Car shopping at Sheridan was a more than pleasant experience. We stopped to look at a Ford Expedition and Dan came outside to greet us and ask if we wanted to test drive the car. Moving forward with the buying process was such a smooth process. There was zero pressure from Dan. I feel they are very reasonable and fair at this dealership, often not the case! Meeting with the finance manager, Chris, went just as well. Overall the best experience and most comfortable I’ve ever felt buying a car hands down!

Sheridan Ford always takes great care of my Expedition. Just love the car. Only constructive feedback is they don’t seem to have the staff to let customers know in a timely manner when their car is ready. Last three oil changes I’ve had to walk back to the service desk to see if it was ready.

However, we didn’t get any other info about the vehicle until we picked up the vehicle and I saw the green, yellow, red report. I would appreciate knowing if there is anything going on with the vehicle to keep an eye on. Also I don’t think charging a 3% credit card fee at a dealership is necessary. Car maintenance and repairs are not cheap and very difficult to pay in cash.

I ordered a 2022 Ford Maverick on 08/07/21. It took Ford over 400 days to build and deliver my car due to supply chain issues, but Sheridan Ford kept me in the loop the entire time and made the long wait well worth it. Bobby Tigani was just a few weeks into his new position with Sheridan, and he was a pleasure to work with throughout the buying process. And the most important thing I would like to note is that Sheridan valued my trade on at $9,000 upon ordering and the held to that price after 400 days and 20,000 more miles. It is that one factor that will ultimately bring me back to Sheridan Ford to buy my next vehicle. I became very frustrated, several times, about the long wait, but guarantee-ing the value of my vehicle and holding strong to that commitment won Sheridan Ford over with me. I love this new truck and I can't say enough about the Sheridan Ford Team!!!

After an unsuccessful attempt @ WaWa to put air in all 4 of my tires. Yes friends all 4 of my tires needed air. I drove my SUV to Sheridan Ford ( my dealer) for help. Got my SUV serviced again for an oil change and a recall repair. Another great experience. Both were completed in good time and I used their shuttle this time. Excellent customer service. They also provided a full check up and recommended some items i should consider for my SUV. Thank you see you next time.

I only have been to this dealership 2x and both times for service. The folks with whom I dealt were polite and accommodating, and the service was thorough and prompt. My only issues pertain to communication following one of the appointments, in that it was promised but never happened. In addition, they had my old address and phone # on file and, while I updated the information, they did not update their records. So, -A rather than a solid A. I like them, and I trust them. They just need to smooth some edges

I went to get my car serviced on a Saturday. The overall service was fine. I just think that it would do the company better if the staff used the liner on the floors of the driver seat so the workers muddy shoes won’t leave a mess. Also greasy hands all in the car after service.

Dan was great I purchased a 14 Equus and love it. It is a used car but still amazing with a decent warranty. The back center arm rest is off a little and no one showed me that but this is a used car. This was my only issue with car. The service was fast and excellent thank you

When other repair shops couldn't help me when I needed help Sheridan ford told me to bring it right in they did a diagnostic order of the parts and had it repaired in two days. Other shops wouldn’t have even let me drop it off yet. The best part was knowing it was repaired by experienced authorized mechanics. When I went to pick up the truck I gave the cashier (in the showroom) my credit card and she informed me there would be a 3% surcharge because of using a credit card (this was over $1000 repair bill). Luckily I had enough cash to pay bill but wasn't offered a discount for paying cash
I feel as though customers should be informed ahead of time that if they pay with a credit card they will be assessed a surcharge so there are no surprises when picking up and paying for your vehicle

