By far the best car wash I've ever been to. Staff is great owner is great general Manager is great. They treat your car as if it's their own car. Great lobby have things for the kids to do. They treat you like your family. All around BEST Car wash I've been to.

We really love the soapy, however we aren't yet sure about the Joe's. This here is a car wash. They have different levels of cleanliness for your car. The monthly plans are a good deal. It is always quick, and we will continue our patronage.

This is by far is the best car washes I've ever seen in my entire life. The staff here are extremely friendly and offered and went away above and beyond to help me out. This is a fantastic place to bring your rentals or family cars to get them serviced and they return it clean as can be. They did a fantastic job it was quite unbelievable and experience was well worth it. They even have a ice cream dispenser, free popcorn, free water, and a amazing lounge that even accommodates for families. My highest recommendation

I’ve never loved a car wash, but I love Soapy Joe’s. They take such great care in keeping my car clean and looking GREAT. They go above and beyond. Aside from that, they take great care of their customers and employees as well as their community through fundraisers and donations. I no longer live nearby, but they are SO great that I still maintain my monthly wash membership and make the drive from Minneapolis, always to be greeted with a smile. Top notch!

I own abc autobody on smith ave in st.paul and we bring all of our customer cars to soapy joes for the final clean up and could not be more satisfied with the service they provide. It really makes us look good when our customers come and pick up there vehicles and they are clean and shiny. I bring my personal car there and the staff is always friendly and genuinely glade to see you. The only problem is that sometimes the lines are really long, I guess that is a testament to the great job they do. But it is worth the wait. I would and have highly recommended them.

I was WOWed by my car spa full interior car wash! My car came out like it was fresh off the dealership lot! Even smelled like the full new car smell. They took out all of my floor mats — washed those, vacuumed, got all the extra debris out that I never could, and wiped every inch down. Amazed by the extremely thorough work they did. This is my go-to for any car cleaning needs. Car wash is fantastic, and the power wash to remove bugs and hand dry is an amazing feature. Did an interior detail as well, and couldn't have asked for a better result. Used the proper cleaners for each surface, and the car looks brand new inside! The staff is always super friendly and helpful!

I just returned to the Twin Cities after living out of state for a couple years. I searched and searched there for a car wash similar to Soapy Joe's, but wasn't able to find one. Every time I washed my car I missed this place. I love Soapy Joe's. They're quick, kind and professional, and they do an amazing job. And at such an incredible price! They earned my loyalty years ago and I'm glad to be able to visit once again.

I had the "Ultimate" wash and it was exactly what I needed after many months of a dirty car. Soapy's has been closed from time to time because of weather; and when open, there have been long lines down the street. I got lucky! They do a great job on the exterior! they used to do the interior too for a few extra bucks, but that has changed because of Covid and inflation. In any event, I think it's okay to clean the inside of your own car.

I love this car wash facility. There are some other car wash places near my residence but I always drive 20 mins approx to go to this one. Nice staff and great wash. My kid loves car washes and yesterday we specially drove to get a wash here at 5 pm but the wash facility was closed one hour earlier. My kid was so sad and cried because it was a special trip for her to enjoy the carwash and it was closed! I was sad too as we drove all the way, specially for the car was here. I saw two other cars going back too after seeing the shop closed! Besides this one time sad experience, I love the place.

I’ve been to this car wash twice this weekend with two family cars - the experience both visits was beyond excellent. For the second visit, I brought our SUV that we recently used for a 1,200 mile trip. The front grill and windshield were caked with bugs. The attendant immediately noticed and said that I should come back around for a second wash if not completely happy. That said, the first guy on the line spent 2-3 minutes cleaning my grill and windshield. I thought it was great that he noticed. By the end of the wash, I realized the guys drying my car were wearing headsets and the attendant at the front had already given them all the heads-up to check for bugs. What great service!

