Just purchased a vehicle (2014 Toyota Corolla S) from Smith VW and had a really great overall experience. Zero complaints , had a very smooth, hassle-free process from start to finish. The original sales rep Justin wasn't high pressure, was friendly, and very helpful. He brought in Jeff who I believe was one of the sales managers, who ended up helping out significantly with the financing approval and also making sure he took care of the 1 concern I had (brake pads being too worn down) before I was willing to move forward. I left Thursday night after putting down a deposit, then came back Friday afternoon to find the car detailed, cleaned up, and the brake pads replaced! That definitely helped secure my decision and put any apprehension about making the purchase at complete ease. I originally walked in planning to use the pre-qualification through COAF, but Jeff & Brian were actually able to get me a better % rate and lower payment through another bank. Ended up working much more in my favor and I'm glad they offered that as an additional option. Honestly, I couldn't have been happier with the experience thus far. I've only driven the car for 24-48hrs so far, but this is one beautiful vehicle. Thanks for everything Smith VW!

Let me start by saying that I am picky with who I let touch my cars. With that being said, I would never hesitate to take either of my fully modified cars or my girlfriend's stock Tiguan to Smith VW. Whether it's for an alignment, a t-shirt, an aftermarket intake, or a simple oil change, Smith VW is the one stop shop. My MKV R32 recently needed the 80k service and I needed it done as soon as possible. I called and spoke with Service Manager Jason Willey and he not only got me in on the day and time I needed, he had the car done and ready for me an hour and a half ahead of time. We've already purchased two vehicles from Smith VW in the past two years and we will surely be back to purchase more. The friendly atmosphere and the enthusiast based staff make it a pleasure to do business there.

I Loved my experience at Smith VW! After multiple attempts to fix my vehicle at another location, and being told it was unable to even be corrected. George the mechanic, repaired a issue I had spent 6 months trying to have fixed at other locations! All I can say is THANK YOU! You guys have totally given my boyfriend so much happiness. Rick was our salesman. He had the car ready for us and took us to a great route for the test drive. He was efficient in collecting information and returned quickly with responses. He stayed after hours just to make sure we drove off of the lot happy. Jeff was the person we had negotiated the finances with mostly. He was pretty stern, understandably, but totally met us in the middle in regards to our expectations. I've never met the sales team, but the service department is fantastic. They understood my circumstances and never pressured me into any unnecessary maintenance. I've had consistently good experiences every time I brought my car in for servicing. They even offer a shuttle service to help you get to/from work while your car is being serviced. If you do wait for your car, they have free WiFi in the waiting area. I never felt slighted because I didn't buy my car from them, which is something I can't say for the first VW service department I contacted. Definitely five stars from me!

Last Thursday morning, while dashing through the rain to an early appointment, I realized that my windshield wipers weren’t doing their job very well. That afternoon I stopped by at Smith Volkswagen to buy a set. As I entered, I remembered that AAA had changed a flat for me the week before, so I needed to look at replacing two tires. At the counter Tony greeted me, and said they couldn’t do the tires that day, but went in back to see if they had the right ones. He came back out with good news. They had the tires in stock, and could actually do the job right then. In less than an hour, (spent in the always pleasant waiting room lounge) I had new windshield wipers and two new tires, plus a replacement wheel cover. All this at the price quoted me at the beginning, and with extremely courteous attention. I can always rely on great service at Smith VW. ( I’ve been a customer since 1978.)

