Best Gluten Free Bread Sandwiches in town! Sara's Too is my go-to place for a solid sandwich craving. The gluten free bread is only $1.50 more and everything tastes so fresh and clean. Highly recommend this place! Sandwich ordered in picture: smoked turkey, cream cheese, and cranberry sauce with lettuce sprouts, and pickles (flavor party!) On gluten free bread.

Excellent! I will certainly be ordering time and again. I ordered two chefs salad and a cold sub across town and recieved my order in 45 minutes or less. Wonderful customer service and happiness I did greet when the woman arrived to deliver my food. Awe yeah! Great job, y'all!

I loved my Smoked Turkey & Avacado and added Swiss cheese on a croissant and only ate half because it was HUGE! I got the small macaroni salad and regretted it....should of got the LARGE, YUMMY! My new "go to" sandwich spot! Went again with a friend and it was even better than before! She got potatoe salad and got coconut chicken curry soup both were equally delicious🤤

I don't know if there was garlic in the sauce, the sauerkraut, or the corned beef was just that bomb, but it was soooo good I will definitely go back for another soon! I've heard good things about this place and so tried it out. The first time I drove through and ordered a meatball sub. It was actually pretty good so I decided to return. The second time I went inside to order. I was not acknowledged for about 5 minutes even though the person at the counter was not busy, but stayed because I was really hungry. I ordered the teriyaki and pineapple sub, and it was not good at all. The chicken was spongy, and there was barely any flavor in the chicken. It didn't taste like teriyaki. I tried to mix it with something else at home to make it taste better, but it was still pretty bad. There also wasn't any pineapple in the sandwich.

Possibly the best sandwiches in town! I couldn't believe how big they were for the price! Hot and cold choices and 2 soups of the day, plus chili. You can dine-in in the spacious dining area, carry out, or order at the convenient drive-through windows. You can also get espressos and Italian sodas and a treat for your canine friend. This is a special place that has the potential to be a flavorite spot.

The sandwiches are very average. A little overpriced. The chicken bacon sandwich was a little soggy and i only stay 3 mins away. The kids sandwiches were good. Honestly better than my sandwich. The only thing is you get 2 free toppings and then its extra charge after that. I got two chicken bacons and 3 kids sandwiches. No extras, no sides or drinks and it came up to $43. I wouldn't eat there again and the food didn't go to waste.

You not find one place in Anchorage half as great as this place. This place is fantastic staff are super especially my favorite boss lady. Internet is available. Only I can say that might be considered negative is they don't make my favorite mushroom soup. I love this place if it was in Texas or Arizona I would not have come back up.

My husband and I are new to Anchorage and this place was EXACTLY the type of homey, nice restaurant we’ve been looking for. The employees are SO kind and welcoming, ordering is easy, affordable prices, excellent food. We will definitely be stopping by again soon! :)

This was our first visit and not sure if we will be back. We ordered 5 sandwiches and two bowls of chili. Three if the sandwiches were decent. The seafood sandwich was ok. This was the first time I have ever run across a cold reuben sandwich. Never again, it needs to be hot. Chili wasn't good. It has the consistency and taste of the chili you can get from a can.

12/15/20 The have really really good sandwiches! It’s just I spent the last of my money on getting three sandwiches. We got there, and paid for the type of sandwiches I asked for. Got home, opened the bad and ALL three is a completely different sandwich I asked for! I can’t go back since we got there at 630 and they closed at 7. We got home at 7 so we couldn’t go back to fix the mistake the worker made.

The service is friendly and the food is good, but very expensive for what you get. I've gone at least a dozen times and while I enjoy my sandwich, you'll get better quality coffee from an actual espresso shop. My last visit was by far the most disappointing, where my order was messed up and my Italian wedding soup was 95% soft gnocchi.

