What's not to love!? I've used Classic Catering for multiple family events from bridal showers to baby showers and I will never use another catering company. Special shoutout to Ellen, who recently helped me organize the food and drink for my sister in law's baby sprinkle. First of all, the service is unmatched. I haven't met a person from this company who isn't on point. They have incredible abilities in hearing what you need, providing suggestions, and guiding you on how much of what will be needed. They are open to getting creative with the menu and can make adjustments based on your requests. I was able to propose what I needed for an event and receive a proposal back within 24 hours. Day-of, they call you to confirm and give you drop-off times that are always accurate. All food arrives labeled and they go over everything with you before they leave. Organized, professional, and kind! Now, let's get into what matters - the FOOD. Absolutely delicious - the guests always rave about the food. If there is any left, it is quickly grabbed and taken home as leftovers. The Parmesan Bacon Straws are out of this world - order extra. Other favorites are the quiche and the french toast casserole! You can't go wrong when you go Classic Catering!

We can't recommend Classic Catering enough! This is the fourth time my family has used Classic for a wedding event.They are the easiest and most fun vendor to work. David, Lynn, and Liv are exceptional. We had an at home wedding that came with a lot of logistics and all three of them were always available to us for questions, calls, and emails. They put us at ease throughout the entire planning process. The food and service is superior and we received so many compliments from our wedding guests. I miss working with them but know we will be using Classic for events in our future!

This is THE premiere caterer in Baltimore. I have been using them, including in their prior name, for over 30 years. I am inspired to write this now, as we used Classic to Go for Thanksgiving 2022, and the food was above and beyond superb. Those who are new to Baltimore should know that Classic is the best caterer in town. I have used them for very fancy parties. The last one had an unusual theme that involved my putting small statues on tables. They came up with floral arrangements to display the statues.And not just any arrangements. The flowers perfectly meshed with my theme. Classic is a full service caterer. They have handled everything for me for parties, not just providing rented tables, but taking full control, so that they recommend how many tables of how many seats were needed and just where they would be placing them in my house. They provided linens and flatware and glasses, etc. They recommended wonderful menus, of which I had many choices, and delivered on cooking the delicious meals out of sight in my garages ( two houses now) and running the party beautifully. They of course provide a bartender/s. I never have to worry about any detail. You know they are the premiere caterer when you see them running such events in town as the Symphony fundraiser. Best of all, if you just want their food and not the full service treatment, you can bring in Classic To Go. As they have held my hand patiently and knowledgeably all these years, the least that I can do for them now is to provide this excellent review.

There are not enough stars in the world to give to the Classic Catering Company. I had them cater my wedding at the George Peabody library and was blown away by their organization, service, and of course, food! It was so reasonably priced for the quality of food we received - truly a fine dining experience for our guests. Lynn, our catering coordinator, was so phenomenal at her job, I didn't even need a wedding planner! She took care of every detail from linens, decorations (brought table numbers, books, signage), and timeline of the day. I don't think there is a wedding planner who could live up to her capabilities. I had the best day of my entire life and I truly believe it was due to Lynn and her incredible team. I had no stress and felt completely at ease! I could not recommend more! I want to have another party just to hang out with them all again!

This is our 3rd wedding catered by Classic Catering and I cannot say enough wonderful things about them, their staff and the food!! Everything is always perfect and every request is met with a yes and a smile. From the appetizers, to the main and then to the dessert, it is all fantastic. I had my wedding on October 8, 2022 at the National Aquarium catered by the The Classic Catering People. Between COVID and having a baby, we had to reschedule our wedding three times. They were super flexible with the changes that we had to make. During these unprecedented times, it was refreshing to work with a company that was understanding of the challenges we were facing with wanting to keep everyone safe, and then again when my baby's due date was a mere 2 weeks after one of the dates we had scheduled. Our experience with planning was fabulous as well. They responded to all of our questions and concerns within a timely manner. They invited us to their location to work with us to come up with a menu. They had a few snacks prepared for my husband and I. They asked several questions about our vision for the wedding, about any allergies or special diets that might require a special meal. They even let us know that they could prepare some staples for a children if we needed (we had no need to take advantage of that). They were also able to ensure that my favorite wine would be available at the event as part of the bar package. Once we had the menu planned, we were able to schedule a tasting for the event a few months out. They encouraged us to invite my in-laws to the event as well (which we did, and my FIL really enjoyed being able to take part in that with us.) They prepared the entire menu for the 3 of us, and confirmed that everything was perfect for our wedding, and it was. They also had linens set out for us to pick from. When I gave them the colors for my wedding, they were able to pick a few different options for us. They also were able to suggest ways to make the linens the most cost effective for us. The day of the wedding went perfectly. Our ceremony was at 7pm, and they arrived to begin setting up at 5pm. They set up for the ceremony. As we walked around the venue for cocktail hour, I was able to spot tables prepared for them to switch the ceremony space to the reception space. This was done within an hour, and went so smoothly. Nobody was standing around waiting for them to switch things over. They also set up my centerpieces, card box, guest book, seating chart, and table numbers. I didn't have to put someone in charge of worrying about that, and was able to have peace of mind that it was taken care of. When packing everything up, they also packed up everything for us as well so we could retrieve it the next day. Every single person I interacted with was super helpful, kind, and respectful. I could not have asked for a better experience.

