Loved the beginner class so much! Now I am on my third class and building an oak table. Excellent instruction for novices and experienced wood workers. Well maintained shop with all the tools you may need.

Jeff and Jamie are great teachers .. more like wiodshop sensei . Helpful and extremely knowledgeable. I can not recommend their classes enough.

Highly recommend this place. If you have any interest in woodworking, take the beginners class. Jamie obviously knows her stuff, and is a very fun and patient teacher. I have been dabbling in woodworking for a while, and have found the beginners class to be very beneficial.

I was desperately needing to have a 3/8 grove cutout in a 3feet 2x4 wood. This custom piece will hold a glass door. It was a Saturday afternoon and I found Wood It Is through Google search. Jamie picked up the phone and I am forever thankful for her willingness to help me. If not for her, I wouldn't be able to install the glass door. When I showed up to her shop, she got to work right away. I was amazed at her skill and speed in meeting my specification. She even sanded the 2x4 wood to make all sides flat. She is truly an amazing person and extremely talented in what she does.

Woodworking, power tools, and a table saw are really intimidating. Jamie is amazing at explaining the safe way of using all the tools in the shop. I took my first class in 2017 and it was a wrap. I was sucked in. She explains things in detail, and you wonder why, but everything she teaches is so important because it is the building blocks of woodworking. How to make a jewelery box seems like a small project for that many days of class, but the reality is its the gateway for building a chest then a sideboard. I moved away from Vegas at the end of 2019, I have not been able to find a place that is as welcoming or as knowledgeable (and knowledge sharing) as Wood it is and that is definitely my loss. There is no ego, not with Jamie and not with many of the seasoned woodworkers who frequent her shop. If you're thinking about woodworking... just take one class at Wood It Is, I guarantee you won't be disappointed.

I think the lady that helped us was Jamie? but I'm not 100% sure since this was years ago I've been meaning to place a review for years now. If it was she's was extremely helpful and a total life saver. Long story short she helped us with a very tricky cut on our click lock bamboo hardwood flooring. We're not one of her clients but I called her, told her the issue we were having and she said to come in so maybe she could help us. She was very nice and friendly, cut our 2 pieces of flooring and didn't even charge us or expect anything in return... I think we tipped her $30 and left but we can't thank her enough for helping us out that day. I really recommend her

I've been woodworkin at Wood it Is for over 10 years. How to say enough about this place. Jamie, the owner, is a master woodworker in her own right. She is extremely knowledgeable and as skilled at teaching and sharing her skills and knowledge. She is also very adept at translating everyone's individual vision into unique and well designed projects. The shop is fully equipped. And besides all that, jamie is just a fabulous human being.

Jaime is an excellent teacher. She is knowledgeable, encouraging, and supportive, but she doesn't baby you by any means. Jaime is very engaging whether you are a novice or experienced. I definitely suggest taking a class here!

This is the place you want to be if you are interested in learning woodworking. Jaime is simply AMAZING! The classes are fun, energetic, and affordable. Her students joke, but this is the closest place you'll find to a Disneyland like experience in Las Vegas.
