***update at Whistle Hop this go around and was able to get their chicken Sandwhich. Very very good!!! Definitely recommend this place when you see them out and about. We were out and about at one of our favorite breweries and yes we got hungry. Placed an order it was fast efficient and more importantly delicious. Put it to you this way I ate the burger and it was so good I forgot to add the pic here. Apple brandy burger was legit and fried chicken Sandwhich was fantastic. Fries are normally just fries but these were super delicious. Definitely give them a try! Cheers :)

Big on flavor! Loved the hamburger, wings, (both kinds) sweet potato fries, and the potato pancake/hash brown side that they call a tot, (but don't think of it that way). Can't wait to try other items.. And, I may have been a little picky with my questions about the food, but was totally satisfied.

We had the BEST chicken sandwich here at the Highland Brewery October fest last weekend. I definitely would have thought the sandwich was from an upscale restaurant downtown. Highly recommend.

We were very impressed with our food from Appalachian Chic! We ordered the chicken sandwich and fried green tomato BLT and both were delicious! The fried green tomato sandwich is one of the best sandwiches in Asheville, seriously. We look forward to eating there again soon!

Awesome lunch truck eats at Highland Brewery. The caramelized Brussels sprouts and kimchi kale salad were full of flavor. Great price $4 each. My hubby’s fried chicken sandwich with tater-tots were best he had eaten. He would not share! Chef was friendly!

Just stopped at Whistle Hop Brewing (always a fun time) and decided to give this food truck a try. Bahn Mi Bi and the Barbecue Cubano were both amazing. We had fries and kale kimchi salad as sides-also superb! Fresh, great quality, and the food came out quick-wow! Loved it

Visiting Asheville for outdoor excursions and ran across the truck at a brewery patio. Fried green tomatoes are in my top five, and have to say their fried green tomato BLT was perfectly done! Will definitely be looking them up on my next trip. Great, friendly staff, too!

Wow, we're in from Cincinnati and happened to find this unassuming homerun of a food truck. We had bahn mi sandwich, chili burger and chicken sandwich. All three and their accompanying sides were fantastic. We totally see this group becoming one of those trendy downtown hot spots. Well done!

I was very surprised by the quality and taste of the food. You can tell whoever is in that truck fixing your meal really cared about how it tasted. I hope the truck is there on my next trip through.

The one-star reviews here are ridiculous. I just had the pimento cheese pork belly sandwich, my wife had the cat fish po’boy, and my brother had the fancy burger. We all had the tater tots as the side. We were all really impressed. Better than our dinner last night at Buxton BBQ. Don’t let the google reviews fool you. Eat here.

Ate at this food truck tonight at Highland Brewing. For some background I never write reviews and at 6’5” and a little over 300 pounds I obviously love food. Had the the Mac and cheese with chorizo nice and gooey with some spice kick on the back end the fried onion rings on top were a nice add on. Now the sandwich pork belly pimento cheese is at this point in my life (59) the hands down best sandwich I have ever eaten. Can’t wait to try something different the next time they are around.

Appalachian Chic has some of the best food I have ever eaten period - and definitely the best food to come from a food truck! I first ran across these guys at a Mother Earth News Fair and I try to catch them out and about when I can. The menu evolves with the seasons, everything is so flavorful! These folks know what they are doing 🍔🥗🍴

I'm not really a "review my foodtruck" kind of guy... but let me tell you Appalachian Chic is the bees knees. I try to get to this truck 2x per month and am always warmly greeted by a their Applebrandy Farms burger & salt and pepper tater tots. Other favorites: steak sandwich, bulgogi tacos, catfish po-boy.

We hired Appalachian Chic Food Truck for our wedding at Highland Brewing Company and we are so thankful that we did! They were so helpful all along the way. We were able to choose two special things for my husband and I to have on the menu. The service and planning portion leading up to the wedding was stress-free and easy. The price was very reasonable compared to catering menu prices that we also looked at. Everyone loved us having the food truck at the wedding and though it was such a great idea and fit right in with a brewery wedding in Asheville. Everyone loved the food and the service was great. We are very happy and thankful that we went with Appalachian Chic food truck. Thank you so much for everything you did for our big day!
