This place is awesome! Purchased a pressure pot and found a broken wheel, instead of exchanging they gave me upgraded wheels off the shelf at no cost. Their customer service is amazing which is hard to find now days! We will definitely return! Happy customer!

I come in here all the time. The staff are super helpful if you need it, or they will let you be if you don’t want help. They have solid knowledge but don’t take it if they don’t know. Joe has always been super helpful and friendly to me. Some stock like wood or power tools changes with supply. Acceptable prices for cabinet quality ply. Worth the drive.

Came in earlier today on new years eve with my dad's old Stanly Bailey finishing plane was helped and Learned a lot from Joe. I also came in a month ago to get some wood for a knife I am working on as well All the staff is very helpful when you need help. And will leave you alone when you just want to take everything in on your own in all the possibilities to be had. It's a candy store for woodworkers. It will be my go to store for specialty wood for my future projects.

Great speacialty store, good for inspiration if you want to expose yourself to the different products that exhist. Minus half star for pricing, its no harbor freight and minus half star for rude fellow at checkout. The lady that helped me out was really nice but the buddy I went with was in a different line and he was made to feel dumb and it was his first time going. Its hard for entry level people to go to a store like that so the employee should have been empathetic. Not a deal breaker though because it is a great store.

This store has a great selection of woodworking tools and supplies. Just be ready for retail prices across the board. Also available is a good selection of various hardwoods and maple faced plywood in sizes up to 30" x 60". Not a full 4x8 sheet, but priced reasonably for the quality.

The employees do not work on commission, but I have found some of them still try to sell you on things and are pushy, which is confusing. What is their motive, you know? That being said, I have had excellent experiences with other salespeople, who have done a stellar job of providing unbiased information about comparable woodworking tools. I recommend Rockler, just be on your toes about whether you are being sold or getting genuine unbiased information.

A woodworkers heaven. Tons of things you'll never find in a Lowes Depot. Unfortunately their weekday hours are useless if you have a job, so you can only go on the weekend which really cuts into your esrly start weekend days you need to get things done. Much rather see them closed one day a week on a M-F and spread those hours among the 4 other weekdays

These guys are always awesome. Really appreciate their insight and the more experienced staff are invaluable to me as a woodworker. One small observation though, for the newer or less experienced staff...stay in your lane. If you don't know just say, "I don't know" and grab someone that does. I sell for a living too...I know the slide-deck dump when I hear it and I know when you are making things up. I am happy to wait for information I can use to make a decision and I will make sure that you get the credit for helping me. This is minor thing and does not sway my opinion or loyalty to Rockler. No matter the level of experience of new staff or seasoned, everyone is always ready and eager to help and you can tell they enjoy being there. Kudos to our local owners!

Initially I was a bit put off as I had been watching for a tool which became featured in the post holiday ads and I called to check on availability. I was told there were several in the store and they would still be there . Twenty minutes later on arrival I found they had been sold. I should have put my name on one and not depended on the info I had been given. My bad. I called to order it by phone from the warehouse and the seller was very nice , explaining to me that the local store needs to be supported, now especially and that I should hold off a couple days to allow the store to get a shipment in which would probably contain what I wanted. I had to agree. I prefer to shop local (though these days almost all my buying is online with the virus and all). Two days later I called the store, put my name on one and picked it up twenty minutes later. I appreciate the way the customer service rep dealt with this. I am also very pleased with the product itself.

Though the staff is helpful, don't have a backpack with you, they won't even ask you what your looking for before asking you to leave your bag upfront. Once they did ask me what I was looking for it was maybe 8 steps from the front register. There was nothing posted about backpacks on the doors. The issue I have with this is that when I had a large purse I wasnt asked to leave it upfront. Not going to give a one star rating for this but I would hope that having a backpack doesn't immediately label you suspicious.

I am very impressed with the staff and store manager, Robert, at Rocklers in Tukwila. Every time I go in I am greeted by friendly and courteous staff. They're helpful and knowledgeable. I visit the store about every 6 to 8 months and Robert always seems to recognize me. This last time I went in Robert was in the middle of unloading a large shipment but gladly stopped to answer some of my questions. He ended up asking me about what type of projects I make. I shared with him my interest in wood-turning but have always been a bit nervous since I have no experience. He recommended a class they host this Saturday which I have signed up for. I'm very excited for the opportunity and will continue shopping at this location!

I recently bought a Bosch router set at the store, but after xmas, only the display model was available. Mike was great and located the case and parts. When I got home, I found a collet was missing. The next day the store manager, Robert was able to find the missing part, no questions asked. Great store with the good stuff and knowledgeable helpful staff!

Great customer service, and a great selection of tools and hardware. It's a small store with an overwhelming selection of great products to help you complete just about any woodworking project. With a huge selection of domestic and exotic woods, it's hard to leave once you've been in.

Highly recommended. If you're enthusiastic and interested about woodworking, pay these kind folks a visit. Outstanding products and service. I have connected with (3) different staff -- Jamie, David, and Althea -- on separate visits -- overall, I found each to be friendly, well-informed, and helpful. Most recently, I connected with David and Althea for some equipment and project advice. They listened to my project goals, and took the time to explain specific products that Rockler can provide to make the work easier, and more consistent. David shared a method he has used personally to approach my objective. In the process, and followed up with some additional equipment recommendations that were spot on. Rockler has an entire team devoted to dreaming up ways to make your life as woodworker easier. I can confirm -- high value here. I special ordered an item, and it was delivered to the store -- David telephoned when it had arrived to let me know. Great follow through. Woodworking can involve some very detailed specifications and design elements, and it does pay to have done some research about what you would like to do -- this will help make the most out of your in-person visit. Also -- one of the reviews for Rockler from a while ago states that it's "where men go". Maybe at one point in time, woodworking was seen as primarily the domain of men. This is an outdated perspective. Those days are long past, and Rockler has awesome craftswomen on staff. This place is truly for EVERYONE who wants to try their hand working with wood. Give them a try -- I think you'll be glad you did.

This place was great! I called looking for an item late in the afternoon. The person on the phone was not only helpful, they pulled it off the shelf and set it aside for me to pick up the next day since I wouldn't be able to get in before they closed. I showed up the next morning and they had it ready and waiting. The store manager was incredibly helpful and went out of his way to assist me when I asked about a table saw they had on display.

This Rockler has an easy find location and tons of parking available! Staff gets 5 Stars for knowledge and helpfulness! The people at Rockler were super nice, even though I showed up with 5 kids and one of the was a two year old. We had a great time exploring the store and each of the boys picked out a project to work on. We ended up with 4 knife kits (and the scales for the handles) and an ice cream scoop kit for the 2 year old. The boys couldn't wait to get started on their knife kits today!

I hit up this Rockler every time I get over to the west side of the mountains, it's always one of the high points of my trip. Neat store, with a great selection. Usually prices that are quite competitive, although the Woodcraft up north a bit can often give them a run for their money. Darn good shop, if you're in the area it's definitely worth poking your head in and looking around. It's a fair bit larger inside than the storefront appears!

My toy store! Rockler has so much cool stuff you probably never knew existed. Many original jigs and tools you can't find anywhere else. Tools and supplies can be a little pricey but they have excellent prices on woodworking lumber and plywood