December 2022 you Gotta know this holiday season is a crazy one and yes sadly we all as consumers want what we want when we want it so you have to know the experience in the service department as a customer (dvet with much more discipline, but not perfect) witnessing other customers looked like the aforementioned description of how we as people tend to be, but I will say it was same as usual and those guys in that service department definitely need to be praised more and or given more pats on the back if not more $ …but during a busy day “holidays”, it seems at times we have a habit of giving no understanding to “workers” but yet my boy Ken a man who works behind a kiosk who is literally trying to help alleviate stress to the day has the wherewithal to work on vehicles he could address in the bay who has also done it for me often (yay🙏🏿 and Duane🙏🏿) still having a willing desire to do it on this crazy busy “holi-day” and even the service manager my boy Duane who can come out his office to clear that service room in five minutes flat… most impressive (yes, my Darth Vader voice)!… so if no one else says it, you guys are awesome and your buddy Dave got your back and would advertise for YOU guys for free!… yes a little innuendo with a low jab to my boy EJ at Mercedes, who dropped the ball (July 2021) knowing I bought a few vehicles from there, and 2 from him there in Wilmington thus starting my secret quest to own a pickup and my love for the “F150” so thanks Ej…hell I get pulled over less than I did when I drove a new Mercedes suv but in this 1 year newer truck and now “white” (now having 1white benz truck and 1white BIG BOY TRUCK n driveway😉) they probably think I’m a white guy behind that tint. This is awesome!

I took my Jeep to the Sheridan Body shop after somebody keyed it this summer. When you take your car to the shop, you want to feel respected and trust that you are getting a fair deal. I can't say enough about Karen and the team at the body shop. They wrote a very fair estimate (I had estimates from other shops to compare it to) and I decided to take the Jeep to Sheridan. Once the vehicle was in the shop, they called me to say the damage was NOT as significant as originally thought and the repair would be less; by almost $700. I understand that this won't happen every time but the integrity, honesty, and looking out for my needs (the customer) speaks volumes about the people here. Thank you. I hope to not need a body shop again, but if I do.... I'm going to Sheridan.

1. They no longer have Quick Lane service. I wish this was clearly stated on their website. I had to wait 1 & 1/2 for a simple oil and the filter change.
2. When I got home I noticed a wire from the engine compartment was hanging outside of the hood. I had to open hood and reposition the wire.

Overall wonderful dealer and service team especially Rick! However the older bald gentleman working parts today was extremely rude. Treated me like some dummy that didn't know what I was talking about when I walked in with the part I needed in my bare hands. Said it wasn't what it in fact was. A oil coolant hose. Was really hoping to give my money to sheridan and get it but unfortunately since I apparently didn't know what I was talking about or needed I ordered it online else where. This is an update on my previous review. John was practically a Miracle Worker when it came to my car!!
As background, I bought my Ford Fusion Hybrid at another dealership. A few months later it wouldn't start.....multiple times. It ate up several new batteries, etc. It There seemed to be a problem with the computer which helps assure the battery gets recharged.
I took my car in several times. Each time, it seemed fixed, only to have the same problem a few months later.
I reached the point that I was ready to sue the other dealership (and Ford Corporation) for selling me a lemon.
John went above and beyond to bring in a computer engineer from Ford headquarters. The car worked great then, but with my history, I needed to wait a while to be sure.

I bought my car at Sheridan Ford and I opted for the lifetime oil change. I just went in yesterday to get my oil changed. I called right before I left my house to see how crowded they were and the receptionist told me there were 4 people ahead of me. I needed an oil change (I was 3 weeks late on getting it), so I didn't really care about the wait. When I got there, the 4 people were still there, but the service team was working so fast, I only had to wait about 40 minutes for my car.