A friend of mine gifted me a business card that was like a gift card stating I was entitled to a free Super Wash at Soapy Joe's Car Wash. Yesterday, was a perfect day for it. So, as I was out and about running some errands, stopped at the place with card in hand. There was a line of several cars when I got there that moved quickly enough. The nice gentleman working the entrance gladly took the gift card at hand, marked my windshield with an "S," and explained how their car wash works. The two men working on the cars at the start of the car wash, guided me onto the conveyer belt and started to spray my car with their wands as my car (in neutral) slowly moved along through the automated machinery, giving it a much needed wash. At the end, I engaged my car into "Drive" and slowly drove it up to two men ready with clean towels to wipe my car dry and send me on my way. The whole process was very efficient, relatively quick and yet friendly. I definitely will be back to Soapy Joe's Car Wash again and again.

I don't usually leave reviews unless I am overly impressed with services I receive. I visited Soapy Joe's a month ago for the first time. My truck had never been so clean. To add to that, it seemed that it "stayed clean" longer than any other car wash I had gotten. That's impressive given all the salt on the MN roads. I returned for a wash again today and received another quality wash! It wasn't just a "fluke" the first time. If you are looking for a quality car wash that'll leave your car as clean as a hand wash- This is your place!

I brought my Corolla in after the dealer washed it. The dealer messed it up and did not dry it afterwards resulting in water spots Everywhere! Soapy Joe’s staff helped me out, got me in with just a basic wash, and got those water spots right out. If I could make one request, I’d ask that they would have spent just 10 more seconds drying the lower part of the sides of my car, but they did pretty good. Will be returning.

I brought my car here this week and got the full service wash, and they did an amazing job. My husband had raved about how good a job they did when he went a month or two ago, but he had taken our brand new car, so I wasn't convinced. Our older car though, the one I brought in this week, probably hadn't been cleaned inside in 3-5 years. That's not an exaggeration, and it was filthy. They did such an incredible job cleaning it! The inside is gleaming, they got all the gunk out of all the little crevices, and even tried to vacuum out my trunk around all the stuff that was in there. It was practically an interior detail. The exterior wash was excellent as well, my car is still beautifully shiny a few days later, and the lights during the wash were super fun. I will probably never get my car washed anywhere else. It's such a treat to get our car detailed. This location is reasonably priced and usually speedy! We were disappointed that our trunk wasn't vacuumed at our most recent visit and the waiting area was not very clean. We'll still likely be back as other visits were more positive.

Around $30 for an express full service wash. I had the outside cleaned and the interior dash area and doors wiped and a thorough vaccum. The Staff was very informative on the phone and very friendly, welcoming and helpful once at the business. There is a kids play area my toddlers and I found amazing. Fast and friendly service. Took a work vehicle here to be cleaned. Was very impressed with how thorough they were. Not to mention I forgot my work card. The staff let me go through since there was no wait I promised to return to pay. Which I did. After work I went with my personal vehicle which was dirty from living on a dirt road, covered in ice since I park outside and dirty inside since I have 3 kids. They spent the first ten minutes just spraying off all of the built up ice. I went through the wash. They then spent another 20 minutes cleaning out the inside with great detail. Idk that my windows have ever been this clean I will go out of my way to return and highly recommend them. Very much worth the price! Don't forget to tip!!!

My first drive through car wash experience went without a problem! There were staff at the entrance to answer questions and explain the different options, staff to guide the beginning of the wash, and three more to dry off the vehicle at the end so your doors won't freeze shut. Prices were very reasonable. I'll definitely be returning!

I'm very particular about how my vehicles get washed cause I usually do it by hand and make sure nothing gets missed but I read the reviews and thought I'd give soapy Joe's a try and I'm nothing but beyond impressed with how exceptionally well the guys at Soapy Joe's did they treated my vehicle as if it were their own. 5 stars isn't a high enough rating for these guys!! I have been going here for years. They are the best! Drive through wash but they always hand dry at the end and you have the option of getting the interior done. Can be pretty busy on the weekends so if planning to have the interior done, try to go during the week if possible. If you go and there will be a wait, they are always really good about letting you know up front.