Classic Catering was absolutely amazing. They were extremely easy to work with and were super flexible after postponing our wedding once and then changing venue somewhat last minute. Going into our engagement and starting the wedding planning process I knew nothing about wedding catering. Lynn took the time to understand my vision for the wedding in terms of food service type, food selection, linens, chairs, etc. Lynn and Olivia also worked closely with my wedding planner behind the scenes to make sure everything was prepared for the big day. Lynn and Olivia have a phenomenal eye for design, layout, food service, and cohesiveness. I can say without a doubt that our food was the best food I have ever had at a wedding. We have received SO MANY compliments on every aspect of our food and drink service. The passed hors d'oeuvres were a HUGE hit, along with our stations, and the signature drinks. We were also blown away by the classic catering service team. Absolutely best service. We absolutely LOVED getting to work with Lynn and Olivia.

They did a marvelous job - - from the tasting experience through the weekend events, which included a welcome party, light fare for the bridal party during photos, the reception and the brunch on Sunday. Classic Catering provided catering for my wedding on 09/03/22 and we were absolutely blown away! Sara and Liv were a pleasure to work with. They were kind, flexible, provided new ideas, and were so excited for us and their food!! You could tell they were extremely proud of the product they served and they should be because it was incredible! We loved working with them in creating a unique menu and tablescape, they were able to create any kind of meal or flavor we wanted to ensure that it was personal to my husband and I's favorite foods! They created a customized hot dog bar for us as a late night snack and had butlered milkshakes going around at the end of night since those are two of our favorite things! The day of everything ran efficiently and smoothly, the staff was so kind to all of our guests and they portion sizes for meals and hors d'oeuvres were huge! We received so many compliments from family and friends throughout the night on the incredible and delicious quality of the food! I would 10000% hire them again!

I had the pleasure of working with Katelyn. Im not often moved to write a review but am compelled to do so this time. I am so appreciative of Katelyn’s professionalism and the attentive care she gave helping me plan and execute my daughter’s 13th birthday celebration. Her menu recommendations were all spot on. Every detail was tended to and was exactly as she described. I had every confidence that what was delivered on Saturday would be precisely what Katelyn told me to expect. What peace of mind it gave me. It was a pleasure working with her and btw, I am so happy we added the desserts at Katelyn’s recommendation. I can’t imagine being any more pleased had I gone to any bakery. The cake pops (beautiful and delicious) and the cookie cake my daughter wanted exceeded our expectations beautifully decorated and so yummy. She made a great call suggesting we add rice crispy treats half dipped in chocolate with good dusting sugar. So impressive! The appetizers, dinner and desserts were a smashing success. I was so thrilled by my experience working with Katelyn that my sister in-law, wanted her contact information for an afternoon family gathering she is planning in December. I told her that everything I have ever had from Classic Catering is exquisite, Katelyn had great ideas and can help her customize her menu to one she’ll be delighted with. I look forward to hearing about her positive experience working with Katelyn.

This review is for Greg. I have been trying to order Thanksgiving from them for 2 years and they always run out early. I called this morning to see if they can accommodate since technically today was the last day to place an order. The first person I spoke with said they were not taking any more orders, but she hung up before I could write down other options she mentioned so I called back and this time I spoke with Greg who I feel really went above and beyond. Initially he said the same, but he actually called me back the same day to tell me that he felt bad about my situation and had gone to speak with the head chef to see if there is anything that can be done. I am not sure what the food is like but I hope the company knows how much of an asset they have in Greg. I really appreciate his efforts to try to help my situation. Thank you!