I'm wondering is this survey new because I've been to Sheridan Ford over and over for the same problem and a few other times and the service was a night mare. From the beginning to end. Long story short every time I was not shown any respect or dignity. George and John and the new guy was awful. The way they talked to me I had to verbally defend myself. Then it was where I just by pass their station to receive service. Went to Dawayne and got most relief. Most my respect came from Ken Walker. Every thing was on the top. He was very understanding about my hearing problem. Make a long story short He was a perfect gentleman and treated me with the upmost respect. I could go on and on and on and on and on again of the times I came for service. Maybe 6 times and only once was handled right after Dawayne took care of the one before last so there you have it. Was happy with the service and the whole buying experience and the car has been great since I got it 2 months ago. I did however have a problem with my temp tags expiring and when I called to check if my plate was there they informed me they are about a month and a half backed up with sending out permanent plates in my area. They told me on the phone that they could reissue a temp tag until the plates become available. The woman I spoke to was very nice and told me that I would have them mailed to me in 2 days time, as it was impossible for me to pick them up due to me traveling. However when I returned home at 11:00pm two nights later it was not there. I couldn't call to check up on the tag as the next day was Sunday and they were closed. However on Monday they were hand delivered by an employee to my home. Originally I was a little annoyed that they were not here when they were supposed to be, but because of the wonderful customer service and them going out of their way to make sure I had what I needed I feel like 5 stars is a much better rating. I will 100% buy from them in the future and will recommend them to anyone looking to get a new vehicle.

The three times I’ve been, the staff is friendly and service has been satisfactory. An oil change there was pretty standard. The second visit was for a tire plug, which they were very accommodating about, fitting me in last minute and during COVID. Though, I was told to park my car and someone would be out, which was not the process. But after waiting a while, checking with a different employee and explaining what happened, they did the plug for free. Then I had to go back for another tire that was losing air. Long story short, they tried to sell me in replacing the tire and that for my Ford Ecosport, it’d be over $200 for one, as they couldn’t fix it based on where the screw had entered my tire. Sent a photo to my MD hometown mechanic, who said it was totally fixable, and that my all wheel drive vehicle should not have tires replaced as one-offs. The folks at Sheridan didn’t seem to know this. Additionally, even though I didn’t need new tires just yet, my mechanic was able to find me some at about half the price. So I’ll be leaving the standard stuff to Sheridan and sticking with trusted auto professionals I know for anything that might be costly.

I am a bit displeased by my experience with Sheridan Ford. Initially I brought my vehicle to the dealership to satisfy a safety recall (airbag). This was taken care of. I also brought in a spare Smartkey to be programmed and I asked for an 80 mph speed limiter to be removed. When i arrived to pick up my car i was charged $130 for the service. I gladly paid but the key wouldn't unlock the car. When I mentioned this I was given a couple vague reasons why the key wouldn't work. I feel as though the key should have been checked prior to my arrival and no charge applied as the job wasnt complete. The personnel I met were very polite and I'm hoping the airbag recall was done correctly, my only problem was that I paid for a service I don't feel was completed

I purchased a used vehicle on 4/24/2020. I test drove the car & had a mechanic go over the car. There were a couple of small issues with the car. The left back tail light had a lot of moisture inside the light. One of the guys (not my saleswoman) told me that it is normal to have moisture inside the lights. I told him I don’t know how it could be normal when water drips on electric wires. He did finally agree that the light should be replaced. Everything else was fine until I was signing the finance paper & one paper was for a extended warranty. I had asked my saleswoman if the dealership offered any warranties & she didn’t know. I did sign the paper & said it was a generous warranty that the dealership offered. Then I was told the warranty was $2,800.00 & it was already figured in the financing. I think this is a very deceptive practice. I was not asked if I wanted the warranty or advised of the price. Now, I do regret signing that paper.