I moved the service of my 2012 Passat to Smith because the customer service at my last dealership was lacking. Every service manager that I have had interaction with has been kind and professional. I liked Smith so much I decided to purchase my new 2017 from them last year. Kevin was my salesman he was great. I actually started looking in 2016 and test drove cars then. Kevin dealt with my indecision like a pro. When I was ready to purchase in April of 2017 he was great. When I come in for my regular service and I see him he always makes a point to speak to me and ask how I am doing. I recently brought the 2012 in for new tires and brake inspection. Jason was my service manager this time and I was super happy with him. He called me before my appointment and went over everything. I dropped it off the night before (I usually do that for most of my services because of how far I drive to get to Smith) drop off was easy and quick. Jason called to let me know that the front brakes were great but the back brakes needed to be replaced. The price was great and they added it to my service that day and had it done at the time they originally said. I picked up my car and the process was quick spoke to Jason about service of my 2017 for the following week and he set that up for me. I went outside to leave only to find that my 6 year old battery had finally given up went back in and Jason dropped what he was doing and grabbed a service tech and meant me outside. Without hesitation they had a new battery in my car in a matter of minutes and the price was great as well. We love our VWs so much that we are on our third one. Smith will be our VW dealer for life.

We are returning customers as it relates to VW products, but new to Smith VW. My husband and I had been looking for an Atlas the last two months from our other VW Dealer and did not get much of anywhere. By chance, my husband went into Smith VW, told them what I wanted and maybe a week went by, not even and they had several options of the Atlas I wanted and then some. Total process took 4 hours =/- over the course of two days. One the first day I went in, test drove one of many and decided to move forward. The 2nd day they went over everything very thoroughly giving me my worst case and best case scenarios. Joe Robinson made sure I liked the car and that all my needs were met aesthetically. Jeff made sure financially I knew what I was getting into and even went a step further to present to me another vehicle that may fit both my wants/needs, but also my budget. When all was said and done and it was time to sign away, although our sales associate Joe Robinson was finishing up another customer, everyone at the dealer made sure we were taken care of. Mike Dileonardo was a team player and kept us entertained while we waited for Joe and than lastly Brian made it a quick process to sign all that was needed. Everyone was so welcoming and you really see the family work environment in action at Smith VW. I am over the moon happy happy with my purchase. Thanks Smith VW for a wonderful experience!!!!

Smith is a just ok VW service center. Expect EVERYTHING to take multiple hours to get done. Its very rare that your car will be seen at it's actual appointment time. It took me 3 hours to get my oil changed during my last visit. 2 of which my car was sitting in the parking lot past it's appointment time. Unfortunately this is normal for Smith. I also had them diagnose a noise coming from my wheel which I feel was incorrectly indicated as merely tire noise. The service rep told me the tech had looked at it for an hour and couldn't afford to take anymore time on the issue. The Staff is moderately friendly at best, and often give off an air that they are doing you some kind of favor by servicing you vehicle there. I dont get the impression that the staff or techs care deeply that they get things done correctly, or in a timely fashion. I honestly expect more a dealer that prides itself on being enthusiast oriented.The lady at the front desk who takes payments is very polite and friendly though. They also do not offer loaner cars which is a huge disappointment in 2018. They seem to never recognize me, or acknowledge that I have come back again. Even though I have spent hours and hours and hours getting service with them and sitty in their waiting room. I assume it because they just don't care. The one benefit is I can usually get an appointment her much sooner than the VW dealers near me.

I've had my Passat for 30,000 miles and four routine service appointments since purchasing the car for an incredible price from Smith. I searched 3 dealers, pulled a KBB fair purchase, and a Truecar price. Smiths folks were able to hit the nail on the head and win my business. More importantly though, they've stood by their product. Their service people have been kind, knowledgeable and professional. They made a mistake by leaving a cap off once, but we're unexpectedly quick to make things right. Despite being a newer customer to Smith with this car, I'd recommend them in a heartbeat.