David and the entire CC staff did an amazing job on my wedding! From the entire wedding process, they made everything extremely easy and were responsive and helpful. They took care of not only the food but also the tables, chairs, linens and other rentals. They worked with us to fine tune our menu so it was perfect-- all of our guests (and of course us), absolutely loved the food. David took care of all the last minute details and knowing that he was helping organize the wedding really let me relax and enjoy the day.

Choosing Classic Catering for our wedding was the best decision we made for our wedding (aside from choosing to marry each other). Larry, Lynn and the entire team went above and beyond for us at every step of the way. They were always available for questions and discussion via email and phone. Their proposal was very competitively priced without sacrificing quality. They accommodated a tasting for us outside of their normal tasting schedule. When we had to make a last-minute venue switch due to COVID, they not only helped us identify alternative options they were familiar with, when we selected a venue that normally didn't allow outside catering, they worked with us and the new venue to reach a mutually agreeable solution that enabled them to continue to cater the wedding. And of course, all of the food at the wedding was delicious! Pick Larry and the Classic Catering team and never look back.

I highly recommend Classic Catering. They were very easy to work with in coming up with an appropriate menu and they were very accommodating when we had to make changes in quantities twice. Classic Catering People did a great job with my wedding from the planning stages to the execution of the event! I didn't have a wedding planner or coordinator (my friends helped me out), but Sara was able to work with me despite that. Sara was so nice and helpful! The food was delicious and beautiful to look at (especially the hors d'oeuvres). Our guests raved about the food. The catering staff on the day of the event were very professional.

The staff was wonderful, helpful and courteous, and kept our event going without a hitch! Food was hot, timely and absolutely delicious, they had a great beer and wine selection and they even brought some winter decorations with their food set up! Catered prepared food for a gathering of about 50 people - lunch, but mostly finger foods. Delicious, well presented, very reasonably priced, delivered efficiently and on time, and we got lots of complements on the food. Thanks for a terrific job!

Classic Catering was truly amazing to work with and provided an outstanding reception for my daughter's wedding on August 20, 2021. From the initial email inquiry to the final details for the day, Bobby Pressman, was responsive, provided suggestions and guidance throughout the entire process. This was the first wedding that we have planned and we couldn't have done this without his help over the past few months. As if his help wasn't already beyond our expectations, the amazing service and help in the final preparations that we received from Amelia Flaton, was above and beyond what I could have imagined. She truly made the event execution flawless and made sure every detail was perfect. She is an asset to the company. The food was excellent and the service was perfect. From the appetizers, to the main course, to the beautiful cake, it was all delicious and beautifully served and displayed. The entire staff was professional and accommodating to all of our guests. Their execution was flawless and every detail was perfect. I would highly recommend this group for any event as they are wonderful to work with and cater a wonderful event. My compliments to the entire staff that were a part of the beautiful reception for my daughter on 8/20/21.

The Classic Catering People were phenomenal and went above and beyond to make our day special! I'll start off this review with the tasting; we have an allergy and they were very sensitive to it. They served us the entire meal: bread, appetizers, main course, and cake. It was some phenomenal food and service, and it really helped us determine what would be on the final meal and be sure that we liked what we were going to get! At the event, their bar service was great, and they made some killer custom cocktails that we had requested. They cook all their food on-site, so everything was super fresh and well prepared. We opted to go with a different bakery for the cake (even though their wedding cake was really good), and Classic Catering was willing to cut and serve our cake for us, even though we had four separate flavors. Finally, Classic Catering, and especially Kelly and Lynn, were super helpful with coordinating and taking care of our chair and linen rental, allowing us to not have to worry about the final details in the days leading up to our event. When our florist (and day of coordinator) suddenly bailed, Kelly and Lynn were going above and beyond to help build an archway of flowers, set out the table decorations, favors, and numbers, and all-around filled in to help make the event go smoothly. The event would not have been the same without Classic Catering, and their professionalism and courtesy should be well lauded!

All feedback I have for Classic Catering People is glowing! Due to the pandemic, this is the first time I spent the holidays alone. I first ordered the vegetarian Thanksgiving meal, which was AMAZING, so come Christmas Eve I decided to order from here again. Highly recommend! If you want a one-stop shop that not only provides excellent food, but also excels presentation AND service, look no further. We used them (Bobby Pressman was our contact) for a Bar Mitzvah. Dealing with Bobby and Classic Catering was the smoothest part about the entire event planning. They took real good care of us, offered many options, allowed us to customize the menu. Our guests were so impressed. Basically, if you want to make your event look classy and seamless, go with Classic Catering. They may be slightly on the higher priced end, but after its all over, folks will be talking about how much they enjoyed your event.