Everyone was so professional and great!! It was the best, no pressure car buying experience I have ever had. Bobby Bird was so easy to talk to and more importantly listened to my requests. He had the car brought around while we were talking (unbeknownst to me) and had the car running and cool when we went to look at it. I have purchased four vehicles from Sheridan. My neighbor has purchased two. I am a realtor Have Been in the profession since 1987 So I know about sales and customer service and how you should treat people basically it’s a simple rule and philosophy treat others as you wish to be treated. This is what you get with Sheridan. Case in point. I have a 2005 Ford Escape from Sheridan And for nearly the last 15 years I bring my truck in for the lifetime oil change. Now each time - they do a diagnostic research on my vehicle and tell me what I may need to keep my vehicle in tiptop shape. It’s completely up to me what I want done or what I don’t want done - they ask me in the wonderful waiting room now complete with a TV Wi-Fi coffee water whatever you need. Approximately 10 years ago I needed my running boards removed and they did that for me at no cost. When I thought my brakes were faltering ( make a noise squeaking / grinding) I asked them to check that and they did it for free; instead of all the brakes having to be replaced it only cost me the amount for Pads ( and kindly instructed me to stop riding my brakes LOL) saving me hundreds of dollars. They are fabulous they take care of their customers ; because I hold Customer Service to such a high level of expectation- I don’t usually give recommendations because that expectation is rarely met - but after all the years that I have had with Sheridan and the service and most of all this last experience I had with the down to earth caring completely over the top professionals gave me a reason to do so. Bar none I’m definitely giving my Sheridan a five star rating; if you have any doubts.... don’t.

AWESOME Dealer, What a GREAT sales experience.. I live in Richmond Va. My wife and I had been looking for a used car specific model and options. I found this car on line and decided to call on it. We are located 227 miles away. I was amazed when I emailed Sheridan ford about this car. The Sales consultant Gary Ford answered my email right away, called me answered all of my questions We negotiated a fair price that I was comfortable with. I got off the phone just to chat about it with my wife. Gary called back about 10 minutes to tell me that the car had a problem. That was great they were up front about it. Because I live out of state they knew that I couldn't get the car fixed in Delaware they discounted the car more than enough to make it still worth my while to buy it from them. I took the train from Richmond to Delaware Where Gary picked me up at the train station. I love the car... The Dealership did exactly what they said they would do. Great experience from start to finish. Searched “Sheridan Ford” on Facebook, and Carol’s sales page appeared. I messaged her about a truck I was interested in for a lease trade in and after messaging back and forth we locked in the truck and deal that I wanted and was comfortable with. Never once did I feel pushed or rushed to come into the dealership. She could’ve easily said that she would only negotiate face to face or that I needed to stop in. I messaged her on Tuesday and was signing papers Friday night. The final step was with the finance manager Langston who upheld the same superb customer service. I live in Maryland and my car broke down in Brooklyn, NY and it's not drivable so I decided to tow it to a dealership halfway to Maryland which is Delaware. I did a night drop off and in the morning I spoke with John and from that day everything gets taking care smoothly until my car gets fixed even I'm 100 miles away and just talking over the phone, unlike other dealership you are already waiting and still they don't care about the customer. Came in for an oil change. No appointment scheduled. Was in and out in about an hour. Check in left something to be desired, she was not very pleasant, did not tell me how much the service I asked for would be, just pushed a paper at me to sign. Maybe was was having a bad day. After waiting for 55 minutes with no updates and I could see my vehicle was no longer in the shop I walked back up to the front where I had checked in to find out how much longer they thought it would be. I found the service adviser (a gentleman this time) to have my keys and paperwork on his desk while he was texting on his phone. I was a little annoyed seeing him answering his texts and not closing out my paperwork so I could go along with the rest of my day. Once he realized he had my keys and paperwork he had it closed out in five minutes or so. All in all not a terrible experience but the customer service was lacking.

I called around to get an oil change, Bayshore (1) but it was at least 4 hour wait. Porter Ford the worst I called and was hung up on. When searching for a car they were the worst. I called Sheridan Ford, John answered the phone very pleasant and I was encouraged to come in with no wait. I came right over seen John at the desk, I waited about 10 mins before I was acknowledged and asked if I could be helped by another service agent 10 mins later. The interaction was good and I got my oil changed. My vehicle smelled like fuel once I got back into it, assuming from service tech & no plastic floor mat. The only negative down side was not being acknowledged for 10 mins standing there waiting to be helped. Other than that, it would have been 5 stars.

