Michael was fantastic and openly communicated with us about our job, which was very appreciated. Michael worked with me to replace only what was necessary and not waste time on parts that did not require repair. I am planning on scheduling his services again for another repair soon. They were responsive to my request for a quote. They give you a text message to let you know when they are on their way for the estimate and each day they are scheduled to work. Love that! Tyler provided the estimate (wearing a mask) and the repair work and he was fabulous! His estimate was reasonable and in line with a couple of others we received. We chose Ace based on the reviews and the responsiveness and professionalism they showed in providing the estimate. It was the right call. We needed insulation, drywall repair, wall painting (2 rooms), ceiling painting (living room) and trim replacement in a finished basement. This included texture matching an orange peel texture ceiling. I attached photos from the area that needed the most work. They scheduled the work for 5 days and Tyler finished early on day 5. Awesome job Tyler!

My first experience with Ace Handyman was great! I needed someone to rehang my storm door that was blown off in some strong winds. When I called to schedule the visit, they explained to me that they may not be able to rehang the door based on the condition of my old one (e.g., if parts were bent/broken). But they also explained that if that ended up being the case, the handyman would let me know right away, which sounded fair enough to me. I was able to schedule an appointment within just a couple days, and my handyman, Mark, showed up on the dot. I appreciated that he thoughtfully considered the condition of the door frame and the condition of the storm door and came up with a plan. He explained the plan to me before he started in order to get my approval. Then he got to work! I appreciated that he didn't try to sell me on things I didn't need and was able to work with the somewhat wonky conditions of my 1916 home. He was amiable, efficient, and a good troubleshooter. Two hours later, my storm door was reinstalled and definitely much more securely installed than it had been in the first place. Thanks to Ace Handyman Services and thanks to Mark!

The entire process has been a breeze. However, the icing on the cake was Rick (who ended up installing the door we added to our house). From the estimate to making plans, Mike & team kept me in the loop and were always in contact. Rick showed up and completed the project AHEAD of schedule (2 days instead of 3) and was one of the most considerate people I have ever met. I previously worked with Home Depot on a similar project. They did fine. However, it was impersonal and drawn out. Ace has the professionalism but adds the personal touch which is missing in most industries these days. Wow, I cannot begin to say enough good things about Ace Handyman Services and Pete the worker who finished our porches. Ace rescued us after we had been caught up for nearly a year with a slow, poor-quality contractor. We were stuck with two incomplete porches that were poorly done. Pete and Mike came in and figured out how to fix what and been done incorrectly without having to trash the whole job. They communicated clearly, met there time commitments and completed the job with great quality. Joe was very easy to work with. We found him to be polite and courteous. We needed some wood rot repaired on our home and he took care of that problem which I am really happy about as I wanted to get it done before Winter comes again. He also offered to do any other small jobs as he had some time during the process of the original repair. I had been fighting with a light fixture on the ceiling that just needed just 1 bolt to have it secured to the ceiling. It took him under a minute to complete that task. This was the second time in three weeks that Greg did work in my home. Once again he was on time, focused on his tasks, and delivered amazing results. He installed the remaining two of original four new ceiling fans,installed a fun backsplash in my kitchen, and resolved how to creatively mount two folding screen panels on either side of my dining room window. Greg is so knowledgeable and professional when it comes to tackling and completing handyman tasks, and is well worth the hourly rate charged. He cleans up after himself, only leaving the completed projects to admire. Should I ever need more handyman tasks completed, I will engage the services of Handyman Matters. Greg came and installed a replacement mailbox, replaced the living room curtain rods, caulked the windows, installed an outdoor thermometer, and placed a panel on the downstairs stairway (and then moved the rail from one side of the stairway to the other). When I pointed out that 2 closet doors had come off their supports, he put those back, too. Outstanding service!

I have used Handyman Matters several times and referred them to others who were pleased with their work as well. Workmanship has always been great. Craig does particularly nice work. Service is very professional with thorough job site clean up and great pre notice on arrival day/time. Pricing is fair to maybe slightly high, but worth any extra. The only down side is they are usually very busy so there might be a wait for service.
