Pelican Pointe, thanks to brothers Dustin and Jordy and their main man at the Airline Highway location, Ray Breaux, is A#1, top of the heap, as Frank Sinatra sang. They run this place the good old fashioned way: service with a smile, aiming to please, making things right and respecting the adage "The customer is king (or queen!)." I have been patronizing this place for years. So when I went there a couple of weeks ago with a car caked with bugs on the front hood, windshield and rear view mirrors, it surprised me that the car wash didn't get it all off. No problem, though. I simply spoke with Dustin and Jordy, and today...Voilá! They arranged with Ray to have my car go through the Platinum Wash (twice!) to make sure that those bugs were gone, gone, gone. Ray even used a razor blade and scraped off some bug splatter on my windshield that didn't come off the first time around, and put my car through the wash again! He said if I ever come with bug splatter to "prep" the car first--there's a station prior to wash entrance where one can wash down with longhandled brushes the car front and windshield--and then go through the wash. But if it doesn't work perfectly, that I can go through the wash again! THAT is service, y'all. The pelican is the state bird of Louisiana. Well, Pelican Pointe should be the state car wash of Louisiana! BRAVO!

I am not sure of the monthly price, because I am on a family plan with my mom, but I have been to drive thru car washes in Colorado, New York, and Florida and this is the most detailed drive thru car wash I have been to. They have a station for you to wipe off bugs and any other things on your car that the machine operated car wash has a hard time getting. Also, they have a mat cleaning station and a station with towels & all-purpose + glass cleaner. Topped off with free vacuums! You can't beat it. I loved it and would highly recommend

I recommend using the brush in that area before you pay to clean any bugs off your car. I get the package that waxes the car and does the tire shine and it looks fantastic. The only thing this place needs is an air machine to fill tires.

The owner of the business will more than make it up to you if you address a problem with him. Someone/something had malfunctioned with signaling the machinery to give me all the services of their top of the line $16 car wash I had requested. My tires, for instance, hadn't been touched. I didn't realize until I got home that the tires were still dirty, called the manager and stated that I felt I had gotten a $5 car wash instead of a $16 one. He apologized and said if I came in he would issue me a coupon for $16 car wash. When I got there, he actually gave me TWO $16 coupons and explained how this can occur occasionally. It made my 10 minute trip back worthwhile and it helped to understand how this could happen occasionally. While on googlemaps review site, I noted that, in general, this car wash has good reviews. I'm not surprised.

I was trying to get the 45$for the month car as many times for 30 days but you have to use a debit card to pay for then they will give a break on on the card and it becomes only$27.00 they credit it back to your card it is a very good deal.

Pelican Pointe Car Wash does a very good job on cars and I love how it makes your tires and rims shine. I was very happy with the wash when I had a car but the wash is not as good with my SUV and that is due to the back of my car has a spoiler on the rear door which stops the rear brushes from getting too close to the door. Expect crazy lines here, especially on a Tuesday as they have a discount that day, and issues finding a spot by the vacuums on half of the time. My only complaint would be that they are too busy sometimes.

Super car wash and the vacs are sucking up! A great area dedicated to prewash to get the bugs from the front grill and window. The tire/shine does a fabulous job. The staff is ever ready to help if you need it. Get a monthly package deal, you'll save a bundle and can wash your car daily if needed. I wish they would open up on the Westbank.

Cool concept for a business. I've used this one a couple of times. It's good for a quick wash to knock some dust off of the car, but don't expect to leave polished and without some water marks. The dryers just aren't capable of getting all the water off, so unless you're going to get out and hand dry a lot of the car, you will have the water marks left. That being said, it does a great job of getting the rest of the car clean. Make sure to spend a minute using the provided prewash to get the bugs off of the front. Have run a truck through there several times without any damage to the vehicle, an came out clean.

Pelican Pointe Carwash is the ONLY automatic carwash that actually cleans my car. I usually purchase The Best Wash ($13), but recently got a coupon in the mail for a free Platinum Wash ($16). When I scanned the coupon, it only showed a $3 discount but the attendant was quick to resolve the issue. Even though the $13 wash does fine, I could tell the difference with the $16 wash. My car/tires/rims were noticeably shiny afterwards. One of their selling points is free use of the car vacuums. The vacuums don’t have a lot of suction and it took me forever to vacuum my entire car. I think I’ll skip that part moving forward.

On Tuesdays you can pay $5 for the cheap sake wash. The vacuumes are free all day. Trash bins available with every stall. They'll also tape your wiper and antenna down before the wash.