Great sandwich shop. You can grab a house specialty or build your own. It was a excellent sandwich. I will definitely be back. and so will my friends. We all enjoy eating here. Delicious huge sandwiches that will make you drool and you’ll want to Order a sandwich every day for every meal. Their hoagies are amazing with the smoked turkey or any kind really, but the best part is that they have gluten free sandwiches as well!! So .... my gf daughter and I both can go out and order a delicious sandwich and both love it. Her favorites are the meatball sandwich and the pastrami!

I am a big fan of Sara's Sandwich Shop over on Arctic (their sister shop) and Sara's Too conveniently and accurately replicates my experience from the other location. This location seems a bit nicer in decor and seems more spacious which is good if you're planning to dine in. Very generous sandwiches made to order for eat-in or takeout and they have a good selection of soups, chips and drinks. Always have a good experience here, I usually take-out for a fast bite on the go and they have never disappointed in either location.

Ordered a simple turkey lettuce tomato sandwich with mustard on a baguette. If your hungry, It'll get the job done. But you would think a shop that only makes sandwiches would know how to construct a sandwich in a baguette. Had to take all the guts out and put back together to get a bit of each ingredient in each bite. Also, the turkey goes UNDER the lettuce & tomato--its a taste bud thing.

Wasn't bad, had the feeling of one of those carts you might find in a hallway in a hospital, but this was a little more refined larger version. Sandwich was premium and that was a plus. I didn't try the coffee. Generally well taken care of and well cleaned, but most of the interior was done on a shoe string budget. It did show that repairs were being kept up on. Service was only provided from the counter, but the sandwiches were taken to you when they were ready. I would eat there again if I was nearby.

Excellent food. Nice people. Very clean. Had a lovely made to order egg salad croissant, chops & soda. Three soups available. Very casual order at the counter & they bring it to you. Lots of quick desserts and esspresso coffee available. Cold air conditioning, too cold for me, but good to get out of the smoke. Bathroom clean but handicap stall locked and 2nd stall too small to maneuver.

I tried this on a fluke. It doesn't look very appealing, from the outside, but after trying their sandwiches, I could care less what the outside looks like. The Chicken Salad sandwich is outstanding! I ordered it on a croissant, with mayo, lettuce, tomatoes & pickles...Mmm! The Egg Salad is also really good, and so is the beef barley soup. The prices are also very reasonable, and the portions are generous.

I really enjoy their sandwiches and smoothies. Friendly staff, alot of options and if you weren't aware they currently are a trusted UPS location where you can pick up or drop off your packages. Easily seen from the street and they even have a drive through!

It was very nice every thing is clean and everyone is normal ..if you want a place to go eat average price is between 11- 16 a person For a sandwich a side a drinkrockstar a coffe and asoup They have fresh ingredients and were clean the order was made quick and right. I love the sandwiches from Sara's, and the coffee is good too! The tables and chairs could use a little bit of a facelift (some of the booth seats are stained and falling off), but other than that I have nothing bad to say about these folks. Keep making the awesome Sammy's!

The Cajun chicken blue on wheat bread is SO GREAT!!!! Salads are great too. Plenty of coffee options, including a proper Espresso. Other than that — nice place, drive-through and delivery available. What else might you ever need?

Update: +2 more stars. The last five visits have been decent. I am a regular at both locations. Today I got to Sara's too at 6:58pm. The store closes at 7 p.m. as I got close to the door, I saw two employees run and lock the doors and turn off the lights. If you don't want to serve another customer, close to closing just say so. Lame😔

They have the best chicken n salad sandwich in Anchorage, but I went to the drive through a couple of days ago ordered 2 chicken salad sandwiches, when i got back home with them it was eggsalad,very disappointed, I will continue to eat there but check your order before u leave

The food is good, but its ridiculous that I have to wait 10 minutes for a sandwich to be made. The staff is very friendly and always have a smile on their face. And the restaurant is clean. They also do delivery, though they don't really advertise it.

This place is wonderfull for both sandwiches and coffee. You can pick from a set of sandwiches, or fill out one of their custom sandwich forms by putting check marks next to the ingredients and condiments you'd like. Great coffe shop too, with a drive thru window.