We bought my Ford Focus in 2014 brand new. In the first month, a fuse blew and luckily a friend of mine is a mechanic and fixed it for me. A year later, my sister got into a car accident so they needed to replace the door. They said it would only take 3 days. They ordered the wrong door and it ended up taking even longer due to the over sight. A few months later there was a recall on a part invoking my transmission, they said I could get it taken care of in about a month when the parts would come in. They didn’t take care of it until 4 months later.
Customer service wise, they’re very friendly. But when it comes to getting my car serviced in the time frame they set for themselves, they have fallen extremely short.
As of late, they seem to have gotten better but I’ve only been going for oil changes. I don’t often go to them for anything else at this point.

My experience at Sheridan Ford was unlike any Ford Dealer experience I have ever had. On Tuesday, February 25th at 8:30pm, my 2010 Ford Fusion suddenly stalled out on Kirkwood Highway. Panic stricken, I called AAA and had them bring it to Sheridan Ford. At 7:34am the next day, Chuck called me to determine what had happened to my vehicle. Sensing that I was still upset, Chuck reassured me that he would take care of my car and find out what caused this to happen. When I arrived at 8:30am, Tara and Chuck were at the desk and greeted me with a welcoming hello. They took me back to the lounge area and told me that as soon as they knew anything that they'd let me know. About 30 minutes later, Chuck came back and explained to me about the nation-wide recall on the throttle body that affected the Fusions, which was the root of my vehicle's issue. He also explained that my battery and mass air sensor needed to be looked at, which was a HUGE blessing. Once the vehicle was finished, Chuck and Tara told me that if I had any questions or concerns, that they're just a phone call away. They treated me like I was part of their family...how thoughtful was that!?
On Thursday, Chuck gave me a follow up call, just to make sure I was okay, as well as the vehicle. The fact that he went the extra mile to make sure that *I* was okay, speaks volumes. Thank you so much for going above and beyond to make my day that much brighter, and to Tara and Chuck for making this process a little less scary.

I just have to start by saying WOW! After being referred to Tim Sheridan by another dealer, Tim contacted my father and I asking us exactly what kind of vehicle we were looking for. Not even an hour later he called back letting us know that he found one and he offered us the best deal that we found after two weeks of looking throughout the northeastern area. The next day he had the vehicle brought to Sheridan Ford in PA. We arrived around 10:15 on December 23, 2015 to a staff that was unbelievably friendly and a Mustang GT that made your jaw drop. Their sales associate Richard was extremely friendly and made us feel like we were a part of the Sheridan Ford family. Additionally, Jason helped us with the financial part of the deal as if we had known him for years. Tim Sheridan and the staff at Sheridan Ford are absolutely a class act. The BEST experience my dad has ever had and he has purchased over 20 cars. I called for a Warrenty service appointment but they at he time were very back up and I was scheduled for the earliest service appointment almost 2 week out on December 04. Today I called first thing on a whim to try and get in for service sooner and they took me today which was a plus. So I have Brought my 2011 Ford Fiesta in for a Warrenty transmission computer replacement and will be completed free of charge by mid day tomorrow 100‰ covered under Fords extended warranty die to many issues with this specific model and year. So long as all goes as expected tomorrow and I receive my car back I will not only be very happy with the service but it's mildly impressed by and the selection of vehicles at Sheridan on Kirkwood Highway in Wilmington Delaware.

I've been going to Sheridan Ford for the past 6 years. I have a Turbo SHO and an F350 diesel 6.7 pick up. The service is ALWAYS 5 Star and they will bend over backwards to get the best price on tires. The Sheridan service staff are the only people I allow to maintain my vehicles. Believe me, the organization is TOP NOTCH.
Sheridan Ford also has monthly parts n service discounts. I just updated the 2 batteries in my diesel for under $170 bucks each installed! Ask for Tara........she’s AWESOME!