They have often given me loaner cars to minimize my inconvenience. Out of all the car dealerships I have been to, this one has the best service department I have seen in a very long time. I found a used car I was interested in online at Smith vw. It was a scion but when I called to talk to a sales person Kevin was was very helpful and knowledgable from the start. I was coming from about 2 hours away and kevin was able to get me the price I wanted over the phone and the car was detailed (very well) and waiting for me when me and my wife got there and we were in and out in less then an hour. Lately I’ve been considering the Volkswagen Tiguan as one of the SUVs to purchase due to recent needs when I am driving. Besides doing my own research on the vehicle in which I was sold on, the time began to shop around. I attended Smith Volkswagen on Kirkwood Highway. I was greeted by Will Deblois, and we took one out for a test drive. As we were driving he literally went over everything important, and answered all of my questions sharply with genuine confidence. We went back to work out the numbers, and we were able to obtain a monthly amount in which I was completely satisfied with. The manager Jeff was great as we went over the final processes, signing documents, and etc. I want to add that everyone at Smith Volkswagen was assertive, courteous, and honest. I purchased my 2012 Volkswagen GTI here in August of 2016. Our salesman, Kevin, was great to work with. I have invested a lot of money into the GTI since and have had all performance and maintenance work done here at Smith and do not regret it! I have had the best experience working with Jason in the Service department and he is the most knowledgeable and friendliest person I have had the pleasure of meeting. Volkswagen has been very good with helping me in regards to both servicing and questions asked as well as always doing a good job. These guys have just about every performance modification you could want for your VW or Audi. They install everything in a timely manner and while the prices may seem a bit much the reward is well worth it. I highly recommend this place to anyone searching for a new or pre-owned vehicle due to the excellent customer service and how well they accommodate you. I also highly recommend going here for anyone looking to modify their vehicle so it can reach its' full potential. These guys will help you out a lot and give you the best possible deals in order to provide the best customer experience. Recently I have been very busy with work so I had my roommate drive my Audi RS3 up to Smith VW for exhaust work, Bobby got my car in immediately and took my roommate back to work so that she didn’t have to miss work waiting for my car! The Performance department finished my RS3’s exhaust very quickly yet very efficiently, saving time and saving me money. Let me tell you something people, I've purchased many new cars in my 20 years of driving, however the purchase experience at Smith VW made by Bob Fawley was the greatest. This guy made the whole trade in process made simpler than ABC. Offer on my trade was better than any other VW place I went to (and I went to 2 other ones.) The price on the new Passat SE was too good to pass on. The whole buying process from beginning to end was less than 2 hours and that included almost 10 mile test drive. Bob, I thank you again for going over the new vehicle, explaining the trade in credit, the new warranty, even the lifetime engine warranty on the new car (offered only at Smith for as long as you own your car and unlimited miles..WHOE DOESN'T WANT THAT???) Despite all of the minor issues spread out throughout the first month of my purchase, each time Tim smith and Andy from the service department did everything they could to make sure my car was taken care of, free of charge. I've been to countless VW service dealers in the tri-state area, and Smith is the only place I trust. They always do work right the first time, they do it professionally, and they are accountable for everything. The service department at Smith VW is the best in the region. I had to get my supercharger belts replaced at the 100K service, and went to Prestiege VW for it because it was closer. They performed the 100K service, but did not replace the belts, and said they would call when they were able to get them in. 3 weeks later they still did not have the belts and did not know when they would be able to get them. I went to Smith VW and they had the belts in 3 days, and installed them in less than 2 hours. I will go to Smith VW for all my future maintenance needs even though it is further away than 3 other VW dealerships.

In February I dropped off my 2010 Audi A4 in for some performance work, including stage 2 tune, downpipes and exhaust. I was informed that the work would be not be completed on time due to ECU complications. I am located in New Jersey and would not be able to pick up due to work conflicts. Rather than be without my car for additional days, Arno and Jason went out of their way (literally) by agreeing to drive my car to my workplace in South Jersey! More recently I had suspension work done including coil overs, wheels and tires, and subframe mount inserts ... I received the car back and experienced some noises but could not isolate them. I finally had the chance to get the car on my lift and upon inspection of subframe mount inserts I found that one was bent and showed wear on the mounting surface. It was determined that this was somehow install related and Arno and Jason sent me a new insert kit. Everything on the car feels and performs great now. Kudos to Arno, Jason, and Rob for going above and beyond and standing behind their work! When I decide to go bigger turbo I will be coming back to these guys for sure!

Recently my 2012 VW Tiguan was having some performance issues. I had to have my car towed to Smith VW. Upon inspection of my vehicle, Smith determined that I had two bad coils. Unfortunately, the warranty on my Tiguan had recently expired.
