts me if you want a good sandwich but don't want to be treated with any respect for other people's health and safety go I'm not trying to be rude to this company it's a fantastic organization I respect them but if I just feel like I'm going to be treated like garbage I don't want to feel that feeling at all

I went to Firehouse subs last night and had the "All involved sub sandwich combo. It was delicious. My only complaint was that they did not give me my dill pickle. The sandwich was delicious and so was the drink and chips. My friend bought my meal. The individual ordered the tuna salad on white bread. They did not ask how he wanted his sandwich and proceeded to put lettice and tomato which was not to his liking.

I like the food here and the mission behind the store. It is good to see a business giving back to the local community. There are a lot of menu choices and options to customize your sandwich. I like the steak and cheese best. The meatball sandwich is also good. Try a cookie while you are there.

Just stopped to eat on our way home. Had Cajun chicken delicious! Our waitress was extra nice, overheard my husband and I talking about his swollen knee, and she made him a bag of ice to put on it! How thoughtful! Thank you for going the extra mile! Made my dinner even better!!!

All Firehouse Subs locations are always well managed, clean, workers are courteous, and kept clean. The one here in Homewood on Green Springs Hwy is definitely no exception.

Some of the female staff members at this location are not professional at all. One rolled her eyes at me when I asked her to please confirm my uber eats order. At another time, upon arriving at the restaurant, I was informed the order was not yet ready. I proceeded to sit and wait. After about 25 long minutes of waiting, I approached the counter and was told my food had been ready long before. I told the attendant I had been waiting, but was never told. The attendant then took the bag of food off the shelf, and then reported to uber i came late to pick up the food. The food may be good, but their service is NOT professional and sucks.

The subs are worthy of 5 stars, but the people working the register need some training. This is the second time in a row that they screwed up my loyalty rewards points. Why have a rewards program if you don’t know how to administer it?

Suns are subs. They are just that: amazing. It's hard to mess up a sub and I'm happy to say that Firehouse Subs makes some of the best subs in town. Not only do they make great subs, they also have those fancy movie theatre soda machines. I love the Coke and Lime soda I get from them and it makes a perfect supplement to a warm crispy sub.

I've always had excellent service at this Firehouse Subs store. The entire staff greet you when you walk through the door and the food is sooo good! My favorite is the Italian, fully involved (without spicy mustard). It is so good, I'm craving it while writing this.

Fire house subs is a place I enjoy going to even though sometimes in the past I have to remind them about pickles. I have noticed that at times they take your order with gloves on walking from food preparation and go back to preparing your food which I promptly speak to them on that matter. I feel a person that is young or old should be trained on food preparation and make them ad if it were their own.

This has been the best FireHouse Subs location that I have ever been to. After 3 years of eating at this location, I can confidently say that the quality of service is beyond exceptional. The food is always top notch. The staff treat you like family. If you're in the downtown Birmingham area or close to lakeshore, this is the best FireHouse around. Highly recommended by a college student!
