This place was excellent and much more affordable/ effective than standard car washes. We are on a road trip in our mini RV/ camper and desperately needed a wash, but did not fit in most car washes due to height. We pulled into their ~13'6" self cleaning lane and was able to clean every component of the vehicle for only $6. Much better clean than most commercial drive-thru washes. The owner was kind and helped us with the hose and offered kind words for our travels. We would definitely come back again if ever in the area!

Chose the self service. Starting price is now $6. Went there the other day early in the afternoon and starting price was $5 🤔 All good. There’s always a line to get in. Everything working properly and today machine was taking cards as well. Sometimes, it’s broken and will only accept cash payment. There are 5 slots altogether. 3 are self service slots, one of which with a very high clearance. The other 2 are the automated (see picture with price list).

I went to wash my car and the gentleman stated my bike rack would not be able to go through the car wash. I wish I would have gotten his name so I could give my appreciation but this gentleman assisted me in getting my bike rack off and washed it while I was in the car wash. This was done kindly and he went over and above. Thank you!

Fair price for you to wash your vehicle yourself. It's nice that you can add money to obtain a few more minutes, instead of paying for a second wash. I will be visiting more often.

My truck ended up being to big for the automatic wash. The owner came out and told me how to get the automatic wash to work in the future for my truck. He then proceeded to refund me my money and have me pull in a manual wash bay. He washed my entire truck by hand and would not accept any money for the service. Great company and my car wash of choice in the future.

Signs say to "wear a mask" however, most people washing their car 🚗 do it alone, and there aren't typically any others within 6 feet. I understand having one on if vacuuming (where its close quarters) or if trying to speak with staff. Prices are average/fair in my opinion, however the site seemed 'run down and not inviting. Possibly consider livening the property up a little.

I'm going to give it four stars cuz it doesn't have rust inhibitor but other than that it's very convenient and well kept with a brushless cleaning system which is great. This is an update to my last review. So after going there today I discovered they had upgraded their payment system which I found a welcome change.

Auto mat does a fine robo wash, but the creases and bumps hold on to crud. Nothing beats a good ol' scrub and buff, but it's ok in a pinch or for a touch-up. Facilities are well kept and stocked.

The wash was fine but the bay I drove into didn’t finish the job. The dryers stopped before I could start to pull my truck through. I don’t know if it was because someone threw a few empty cans out inside of the wash bay and they flew up in the air as it was starting or what. Would have been great if it were functioning as expected.

Busy during the winter , they offer the better automatic wash in town . I value the timed air dryers at the end when it's too cold to wipe a car down . Their self serve wash bays always function well and have been maintained every time I visit . No trash cans anymore ??

We like this car wash. You can wash your own car or go through automatic car wash. They have a place to clean and vacuum out your car I believe that it has a vacuum and a wet vac. Appliances are only a couple years old so everything works and is up to date

The washing technology hasn't been updated in years. The automated bays have only one wash arm whereas I've been to other places where there are two. Hence it takes a really long time and there's often a long line. Also the name of the wash on the sign doesn't match the name of the wash that the automated voice announces that you purchased. Longer vehicles like suburbans can cause the wash to go offline and then you'll be trapped inside. that's because there isn't enough room for the arm to go behind the vehicle. Maybe if people pulled up further that wouldn't be an issue. I don't think there's anything to indicate to the driver to pull up further though. I waited 20 minutes and then a suburban got stuck in there and I was just done. Had to ask the people behind me to back up so I could back up and then leave. At least the attendant that I called said he would refund the $12 I paid for the wash I didn't get. He also offered a $16 wash but I wasn't going to drive the 15 minutes to get there. I wish the Burlington Vermont area had more car washes.

This place is showing a little age. Car still comes clean, I only go through the drive-thru. I've had problems getting my credit card to read the last two times, so be prepared to use cash. That's the only thing that worked. My card works fine everywhere else.

So I went to wash the truck, I had a couple of questions after I went through and the owner ( Mr. Clifford) helped me out, actuality helped me rewash and dry parts of my truck, and gave me a lesson on how to properly wash a vehicle. I thought I knew how but believe me I now think that most of us don't. Anyhow, thank you Checkerbay Car wash! Great experience!

They even got a a bay tall enough for my big rig bobtail, says 13,6 so I can now wash my truck here, I didn't know about the hight of that bay before! Love it

Always great place to get my business car washed and cleaned. The owner sometimes is around and has offered certain ways to clean it better and also helped me clean some stubborn gonk on the side panel of my focus and let me go through again for free. A+ Thanks!

Great experience- was looking around before entering the line for the automatic wash to see if i needed cash or if i could use my card. A very nice gentleman came over and asked if i needed help or had any questions and gave me a great little run down letting me know cards are accepted at all areas of the carwash. Have had frustration not being able to use my card and not having an atm on site at other carwashes.

Convenient but confusing. I did the DIY carwash and nowhere does it say prices for each service offered. It also doesn't say how long the timer has left. Not even sure what I just spent to wash my car.

I like this car wash overall and it accepts cards. I was a bit turned off when a man, assuming someone who works there, approached me and criticized how I had parked my car inside the carwash enclosure.
