Platinum Cabinetry built us a free-standing TV cabinet to house our electric fireplace. We could not have visualized this coming out any better. They paid so much attention to detail, and the finished product reflected that. They were also extremely thorough, as Kevin and Jackie came back twice to be certain the measurement for the fireplace was accurate. We are very happy and highly recommend them.

Be warned! These guys are only looking for big jobs. If you only have a small job you’ll get the cold shoulder. For me I was looking for a 8’ by 8’ book shelf. In my case I found the ad for this company in a magazine that came in the mail. The ad said everything I was looking for...So I called. The lady who answered asked me what size of book shelf / cabinets I needed. I gave her a rough measurement and she went silent...Just when I thought my phone dropped service she said “I need exact measurements “ I said well please send someone over and they can get a better idea. She said that’s not how it works. Apparently I was to make a cad drawing of the area like they do on HGTV and send that to her and she would quote off of that. In other words I was wasting her time. Now I didn’t receive any service from them so my review is limited. But after that phone call I would question the 5 star reviews here.

My experience with Kevin, Jacqueline and the staff at Platinum cabinetry was a great one from start to finish. They asked a lot detailed questions during the planning phase and created a great custom piece that matched my existing cabinets an has the flexibility and beauty I was looking for from my entertainment center. I have nothing but glowing words for Platinum Cabinetry. The owners, Jackie and Kevin, were outstanding to work with. We had an entire wall of cabinets/entertainment center custom built for permanent installation in our family room, and a set of upper cabinets in what, I guess, would be called a butler's pantry. First of all, we wanted the butler's pantry cabinets to match, as closely as possible, the existing base cabinets. It looked as though those upper cabinets may possibly have been an option that the original owners of the home chose not to install. We were not confident that we would be able to find any cabinet company that would be able to match the cabinets to the existing ones, as the color is unusual, and the design included some 'flutes' on the cabinet front. We were thoroughly amazing that Platinum not only matched the color, but the design as well, such that only very close inspection would show that they were not original to the house. In fact, the new cabinets are far better in terms of quality that the originals, solid wood all over, including the adjustable shelving (where the originals were melamine) and solid wood in the underside, again, melamine on the originals, and high quality, soft close hinges. Really, REALLY great workmanship! Similarly, the entertainment center is amazing. Jackie had come to our home to put together a proposal, and she was able to design the entire thing on her computer, while she was here. We had lots of options available, and we were able to design something that was totally perfect for our needs, including glass inserts in many of the cabinet doors to display the interiors, and mirrors on the back on these cabinets, as well as lighting to display the contents. Further, the finish on the entertainment center is the same as the rest of the cabinets in the house, something we had not expected could be done. The installation was painless (this took 2 days), and the quality is flawless. We could not be more pleased with our experience with Platinum Cabinetry.