This past weekend I attended a wedding in Baltimore, MD. Classic Catering was fabulous! Being a professional wedding cake designer for over 30 thirty years in Ohio (Cakes By Karin), it was such a joy to see how an organized team seamlessly pulled off such a memorable positive experience. They had plenty of bars and food stations so guests did not have to wait tirelessly in lines. The food was exceptional, creatively and colorfully presented, delicious and served hot! The chef and team's food was so impressive. My salivary glands are still working...thinking about how delicious and memorable the food experience was to such a beautiful event. The team made sure each plate was plated as if it were going to be on a magazine cover. Plates were cleared continuously from the tables with very friendly staff. Gail Kaplan and Nicole made sure each detail was handled appropriately. Hats off to Classic Catering for a fabulous experience for all the guests!!

My husband and I ordered boxed lunches from Classic Catering when we visited Ladew Gardens a couple weeks ago and were very pleased. The lunches were boxed so nicely and kept cool until we arrived at the gardens. My husband had the Charcuterie, and I had the Falafel Wrap. Both were delicious and well worth the price. I ordered boxed meals for a very small, socially-distanced lifecycle event. Greg was amazing during the ordering process, helping me to customize our menu and answering all questions promptly. Everything went smoothly, delivery was right on time, and the food was fresh and delicious. All the guests said these were the best boxed meals they ever had. And Greg offered to put custom labels on the box, which elevated an already beautiful presentation. I would definitely use Classic Catering in the future.

Exceptional Service equals Magical Wedding My daughter and Fiancé fell in love with the George Peabody Library for their wedding . The first time we met with Lynn Piette, The Classic Catering People, I knew she was the perfect choice. Her knowledge, expertise of the venue and guidance on all aspects of the event assured us that this wedding was going to be special. She listened and designed an extraordinary menu that combined the Bride’s Southern heritage and the Groom’s Italian heritage. The day of the wedding everything was flawless from the ceremony, food, service and atmosphere due to Lynn’s attention to detail and wonderful staff. I highly recommend Lynn Piette and The Classic Catering People, my daughter’s wedding was truly magical!

For our daughter’s wedding we selected Classic catering. Our entrees were crab cakes and filet mignon and they were prepared to perfection and exquisitely presented. Our guests were from across Maryland and about a quarter of the states and also one from Canada, and so many are still talking, weeks later, about how delicious all the food was, especially the crab cakes. From our first meeting with David Atkinson, we had no doubt that we had picked the best. The tasting sessions was so delicious and beautifully presented. As our guests would later experience, the crab cakes and the filet mignon were among the best we have ever had, and we love both. The hard part was selecting from all the hors d’oeuvres and side dishes, but with David’s help, we came up with a perfect menu, and even then, Classic Catering far and away surpassed our highest expectations. Once our guests tasted the incredible hors d’oeuvres, they no doubt had high expectations for the main course, and, as indicated above, Classic didn’t disappoint. We heard compliments throughout the evening from virtually everyone, and the compliments are still coming. Not just about the food, but the service as well. Although the food and presentation were unquestionably the most important part, Classic did so much more. They advised on every element of the dining setup, with special consideration for complementing the grandeur of the Peabody Library, and worked closely with us to optimally place the tables to allow room for a six-piece band and a large dance floor. After agreeing on the many details, Classic coordinated everything and we were awestruck to see all the pieces come together so beautifully. Incredible!

The staff with whom I interact on the day of the event are friendly and effectively communicate their plans to execute our event. I just attended an event that Classic catered. I live in San Francisco and have lots of opportunity to eat amazing food. Classic blew me away. I was expecting the same food you always get at big events—that was not the case. The food was creative and delicious. The staff was professional and knowledgeable (yes they knew exactly what was in the hors d’oeuvres they were passing). The food was hot and was actually something I’d be thrilled to get in a restaurant. Baltimore is lucky to have Classic!

Classic Catering was an amazing partner for the Supper Club program. Not only did they sponsor dinners for our young men in an alternate-to-detention center and our volunteers, but they did so with the utmost professionalism. I could always count on Classic Catering to deliver our meals on time with a smile on their faces, relieving me of pre-dinner stress. The presentation of the food was exceptional, and tasted even better! Our young men were given a unique opportunity to have delicious meals, try new dishes, and eat at proper family dinner table. We ordered holiday fare for Thanksgiving and it was a fabulous experience! The delivery was right on time, the portions were large, and everything was exceptional. The sweet potato crumble was to die for. We'll order again for Christmas, I'm sure!