This is my first time going to any carwash ever. The process was easy, got in line in my car and a nice lady showed me the types of wash I could get. After I paid, I stayed in line and the staff was really helpful in telling me what I had to do to get in the wash line and then let me know when to put my car in neutral. During the wash there was lots of soap raining down and some brushing. After I got out of the line the staff dried my car with towels. Super nice friendly staff and my car looked great afterwards.

Great customer service! I have been going to Soapy Joe's since we moved to St. Paul. They have always been friendly, detailed and professional. Most recently, they were able to fit me into the schedule to have my car detailed - we needed to have the car cleaned and sell it fast. The team not only did an excellent job on the interior (we have 2 dogs who ride along a lot = tons of dog hair), but they delivered early. And, I am convinced that the offer we received was due to their hard work. I can't thank them enough!

It's so good I drive in from Hudson Wisconsin and we run all of our cars through through a soapy Joe's. We're a small used car dealer in Hudson and the quality is well worth the trip.

I decided to try somewhere new for my full service wash since I've had nothing but bad experiences at my usual stop (Paradise) for the last 6 months. Everyone here was courteous and helpful. There were a few drips on the outside around my door handles, but I was really there for the interior vacuum. They did a great job with all the dog hair in my jeep. He warned me that they wouldn't be able to get all of it out, and gave me a recommendation for another place if I wanted a more thorough job. Despite that, they did a great job and exceeded my expectations. I'll definitely be back.

Very good price for everything that’s included. I got the full service interior and exterior, for $30 and it included an amazing exterior wash, hand dried, and a very thorough inside clean. My car was muddy and sandy from a recent camping trip, and they took care of most of it! There were a few spots they missed on the inside, but considering it isn’t a full-on “detail”, I was still very pleased with the result. Staff were efficient. No frills place in terms of the waiting room, restrooms out of service (but there is a port-a-potty) and no AC, but for the 15 mins I sat inside while they cleaned the interior it was just fine. Much better value and overall result compared to Paradise. I will be back. Just wish there was one in Minneapolis! I love that it is a family owned, and family run, business. Also have great price unlimited monthly packages. If I lived closer I would buy that for sure.

Purchased the Ultimate Full Service and the exterior wash was amazing and made my truck extremely clean. However, the interior cleaning was okay. I wanted the cup holder area to be specifically cleaned and probably could've done it myself, but I didn't and that's why I paid someone else to do it. I would recommend for exterior washes only.

I called with a question about their services, and Joe himself returned my call. That conversation alone is what convinced me to bring my vehicle in, but the service is why I'm reviewing. My choice was the ultimate full service package (current price around $32 incl tax), and I couldn't be happier with the results. I just obtained a newer vehicle, and the interior especially needed some love - and the folks at Soapy Joe's showed it that love. No more dust or road dirt, the windows sparkle, and the dash and instrument panel gleam. I'm not sure that a full detailing would have gotten it much cleaner. Joe clearly takes pride in his business, and his team is competent and friendly. If your vehicle needs some attention, you can't go wrong with Soapy Joe's. I'll definitely be back!

This car wash is very busy on Friday afternoon. I got the “Soapy Joe’s Ultimate Full Serve Wash” external version. The wash seemed similar to the wash that everyone else was getting and it was difficult to judge whether or not I was getting my money’s worth (if I was getting all the features of the wash as promised on the wash options sign). That being said, the staff did a nice job and were friendly. However, this car wash is not at all touch free and will snag loose things on your car. For example, my license plate was bent up and a plastic guard under the front of my car was bent as well. The free vacuums are nice!

Only place I take my car to in St Paul to get washed. 30 dollars for inside and out. They take their time too and don't rush through. I had a ton of dog hair in my car and they spent extra time making sure it was all cleaned out. I was very impressed with the care that was taken and is why I always keep coming back.