I set an appointment to drop my car off early Monday morning to have my rear bumper fixed. I was told repairs would take 2-3 days, however my car was not given back until the Tuesday of the following week. Upon receiving my car I found that the trunk piece that you must take off to get the bumper off was not replaced. The cover along with the clips were sitting in my trunk. The customer service was a bright spot as there is always someone to greet you and are professional. They apologized for the inconvenience and allowed me to bring my car back the following day to put the cover they forgot back in place.
My biggest issues were the time in which it took to get the repair done after being told it’d take only 2-3 days. And opening my trunk to find the cover and clips not being placed back in. But, besides that all else was good.

Attention to detail looks to be improved. I had my ford excape in for 2 recalls and oil and tire rotation. Loaner car given and all was well until after I picked my car up next day. I was driving over de memorial bridge and service light came on saying low on coolant see service. I called and had to return it to Sheridan Ford. They did have the loaner ready for me said it was something minor but I had to go to work. Yes I work in West Deftford nj. I was 25 mins late.l believe if it was a air bubble in antifreeze aren't you suppose to slowly pour it in and leave room if there is a bubble. Then ck it in a few mins and continue to top it off. Or drive it to see if it signals system. This was very tiring and stressful three days. Thank you for listening.

I was here today, March 15th, 2018 for an oil change, tire rotation and to have my wiper blades replaced. I always come to this dealership to service my car because this is where I got it and they always provide me with great service.
As I was leaving today, I got to my car and noticed it was still dirty and since I always come here, I know that a free wash comes with a vehicle service. I went back in to ask the service writer if they could wash my car and he hesitated and then said "the wash is broken". I said ok and went back to my car to leave. As I was sitting there finishing up a phone call, I noticed a vehicle in the car wash, so I said to myself "that can't be because he just said it was broken"?!?! I sat there several more minutes and noticed 3 more cars exit the car wash dripping with water and SPOTLESS!!
I was shocked because the service writer lied right to my face! I couldn't understand why he would lie to me, especially since I'm a loyal customer. If you didn't have the time or even if you didn't want to do it, why did you have to lie right in my face??? I'm currently researching other options to service my car and it's a shame because I really like coming here. If you can lie to me about a simple wash, how can I trust you to be honest with me about my car???koo
**UPDATE** The owner contacted me after viewing my review and gave me a full apology and offered me a full detail and a tank of gas for the inconvenience. I accepted and they did a great job on my detail. Thank you for making it right.

My Chrysler died last week and I went on the websites and checked customer reviews and found Sheridan the highest rated in my area so I went to their website, selected a car I liked and made a credit application, and a manager called me an hour later and asked me to come in. I made an appointment (by my choice) and found sales associate Bobby Bird waiting for me with my car of interest.
Bobby was like a best friend helping me through this buying process. Before the test drive I said "I don't feel like pulling out onto Kirkwood Highway during rush hour in an unfamiliar car", so Bobby droves us to a safe place where I could drive comfortably, testing acceleration, brakes, suspension over different roads and situations.
During financing I said I did not have a working car for trade, but still got Blue Book value for my old car, and they towed it from my home at my convenience.
After closing, Bobby spent time with me in the car explaining all the modern features like the Sirius radio, how to make blue tooth phone calls via the steering wheel, etc.
What made me really happy was when they did a final detailing of the car, filled the tank to full, free road side assistance, free oil changes for life, free remote start key fobs, and so many other benefits!
By the way, I got the Ford Fusion which gets awesome gas mileage! My dad approves of nothing I buy and he drove it and said "Good job Son, you made a great decision!" And he hates everything!
Ask for Bobby Bird, you won't be disappointed!

Everything fixed and installed ok but took 2- 3 hrs. longer than quoted on recall letter. Sheridan Ford offers transportation back to your house and then picks you up again when your vehicle is ready.

I got a nail in my sidewall of my tire on Ftiday night. Sheridan is appointments only on Saturday, but theu told me to bring my car in and theu would squeeze me in between appointments. I left my car around 9:30a and by 12:30 it was done and ready for pick up. They're service department has always been professional and helpful and I while I haven't needed more than an oil chamge and now a tire, I would recommend them for service of any Ford vehicle.
