Argh, happened again, got charged $3.00 for 1/2 price Tuesday. Looks like the stall I used wasn't reset to $1.50 this morning. Before putting money in, better check the lighted sign above the box. I give up, I tried to like this place but the machines 3/27/19 were not set at $1.50 again, Bay 1 & 2 were at $3.00. Winter is over, I'll go back to washing my car in the driveway.

Grand Avenue has all the products and services you need to help keep your car squeaky clean all year round. It's well priced and worth the value every time. I try to go late Tuesday so I can still get the 1/2 off special, but even if I don't make it in Tuesday I don't seem to pay far too much. If you haven't gone here before, make for a well deserved car wash cleaning. You won't regret it!

$1.50 vacuum $3.00 for car wash. Some of the car wash bays take credit cards. I wouldn't swipe my card there, it seems sketchy, but ymmv. Changed my review to four stars. I probably shouldn't, but the machines didn't steal money from me this time. The first vacuum I tried didn't suck very hard. The second one I tried was fine. This place is hit or miss. If you go on a Tuesday everything is half price and the lines can be ridiculous.

Not worth the cost. Had to pull through one bay which wouldn't seem to sense my credit card sliding. Second bay (each has 2 spots for washing) had forward bay out of order so I had to back up to the other. Foam wash wasn't very foamy and seemed diluted. Paid $6.50 for a wash which didn't remove as much dirt as the $7 touchless wash at Kwik Trip - and for that extra 50¢ you get your car dried at Kwik Trip, albeit not thoroughly. If I come back, I'll use my own scrubber and spray some of my own soapy solution on my car before pulling into the bay.

I really love this place, found it after work one night and was surprised that their open all night, the pressures really great as apposed to other self service wash bays in the tc and surrounding ereas , the last time I came through the water actually got warm which I havent experienced at other places. Wish yall had cherry bomb lol but wish in one hand eh??. (Used to work a wash bay at a truck wash) I've read other reviews and I'll say that in all things, come prepared and check your expectations, I don't use my card, or use anything but quarters (the change machines have worked for me everytime) and hey no problems, thus I get the wash I want by hand. You can't get that in a mechanized wash bay. Also I have a shop vac at home so I can't attest to the vacuums here. Don't expect the world for 3 bucks cause if you can't take the heat just go pay someone else to do it. This place is perfect , it's self service meaning your gonna get the experience you choose to have.

The car wash works fine, and it’s half price on Tuesdays which is a great deal. Much cheaper than going through the automatic car washes. The place needs more regular maintenance though, tried to use one of the vacuums and it didn’t work and couldn’t get my money back either (coin return was broken).

Tuesday 1/2 price is well worth it. The original price is great also. The pressure wash is crazy powerful and efficient in its job. Detergents always work. Its not as clean with Mud Trucks leaving rocks and mud behind but I still go 2x a week.

Washers wouldn't start up with my girl's chime card but it took ¹⁰.⁰⁰ dollars off it so we moved to a different bay but still wouldn't except card. Luckily I had cash on me. Washer wand worked excellent. Called number on door about being charged on card but it said to call back during business hours,so we will see what happens when the attendant is there.

Grand Ave Carwash is the best!! I encountered a problem and the management quickly and professionally resolved it. 1/2 price Tuesdays are a bargain and the recent addition of time clocks are an added bonus.

Great car wash self service Tuesdays the best 1/2 price. I buy the coins so I get a few wash. Wish they had the rollers to wring out the drying towels, While there today I watched a vehicle pull in and emptied his vehicle of garbage bags. They filled 3 -55 gal barrels with garbage bags. Really sad.

Tuesday is discount day. Like that you can add time rather than but a whole new cycle. Foam brush and high power sprayer gets the job done well

one of the machines didn't accept my card it charged my credit card $17 which the water hose and soap weren't working as well. I told them and they refunded it. Never had a problem till this one. However they helped me and were nice enough to refund the money through mail.

Yes!!! Love these quarter car washes, they are so hard to find anymore!! This one has $1.50 Tuesdays - which is half price, regular price is $3.00/cycle. If you're the type that digs the cheap-o car wash and can get it done in one cycle, this is the place for you on a Tuesday!! It's even heated in winter! Gets a little busy in the evening, so head over early!

Before you enjoy the splash of water and a fun filled car wash, please take a look at the timer on the wall. The soap/water pressure would ‘nt stop and you won’t realize how much you’re being charged for the wash. I was charged around 21$ which is more than most of the touch free car washes. But, I’m being frank that it was my negligence to ignore the timer and continue coz I’m still getting the water pressure.

One of the better self service car washes around. They extend time on was that allowed me to finish washing the important parts of my personal transportation. Speaking of that here's a tip. Do you the salty winter roads of Minnesota try to wash the following areas better than normal. 1. Focus on the lower panels of you vehicle. 2. Behind you wheel of front. 3. Both front and rear of back wheel. 4. All door jams of vehicle. 5. All your panel gaps including around hood and trunk or gate. 6. Put extra effort in cleaning your wheel wells. Clearing all build up. Manufacturers invest a great deal of time in engineering automobiles to extend the life expectancy of durability when it come to panel erosion although you can help the life expectancy much more by deep cleaning your ride.

They've gotten very cheap, and not in a good way. $1.50 gets you about 30 seconds to vaccum your vehicle.

This time I have a problem, They charged me $10.50 to my Bank Card. They also charged me $3 for my other Credit Card because the first Credid Card machine wasn't functioning i tried 3 different CC then backed up and used the other CCard machine and it worked and I washed my car, but guess what!!! 🤬 they charged my bank card $10.50 and other CC $3. I will dispute both i will accept the Max which is $7.5

I've been going to this self-serve car wash since I started driving over 30 years ago and it's still the best in town $3 cycle so you don't get stuck multiple cycles and they keep it up well!

Half price Tuesdays are always where I'm at!! Some of the vacuums work better then others and some spray nozzles dont put out any soap but its cheap enough to figure that out for next time

I've been coming to this car wash for over a decade now & it's very useful. It's not the cleanest place but it's sufficient & cheap. I'd recommend coming here on half price Tuesday's & you get to wash ur car for $1.25. Otherwise it's the normal $2.50 for a car wash. It really depends what you want those cuz they have wax/soap/scrubber/rinse etc... It only allows you 4 minutes at a time to use a certain wash, So if you don't finish right away they will need an additional $2.50 for the next 4 minutes as well, Or else you got a soapy car. They do have vacuums there as well for $1 each & several trash bins for when you are cleaning out ur car, They do have a can Pepsi machine at the door which I really enjoy but that's just me. They also have 3 change machines & several different cleaning products to buy to clean ur car, They have armorall for tires & leather/towels/air fresheners/window cleaner etc... The property itself could use a little updating, The road & driveways have pot holes & cracks in them & it doesn't seem to be picked up that much Unless this place only has a schedule clean up day once a month? Over all this place is a cheap fast way to wash ur car & the location is located near 35W just a mile down the road which is nice.

Favorite car wash in Bloomington. Change room ,$20's , $10's ,$5's , air freshener , window towels ect.. wash them pull straight forward to the vacuums and trash to dry and clean inside. Nice place.