Excellent car wash, great service, quick process. The original wash (basic) for $8 gets you two guys washing down the car and wheels with high pressure hoses (underbody costs extra). Next is the machine, which uses a good amount of soap and water. Job finishes with a hand dry. Car hasn't looked this clean in years. Will definitely be back. Update: lost one star as their machine is frequently down for repairs. Two of the last three visits I arrive to find they were closed for repairs, very frustrating.

I rolled up and saw the exterior, which gave me second thoughts. Don't let the appearance fool you, great service, attention to detail and pride in their work. Drive in place your order, get a high pressure spray down before going through the wash, then exit the wash for the rest of your purchased package and a streak free wipe down. I was very pleasantly surprised. Underbody spray down was a little lacking, but other than that I was extremely pleased.

I've tried car places throughout the twin cities and soapy joes is simply the best. I drive from south minneapolis because its so good! Good service, excellent pricing and they always do a fantastic job. They even have free dryers if you get a wash, and they actually work compared to many other "free" dryers places. We went here over the weekend and this is the second time they left streaks all over the car. I'm not talking about a streak or two but full streaking on the driver's and passenger's side doors. They did this when we came in February. We thought it was a fluke, that they just missed it because we didn't have any cash to tip them with. However, they did it the last time we went and we tipped them this time as well. I'm paying for my car to look nice and professionally washed, not like I did it myself. I would NOT recommend coming to this place.

Best car wash I've been to in St. Paul. They are doing an excellent job filling the void from the downtowner, which used to be the best before the sale. It's a drive through wash but they prewash and hand dry. Truck always comes out clean. They do the rain-x treatments and the wheels always look stellar. Water beads up and rolls beautifully on all the windows. It's a little spendy if you pay every time but I bought the membership for like 47 bucks a month. I can stop in a get my truck washed once a day with the membership so I make the most of it and get it washed almost every day. It's like 12 bucks extra once a week to have them do the inside. I do tip though every wash, so I suppose that's a little extra too. They have a bunch of other cheaper options too but I get the ultimate wash. I used to do it my self but by time I pump quarters in the self serve down the road, I'm into 8 bucks a time and a solid half hour if not more to wash and dry, do the wheels, and rainx. Plus I need a ladder to do the roof. I not be w!shing my own vehicles anymore unless it's a real pinch!!

I just had my first new car washed yesterday at Soapy Joe's. I first sent an email asking about the type of car wash because I was scared of getting slight scratches (which can add up). Joe replied back pronto and reassured that they use a softer material and I can come check it out too. So I did that, met Joe and he showed me how they do their washes. Made me feel confident and I went ahead with the wash! The wash was fantastic and the car looked beautiful and shiny afterwards. Joe made me feel cared for and attended to. Totally more than just a business but a friendly neighborhood car wash that makes you feel welcomed. Yep my first impression was that good. Will be coming here often especially as the Minnesotan winter rolls in.

The folks were extremely courteous. The service was less than stellar though. Got the Ultimate wash and interior clean, was told the interior would take no more than 15 minutes. That caught my interest...could they really get it clean in 15? Sadly, the answer is no. Lots of dirt in cupholders, underneath floor mats, etc. The exterior wash was great. If you need an interior cleaning, go to the Downtowner.

Great car wash! They spray your car down, then run you through the automated process, and finish with a manual towel-down of any remaining water on the car. Note that this is not a touchless carwash, but it seems to be gentle enough.

I went here with my one-year-old and I'm glad I did! At $30 ish for an Express clean in and out they sure did a good job. What's more, my son had a great time in the waiting room. From the kid's tool bench to library to play kitchen this place is on-point for parents with kids. It took a while, but it was worth it and the kid didn't care; he actually didn't want to go. Only suggestion is to add a changing table somewhere; it's not in the bathroom. Did I miss it? What gives? Btw the car is clean and I'm happy. I'm more happy that it wasn't stressful to bring the kid. I even got coffee.

They do such a great job here! I had parked my car in a ramp that repairs going on in the upper levels. Water dripped down from up above that had cement grit in it. My car was a mess. They took special care in presoaking and prewashing and got it all off. I am so happy!
