What a nice place. I have wanted to stop in for some time now and finally got the chance. I am sorry to forget thr ladies name who helped me but she wad a gem. I tried there pizza and clam chowder. So yummy and I definitely plan to stop in again. So if your in thr mood for yummy food, you know where to go.

At first you think $20 for a Samich my initial reaction as well. Try it and tell me if you don't go back. I now am a regular at this place and enjoy it very much.

Wow, just finished one of the best subs I have ever had. The Greek herb bread was warmed and delicious. I had the Italian sub and it was just fantastic. Highly recommend.

Amazing sub sandwich’s and salads. Honestly have tried a bunch of different meals and it never disappoints. Also the daily soups are out of this world and probably the best clam chowder in AK.

Wow! That is a sub! Wanted a yummy BLT for lunch and just randomly typed in Anchorage Sandwich Delivery into Google. I thought the prices were a bit high when I ordered but thought it was worth it to try a new place! They are NOT to high - the sandwiches are huge - easily 2 lunches. I had the BLT and a coworker had the Skinny Raven. Both were excellent. Also ordered chips and oatmeal cranberry cookies but we are just to stuffed to eat them right now. Will definitely order again!

Hubs and I get the Palmer Veg and the Skinny Raven subs on herb and cheese bread regularly. Always hits the spot! The bread is really good and a perfect soft/chewy texture and flavor, and the ingredients always taste fresh and like the "gourmet" subs we expected.

Ordered the skinny raven and give it 3 stars because it might as well be called a vegi sub. There was one super thin piece of turkey. Otherwise the bread was excellent. The service was poor the women was behind a glass shield, wearing a mask and muffled. When said I couldn’t hear I could tell she was frowning and she never did speak up. Even with all that I’d be back if there were actually meat on it.

My husband and I had a Veggie pizza. The pizza tasted great. It was prepared with fresh vegetables. The location was convenient and the setup was clean. The service was excellent. I would recommend this place if you are looking for a place to have good lunch downtown.

This hidden gem has the best pizza/subs/soup I've had in awhile! A group of friends and I went and got a little bit of everything and it was all amazing. The girl at the front (her name is Yi) was super sweet and made sure everything was tasted great. Amazing restaurant, I would recommend it to anyone.

Called them because we have our execs in town and they're in meetings all day, and they were hungry. As it goes, apologetically, I was given short notice to get lunch. I called Alaska's Gourmet Subs with even less notice. I called them at 11:50am and apologized for the short notice, especially because it was during lunch hour rush (they prefer 24 hour advanced notice for large orders). I asked them if they would be able to pump out a large sub tray - 15 sandwiches and bags of chips (including utensils) before 12:30pm. They told me, with a great attitude and sincerity that they could it. They took on my challenge. I arrived right at 12:30pm and everything was done! Brought the subs back to the office (turkey, ham, ham & turkey, roast beef and Italian). Everybody was impressed that the shop and I were able to get those on the table with such short notice. Everybody was dually impressed because the sandwiches were fresh and absolutely delicious.

These guys are another favorite sandwich and sub place, their beef stew is something I usually get almost every Tuesday and I'm definitely addicted. Of course I love their sandwiches too, and they have a great selection and all around fair prices. Pizza is also yummy!

I must say, skeptical at first cause of the looks of the building, inside and out, but once you get a taste of any of their choices, you will be glad you walked in. I've had a few of their sandwiches and have loved every single one. My favorite though, is their chicken wrap. I always add avocado to it with extra of their ranch dressing and it's heaven in each bite. The price is what is expected of sub places, not cheap, yet not pricey either. I tend to go there for my lunch break over any other restaurant in the downtown area. UPDATE: This is my first time going since they changed ownership about 2 months ago. I must say, although the chicken wrap is still delicious, the serving size has decreased drastically. They are charging me an extra dollar for avocado now with less in there than the $.75 cents they were charging before. Also, they had/have this promo where if you buy 10 sandwiches, you get the 11th free (punch card tracking). The old ownership would allow me to use my punch card for the chicken wrap with avocado included whereas the new ownership is charging me for the avocado now. Even though it's still cheaper than most of their food items. I will commend them on the customer service, they were all (2) very friendly when I showed up for my pick up. They had my wrap bagged up and ready to go really quick but that could be because there weren't any customers in there but 1 sitting and eating their food. I don't know how factual this is yet but I think they might be doing away with their soups. That may hurt them a lot since they have a huge crowd that goes just for their soups.

Awesome little locally owned hole-in-the-wall restaurant. I try and make it in anytime I'm in downtown Anchorage. Their smoked salmon sandwich is my all-time favorite. Staff is super friendly and the dining area is kept very clean.

Worth every bite. Had a pastrami on wheat with all the fixings. Waited to get home before I dove in. Still delicious after an hour sitting. I'll definitely be back to try more.

My boyfriend and I have been craving a Gyro, this is the best one we have had in a long time! Quick and friendly service. We inhaled them they were so good. Next time we will buy extras! Can’t wait to try more of your menu.

This is one of my favorite local restaurants. The staff are nice and it's very clean. The food is delicious and it's in a great area. The atmosphere is happy and relaxing. I would recommend this place for everyone if you are looking for a good place to have lunch.

I wouldn't take my family anyplace that didn't have good food, or good service. These ladies work very hard to make they're food daily. Maybe I'm bias because i know the ladies that work there personally, but i would rather go there and get one of their large sandwiches and save part of my sandwich fpr dinner then goto a fast food joint and get something that'll leave me even hungrier.

I could eat their subs for the rest of my life. If I were stranded on a desert island, I'd happily eat their Gourmet Veggie forever. Everyone there is nice, the food is great, and at a good price.
