Drakes Carpentry & Woodwork has completed a large variety of projects in my circa 1899 row house. They have built stunning bespoke shutters, modern, glass versions of the old louvered shutters that fold into the wall; they repaired a dangerously sagging ceiling over my kitchen; they built a beautiful mahogany pantry. Most recently they repaired a damaged deck reusing the existing ironwork to excellent effect. The highly skilled craftsmen who came into my home were always on time, always tidy, always pleasant. I am delighted with every job they have done for me and will definitely work with them again. I highly recommend this company.

Tyrone and his team did an excellent job. They were responsive, prompt, clean, friendly, and communicative. Always showed up on time, and always called with updates (a rare find in nyc) and they did great work. Very respectful of our own home and took extra measures to ensure cleanliness. Drakes took care of some water leaks, drywall, misc. items, and built us a fantastic custom laundry room. Will certainly use again for all our household needs.

Tyrone and his team did a great job fixing up damage to my bathroom window and tiles. The job was done carefully and skillfully, and the result looks amazing! They quoted me a reasonable price, and stuck to it. There were no extra surprises as with some contractors. They also were very flexible and adjusted to my schedule. The only issue I had was that it was a little hard to pin down a date and arrange things initially, but once they started, it all went smoothly. I definitely recommend their work, and plan to use them in the future.
